Tund Sorcery (Republic Dominion of Tund)

| @[member="Alachei Mnemenos"] | @[member="Rasu Gan"] |

"Sharu... Toka... The Rafa system... The legend of Mer..." He murmured, his fingers protruding around his forehead, arm rested upon the arm rest of the throne, his yellow eyes gleaming through the crevices created by the little, tiny stumps that protruded at the end of his hand. He was in control of the memories now, experiencing the same tale that the Sorcerers of Tund, the ones that had resurrected their order during the Four Hundred Year Darkness, had told about. Their legend was now his, but he sensed another, approaching, feeling their way through the darkness towards their hidden temple that he had discovered, breached and conquered in one fellow swoop.

Telepathically, he was a genius, the abilities that he had mastered, all belonging to the same set and he stretched his genius to mind of Alachei, the approaching would be inheritor of a cult that should be dead. "One approaches, that would claim knowledge already inherited, but would they show themselves to be worthy?"

Well, that was just dandy. The forest was aflame, the bathrobe brigade was...running? Calico honestly had no idea. The force wasn't really a friend of his--meaning it simply didn't work. All the soldier had to go off of was the frantic movements of the Jedi and a very happy group of pyromaniacs who really seemed to hate nature.

This is idiotic.

His rescuer had gone off to...well, he honestly had no idea at all. Retreating certainly seemed like the tactically sound choice. His armor could take more than a little fire, but chancing it still didn't bode well with him. Then, there was that strange woman with the pink blade--pink of all colors! Sucking in a deep breath, Calico crept off to the east; happily aware that the woman seemed to have forgotten him entirely. That made this a whole lot easier. He swept through the burning foliage with far more agility than one would think upon seeing his massive figure. A hope over a fallen tree here, crawling under a mass of burning leaves there--and then he'd found the perfect spot.

The bloodied corpse of one of the sorcerers was leaned over a rock about a meter tall. The hole in his chest cavity made the man easy to identify as one of Calico's first victims in this little skirmish. With a rough push, the corpse rolled down unto the ground; leaving only a sticky stain of still warm blood upon the rock face as a sign of where it had originally fell. The Commander set his rifle against a small nook in the rock; gritting his teeth as the lower half of the weapon scraped across the rough surface.

Should have packed a tripod you di'kut.

His twisted the D-M-R modification scope, and trailed the his view down at @[member="Alachei Mnemenos"]. She was interesting in more than a few ways. Why was she walking into the forested area, and not joining the other Jedi? Why did she seemingly go alone? It all sent a chill down Calico's spine. Part of his reason for being here was assessing the Jedi--and by extension, the Republic's-- strength. The burning of the forest was something to be frowned upon. Liberating a world by burning down a decent section of its forestry didn't bode well for the CIS's allies of justice and freedom. This would make for a colorful operational report when he finally made his way back to Bothuwai.

"Come on lady, get out of the forest." He mumbled to himself, leaving the helmet's speakers on. He really didn't care if anyone heard him now--not like anyone would likely find him anyway. the Jedi couldn't sense him, and they likely wouldn't be looking for him in the fire. Calico took in a deep breath, adjusted his helmet's live feed, and spied on his latest savior and whatever business she had planned. Hopefully the first woman, the green one, would be alright.

That one was a good lot.

Saki moved near Rasu, whatever was happening it onto served to make the necklace glow brighter under her clothing. With a small sneer though she listened to the one who had come and joined them talking about the temple and she remained quiet for now. Her own energy rolling off in waves of heat for a single purpose fighting here and now. Get the cure, beat some people up so they don't bother them again and everyone is happy. "Rasu lets just punch all of them and see who wants to be helpful."

Yinch scampered along useignthe force to give him speed. His tiny green legs pumped and he had to leap and dive to avoid falling trees and branches.

"A good time to be short this is not." He said to himself as he fought to catch up to the other Jedi.

"Move so quickly they do." He said as he slid in under a tree that had fallen in front of him and then he flipped over another.

"Ride the cat girl I should have!" He said finally catching up to the rest.

Nico Ike Qarmast

The Wayward of Clan Qarmast
Nico tapped the controls of the prototype ship she had been given. A smirk on her face while she went about. The news of an infection had startled her but it wasn't as bad as she had thought it would be. There was more at least she could do while going towards the area to meet the others. She wasn't worried about infection if it meant they could get back and cure the others which was why medical droids were being brought down with her. "Knight @[member="Rasu Gan"] I am incoming."

He followed after the other Jedi. He had taken part in the battle that had ensued, but not as large a part as he should have. He covered the back's of the other Jedi, and dealt with the Sorcerors as they came in form the flanks while the other Jedi fought them when they came in bulks. He picked off the would be destroyers who would attack from the blind sides.

And so he found himself chasing after the rest of them, and then he saw a green form in front of him, leaping over a fallen tree and he leaped over it too, following after the Jedi Padawan that he knew as Yinch of the Yoda Species. An interesting little creature.

And so he found himself with the rest of the group, his lightsaber hilt still in his hand and he said nothing, when he fell into line with them. Team Gan had recovered.

Kira Talith

OBJECTIVE: AVOID THE FALLING FIERY DEBRIS AS THE CANOPY FELL... Because Rasu wasn't the only one who stayed behind!

Clearly, these folks had some MAJOR desire to crowd the Mirialan knight and tug her several different ways. Must be the tattoos. Either way, apparently, fire soon spread as Vulpesen's forces did some massive damage with fire.. and all other kinds of rather interesting methods of 'neutralizing' their opponents that had her wondering just how quick to pull the TRIGGER these Jedi around her were.

Huh, no other options that may be, y'know, other than LETHAL?

Guess not.

Her time in the Protectorate in an undercover mission saw her accompanying die hard mercenaries who had no qualms about utilizing lethal force if necessary, but at the very least, she had thought that her own Jedi counterparts would follow.. some sort of appropriate use of force?

A knock out anti force user grenade. Maybe less fire and pew pew and more disabling the enemy. Instead of an aerial bombardment of FIRE.

In any event, Kira's own cloak was starting to pick up a couple of flames. Embers and all had a tendency to do that. "Oh firefek!" she uttered, dropping down from a tree right next to @[member="Rasu Gan"] , her cloak comically ending up being tossed to the ground as she pounded her foot to dose the fire. Not like that did much good.

"HI!" she told the crowd, waving a hand. "bye!"

"Time to run!!!!!!!!!!!"

A low rumbling sound echoed behind Yinch as she approached in her feline form, shaking herself free of debris from the collapsing jungle canopy. Mara shifted back into her human form, ignoring the scorched and painful flesh on her shoulder. Adrenaline was still keeping the worst of it at bay, which was a plus. She could have it tended to when they were back at camp and the cure beginning its work. Grinning down at her newfound green friend, she nodded. "Next time, you're more than welcome to, either in this form or as my feline self. Just remember to hang on...I move pretty fast in both shapes."

Fingers ran absently through her hair as she pulled it back over her shoulders, watching as bits of the jungle collapsed inward still. She winced at the destruction, in spite of knowing it was a necessary tactic. She hated to see such natural habitat destroyed...it would displace too many of the animals in the area who needed it to survive amidst the desolation.

With eyes still of a burnished gold and possessed of slitted pupils, she stared thoughtfully at the nearby Sorcerers. Mara shook her head and wiped away the blood from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand. "I think Knight Saki has the right idea. Reasonably sure that logic and reason are not going to help us in a timely enough manner."

"Nope nope nope nope." Yinch said as he heard the low rumbling from behind him. "My day this is not."

As he turned to see it was Mara he sighed and let his small shoulders slump with relief.

"Glad it is you I am." He said assuming a fighting stance, "thought I would have to hurt someone I did."

The little green being in the child sized suit then began looking around for targets.

Balaya moved more and let the small spell of concealment wash away, these sorcerers were an intriguing lot that might have secrets she could learn but more then that they had power and power was what mattered in the end for her, increasing her own to combat the jedi and tearing them apart first chance she got instead of just hiding in the mud. No she would fidn a way to walk among them and prepare for their destruction when the moment came but first why not attack and keep up the ragtag illusion of lost sith going around.

@[member="Syn"]

Iella had moved along side Syn as the ship began to move toward the planet. She had on her environmental suit ready to face the cultist. They had received the reports of the plague planet side, which change their plans considerably. The ship banked and landed in a clearing close to the main camp site. On board are more medical supplies for the healers and back up medical crew to give relief to tired personnel. They had included environmental suits for those without them and not infected.

The landing crew began to distribute the supplies and aid the many healers already stretched to the limits.

Iella walked down the ramp to set foot of this planet for the first time. She is protected from the plague thanks to her equipment, she looked around the camp site to see where her help was needed the most.

Syn gave a nod seeing Iella ready and waiting, he was working on getting prepared but he wasn't going to go down just yet, they had plenty of things that could be done before heading down to fight cultists. The cure Rasu was looking for would need to be worked for no doubt but here and now a smile came when he heard more reports about the work they were doing. He wouldn't discount knight Rasu in her mission for this but he still had to make sure they were helped as he spoke. "Send the latest reports and move closer as needed, we'll be going for containment so we can administer the cure when needed quickly. Have all medical teams ready to make more."

@[member="Syn"]

To the medical crew filing off the ship, Iella wanted for the commander. "Commander set a tent with equipment ready for the when Knight Rasu returns, they will need equipment to develop and create the cure. Have it isolated from the main camp site, we can't run the risk of contamination".

"Master Syn", she turned to him now with a slight flash of a smile. "I will go and aid the healers. I will try and provide support by using the force to calm the people and Jedi in pain, that might make their work a little easier". If not then it would at least less the pain of the suffers.

Iella walked toward the main tent, hold all the people infected by this horrid plague. She could sense the dark side on this place, her blade calling to her but for the moment she denied it. The strength of the presence of the dark side alone was enough to make one sick.

"Now Orihime stay on the ship and help the doctors load supplies to take down but do not go to the planet."

Orihime had listened to her mother and was happy to comply. THere was a sickness down below but the jedi still needed to help as best they could. That would show the difference between them and the sith who would just kill people. It would provide a sight to behold as she skipped around to get some more supplies and worked on loading more crates of the supplies. Letting her sabers jingle a little on her hips when she put it in the ship and smiled looking at the people there. A nod of her head before heading out and into the rooms as they left to go down with hazard suits on.

Knight moved, using her wings to follow the others who were on speeders but more importantly using the bolter. A small thing an exarch from Omega needed at times and it could tear into these sorcerers before they got to their chanting. Her feet touched the ground as she moved and went after it one of the few they had knocked over. His hands scrambling across the ground until she landed on it and smacked the bolter into his face. "Let get that cure, until we do kolcta tablets for everyone they can help a lot."

Kira Talith

Well, not that she wasn't one for rescuing the Miralan Knight from random talking Sorcerers, but clearly... they needed to do what they needed to do.

If Rasu wanted to stay behind and talk while fire and brimstone fell down over them --- well who was she to argue with the woman? Some of these Jedi were really starting to make Kira wonder just what was going on in their minds.

And it wasn't something that Kira was all too fond about.

Darting away from the Sorcerers of Tund, Kira went all parkour style over rocks, boulders and small shrubbery ( KNIGHTS THAT SAY NI!) Out of breath, covered from head to toe in soot, and with a charred cloak, Kira managed to reach the rest of the group.

Sticking her thumb behind her, she said out of breath, "Rasu decided to stay behind and talk... figure she can take care of herself." her eyes then took a look of determination.

"Let's finish what we came here to do..." paused to add "Without turning into some crazed glowstick handling mob, kay?"

This is getting less and less promising every second.

The forest was, quite literally, falling down on Calico's head. The ground around him was almost completely set aflame; the heat so strong that is distilled the view he'd taken up. Not to mention the smoke. Sure, he could walk through the fire just fine and emerge unscathed--that didn't mean a falling tree couldn't fall and crush him, or that sustained exposure wouldn't eventually burn through his armor. No, now was time for a tactical retreat.

The Commander scooped up his 'Deece' and slipped it into the straps on his hip. The Republic knew he was here, and he had his assessment of the Jedi--it was time to run. "You brought this on yourselves, bathrobes." He grumbled to himself as he burst through the shrubbery. Embers sizzled on his armored plates: fire reached up to consume him in its deadly embrace. His kama burst into orange flames and crumple down unto the forest floor as he ran. Sizzled plants cracked under his feet, and the smell of burning ozone forced its way through the filters in his helmet.

The CIS soldier erupted out of the flaming mess about as gracefully as a three legged akk dog. He stumbled and tripped over a body, rolled as he hit the ground, and tried to spring up to his feet. That didn't work however; his foot snagged on a particularly resilient weed.

Well, now I look like a di'kut. Don't judge me Jedi.

He hastily collected himself; standing up to his full height midst the flames. His armor was covered in soot, giving it an eerily gray appearance. Flames licked up behind him, and a hand rested on one of the twin DC-15s hanging from his hip. Topped with the ghostly blue glowing visor, Calico looked down right evil. He fixated his gaze on one of the rougher look Jedi @[member="Kira Liadain"] "You alright, ma'am?"

His arms folded over his chest, and it was only then he noticed how absolutely drained he was. That, and the immense pain welling up from his chest. He'd done more than upset the wound. "I counted two Jedi in the fire. They were going toward it...and another, not sure what it was. If everyone is clear, then I can move back in for retrieval."

Yinch was moving now! He ran and hopped on to Mara's back as they high tailed it to wherever they were supposed to go. He hoped they could find that cure soon or his new buddy was going to start getting sick really soon.

"Find the cure we must." He said as Knight swooped on to a sorcerer-rerer.

"Whoa." Yinch said "Strange all you big thigs are. No offense do I mean Mara."

Syn looked at Iella and gave a nod of his head and was moving more to be a sentry then anything else. He moved though to meet with the other jedi who were in pain and the Republic soliers while he spoke. "It will be okay, Knight Rasu is out looking to get a cure." He didn't like the suit, mainly cause it impeded his senses of smell, hearing and taste but the sickness he could almost feel in the force as he moved and was using as much healing as he could. Feena mason had taught him how to really dig deep and heal and he was going to use it to keep as many as he could alive.
