The Turbulent II Class Pocket Star Destroyer is an upgraded variant of the Turbulent-Class Star Destroyer utilized by the former Imperial Remnant. Designed by both Loymière Shipwright and the Empire as a proper replacement for the aging New Imperial I Star Destroyer currently in use within the Empire's Vast Navy. Although considerably smaller than the New Imperial I by a total of 600 Meters, the Pocket Star Destroyer is meant to follow a new line of naval theory that smaller ships of the cruiser and frigate line will come to dominate the battlefield after the closure of the Second Great Hyperspace War.
