Acier Moonbound, nicknamed Ace to some, was a Force-sensitive male human–Dathomiri hybrid of Mandalorian descent, the son of Isley Verd and the Nightsister Orryn of Clan Vethrisa. Born Vayun on Dathomir, Acier was abandoned as an infant on Bonadan with only a lightsaber to his name. Raised amid the industrial Vergeworks undercity, Ace survived through scavenging and instinct until his latent Force abilities drew him into conflict and discovery. Trained briefly by Jedi Knight Pisti Caleida and later aligned with the rebel Hidden Path, Moonbound began forging his own path between legacy and choice, torn between the shadow of his lineage and the will of the Force. Born under the shadow of prophecy as the Final Weave, he carried the burden of a destiny that threatened to define him, even as he fought to shape it on his own terms.

Secret Origins

The omens soon soured. The child was not the prophesied daughter but a son - an abomination in the eyes of her clan. When the elders moved to strip him from her, Orryn fled into the night. With the aid of Vinorl Kastan, a Jedi exile who entrusted the infant with his old lightsaber, Orryn escaped Dathomir and carried her son to Bonadan, leaving him hidden at an orphanage among billions to keep him safe from prophecy, the enemies of his father, and Nightsister vengeance alike. Orryn herself vanished soon after, remembered only as a traitor to her clan... and as a ghost in the journals she left behind.
Orphaned Beginnings

Left with no other information, the caretakers named him Acier. Acier grew up in Sector 9G of the Vergeworks, never aware of his past. Sector 9G was wedged between a starport and a sprawling droid scrapyard. He grew up with the hum of engines and the clatter of machines as his lullaby. The orphanage was crowded and cold, forcing him to rely on himself early.
The scrapyard became his refuge. At first, it was just an escape from the noise of the dorms, but soon he scavenged parts to trade or tinker with, finding worth in what others threw away. In a way, it mirrored himself: discarded, but not without value. It was there he sharpened his resourcefulness and independence, lessons that shaped the survivor he became.
From boyhood he clung to his lightsaber, imagining the parents who had left it with him. At the same time, he learned the streets: scavenging, pickpocketing, and running errands for merchants or the occasional criminal. Quiet, watchful, and self-reliant, Acier grew into a survivor before he ever knew he was something more.
Life on the Streets

Then there was "Red", a smuggler who introduced Acier to the wider galaxy's complexities. Through Red, he learned about the Jedi, Sith and the broader implications of the Force. Hearing these stories made Acier realise he was Force-sensitive and that one of his parents was likely a Jedi, the orphan would keep this information to himself - unsure of who he could trust.
Around the age of thirteen, Acier would meet Tessk - a Trandoshan enforcer for a local but small crime syndicate. After impressing the Trandoshan with his cunning and other skills, the orphan was employed for small tasks which exposed Acier to the darker aspects of the galaxy.
Final Job and Leaving Home
By seventeen, the distant anomalies plaguing the galaxy had grown harder to ignore. The holonets reported unexplained gravitational shifts, and hyperlane maps were being updated weekly. Traders spoke in hushed tones about converging galaxies and strange flickers in deep space, things none of them truly understood. To Acier, it felt like the galaxy itself was on edge… and so was he.
His curiosity about his parents, his lightsaber, and his growing connection to the Force had finally become too much to ignore. The young man decided it was time to leave Bonadan and explore the galaxy he'd grown up hearing about from Red. In need of credits to book passage offworld, Acier agreed to work one last job for Tessk with the promise of enough pay to finally get off the rock.
Acier was tasked with delivering a sealed container to a contact at a remote docking bay. The job seemed straightforward, but Acier's instincts told him there was more beneath the surface.
Upon arrival, Acier discovered the contact was an undercover agent working against Tessk's syndicate. A confrontation ensued, leading to a skirmish that resulted in the usage of Acier's lightsaber and the accidental ignition of volatile materials stored nearby. The ensuing explosion engulfed the docking bay in flames. Amidst the chaos, Acier was able to use his latent Force sense to navigate the blaze, rescuing trapped workers and narrowly escaping with his life.
In the wake of the disaster, Tessk accused Acier of double-crossing him, claiming he had orchestrated the explosion to sabotage the syndicate. In retaliation, Tessk placed a bounty on his head - dead or alive.
With Bonadan no longer safe and no credits to his name, Acier stowed away on a cargo freighter bound for an unknown world, the stars shifting above him, both literally and figuratively.
Now on the run, Acier dedicates himself to three goals: finding someone who can teach him the ways of the Force, discovering who his parents were… and staying one step ahead of the ones hunting him.

Acier Moonbound reflected a young man caught between survivalist instinct and the dawning weight of identity. Having grown up cautious and analytical in Bonadan's underworld, he carried those instincts into his training under Jedi Knight Pisti Caleida. Though still guarded and observant, Moonbound developed a rising confidence that often bordered on recklessness. He increasingly sought to test his limits and placed himself in danger as a means of proving his worth, both to his allies in the Hidden Path and to himself.
The discovery of his mother's journal reshaped his grief into a deeper understanding, transforming his sense of abandonment into sorrow tempered by strength. Yet even as this truth steadied him, Moonbound wrestled with his dark origins as the son of Darth Metus and the heir to a Dathomiri prophecy known as the Final Weave. Fearing it was his destiny to become an avatar of destruction, he struggled to reconcile the shadow of his legacy with his desire for self-determination.
Despite his aloof exterior, Moonbound's loyalty to those he trusted was fierce. He grew increasingly protective of companions This devotion, however, was underpinned by a fear of abandonment. Having grown up alone, his longing for connection had evolved into a deep-seated anxiety that those bonds might be taken from him. Though dry-witted and sharp in demeanor, he revealed a warmer, more lighthearted side when in the company of those he trusted or felt an affinity for, moments that underscored the depth of his attachment. Fiercely individualistic, he distrusted institutions and placed his faith not in orders or governments but in the people he chose to stand beside, binding his beliefs to them rather than to ideology.

His skin was a warm medium brown, scattered with freckles across his cheeks and nose, and a faint scar now traced his left cheek - a leftover from the assault on Sevacros II. His hair, a striking white, was worn in thick shoulder-length locs tied into a loose low ponytail, strands falling free in messy defiance of discipline.
His deep brown eyes were watchful, always scanning, reflecting both curiosity and caution. Years of hyper-vigilance had carved that instinct into him, though flashes of boldness now lived where once there had only been wariness. His features had sharpened with age: high cheekbones, a strong jawline, and scars that gave shape to a face once softer, more boyish.
Acier stood at 1.80 meters. His frame had shed the malnourished frailty of Bonadan, replaced with wiry athleticism honed through relentless training and the trials of combat. Though lean, his presence carried the quiet weight of someone still growing into both his body and the power that coursed through it.

+Streetwise Survivor
Growing up amidst the industrial sprawl of Bonadan, Acier has developed keen instincts for navigating complex urban environments. He's adept at reading people, understanding unspoken rules, and finding his way through the labyrinthine underworld.
+Mechanical Aptitude
Mira endowed Acier with practical skills in repairing and maintaining various devices. This hands-on experience makes him a competent mechanic, capable of improvising solutions under pressure.
+High Force-sensitivity
Acier's natural connection to the Force has deepened. His precognitive sense, emotional attunement, and psychometric abilities are more focused, especially when under pressure. His raw potential, though untamed, is immense.
+Talented Combatant
Though still lacking full refinement, Acier has begun blending his gritty street-fighting style with foundational Jedi techniques. His movements are fast, adaptive, and informed by sharp reflexes and survivalist instincts.
+Resilient Spirit
Years of hardship, identity uncertainty, and the burdens of lineage have not broken Acier, they've shaped him. He demonstrates remarkable mental and emotional resilience, able to push forward even when wounded physically, morally, or spiritually. His ability to keep moving, despite doubt or fear, is becoming a quiet superpower in itself.

-Still In Training
Despite his talent, Acier is still an apprentice-level combatant and Force user. He lacks the finesse, consistency, and wisdom of a fully trained Jedi. Against experienced warriors or Force wielders, he is prone to being outmatched in technique, strategy, or discipline.
-Reckless Confidence
Recent revelations about his bloodline and early Jedi training have inflated Acier's confidence. He occasionally overestimates himself, rushing into danger without fully considering the consequences.
-Struggling With Restraint
Acier has begun to taste the thrill of combat. He enjoys fighting more than he admits, especially when anger or pride enters the equation. This can cause him to go too far, too fast, especially when emotionally charged.
-Fear of Legacy
Knowing his father is a powerful Sith Lord has left Acier fearful of the darkness within himself. Though he seeks to forge a new path, he carries the quiet anxiety that he may one day succumb to the same shadow.
-Trust & Intimacy Issues
Though more open than before, Acier remains cautious with his emotions. He fears dependency and vulnerability, making it hard for him to truly rely on others, even those he's come to care for.

His early style blended the sweeping disarms of Shii-Cho with the momentum-driven strikes of Djem So. Born of instinct rather than formal study, this hybrid allowed him to shift fluidly between offense and defense. Encounters with elite opponents, legacy-programmed MagnaGuards, and predatory fauna pushed him toward unorthodox footwork, inventive use of the environment, and unarmed integration - echoing Caleida's lesson that a Jedi's body can be as much a weapon as their blade.
After joining the Hidden Path, Moonbound's technique matured further. His sparring match with

Now a recognized fighter within the Path, Moonbound's movements have shifted from reactive to anticipatory, and his control over tempo suggests a developing battlefield precognition. By this stage, he is a combatant no longer merely surviving the fight, but dictating it, a rising star whose skill is extraordinary for his experience, yet still tempered by flaws in discipline and the weight of his past.
F O R C E- P O W E R S
Acier Moonbound's connection to the Force has always been instinctive, born of premonitions, sharpened reflexes, and uncanny clarity long before training shaped them into skill. As both the son of Isley Verd and the Final Weave of millennia of Dathomiri bloodlines, his potential is immense, his affinity for the Force carrying a weight of legacy and expectation. While his power runs deep, it remains guided as much by emotion and intuition as discipline.
Acier's gifts manifest most strongly in psychometry, which he can now summon deliberately, though powerful echoes still leave him shaken. His precognition flows through him as a constant undercurrent, surfacing in combat as instinctive warnings and flashes of vision. Alongside these, his control over telekinesis has matured into a precise and reliable tool, while his natural agility - sharpened by the Force - allows him to blend parkour-like movement seamlessly into combat. His affinity for connection has even extended to creatures, as seen when he quieted a Ruping's fear through the Force alone.
Yet despite such promise, Ace's abilities remain unpolished. He leans heavily on lightsaber combat, with his Force use still reactive and unrefined. Sustained or subtle applications challenge him, and his duel with Darth Hydra exposed a critical weakness: a lack of Force defenses, leaving him vulnerable to direct mental or physical assaults. For all his potential, Acier's strength in the Force is still in its earliest stages - powerful, but incomplete.
O T H E R- A B I L I T I E S
Raised on Bonadan, a corporate world plagued by corruption and poverty, Moonbound developed strong survival instincts. From childhood, he navigated the underworld by learning to fight, steal and adapt.
Acier's unrefined but effective combat style was rooted in brawling, grappling, and quick reflexes honed through necessity. Street fights, narrow escapes, and years of survival in the underlevels of Bonadan shaped him into a scrappy, instinct-driven fighter. Though lacking formal martial training, Acier's was a naturally talented fighter. This is likely attributed to latent instinct inherited from his heritage - suggesting that battle-readiness ran in his veins, even if discipline did not.
While not a trained gunslinger, he demonstrated functional competence with small blasters, particularly in high-stress situations. His ability to remain calm under fire, combined with sharp spatial awareness, allowed him to improvise effectively in hostile environments.
Acier also exhibited impressive physical coordination, capable of traversing complex environments at speed, often while under fire.
Moonbound's survival was shaped not by raw strength but by speed, cunning and tenacity. He relied on gut instinct and acute awareness of his surroundings to outmaneuver more powerful opponents.
In addition, Acier possessed significant technical aptitude, having been mentored by a former slicer named Mira during his formative years. He became proficient at bypassing security systems and manipulating digital infrastructure. He once brokered a deal with the Black Sun by offering to slice into a rival syndicate's systems.
Acier demonstrated skill in repairing and modifying starships, hyperdrives and other mechanical systems.
These skills combined with his Force-sensitivity made him a valuable asset in both underground dealings and ancient artifact recovery.
