Witches and Wyyrloks (Tygara)

[member="Alize Rosenheim"], [member="Tegaea Alcori"], [member="Tempest"], [member="HK-36"]

Harmony gave the shy noblewoman an encouraging smile. The ebony skinned, darkhaired beauty had served the Firemane couple for a long time. Though an incorrigible troll when the situation called for it, she was also rather empathic.

"Thank you, dear," she said pleasantly. If Alize did not remember her name, then Harmony had either not noticed or not taken offence. "Your nose does not deceive you. Lady Kerrigan gave me a bottle as a present. It's a beautiful scent."

She turned around and beckoned Alize to follow her. The Firemane guard, a tall, muscular Zabrak who seemed to be of the tough and stoic amazon variety, fell in line along with them. "Come with me, my lady. We don't have to walk far. Lady Kerrigan, her wife Lady Alcori and many other members of Firemane are already there. I can introduce them to you." Thusly, she escorted Alize down a few corridors until they reached the tastefully opulent, luxurious hall where the celebrations seemed to have started.

"The lovely Twi'lek over is [member="Nima Tann"]. She's a former Jedi. Bit shy, but a sweetheart and brave. That big wolf is hers. Don't be afraid, he's harmless...just an overgrown, hyper puppy. The droid is HK-36. He's a bit of a diva, but nice in an eccentric way. He and Siobhan blow things up a lot," she pointed to the two.

"The two black girls are [member="Symara Tarriq"] and Tempest. They're both warriors with Firemane. Mara is wicked with a sniper rifle, Tempest blasts bad guys with lightning a lot. The redhead between them who's making bedroom eyes at both is [member="Elpsis Elaris"]. She's kind of Siobhan's niece. The kid who's sending emails is [member="Makai Dashiell"]. He's the son of a good family friend," she indicated tadpole before her eyes fell upon redhead in a fancy corporate suit. "Oh, and last but no least, that's Tegaea Alcori. The other half of the Firemane power couple."

[She's blind but still annoying. I think she might make it. ] Makai grinned at his own joke. He wasn't trying to make light of Elpsis' condition but it really could have been worse. He was happy enough just to have her alive, well, and continuing to be a pain in his scale-speckled behind.

[You can? Thats great! Been wanting to take you out to this restaurant. Interested?]

Just as he was finishing up typing, his 'big sister' started to annoy him about his messages to Ellie. Hitting send, Makai put the comm in his pocket now, not that Elpsis could see what he was typing anyways.

"Jealous? I could start sending some to you too. I have a feeling you're going to end up breaking my heart and rejecting me anyways."

He joined the throngs headed into the buffet, making sure to avoid the giant wolf. He still was uneasy about the thing. Looked as if it could eat him without thinking twice. He stuck close to the lovebirds Elpsis and Tempest, despite the nauseating lovefest that was going on between them.

The downside to maternity clothes was that you couldn’t wear them all the time. The upside to maternity clothes was, of course, shopping. So when Joza received an invitation from [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] concerning the celebration of Ashira’s Light, she did what any good Zeltron did: she bought a cute dress and made her way towards the provided coordinates.

Seeing as how Heartbeat had established its newest location on Ashira’s Light, Joza was escorted by three female dancers—a pair of green skinned Twi’leks and a violet haired Zeltron women. The little group seemed excited to be here, moving towards the buffet as they chatted away. Their attire was less than conservative, but not overly sexual this time around.

“Behave yourselves. We’re guests here. Don’t drink too much.” Joza had already taken it upon herself to scold them a bit, knowing how heavily these girls partied. Somehow, the pregnant Zeltron already managed to procure a plate of appetizers for herself. “And don’t lose your shoes this time, or so help me I will put you all on cleaning duty for the next month.” Patting her stomach, she flicked her hand to shoo the girls away into the crowds to mingle if they chose to. Joza herself was more than content to satisfy her growing hunger.

Myrrashai slumped in the chair, her eyes were vacant as the Priestess talked. All she could think about was Yuna, and as her eyes fell to Charlyra they stirred with tears. A hand to her mouth as the former Shadow kept her tears as quiet as possible. Yuna's words to her, and her promise to Yuna, "find Charlyra and protect her for I have failed to do this, I have failed to protect us." Myrrashai knew that as a Jedi she should not have emotions and she should have parted with them years ago, but in that moment all she wanted, "Yuna-unni no, you can survive please you have to, you have to make it... Yuna? Yuna!" She had become one with the Force, and Myrra held her older sister's lifeless body. She clung to the Guardian's robe and held her close, swearing that any and all Sith would pay for her sister's death and that was the day she turned away from the order.

Revenge was not in the code of the Jedi and even as a Shadow, it was beyond their call. Her nostrils flare with emotion as her eyes look to Charlyra again, she could not fail Yuna. Myrra jerked a little when she felt the Priestess's hand. "I failed her," she whispers, "I failed them both." Closing her eyes softly, the tears spill across her cheeks. "I promised Yuna I would find her, and that I would watch over her, just as I had promised mother that I would care for Yuna but," Myrra shook her head. Sucking a breath the Shadow steeled herself, "thank you." She manages and wipes the tears from her eyes with the back of her hand. Myrra gave the redheaded woman a nod and answered her earlier question, "Shadows are supposed to be shadows, we're in the dark - watching, waiting, it's a hard life to break."

"A hero's strength is not measured by their physical prowess or even their skill in battle, they are measured by the strength of their heart," she says as her eyes appear vacant again, "Yuna told me that when I was just an initiate, I had gotten into a fight with a few others. I was trying to prove myself, Charlyra's no different. We're always trying to prove that we're this, this big thing and... we don't have to."

Tempest

Storm of the Force
[member="Elpsis Elaris"] [member="Charlyra Araano"] [member="Nima Tann"] [member="Alize Rosenheim"] @HK36 [member="Makai Dashiell"]

This trolling would not go unanswered, Tempest was certain of that. Once Elpsis was fully recovered and ready Mistress Tempest would seek satisfaction for this.

Regardless, she took Elpsis to the buffet. She knew her lover could perceive things through the Force, but wasn’t sure yet how it applied to writing or organic matter like food. So, in order not to embarrass or make her feel helpless she walked with her and read out the names of each dish as they passed.

“Tadpole’s got a girlfriend? Who knew, huh? I hope she’s into scales!”

Ice was bouncing around still, but had been calmed down by Siobhan. Tempest had been amused to see the Eldorai noblewoman get inconvenienced.

“Let’s find a table. Anyone you want to sit with?”

[member="Tarissa Cadalthor"] [member="Joza Perl"] [member="Alize Rosenheim"]

Tegaea watched the chaos around her with an air of amusement. She saw her wife calming down the excitable Ice, saw the groups moving to the buffet and table.
“Anything I can do, Mistress?” Aela asked, materialising beside her. The Eldorai was an informal maid, servant and secretary, as well as staffing the Lady’s Haven at times.
“Get me some stuff from the buffet, and whatever you want as well. You know what I like,” she said with a nod. It wasn’t that she thought it was beneath her to do this but it was a better use of her time to have someone else to do it for her.

She caught sight of Harmony with a pretty young girl. She frowned, but then remembered, and she approached.
“Lady, this is Alize Rosenheim. She was invited here by Lady Kerrigan.”
“A pleasure to meet you, Alize. Siobhan has spoken highly of you and your boutique. Please, take a seat with us, my wife should be back soon once she’s finished wrangling wolves.”

She caught sight of Joza as well, and sent Harmony to fetch the Zeltron too and bring her over once she’d gotten what she wanted from the buffet. It seemed a common trait that all the women present had large appetites. For food and usually other things too.

Alize followed the servant girl down the corridors, and into the beautiful banquet hall where celebrations had already commenced. The Epicanthix-hybrid smiled gratefully as the dark beauty pointed out the members of Firemane accompanied by a quick introduction of each one.

"Thank you," she smiled appreciatively once the girl had finished her introductions as Lady Alcori approached the pair.

"No, the pleasure is all mine Lady Alcori," Alize smiled stiffly, slightly flustered by the woman's approach, her cheeks flushing a rosy colour.

Though she was a veteran of such events, this was the first one she had attended by herself, not in the company of a partner, or her eagled eyed grandparents who used to watch her like a hawk, and so, it was not odd for her to feel nervous, and a bit overwhelmed.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
It didn't take long for something to go wrong as the huge wolf ran towards the food and the sound of broken things echoed through the hall, along with the pissed off voices. Exact opposite of what Nima wanted, so she rushed her steps to the scene to see what happened preparing herself for the worst, as fast as someone who had many wounds. When she arrived, well, the view was what she expected. Tray and glasses broken and scattered on the ground, food and drinks spilled everywhere, a pissed off Eldorai noble walking away probably cursing on her way and people looking at their direction to see what was happening. After giving Ice a cold gaze, who was sitting in an obedient way and looking at Sio and then Nima, head down with the guilty dog look, which he probably understood what he did was wrong.

Then she turned to Sio, with her usual apologetic expression. "I am so, so sorry Sio. I... uhh... I can pay for the damage he caused. Should I apologize to her too? Normally he isn't like that, he is just excited because of the crowd and... I should go apologize to her." She said quickly, Sio would know she was panicking because of the unnecessary attention that Ice brought. Headache hit as she panicked. "I am sorry." She repeated again. Wonders of being protected by the Walls of Shyness!

Symara found herself being led by the hand, "so I'm guessing that I'll be sitting with you, Red." She says as they reach the buffet, and the lieutenant gives Major Sanjeet a look, "would you be so kind?" A pause, "my hands are full at the moment." Between the cane and Elpsis, yep, Symara's hands were quite full.

Lavali sighed and managed to get food for both of them, "should I leave the three of you alone?"

"Please, you're my helper you sit with me, too." Symara then batted her eyelashes and chuckled at Lavali's eyeroll. "Oh c'mon now, you know you'll enjoy it."

"I suppose," she resigned, "and if I am then shouldn't you introduce me?"

"Mhmm?" Symara looked between [member="Elpsis Elaris"] and [member="Tempest"] and then went, "oh, yeah, Elpsis this is Major Lavali Sanjeet, Lavali this is Elpsis. Master Tempest, Major Sanjeet, Major this is Master Tempest, there we're all introduced now."

"Delighted to meet you both," and at least she was meeting Elpsis more formally and not in the back of a dropship escaping Castameer's doom.

Elpsis was so not complaining about being surrounded by pretty, older women in uniform. Hey, she was a hero or something like that, so she was permitted a few moments of lust-induced shallowness. "Say hi to Ellie from me. Makai, you're nice and stuff, but you're too young and you've got the wrong parts...and I don't mean the scales. So sorry, but things can't be that way between us," she snarked. Doubtless she was under the impression that she was being extremely witty.

She looked at Tempest. "Well, I could sit on your lap...but I don't think you'd get to eat anything then." Elpsis, your lines are awful. Anyhow, with Tempest's help, she managed to figure out what she wanted and soon her plate was filled, after releasing Mara's hand. Perhaps it was possible to perceive writing or organic matter through the Force, but firemane could not do that yet, so she was grateful for the support.

"Yes, Mara, you're totally sitting with us. Don't be shy. We're buddies, aren't we?." Who knew I had to go blind to get all the attention, the redhead wondered. Mara's boss was cute. "Nice to meet you, Major. Heard you guys blew up chit on 'Mere." Eventually, they found a space, after Elpsis almost slipped on spilt wine.

While almost everyone else was at the party, Charlyra's sister was having an emotional moment with the Eldorai Priestess and Elpsis was proving once again that her pickup lines were as corny as a maize field, work was proceeding on the Wyyrlok.

Alas, the anonymous NPC armies of workers and labour droids did not get a day off today. Talk of trade unions was suppressed, for it had been labelled heretical. The last part was a joke. Well, mostly. Anyhow, by now the Colossus Reactor had been installed without issue, which meant the worker teams could move on to the Aegis Molecular Shielding.

The Wyyrlok was a masterpiece, but the leviathan had been built many years ago and would have to be brought up to modern standards, for warfare was an ever evolving art. Those who rested on their laurels and did not adapt got trampled on. Moreover, the entire warship needed to be cleaned. [member="Elincia Alanis"] would be very occupied today.

"Heartbroken and rejected. I knew it was going to happen."

Makai got to follow the trio of women through the buffet lines. How a blind Elpsis was figuring out which women were the 'older, hot ones in uniform' were beyond him. Perhaps the other ones were describing them down to detail. Which he would find more than amusing to be honest. It didn't seem eyesight was going to stop her from ogling women.

He kept silent, joining them at the table. There wasn't reason to talk. He was hungry and the ladies surrounding him were chattering about things he had little to no knowledge in.

"Yuna was a wise woman with a good heart. A hero's strength lies not in magical powers or in how many monsters she's slain, but in her heart. 'Blessed are the righteous, the champions of the just'. Yuna is gone..and that leaves a void. People say 'time heals all wounds', but that's nonsense. They only become less raw, but never vanish."

Eileithya was a very gentle woman, unless she faced injustice such as oppression and slavery, so her heart went out to the former Shadow. "But she lives on in your heart. And one day you'll see her again. Remember the good she did," she urged. "And Charlyra is not lost to you. She will recover, and you can make up for the time you did not have with her. To break with your old life is difficult, Ashira knows, but you're not alone in the shadows."

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Elpsis Elaris"], [member="Makai Dashiell"], [member="Nima Tann"], [member="Tempest"],

Back when Elpsis and HK were having a sarcasm match he was about to retort with something, surely cutting, before Siobhan took his attention,

"I did try to act like the beings my age and be dead, but, again, you took my coffin and dropped it on a Sith. It is not my fault you knocked few things loose in my behavior unit, remember what happened the last time you dropped a building on me?"

Somehow Sio managed to activated PMS protocols in the droid, every month for a while he would become very aggressive and dramatic for about a week, like an adolescent Sith. At young Dashiell's threat of deactivating the droid he didn't say anything, he calculated it wasn't the best timing for a lobotomy or castration joke, he did however begun to formulate an elaborate and long-term plan to start stealing Makai's socks so that it would become increasingly difficult for him to find matching pairs.

[member="Joza Perl"],

Either way,

Since the droid could not really enjoy a buffet he went along with Sio to deal with the noblewoman, Ice, and Nima, just kind of standing there while the two had a chat about reparations for damages.

He looked down at Ice obediently sitting there, the wolf gave out a soft bark,

"Bork~"

"You have something to say Ice?"

The wolf-creature gave out a grumble, and whine,

"For your information my mother-unit was a saint."

At the sight of someone familiar—namely, Harmony—Joza lit up and waved to the woman. “Harmony! It’s good to see you again. You’re looking lovely this evening.” She wasted no time embracing the other woman, which was a bit awkward given the baby bump and balancing the plate of food in one hand. Her dancers were forgotten, likely off socializing and making friends. And not making fools of themselves. Hopefully.

Her head twisted towards the large wolf apparently conversing with a droid and she smiled. The wolf seemed familiar—she’d seen him around [member="Nima Tann"] before, but right now couldn’t place a name to the furry face. And the droid? No idea, sadly. Poor [member="HK-36"]

Following Harmony’s lead, she drifted towards another redhead in the company of a petite brunette. Siobhan had mentioned her wife, [member="Tegaea Alcori"] before, but this would be the first time Joza would meet her. As she approached, she nodded politely to her and [member="Alize Rosenheim"] in greeting before slipping an introduction in. “My, you both look divine! Joza Perl, Heartbeat House.” She tilted her head, lashes fluttering just a bit as she offered a polite smile.

[member="Nima Tann"], [member="HK-36"], [member="Tegaea Alcori"]

"Nima, calm down. Breathe in, breathe out," Siobhan urged her gently. Seeing the Twi'lek go into panic mode, she held her close, reaching out with her hand to gently soothe her by stroking an uninjured portion of her lekku.

In this particular case, the gesture was not sensual in the least, but comforting. "You worry too much, sweetie. I don't blame you, ok? Besides, that woman was kind of a queen and, seriously, her dress was so last year. You worry too much. You helped thrash a Sith armada. Last thing you need to do is get worried about some aristo getting her knickers in a twist. Here, drink this," she levitated a glass of water that happened to be close to the Twi'lek. She held on to the glass as she brought it to Nima's lip, just in case there was a risk of spilling. "You agree with me, don't you, Iron?"

She heard HK having a chat with Ice, who was looking contrite and obedient. He'd been naughty. "You wanna go sit with Tegs and me, Nima?" The Countess noticed that [member="Joza Perl"] and [member="Alize Rosenheim"] had arrived, which made her smile. They seemed to be becoming acquainted with her wifey. The Zeltron looked a bit bigger in certain areas.

Myrra was silent as the Priestess spoke, the former Jedi Shadow's elbows touched her knees as her hands pressed against her lips. "Yuna was a Guardian, always first to talk things out while I was busy figuring out how to strike them down," she lets out a light scoff as she sat up in her chair. Looking over to her younger sister, "when I leared that this one was a Knight, I chuckled."

"Quick to strike, quick to defend a Jedi Knight is a warrior bound to her code, bound to the force and the order." A sigh, "one of each, the diplomat, the spy and the fighter. I digress." Myrra was rambling and she knew it, "thank you." She says to the Priestess, and while she did not worship Ashira or anything really. She appreciated Eileithya's time and patience. "But you're right, time doesn't heal - I can still feel Yuna's passing as if it was just a few moments ago."

Charlyra's eyes move, she's stirring in her REM sleep. "I wonder what she's dreaming about, or who she's dreaming about I should say." Myrra knew of Charlyra's past, "she's probably the first of the three of us to have left the order so young.."

[member="Tarissa Cadalthor"]

"Yes, we did - but that was all artillery," Lavali told Elpsis softly as they took a sat at the table with her, "we were all marching through the snow lugging our equipment to the citadel and the Mandalorians beat us to it."

Symara held her finger in the air, "because someone didn't think the snow would be that much of a problem and decided against bringing the APCs."

Lavali shook her head, "okay first of all, first of all."

"No, no, don't you first of all me. You pulled me from Corellia to come to Abyss knows where to march through the dang snow, okay, the least, the least you could've done is gotten some APCs so I could've shot someone, like actually shoot, but now - Symara go scout ahead!"

Lavali dug her fork into her plate and only laughed at Symara's recollection, "okay," she waited until she finished her food, "next time we'll get the APCs but I don't wanna hear you complain that we're moving too fast for you to shoot things."

Symara laughed and then looked at Elpsis with a smile, "yeah we're friends, or at least I'd hope so after Corellia and Castameer."

[member="Charlyra Araano"]

Myrra was rambling a bit, but the Priestess didn't mind. She was a patient, gentle woman by nature. "Most of what I know of the Yedai comes from Siobhan and [member="Coryth Elaris"]. The Angelii are the Eldorai's guardians. The heavenly and wrathful angels of the Goddess Ashira. Fierce, relentless, unyielding, sworn to duty unto death. Well, now we have the Order of Flame as well."

She glanced towards Charlyra, who stirred slightly in her REM sleep. "I imagine she may be dreaming of a certain Mirialan." Eileithya knew bits and pieces of Charlyra's past through Siobhan and @Tempest. "So you left the order? You don't have to speak about it if you'd rather not." There was no accusation in her tone. After all, Siobhan and Coryth had done the same. Eileithya's impression of the Jedi orders wasn't high, but she was rigid in her thinking than the Countess.

Myrrashai nodded, "perhaps." She had discovered that much about her sister before their reunion on Morellia. The Priestess asked about the order, rather - more specifically that she had left. And she had, that much was true and certain, "indeed." She shifts her weight in the chair, "up until recently I acted as a sentienel for them from the shadows but as such, I must have no contact with the outside world. I am secluded bound to my oath and my duty to the Order."

"But I needed to find my sister and fulfill my promise," she gave a look with her lips pushed to the side, "and to do that, I could not be a Jedi - at least not one of the Order." She shifted again, Myrrashadi had obtained the rank of Knight and had been a knight for at least the last seven years if not longer. "And I met with Charlyra on Morellia, but I did not accompany her to her next destination." Which had been Dahomey... "Perhaps I should have."
