DESCRIPTION

The Milvayne-Class Heavy Destroyer was made following the traditional wedge shape design utilized by The Ancient Galactic Republic; Galactic Empire; and various other imperial remnants across the galaxy. The Association utilized remnants of Galactic Empire Star Destroyers in order to reduce costs which means that much of the interior is designed to resemble a typical star destroyer. Following the invention of the Milvayne-Class Light Destroyer and its apparent weaknesses which made it unsuitable for engaging with heavier starship classes. The Heavy Destroyer was able to solve that issue with its heavier weaponries and armored hull. Although the vessel had to lose starfighter capacity and lost protection to it forward engine systems. The Chairman of the Milvayne Commercial Association was well aware that having a corporate fleet to defend their interests would raise some questions amongst the senate regarding another mass corporate faction springing up. However there was a small loophole in the fact that these vessels were built from antique ones which meant they were not regarded as modernized vessels but as historic ships from a past conflict.
