Acier "Ace" Moonbound was a Force-sensitive human–Dathomiri hybrid of Mandalorian descent, born Vayun to Orryn of Clan Vethrisa and the Mandalorian fugitive Isley Verd Isley Verd , abandoned as an infant on Bonadan with only a lightsaber and no knowledge of his origins. His latent Force abilities pulled him into conflict and a mentorship under Jedi Knight Pisti Caleida Pisti Caleida

After uncovering the truth of his parentage and joining the Hidden Path, Ace became a rising figure in the Great Core War, confronting Imperials, Sith, and ancient threats. His attempt to save his mother led to her execution by Clan Vethrisa, triggering a grief-driven massacre that scarred him deeply. Weeks later, he fought Sith Lord Kyrothian Ravoch Kyrothian Ravoch aboard the Death Star III, losing his left arm before being rescued.

During his recovery and subsequent travels, he constructed a new lightsaber, refined his forms, slew the Mother of Teeth, and discovered a rare Dyad bond with Calyx Sundrift Calyx Sundrift . After aiding the High Republic on Genarius, Ace chose to infiltrate the Sith Covenant under false allegiance, determined to uncover the orchestrated darkness behind their uprise, unaware that his belief in his own immunity to corruption marks the beginning of his most dangerous trial yet.

Secret Origins

Acier Moonbound was born Vayun in 884 ABY on Dathomir, the son of Orryn of Clan Vethrisa and Isley Verd Isley Verd . For centuries, Clan Vethrisa had pursued a breeding program to bring forth the Final Weave, a prophesied daughter destined to dominate the clans and bend the galaxy to her will. Orryn was chosen as one of the clan's most promising vessels, but her fate diverged when she fell in love with Isley, a Force-sensitive Mandalorian fugitive who would later become Darth Metus. Their union was brief, and when Isley departed for duty, Orryn discovered she was carrying his child.

The omens soon soured. The child was not the prophesied daughter but a son - an abomination in the eyes of her clan. When the elders moved to strip him from her, Orryn fled into the night. With the aid of Vinorl Kastan, a Jedi exile who entrusted the infant with his old lightsaber, Orryn escaped Dathomir and carried her son to Bonadan, leaving him hidden at an orphanage among billions to keep him safe from prophecy, the enemies of his father, and Nightsister vengeance alike. Orryn herself vanished soon after, remembered only as a traitor to her clan... and as a ghost in the journals she left behind.

Orphaned Beginnings

Left with no other information, the caretakers named him Acier. Acier grew up in Sector 9G of the Vergeworks, never aware of his past. Sector 9G was wedged between a starport and a sprawling droid scrapyard. He grew up with the hum of engines and the clatter of machines as his lullaby. The orphanage was crowded and cold, forcing him to rely on himself early.

The scrapyard became his refuge. At first, it was just an escape from the noise of the dorms, but soon he scavenged parts to trade or tinker with, finding worth in what others threw away. In a way, it mirrored himself: discarded, but not without value. It was there he sharpened his resourcefulness and independence, lessons that shaped the survivor he became.

From boyhood he clung to his lightsaber, imagining the parents who had left it with him. At the same time, he learned the streets: scavenging, pickpocketing, and running errands for merchants or the occasional criminal. Quiet, watchful, and self-reliant, Acier grew into a survivor before he ever knew he was something more.

Life on the Streets

Acier was close to few individuals, but those few were incredibly influential in the boy's life. Mira, a former slicer turned mechanic, took Acier under her wing teaching him about starship systems and the art of slicing. She was the closest thing to a maternal figure, occasionally offering guidance and a modicum of stability.

Then there was "Red", a smuggler who introduced Acier to the wider galaxy's complexities. Through Red, he learned about the Jedi, Sith and the broader implications of the Force. Hearing these stories made Acier realise he was Force-sensitive and that one of his parents was likely a Jedi, the orphan would keep this information to himself - unsure of who he could trust.

Around the age of thirteen, Acier would meet Tessk - a Trandoshan enforcer for a local but small crime syndicate. After impressing the Trandoshan with his cunning and other skills, the orphan was employed for small tasks which exposed Acier to the darker aspects of the galaxy.

Final Job and Leaving Home
By seventeen, the distant anomalies plaguing the galaxy had grown harder to ignore. The holonets reported unexplained gravitational shifts, and hyperlane maps were being updated weekly. Traders spoke in hushed tones about converging galaxies and strange flickers in deep space, things none of them truly understood. To Acier, it felt like the galaxy itself was on edge… and so was he.

His curiosity about his parents, his lightsaber, and his growing connection to the Force had finally become too much to ignore. The young man decided it was time to leave Bonadan and explore the galaxy he'd grown up hearing about from Red. In need of credits to book passage offworld, Acier agreed to work one last job for Tessk with the promise of enough pay to finally get off the rock.

Acier was tasked with delivering a sealed container to a contact at a remote docking bay. The job seemed straightforward, but Acier's instincts told him there was more beneath the surface.

Upon arrival, Acier discovered the contact was an undercover agent working against Tessk's syndicate. A confrontation ensued, leading to a skirmish that resulted in the usage of Acier's lightsaber and the accidental ignition of volatile materials stored nearby. The ensuing explosion engulfed the docking bay in flames. Amidst the chaos, Acier was able to use his latent Force sense to navigate the blaze, rescuing trapped workers and narrowly escaping with his life.

In the wake of the disaster, Tessk accused Acier of double-crossing him, claiming he had orchestrated the explosion to sabotage the syndicate. In retaliation, Tessk placed a bounty on his head - dead or alive.

With Bonadan no longer safe and no credits to his name, Acier stowed away on a cargo freighter bound for an unknown world, the stars shifting above him, both literally and figuratively.

Now on the run, Acier dedicates himself to three goals: finding someone who can teach him the ways of the Force, discovering who his parents were… and staying one step ahead of the ones hunting him.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

In his earliest days after leaving Bonadan, Moonbound was driven by instinct, curiosity, and a hunger for answers. Drifting across the Outer Rim, he balanced survival with self-discovery. He approached the Force with eager, sometimes unrefined determination, attempting simple telekinetic feats and chasing leads with single-minded persistence, driven as much by hope as by frustration. His social comportment at this stage showed a youth still learning to trust others, cautious in interaction yet capable of playful warmth, as evidenced by his casual salutations and moments of light-hearted banter while earning credits in cantinas and workshops.

As his journey continued and he uncovered parts of his parentage and broader galactic conflict, Moonbound's demeanor became more determined and reflective without losing its underlying intensity. His early reactions to danger were often fueled by adrenaline and instinct, sprinting through crowded streets or preparing to defend himself when sensed threats arose. But even in these moments his movements revealed a growing understanding of his own capabilities and limitations. These experiences helped temper his earlier impulsiveness with a developing sense of situational awareness and an evolving understanding of what it meant to be Force-sensitive in a galaxy fraught with peril.

Following the Battle of Atrisia, Moonbound had become a quietly resolute and emotionally grounded presence, shaped by loss but no longer governed by it. He confronted his past directly, acknowledging grief and regret without denial or self-destruction, and integrated those experiences into a clearer sense of self. Ace listened more than he spoke, choosing his words with care and offering empathy rooted in lived experience rather than platitude. In moments of danger he acted with deliberate resolve instead of reckless impulse, protecting others with precision and restraint. His dry, understated humor remained a means of connection rather than deflection, and his loyalty to those he trusted was steadfast, protective, and consciously chosen.

P H Y S I C A L- A P P E A R A N C E

His skin was a warm medium brown, scattered with freckles across his cheeks and nose, and a faint scar now traced his left cheek - a leftover from the assault on Sevacros II. His hair, a striking white, was worn in thick shoulder-length locs, strands falling free in messy defiance of discipline.

His deep brown eyes were watchful, always scanning, reflecting both curiosity and caution. Years of hyper-vigilance had carved that instinct into him, though flashes of boldness now lived where once there had only been wariness. His features had sharpened with age: high cheekbones, a strong jawline, and scars that gave shape to a face once softer, more boyish.

In a duel with the self-proclaimed Sith Lord Kyrothian Ravoch Kyrothian Ravoch on the Death Star III, Ravoch severed Acier's lower left arm. Following this, Acier was fitted with a cybernetic prosthetic.

Acier stood at 1.80 meters. His frame had shed the malnourished frailty of Bonadan, replaced with wiry athleticism honed through relentless training and the trials of combat. Though lean, his presence carried the quiet weight of someone still growing into both his body and the power that coursed through it.

S T R E N G T H S- & -F L A W S

S T R E N G T H S
+Hardened Survivor
Life on Bonadan forged Acier into a pragmatic and instinct-driven survivor. The underworld taught him to read danger before it struck, to improvise under pressure, and to navigate chaos with calm precision. These instincts have only sharpened through war and loss, he adapts where others freeze.
+Mechanical Aptitude
Mira endowed Acier with practical skills in repairing and maintaining various devices. This hands-on experience makes him a competent mechanic, capable of improvising solutions under pressure.
+Force Conduit
Moonbound's natural connection to the Force runs deep and turbulent. His telekinetic power, empathy, and psychometric sensitivity remain prodigious, but his greatest strength lies in the way the Force flows through him, volatile yet responsive, capable of amplifying the light of others or unleashing destructive waves when emotion overtakes restraint.
+Adaptive Combatant
Having merged street fighting, Djem So, and Shii-Cho foundations, Acier fights with unorthodox creativity. His speed, southpaw stance, and instinct for terrain make him unpredictable even to seasoned duelists. His time under Pisti Caleida and the crucible of the Great Core War honed not elegance, but endurance, he endures what should break him.
+Relentless Will
More than skill or lineage, Acier's defining strength is persistence. Every loss: of family, limb, and faith, has scarred but not broken him. He continues forward not out of confidence, but because stopping feels impossible. That unyielding endurance has become his quiet form of courage.

F L A W S
-Haunted by Detachment
Since the massacre on Dathomir, Acier struggles not with rage but with emotional numbness. He fears the void more than the darkness, the sense that he no longer feels enough to be human. This detachment can make him cold in crisis or hesitant to reach for the Force when it matters most.
-Incomplete Training
Though battle-tested, he remains formally unrefined. His instincts compensate for technique, but against masters of discipline or the Dark Side's manipulations, his gaps in control and focus remain evident.
-Residual Recklessness
The impulsive drive that once defined him hasn't vanished; it hides beneath restraint. When provoked or protecting others, he can still charge past reason, embracing danger with a fatalist calm that borders on self-destructive.
-Burden of Legacy
Knowing his father's nature and his clan's prophecy weighs on him. Every surge of anger or burst of power reminds him of the blood he carries. This fear breeds hesitation in combat and self-doubt in leadership, a constant internal tug-of-war between destiny and defiance.
-Trust & Intimacy
Initially on the path to trusting and being more vulnerable, recent losses has made closeness dangerous. He distances himself from those he cares for, convinced that attachment invites ruin. Even among allies, he keeps part of himself sealed off, his loyalty expressed through protection rather than vulnerability.

Acier Moonbound's lightsaber training began under Jedi Knight Pisti Caleida Pisti Caleida - whose intermittent lessons laid a foundation of discipline, precision, and emotional grounding. Combined with his prodigious reflexes, strong Force affinity, and dueling talent, he progressed with unusual speed - matching the capabilities of upper-level Padawans long before he had their formal mileage. His early hybrid of Shii-Cho disarms and Djem So power-strikes emerged instinctively, shaped by survival rather than classroom theory.

Live combat accelerated that growth. Bounty hunters, MagnaGuards, predatory fauna and high-pressure battlefield scenarios pushed him toward creative footwork, environmental tactics, and unarmed integration; extensions of Caleida's lesson that the Jedi's whole body is a weapon. His time with the Hidden Path honed that foundation: his sparring matches with Everest Vale Everest Vale and Aris Noble Aris Noble revealed both the brilliance and the gaps of his improvisational style, while his first clash with the Sith Lord Darth Hydra Darth Hydra forced him to face Jar'Kai Makashi, Force-augmented blows, and lightning he had no true defense against.

His confrontation with Kyrothian Ravoch Kyrothian Ravoch aboard the Death Star III became the turning point. Facing a master of Niman-rooted precision and psychological manipulation, Moonbound fought for nearly twenty minutes through collapsing corridors, fire, stun volleys, and mounting injury. The duel ended when Ravoch exploited an overextension and, striking with surgical Makashi economy, severed Moonbound's left arm at the elbow. Though defeated and maimed, Moonbound demonstrated extraordinary resilience, instinctive brilliance, and an emerging ability to read tempo and intent mid-combat.

In the aftermath of Atrisia, his technique sharpened further. Under Jedi Knight Lorn Reingard Lorn Reingard , he refined both branches of Form V, Shien and Djem So. On Veridia, the Battlemaster Braze Braze introduced him to the fundamentals of Makashi, which Moonbound wove into his footwork to correct the predictable patterning Ravoch exploited.

His subsequent engagements, against the assassin Eira Dyn Eira Dyn , his father Isley Verd Isley Verd , and the volatile Sith acolyte Vestra Tane Vestra Tane , further strengthened this evolution. Each duel pressed him to stabilize his guard, control distance more intelligently, and apply Makashi's precision to Shien's counters. Though still volatile and imperfect in discipline, Moonbound now fights with clearer structure, refined economy, and an increasingly deliberate command of tempo and pressure.

F O R C E- P O W E R S

Moonbound's extraordinary Force potential was not a quirk of birth but the culmination of a millennia-long breeding program undertaken by Clan Vethrisa Intended to create the prophesied "Final Weave," a being who could command the Force on a scale rivaling the greatest legends, the unexpected result was Acier himself. The depth of his connection reflected centuries of deliberate selection and ritual, making him less an accident of destiny and more the product of generations attempting to sculpt one.

Fellow sensitives often remarked that the energy around him was never still - Padawan Zaiya Ceti Zaiya Ceti once noted that "the Force seemed to swirl in all sorts of interesting ways with him." While the Sith Lord Kyrothian Ravoch Kyrothian Ravoch observed that "when he sighs, the Force ripples," describing him as a storm barely contained by flesh.

Moonbound's telekinetic ability was prodigious for his age. He could arrest the flight of missiles, and once unleashed a Force repulse so violent it cracked a corridor and detonated nearby fuel canisters. These eruptions were usually instinctive rather than calculated, revealing both the scale of his reserves and the volatility of his emotions.

Beyond raw power, Moonbound exhibited rare sensitivity through psychometry and Force empathy. During the confrontation within the ziggurat on Teth, he used the strength of his personal bonds to aid the Padawan Zaiya, amplifying her light-side projection until it purged a dark-side nexus. The episode confirmed that his greatest potential lay not merely in destruction but in connection, acting as a conduit through which the Force itself could unify and heal. His affinity for connection has even extended to creatures, as seen when he quieted a Ruping's fear through the Force alone.

O T H E R- A B I L I T I E S

Acier's unrefined but effective combat style was rooted in brawling, grappling, and quick reflexes honed through necessity. Street fights, narrow escapes, and years of survival in the underlevels of Bonadan shaped him into a scrappy, instinct-driven fighter. Though lacking formal martial training, Acier was a naturally talented fighter. This is likely attributed to latent instinct inherited from his heritage - suggesting that battle-readiness ran in his veins, even if discipline did not.

While not a trained gunslinger, he demonstrated functional competence with small blasters, particularly in high-stress situations. His ability to remain calm under fire, combined with sharp spatial awareness, allowed him to improvise effectively in hostile environments.

Acier also exhibited impressive physical coordination, capable of traversing complex environments at speed, often while under fire.

Moonbound's survival was shaped not by raw strength but by speed, cunning and tenacity. He relied on gut instinct and acute awareness of his surroundings to outmaneuver more powerful opponents.

In addition, Acier possessed significant technical aptitude, having been mentored by a former slicer named Mira during his formative years. He became proficient at bypassing security systems and manipulating digital infrastructure. He once brokered a deal with the Black Sun by offering to slice into a rival syndicate's systems.

Acier demonstrated skill in repairing and modifying starships, hyperdrives and other mechanical systems.

These skills combined with his Force-sensitivity made him a valuable asset in both underground dealings and ancient artifact recovery.

Several months into his training with Jedi Knight Pisti Caleida, now eighteen, Acier returned to a galaxy on the edge, stronger, sharper, and burdened with deeper conflict. Though far from mastery, he pursued the truth of his mother's fate and confronted the legacy of being Darth Metus' son.

During this time, Acier returned to Bonadan to finally confront Tessk and make him call off the bounty. Acier and Rheyla Tann fought through Tessk's hideout, even tangling with reprogrammed IG-100 MagnaGuards. In a fit of rage, Acier tapped into the Dark side, killing Tessk, leaving him deeply affected by this. In the aftermath, Acier recovered and claimed Tessk's modified YT-series freighter - naming if the Flickerfox.

    Closure

After viewing the echoes imprinted on his lightsaber, Acier began the search for the original owner of his lightsaber. His search led him to Dathomir, where he would meet Vinorl Kastan - a Jedi Knight who walked away from the Order, taking the Barash Vow. He learned this man knew his mother and was gifted her journals.

In his freetime, Acier read through his mother's journals. Learning her name, Orryn, her past, the nature of her relationship with his father, and why she left him on Bonadan. Discovering the truth about his origins allowed Acier to fill the void that had been with him his entire life, closing that chapter forever.

    The Hidden Path

Following the fall of Coruscant and the return of the Galactic Empire, the Core fell into disarray. Valery Noble, now having stepped down as the New Jedi Order's Grand Master, formed her own rebel network to combat the Empire - the Hidden Path. Acier was one of the many she reached out to for help. Trusting in his friend and wanting to fight against the Empie, he decided to join.

Within the Hidden Path, Acier intercepted Imperial operations, aided in establishing remote outposts, and even stood against a Sith Lord. Yet it was among its ranks that he also began to form deeper connections.

Not a member of its ranks, but a prominent figure in his life was Sibylla Abrantes Sibylla Abrantes , the Mandalorian Ambassador serving under the High Republic. Their paths crossed repeatedly during Acier's visits to Mandalorian space, and what began as curiosity evolved into a quiet, growing bond. Sibylla's intellect and grace challenged Acier's cynicism, grounding his restless spirit. Their relationship became a rare point of warmth in Acier's turbulent life.

"The path ahead is woven to break him, [...]
And I sense much anger in him. And fear."
    - Vinorl Kastan
As the Great Core War dawned. Settled within the Hidden Path, Acier Moonbound stood taller, sharper, and no longer just a survivor. He had allies at his side, a cause to fight for, and the beginnings of a name beyond Bonadan's shadows. Yet beneath that growth lingered the wolf's hunger - loss, fear, and anger that refuse to fade. The bonds he's forged keep him steady, but the line between strength and ruin has never felt thinner.

    A Son's Loss

After months of uneasy peace, Acier began suffering recurring visions of his mother's torture on Dathomir. Determined to save her, he returned to his birthplace with the aid of Imperial agent Ines Pen-Ar-Lan Ines Pen-Ar-Lan , alias Verse Melnau. Together they freed Orryn, but the rescue proved a trap laid by Clan Vethrisa, his own bloodline.

No longer seeking his death, the clan instead revered him as the prophesied Final Weave. To sever his attachments, the Clan Mother executed Orryn before his eyes. In a moment of grief and fury, Acier lost control, turning on the clan and slaughtering nearly all of them until Verse stopped him just short of killing their young.

When the rage subsided, only guilt remained. Haunted by the massacre, Acier carries the weight of Dathomir's blood as a stain on his conscience and a reminder of what unchecked anger can cost.

Outbreak of the Great Core War

When the first volleys of the Great Core War began on Atrisia, Acier and a few other members of the Hidden Path moved to intercept aboard a new Death Star. Amid the chaos, Moonbound crossed blades with Kyrothian Ravoch Kyrothian Ravoch , a Sith Lord of terrifying composure and precision. Their clash tore through the battle station's corridors, twenty relentless minutes of steel, light, and will. Ravoch's discipline met Moonbound's hybrid ferocity in a duel that tested every lesson he had ever learned.

Moonbound fought with unmatched endurance and instinct, adapting to collapsing halls and waves of Stormtroopers, but the Sith's mastery proved overwhelming. Ravoch dismantled him piece by piece, exploiting every flicker of doubt until the final exchange - a blinding arc of crimson that severed Acier's left arm. Aether managed to rescue Acier from capture or death, returning with him to Roon.

Although the Death Star III was successfully destroyed, the Galactic Alliance collapsed in the aftermath - leaving a dense power vacuum in the Core following the war's onset.

Recovering on Roon, Acier isolates himself from everyone - including the Hidden Path and Sibylla. Still reeling from his mother's death, the loss of his arm, and the memory of seeing Sibylla kiss Aurelian Veruna Aurelian Veruna at the Naboo Masquerade some weeks prior, he convinces himself that distance is the only way to survive the storm inside him.

Weeks later, Sibylla tracks him down and confronts him on a hospital terrace. What begins as frustration over his silence unravels into a brutal confrontation, Acier's grief and heartbreak colliding with her confusion and hurt. He reveals that his bond with her through the Force showed him her feelings for Aurelian, and that he's been running ever since, unable to bear the connection that keeps him tied to her emotions.

In the end, Ace admits he stayed away because there was no way to fix it and that he wants space. Although hurt, Sibylla ultimately respects his choice, granting him the distance he so desperately desired.

    Travels Across the Galaxy

Following his recovery, Acier departed Roon but didn't return to the fight. For many weeks, he simply drifted the galaxy. During that time, he constructed a new lightsaber, reconnected with the Force, and encountered new and interesting characters. Throughout this period, Acier traveled on a journey of self-discovery and renewal - figuring out who he was and who he wanted to truly be going forward.

Acier both refined and developed his skill with a lightsaber. On Naboo, he briefly trained with Jedi Knight Lorn Reingard Lorn Reingard in refining both variants of Form V - Djem So and Shien. On Veridia, Acier also trained briefly with the Jedi Exile and Battlemaster Braze Braze who taught him the fundamentals of Form II; Makashi, in which Ace implemented into his footwork.

    Duel on Altier

Stopping off on the planet Altier, Acier encountered a family of farmers and briefly stayed with them. All that is put at risk with the arrival of none other than Acier's father, Darth Metus, who came to harm the family patriarch - Vor. Refusing to leave them, Acier, met his father for the first time as well as stood against him.

    Post-Duel

Acier's duel with his father further proved to him that he still had much to learn. He continued to focus his efforts on improving his dueling, and re-learning his place in the galaxy. However, despite the Hidden Path having gone quiet since Atrisia, Acier would aid those still active when he could. Such as when he defended a political activist on Corellia from Eira Dyn Eira Dyn - a Sith Assassin.

On the quieter end of things, he continued to meet new and old friends. One such old acquaintance was Jael Amnen Jael Amnen - a Nocturnist Priestess, whom he had grown concerned for as he learned her faith was veering dangerously close to fanaticism.

    The Mother of Teeth

Eventually, the old fractures within him had steadied, though the marks remained. It was during this wandering that he reunited with Vinorl Kastan on a struggling frontier colony. The two walked the ridge above the settlement, speaking not of war but of wounds: Orryn's death, Dathomir, and the blood he spilled in vengeance.

For the first time, Ace could speak of his mother without breaking. Vinorl sensed the change in him: still worn, still haunted, but no longer ruled by the fracture. When Ace confessed he didn't know how to face what he had done on Dathomir, Vinorl offered a simple truth: he couldn't outrun that ground forever. Healing, he said, was not distance. Sometimes it was return. Ace agreed.

Ace returned to Dathomir with Jedi Knight Lorn Reingard at his side, hoping to confront the ghosts of Clan Vethrisa and lay the horrors of the massacre to rest. Instead, they encountered something far older... the Mother of Teeth, a Dathomiri entity who revered Ace's slaughter as divine proof of the Final Weave. She sought not to condemn him, but to mold him into a messianic figure for the clans.

The confrontation devolved into a brutal duel. Her shadowed magic twisted the battlefield, forcing Ace and Lorn into a desperate fight for survival. In the end, they struck her down. With her dying breath, the Mother of Teeth whispered a final omen:
    Arcana.

Following the Mother's final omen, Ace traveled to Arcana, drawn to its buried secrets and persistent pull in the Force. Among its ruins he encountered an old contact, Calyx Sundrift, and together they explored the dead world's forgotten structures and lingering echoes. What began as investigation became revelation when they discovered the truth of their bond: Ace and Calyx were a Dyad in the Force, two beings sharing a single, intertwined current.

    The Wolf's Den

Their connection had barely settled before the Sith Covenant struck Genarius. Ace fought alongside the High Republic, helping repel the assault. The Covenant's presence in the Force did not move like a swarm; it moved like an orchestra. Their coordination, their precision, and the controlled darkness surrounding them all pointed to the same conclusion.

This was not a loose cult of Sith but a carefully constructed wound in the galaxy. That pattern mattered more to Ace than the victory, and so, he falsely pledged loyalty to the Apprentice he'd faced in the battle - Vestra Tane Vestra Tane and returned with her to Desevro.

Privately, his intent was clear: infiltrate, observe, and hunt the truth from within. For the first time since they'd met, Ace left Tic behind, entrusting the BD-unit's safety to his friend Isobel Serraris Isobel Serraris . It was a quiet admission that wherever he was going next was not a place Tic belonged. With a new lightsaber at his side, steadier control over his emotions, and the belief that he could walk through darkness without falling to it, Acier Moonbound stepped willingly into the Covenant's shadow, convinced his discipline would keep him safe, blind to the fact that such certainty was the oldest trap the dark had ever laid.

When the Sith Covenant's unnerving precision reveals a hidden design behind every attack, Ace makes the most dangerous choice of his life. To vanish into their ranks under a false oath, determined to discover the truth from within. Steeled by grief, guided by a Dyad he barely understands, and convinced his hard-won discipline can keep the dark at bay, Ace walks willingly into the wolf's den… unaware that the mask he wears may become the first chain the shadows fasten around him.
