Acier Moonbound, nicknamed "Ace" to few, was a Force-sensitive alleged human male. With a past shrouded in mystery and a lightsaber serving as his only clue, Ace scours the galaxy searching for any ties to his background as well as his place in the universe.
B I O G R A P H Y
Orphaned Beginnings
From a young age, Acier clung to his lightsaber - his birthright, as a source of comfort, fantasising at all the possibilites of what his parents could have been. The overcrowding at the orphanage forced Acier to become more independent, he learned to navigate the labyrinthine alleys and underlevels of the city. He became adept at scavenging, pickpocketing, and running errands for local merchants and, occasionally, less savory individuals.
Life on the Streets
Then there was "Red", a smuggler who introduced Acier to the wider galaxy's complexities. Through Red, he learned about the Jedi, Sith and the broader implications of the Force. Hearing these stories made Acier realise he was Force-sensitive and that one of his parents was likely a Jedi, the orphan would keep this information to himself - unsure of who he could trust.
Around the age of thirteen, Acier would meet Tessk - a Trandoshan enforcer for a local but small crime syndicate. After impressing the Trandoshan with his cunning and other skills, the orphan was employed for small tasks which exposed Acier to the darker aspects of the galaxy.
Final Job and Leaving Home
At seventeen, Acier's curiosity about his parents, the lightsaber and his growing connection to the Force had finally become too much to ignore. The young man decided it was time to finally leave Bonadan and explore the galaxy he'd grown up hearing from Red. In need of credits to book departure, Acier agreed to work one last job for Tessk with the promise of enough pay for him to get off the rock.
Acier was tasked with delivering a sealed container to a contact at a remote docking bay. The job seemed straightforward, but Acier's instincts told him there was more beneath the surface.
Upon arrival, Acier discovered the contact was an undercover agent working against Tessk's syndicate. A confrontation ensued, leading to a skirmish that resulted in the usage of Acier's lightsaber and the accidental ignition of volatile materials stored nearby. The ensuing explosion engulfed the docking bay in flames. Amidst the chaos, Acier was able to use his latent Force sense to navigate the blaze, rescuing trapped workers and narrowly escaping with his life.
In the wake of the disaster, Tessk accused Acier of double crossing him, claiming he had orchestrated the explosion to sabotage the syndicate. In retaliation, Tessk placed a bounty placed on his head, wanting him dead or alive. Needing to flee Bonadan but with no credits to his name, Acier was forced to stow away on a cargo ship headed to the nearest planet.
Bonadan now behind him, Acier would dedicate himself to finding a teacher to train him, discovering who his parents were and evade the bounty on his head.

Acier Moonbound is a resiliant and introspective individual shaped by a life of hardship and mystery. Growing up in the industrial underbelly of Bonadan's underground orphanage, he developed a strong sense of independence and resourcefulness. His early experiences taught him to rely on his wit and adaptability, making him adept at navigating complex social situations and environments.
Ace's curiosity is a defining trait, driving him to seek knowledge about the galaxy and, more personally, the truth about his origins and the significans of the lightsaber left with him at birth. The quest for identity fuels his determination, even when faced with daunting challenges or uncertain outcomes.
Despite his outward confidence and occasional charm, Ace harbors deep-seated trust issues. His past has made him cautious about forming close relationships, often keeping others at arm's length to protect himself from potential betrayal. This guarded nature means he rarely reveals vulnerabilities, preferring to maintain a composed and sometimes aloof demeanor.
In situations of conflict, Ace is pragmatic. He doesn't shy away from using persuasion of force if necessary, but he prefers to assess situations carefully before acting. His experiences have instilled in him a sense of caution, but not hesitation, allowing him to make swift decisions when required.

His facial features are defined yet youthful, with high cheekbones and a symmetrical jawline softened by the freckles that adorn his face. A faint scar also runs along his left eyebrow, a remnant from a childhood mishap.

The only possession he owns is the lightsaber left with him at his birth, which he occasionally flashes for intimidation when he feels under threat - despite not actually knowing how to use it. The lightsaber itself has a simple, almost makeshift design, with a metallic chrome casing and a leather grip on its centre. The colour of the blade is cyan.
Acier was gifted a speeder bike after hiring a pilot to take him to an uncharted planet in Wild Space. With seemingly no way to get off-world and feeling a sense of concern, the pilot gave Ace the vehicle so he'd be able to travel the lands easier.
While on Denon, Ace purchased an illegal DL-27. It had a modified grip for quicker draw and was tuned for overcharge costs.

Awakening Arc
Barely escaping Bonadan in tact, Acier has been in hiding hopping from planet to planet to evade bounty hunters. While doing this, Acier is hunting for leads on potential Jedi and information on his parents.

- Born with no name, Acier received his name by his caregivers at the orphanage. "Moonbound" was a tongue-in-cheek joke regarding his status as an orphan and having no ties outside Bonadan.
