  • Counterdetective: Warns its user of the presence of active-scanning in the area.
  • Heads-Up Display: A view screen projection that displays useful information.
  • Blast Tinting: Tints the viewports, preventing blinding by explosions and bright light.
  • Auto-Tracking Fire Controller: Automatically tracks guns and fires on targets.
  • Containment Shielding: Prevents depressurization in event of a hull breach.

  • Breytast Adaptive Camouflage: Changes the paint color and patterns to match the environment or chosen styles.
  • QQ-4U85 Tractor Shroud: Five layered charges, each containing many small tractor-reflective plates secured to each other with fibercord. Significantly affects a tractor or pressor beam's ability to lock onto or affect the ship.
  • Boarding Bay: Docking collars with hull clamps, universal airlocks, multiple cutting lasers, and armored firing positions.
  • Palladium Fusion Cores: Back up generators interspersed through the ship that maintain power and maneuverability if main power fails.
  • Active Maneuverability System: Draws power from the engines to enhance ship maneuverability.
  • SubLight AfterBurner: Boosts the Amarrnth's speed by drawing power away from maneuvering thrusters.
  • Predator Interdiction Drives: Emits an interdiction field, slowing nearby ships.
  • Armored Shutters: Can close over the exposed bridge, turning it into another section of armored hull.
  • Amphibious: The ship can land on and operate underwater.
  • All Standard Ship Systems.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS

STRENGTHS
  • For a corvette, the Amarrnth is capable of laying down extremely heavy fire with its main guns, threatening even ships of the line.
  • Generous fields of fire mean that the majority of the ships weapons can be brought to bear forward and to the sides, and that at least half the weapons can fire in any direction.
WEAKNESSES
  • Because the armored nacels for the four engines are tucked into the sides, they’re easy to target from almost any direction save the front.

DESCRIPTION
A direct fire, heavy-gun focused ship, the Amarrnth’s main feature is its pair of overlarge turrets, more like a battlecruiser’s main guns than what belong on a corvette. This gives it great striking power against mid-sized warships and large freighters. Originally a patrol and interdiction corvette, the Amarrnth has everything a privateer crew could want. Assault boarding tubes, space for extra crew, a heavy tractor beam, and plenty of speed to run down fleeing targets.

This ship originally belonged to a pirate captain who’d hired Corvo to fly protection out of the Amarrnth’s small hanger, but the callousness with which he handled the lives of his crew and victims didn’t sit right with Corvo and he, along with the Executive Officer, Karda Vahl, and other key crew members staged a mutiny, taking the Amarrnth for themselves. They’ve since reinvested their earnings to upgrade the ship. Better shielding, harder hitting and more versatile secondary guns that could disable targets with ion energy or combine with regular laser fire to rip through enemy ships. Reserve generators were installed, along with a new main reactor capable of producing spare fuel. Also upgraded were the accommodations, more comfortable bunks and facilities for the crew, with the mess hall and gallery now resembling a lounge where the Company often gather to discuss strategy over food and snacks prepared by the new chef droid. The armory now features rows of well-maintained Ossury Breacher armor on display behind transparent panels, illuminated by cold white floor-lighting alongside racks of high-powered weapons.

In his quarters, Corvo laid down thick carpets, installed indirect lighting, and paneled the bulkheads with imitation plasteel-laminate wood. Not quite as nice as real wood, but with far fewer splinters tearing through his rooms in case of a penetrating hit. On the bridge, he’s draped the white pelt of a large Edan Tiger across his command chair as if it’s wrapped itself around his seat to lay its head by his feet.

On either side of the ship, the boarding tubes with their armored fold-out firing positions open directly into the cargo hold, making it easy to assault other ships and transfer cargo back. Catwalks around the second level overlook the hold and provide protected firing positions to catch borders attempting to rush the ship in enfilading crossfire. The cargo hold is also where the crew store a repulsorlift Scamander utility IVF, which they use to cruise about town, pick up supplies, or support the rare ground mission.
