The High Republic

The High Republic is a light-side aligned constitutional democracy that was founded in Nabooian diplomatic traditions and practices, yet shaped by the vision of a brighter, unified future for the Southern Systems.

The Vanguard

Where the Light hesitates, we strike.

"The Council waits for a sign. The Republic waits for a vote. Meanwhile, the galaxy bleeds. We don't need permission to do what is right -- we just need a blade and the will to stand." — Lorn Reingard

Ideology
The Vanguard operates on the belief that evil cannot be negotiated with or merely contained. While the mainstream Jedi Order preaches patience and adherence to Republic politics, this group views such restraint as a dangerous luxury. They adhere to a strict duty of active protection, believing that true service to the Light requires striking down the Sith before they can inflict further suffering on the galaxy.

The Crusade
Their current campaign is a targeted, offensive effort aimed at completely eradicating the Sith presence within the Core worlds and behind the Black Wall. It is a war of attrition and subversion, moving away from defensive peacekeeping into active, militant intervention to dismantle the dark side's infrastructure.

Galactic Views
To the Vanguard, the High Republic is a fragile, self-absorbed idealist state managed by politicians who only protect their own voters. They see the modern Jedi Council as stagnant and paralyzed by political ties. Security and peace can only be guaranteed by those willing to step outside the Order's official grace and face the dark side on the front lines.

Overview
Following the decisive meeting within Shiraya's Rest, the Vanguard finally knew exactly who stood with them and who chose the Council's path of inaction. Secrecy became their highest priority. To prevent the Republic or the Sith from tracking their movements, the group immediately transferred all personnel, weapon caches, and starships to a secluded, overgrown rebel base on D'Qar. This massive relocation was handled entirely under the radar, utilizing the hidden networks and leftover logistics of the old Foundation and the Jedi Underground.
