Witches and Wyyrloks (Tygara)

[member="Charlyra Araano"]

Eileithya nodded understandingly. "It is hard to break with something you've known your entire life and dedicated yourself to. Even if it's to do the right thing. You cannot help question yourself. There was a time when I had to break with the Church of Ashira because its hallowed halls were stained with corruption. I've learned that sometimes the spirit of a code is more important than the letter." That was obviously not the same situation, but nonetheless.

"I know a number of Jedi who left the Order. For reasons of conscience, family or to fight evil in a way they could not while still answerable to the Council. Siobhan, [member="Coryth Elaris"], [member="Nima Tann"] and so on. Your sister found a home here, a way to balance her aggression with her good heart, after the losses she suffered."

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Nima reflexively listened to Sio's words and started to breathe in and out to get out of her state of panic since it worked before, soon her breathing speed started to slow down to normal levels and the sudden appearing thoughts of failure didn't hurt flying in her head, of course the small lekku massage and her words helped her relax a good bit and managed to take some of the headache away. And drinking the water that Sio brought to her, she was back to normal, well as normal as she could manage, and so after blinking twice or thrice and taking a relaxed sigh, she nodded with a smile finally. "I... think I panicked again." Then added. "Thank you." Well, it was the second time she managed to save her from a panic attack because of a social situation, they were always difficult for the Twi'lek. Even to the point that she would prefer spending her time in a battlefield full of enemies than a social party, which was the exact opposite right now.

"Yes, I would like to." She said to her invitation with a nod then looked at where Tegaea stood, noticing more people were with her. One she remembered seeing her here and there in the Temple before but didn't have the chance to properly meet. And the other one, she has never seen before. Nonetheless, it meant she had to introduce herself, hopefully not make it awkward. She had to mentally prepare herself first, like for a few hours or so, even though it seemed like such an easy task. Unfortunately, she didn't have many hours to prepare, so she had to improvise somehow! It was going to be embarrassing... "You can do this." She whispered to herself. "You've just escaped an almost destroyed ship. How difficult can it be?" Then looked at Sio realizing what she was doing. "Oh, was I talking to myself? Sorry." Oh Force...

Meanwhile, Ice was offended by HK's mention of his mom. If he could talk, he would say with the most generic British voice ever. "Excuse me sir, but I don't appreciate what you are trying to say about my mother." Speaking of, his mother was experimented on by a crazy Sith alchemist when she was pregnant to 3 pups, that's why Ice was a mutated wolf. So, yeah. Touchy subject. Fortunately, he still couldn't speak, so he just growled with an annoyed face and pushed him with a slight headbutt. He would follow Nima, Sio and HK towards their table and of course, would be happy to see new friends, also new people to pet him because why not! "It doesn't mean I forgot what you have done, Ice." Nima added, just to be sure.

Myrrashai shifted in her seat again, her back now relaxed and settled into the chair. She moved one leg to rest over the other and the older Araano took a glance at her hands, she hadn't realized she had aged so much. She didn't feel it, and then she looked at her sister. She could only recall the conversation with Yuna, they were at the Academy on Coruscant when Yuna told her, that they had a little sister.

A picture was provided of the then infant Charlyra, but nothing more came. Yuna and Myrra had been moved on in their training and contact with their families was strictly forbidden. Yuna managed the picture from her own means, and discouraged Myrra from contacting their parents. "it is well that she has found a place here, what did you call it?" She asks geninuely, and then places a hand under her chin as she contemplates.

"At least you can relate, not many can, leaving the Order was not an easy decision. To try and form a bond with a sister I don't even know?" She let the question linger, the vital monitors continued to beep and Charlyra continued to breathe, "easy."

"Although," she begins while removing her hand, "I often wonder, now anyway, I often wonder what life could have been like." Myrra shakes her head and plants her foot onto the ground, "pointless now, no point in wondering what life would've been like had we'd been allowed to grow up together."

Rising to her feet, Myrra looks over Charlyra, "Eileithya, isn't it?" She asks to confirm, "I'm feeling a bit peckish, care to walk with me to the cafeteria? You don't have to, I can manage on my own. I think."

[member="Charlyra Araano"]

"The Order of Fire. That's the group Charlyra belongs to now," Eileithya brushed a stray lock of red hair from her face. "I have two younger sisters. Twins," she added when Myrra spoke of it being difficult to connect with a sister she barely knew.

"One is an Angelii. We're very close. The other is a scientist. I am...not close to her at all. We live in different worlds and speak a different language. I regret not making more of an effort to connect with her." Beyond that, she also deeply worried about [member="Elanil Saedaris"] getting herself in trouble one day - in this world or the next.

"So bonding with Lyra won't be easy, but you have a chance. Perhaps you'll find you have more things in common than you realise." She saw Myrra arise and so she got up, too.

"It's no bother, dear. I shall accompany you. I'm more than a little hungry myself. Fortunately, Eldorai food is quite substantial!" The Space Elves had a very fast metabolism, after all. With a swirl of her robes, she stepped out of the room, waiting for Myrra to follow before she guided her down to where the cantina lay. Meanwhile, a Firemane nurse would monitor Charlyra, in case her condition changed.

Tempest

Storm of the Force
[member="Elpsis Elaris"] [member="Symara Tarriq"] [member="Makai Dashiell"]

Tempest smirked and nudged Elpsis. “Oh, I might get a few nibbles in, but it wouldn’t be the most nutritious meal!” she said. Anything more would have to stay silent for fear of corrupting the kiddies.

She was sitting near to Makai and gave him a knowing wink.
“There’s plenty of other space slugs in the asteroid field!” she said encouragingly. “Grab your dad’s credit chip and show your girl a good time if you get to see her. Women love it when you treat them like queens.”

She frowned. That might explain why so many of the Firemane and Eldorai female/female relationships were so tempestuous. A brief moment of reflection about herself and Elpsis.

“Major, a pleasure to meet you in person,” she said to Lavali. “The Yazgid APCs will prevent this happening again,” she added. “Faster, better armoured and equipped with repulsorlifts, they’ll make the job much easier.”

“I tested out a Yazgid myself when it was in trials. It’s got good handling and a strong punch for dealing with enemies. When we find ourselves fighting an enemy again I know it’ll be useful.”

She looked last to Symara. “I’m glad that you were there for extraction. But I’m even more glad that you survived your first major combat with us mostly intact.”

Poor Makai would just have to endure, at least until he met Ellie again! Naturally Elpsis just had to make bad quips. "So I'm your queen, huh?" she asked Tempest innocently and nuzzled the older woman's neck. "Good thing for you I'm a lot less demanding than Sio, babe." This was the moment where it was best to agree.

"You still need to meet my mother. Oh, and Step-Mum. She hates it when I call her that." Elpsis did not like Kaida much. However, the dour Seraph was very easy to troll because she kept getting flustered whenever [member="Coryth Elaris"] was around.

"The Yazgid's fun. You can even fire through the ports, Mara. If it's not going super fast, that is!" She leaned closer against Tempest. "Mara and I kicked arse on Corellia. Beat up a ton of Sith." She tactfully left out the fact that Symara had almost died then. Same applied to her own very painful encounter with a childhood friend who'd gone Sith. That was not dinner table conversation.

"Ok. I'm starvin'. Should go see Lyra later. Check up on her. Makai, if you stick around, you can meet Lacey." The raptor or the adult holovid star? In any case, Elpsis stared at what lay in front of her. She was a novice to seeing with the Force and could only perceive things with a concrete aura, which plates, knives, forks and her glass obviously did not have. Tentatively, she reached out and tried to find her glass.

[member="Tempest"] | [member="Elpsis Elaris"] | [member="Symara Tarriq"]

"I have my own cred chip..." Taking [member="Myra Elspeth"] out wasn't a bad idea. There were some logistical issues with the situation. Not to mention Ellie didn't seem like the fancy dinner and flowers type. In theory, he could try it out and play everything by ear. Worst Ellie could do would be to punch him again and walk out.

Makai snorted with a touch of laughter at the thought of Tempest having to meet the parents. Lucky for him, he and Ellie had been friends for years. [member="Danger Arceneau"] was like a mother to him, even attending some of his school functions. Her Dad on the other hand...

"I'll be sticking around for another day. Ellie is meeting me back home so I won't be around for too long. Just enough to annoy you. As for meeting Lacey, why do you have an adult holofilm star locked away? Probably in your basement....which.....I am a little concerned about."

Watching Elpsis struggle, Makai grabbed his butter knife and reached across the table, gently scooting the glass towards her hand without a word.

Tegaea smiled at Alize. “I understand my wife has been giving you some training. She’s very good at that, I understand.”
For once this was not innuendo, but genuine.

Nima came to sit with them and Tegaea gave the purple Twi’lek another nod. “I made sure we had a wide variety of things on the buffet. I hope there was something for you?” she asked anxiously. She wanted to be a good host after all.

HK was there too. He was a curious thing. Tegaea did not feel much love towards the eccentric droid, but he was on their side and a good business partner.
“HK, thank you for your assistance above Castameer. And welcome back to the galaxy as well,” she said politely.

Harmony gave Joza a flirtatious smile. "And you, Jozie, darling! How's the dance studio going? I heard it's just opened on the station!"

Tegaea smiled at Joza. "Can I get you a drink, Joza?" she asked politely.

[member="Nima Tann"], [member="Joza Perl"], [member="Tegaea Alcori"], [member="Alize Rosenheim"], [member="HK-36"]

"Yes, you were talking to yourself. Don't worry, it's kind of cute. But you really worry too much," having said her piece, she went along with Nima. It seemed her wife had acquired quite a crowd. Ice trotted along and didn't steal anyone's food or scare nobles.

"Hey there, being the model hostess again?" Siobhan asked cheerfully, pulling Tegaea into a kiss. She saved the endless 'I love you's for when they were in private. "Hello, Alize, glad you could make it. How are you, dear?" Siobhan had been given the young woman some training and, yes, this was no innuendo. She felt rather protective of her.

Joza was next. "Good to see you, too, Joza," then she frowned when she looked at the Zeltron. "You've either had a big appetite...or didn't listen to my lecture about safe sex." Had she given her one? Probably not.

Construction work continued on the Wyyrlok. The ship's somewhat alien design made it quite easy to make modifications. For obvious reasons, internal defences were a very big concern, despite the fact that any Star Destroyer ought to have a substantial contingent of marines to protect it.

Then again, those tended to be NPCs, and thusly often found themselves discriminated against. Regardless, internal defences would be bolstered by the installation of ray shields and turret-mounted rotary shattercannons. Moreover, sections of the ship could be sealed off and vented, allowing the defenders to flood them with gas. This was not a very pleasant method, but a case could be made that attempting to board a Tygaran Alliance warship and steal or sabotage it was impolite enough to merit its use.

The ship's armour plating could be reinforced with Echani graphite. The same applied to the blast doors and walls in critical sections of the warship, such as the reactor and the bridge. The baseline Wyyrlok was already a tank, able to soak up a massive amount of damage thanks to possessing stacked armour that allowed it to stand up to the hypervelocity canon that were so popular these days.

Speaking of the bridge, the Wyyrlok's original designers had made the unorthodox but smart decision to hide it within the ship itself, instead of building an impractical, exposed bridge tower. It was always embarrassing when your proud warship died just because a single starfighter rammed your bridge.

Joza grinned brightly at Harmony, clutching her little evening bag with both hands in front of her. “Very well, thank you! I never thought I’d be able to expand all that much, but Lady Kerrigan gave me an excellent opportunity to. I’m already looking into a few new locations for future developments.” Her smile widened even moreso, if possible. Heartbeat started off as a little project for Joza to share her passion and make a couple extra credits, but she certainly wasn’t displeased in how her company was growing. “You should stop by sometime, Harmony. I’ll give you some free lessons.” Was a wink appropriate here? At a fancy party like this? Regardless, Joza winked.

Turning towards Tegaea, Joza returned her smile, though her own was a bit feebler at her request. “Is it possible for me to get a glass of water, please?” She asked sweetly, hoping that she wasn’t imposing on Kerrigan’s wife. As if on cue, said redhead appeared through the crowds and was affectionately at Tegaea’s side. “Good to see you again as well, Lady Kerrigan. You look lovely as usual. And intimidating, as usual.” A playful wink accompanied her comment, noting the sharp crimson uniform she wore.

At the mention of her baby bump, Joza attempted to disarm Siobhan’s frown with another smile. “You mean the part where I’m only supposed to sleep with women?” Patting her stomach, she smoothed the fabric of the dress over her bump. As excited as she was becoming, sometimes the Zeltron missed her flat stomach and was afraid that she’d stretch all of her crop tops like this. “Sorry to disappoint, but it’s a boy.” She added in, her voice still playful and her smile still present.

"Yes, she has. Her guidance was invaluable," Alize returned Lady Alcori's smile as she thought about the progress she had made with Countess Kerrigan during their session. Filled with a series of small achievements, the Epicanthix-hybrid was proud of each, and every one. Those achievements, they were her achievements - the first she had ever earned by her own right.

"Hello Countess, thank you for the invitation," she said, maintaining her smile when she heard the woman address her after greeting her lovely wife. "I'm doing quite well, thank you for asking," Alize replied, clearly happy to see her again.

Although she had been nervous at first, Countess Kerrigan's familiar face helped ease her anxiety a little from being in the presence of so many important new people. Still a bit shy, the young woman listened quietly as the other women spoke, unsure of what to say. She did not think herself a very interesting person, and was unsure what she could contribute to the conversations.

"Order of Fire?" Myrrashai repeats as they walk toward the cantina, "interesting title." She doesn't contemplate on the name too much, instead she directs her attention to Eileithya. Listening as the Priestess speaks of her siblings. "I often wonder what life would be like had Yuna, Charlyra and myself grown up together." She already mentioned it but it still weighs on her.

"Yuna was certainly more cautious of the two of us, wiser," She knew how it felt to speak to your sibling and feel as if you were speaking two completely different languages. "I believe I've heard of these Angelii before would you care to elaborate for me?"

"And perhaps you are right," she says as they cross into the cantina, "perhaps Charlyra and I will find that we more things in common than we realise now."

A soft pause, "thank you for accompanying me, although I'm afraid I must ask for you help again as I am a stranger in a strange land and haven't a clue as to what is good here."

[member="Tarissa Cadalthor"]

Lavali and Symara turned toward the conversations while eating their meals, the Major gave a nod toward Master [member="Tempest"] and added, "and I am making note of this, so we are not trudging through the snow, but honestly, Mara it we still did alright."

"Yeah if you skip the part where the Mandalorians were able to beat us to the Citadel," Symara gives Lavali a look, Lavali rolls her eyes and continues to dig into her meal, "but you're right we got there and I was able to make it for the extraction team."

Lavali nodded, "we," she corrects with a grin, "we got up to the tower and mowed down Sith until Master [member="Nima Tann"] and [member="Elpsis Elaris"]."

"We, that's right, you on the guns and Halifax shouting on comms," Symara gives a weary smile, "leap of faith with this one." She nods toward Elpsis, "made it back, mostly in one piece."

The two pause as Elpsis speak and they watch as [member="Makai Dashiell"] gently slides the glass toward the redhead. Neither one say anything and adds, "oh Corellia, yeah that was a trip and a half - barely made it out of that scrape too, but yeah we'll have to test those Yazgids out see how they make due with the CorSec Rifle."

"Yeah we should see about getting that looked at, maybe Firemane can work with it?" Lavali suggests, "pretty sure there's plenty of old Corellian tech that can be looked at."

Symara nods, "oh yeah," she sits back in her seat, "a lot that can be worked on."

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Nima Tann"],

The droid looked way from the canine anomaly, stopping the mudslinging match about their mother equivalents before things would escalate any further,

bG5sZ5x.gif

There was time and place for everything and surely the wolf and the droid would have a meeting by bike-racks after school soon enough, be there or be square.

Either way,

HK nodded to [member="Tegaea Alcori"] in thanks,

"Thanks Tegs,"

The droid loved Tegs, he couldn't get enough of her,

"Although I do not know how long I will be around before another deactivation, these are fairly uneventful times outside of the whole another doomsday device."

All Tegs, all the time, 24/7 Tegs and HK,

"How have you been?"

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"], [member="Joza Perl"],

"You've either had a big appetite...or didn't listen to my lecture about safe sex."

“You mean the part where I’m only supposed to sleep with women?”

The machine gave out a metallic groan, rolling his head since he couldn't do it with his photoreceptors. How he wished he could bail on the conversation, but for once he wasn't wearing his chameleon cloak or an armor with a jetpack in it. Nope, he was already committed to it and stuck there,

"There is nothing about your sexual habits that can be qualified as 'safe'"

HK spoke with from experience, usual every time he was spending time alongside Sio there was some sort of innuendo being made or sexual information revealed that he did not wish to learn, or got a look at her bed habits, sometimes it was all so quite literally right in his face. That time came to mind when Sio got him to go to a night club for some reason and then convinced some plant lady to grind on the droid.

He would look back to Tegs, who he adored, she was so adorable with her face, and her hair,

"Sio told me that I can talk to you about having Abregado join the Tygaran Alliance you have going on."

[member="Charlyra Araano"]

"Your Yuna sounds like a wise woman. I've often wondered the same about my sisters. I was...away from my people for most of their youth." Well, she'd be taken as a slave, succumbed to evi and become a tyrant on a far away planet, before the Goddes humbled her and gave her a second chance.

They walked down the corridor and reached the cantina. At this time, it wasn't that packed, so they'd be served soon. Eileithya chuckled a bit as they found a space. "I'm sure I can steer through you the uncertain waters of Eldorai cuisine. The menu's in Basic, a lot of the food is the same as in any human cantina. The Eldorai stuff has more calories because we have a high metabolism. The Ghoush spice strip is very nice. Just...rather hot and spicy."

"As for your question, the Angelii are my people's best soldiers. Blessed by the Goddess with a portion of her power, these warrior women dedicate their life to fighting our enemies and protecting the Queen, Ashira's viceroy upon this world. They're a lot more martial than the typical Jedi and organised like a military corps with tight discipline. All Angelii are sisters in spirit."

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
As they arrived to the table where 3 ladies were having a chat, after HK and Ice had their small disagreement for some reason since Nima didn't pay that much attention, banters were had between Sio and her wife, which made Nima smile since it was a nice change from chaos and destruction! "Everything looks great, thank you. I am sure I'll find something to eat." Nima said with a reassuring nod, answering Tegaea's question. As for meeting new faces, well, she considered herself lucky since one of the ladies, the Zeltron that Nima believed she saw her from time to time in the Temple, started to talk with Sio. She had no idea what they were talking about, but probably it was an embarrassing one since it included "safe sex" so she would just make things awkward!

Staying out of the banter for now, she found herself a salad plate and she would enjoy a salad right now, but, uhh, would that be awkward if she just ate food and stood silent? Probably. She would be uncomfortable with a total stranger who suddenly appeared at the table and started to eat food without saying anything. "Uhhm... hey. I am Nima. How... are you?" She said to the girl who stood silent and listened the conversations as well. Wow, that was embarrassing! One would find out immediately that Nima had the shy walls on. Well, it was until you get to know her, then she would become more relaxed. But it was accurate to say that she would really prefer being in a battlefield right now! Remember, you are worrying too much!

Meanwhile Ice was not shy at all and already very excited to meet new people, wagging his tail crazily. He moved in a playful expression towards his new friends and started to sniff them. Next step would be begging people to pet his head!

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] [member="Tegaea Alcori"] [member="Alize Rosenheim"] [member="Joza Perl"] [member="HK-36"]

"She was," Myrrashai answered as she slid into her seat opposite of Eileithya, "like wise." She takes a look at the menu before looking at the Priestess again. "Jedi are taken from their families at a young age to train, my sister and I were taken to the Academy on Coruscant."

There was a smile as Eilethiya chuckled, "I'd appreciate it," she gave a chuckle of her own, "well hot and spicy I can handle." Myrrashai clears her throat and presses on with the conversation, "good - Jedi Shadows tend to consume a lot of calories maintaining our stealth." She continued to flip through the menu and asked, "what about teas, what do you recommend for teas, here?"

"They have my utmost respect," Myrra said of the Angelii, "one can always appreciate the work of military women."

[member="Tarissa Cadalthor"]

[member="Charlyra Araano"]

"The Miruvor is quite good. Always helps keep me awake," Eileithya pointed at the beverage on the menu. "I'm not as active in the field as I used to be, but I work closely with the Angelii. It's tradition that Priestesses minister to them, train their medics, provide spiritual and emotional support. I'm not a warrior, but I can do my part to support our fighting girls."

There was also a less benign side, for the clerics also acted as Commissars. In the past, they'd possessed sweeping powers to discipline and even execute 'heretical' Angelii. However, this cruel practice had been abolished and so now they were morale officers.

"Here with the Eldorai, all Sciians, or Force-users, must undergo training to control their powers. After that's done, they're free to get on with their lives, but they're monitored to make sure they don't abuse the Goddess' flame. The Angelii recruit those with an aptitude for combat. Their numbers were thinned by the Exodus, so they've turned to conscription for now."

The atmosphere in the cantina was warm, with a sense of pleasantry. Myrrashai listened as Eileithya discussed the Sciians and Angelii. Someone came by to take their orders, the former Shadow ordered Miruvor and the Ghoush Spice Strip as recommended by the Priestess. "Old worlds like Chandrila are in the belief that if you are gifted in the force then you should be trained as a Jedi, lest you fall to the darkside and become Sith." She took a breath, "an old aged belief in a two-party system as it were."

"Our parents are farmers for all intents and purposes and thought their god had blessed them with three gifted daughters." A sad smile now perched on her lips, "but these Sciians, tell me more about them," a pause, "I'm interested in learning about your culture." It seemed more interesting and intriguing than the culture of the Jedi that she knew of. Eileithya was a pleasure to listen to and Myrra enjoyed her company. The older Araano sibling still thought of her younger sister who still rested in the hospital.
