Campaign Treasure Hunt Across the Galaxy

The galaxy was vast and ancient. Beings have lived and died for millenia, fought wars over conflicts people existing today couldn’t comprehend, and many others that they could recognize. Love, hate, redemption. The galaxy was a cycle but one thing remained the same.

Self-Preservation.

Recent shifts in the galactic spectrum have caused many secrets to be released to the galaxy as a whole, and those who had the natural lean to exploration were able to overturn some of these rumors. Jedi ExplorCorps teams, Wardens of the Sky, and galactic trailblazers were all hearing the rumors of an untold treasure in the galaxy.

Some called it the Corona Fleet, for it stemmed from the Hapan Consortium and tale was that it was a war fleet rivaling the fabled Katana Fleet.

Others called it the Kyber Vault, for the tales they found were that it contained knowledge that was lost to the Jedi and other Force users, containing holocrons and other relics of a time reflecting back to the High Republic.

And yet even more called it the Jewel of the Unknown, for those heard the rumors that there were the treasures of several worlds in the Unknown Regions, all stockpiled to provide a tithe to a being of mystical powers.

What was true was that there were rumors of three different directions, all written in the same script, dated to the same time. And the Rimward Trade League was among some benefactors providing credits and funds to allow treasure hunters to dive deeper into the galaxy to find the clues.

Depending on where someone heard the rumor depended on the riddle the team had heard. Those with more a connection to the Jedi, be it a specific Order, a close friend, or being part of the Religion would hear that “The Vault Is Revealed by Ashla Over the Frozen Tears.” This one was speaking of the world of Tython.

Those with a more capitalist leaning would most likely have heard the tale from Hyperspace Trailblazers would have been told “The Vault is Revealed by Following the River Under the Forest in the Gateworlds.” Rumors persisted that this referenced a location in the Phelope System.

The final clue was the most difficult as it was partially corrupted. “The Vault is Revealed—The World Inhabited by Red-Eyed Skywalkers—-” This one was received by the Wardens of the Sky, and seemed to have been uncovered during the cataclysm of Csillia. Could the vault still remain?

OOC:
Welcome to the Treasure Hunt. Please use this thread to explore one of the three locations. Its safe to assume your characters have deciphered one of the three planets for the treasure. Lets make it fun, and I’ll be popping in to provide a little challenge in 2 days.

The Silver Dawn was..... always interesting to come to. The strange stone walls seeming to writhe and move out of the corner of your eyes but when you looked at it.. the walls something few would visit. The strange waters around the sunless realm of the force at the end of the universe was... well something for them to research. "Master there is a message from the High Plane." The Rukongi Twins were here with her exploring and providing their insight to the strangeness of it. The chain gateway open and able to communicate with the high plane of the jedi as the signal was coming through and her interface activated showing the message of a treasure hunt and riddles to go along with it pointing the way. A smile on her face as a distraction from the mysteries that they were chasing here and elsewhere could help refresh the mind. "Thank you, I will head to the first one." She said it and began walking holding her hand out as the undrjarn gleamed on her wrist.... force energy channeling throughout it and brightening it as the twins stayed with the research team but she moved into the blue ribbon of force energy and focused her mind. 'Tython' She thought it and could visualize it as she moved her body appearing in the desert as she stood there. The silence something that came fro no where and was jarring.... she looked up into the sky and the jedi master moved up into the air as she started off towards one of the few places she could think of for frozen tears.

This was the first time Rhiza had visited Tython since the mawite attack on the holy world. The sky was darkened and the Jedi Master caught small glimpses of the ruined moon of Ashla high above. The scars of the battle were evident and the air hung heavy with the smell of Ash from the moonfall cataclysm. Thunder rumbled in the distance and Rhiza looked over her shoulders, the dark clouds were flashing with lighting eerily over the nearby mountains. This once beautiful planet had survived the attack, but would never be the same.

Rhiza jumped on her speeder bike and headed out into the wilderness. As an Ashlan she had become familiar with the history of this world and had an idea what the frozen tears may refer to, she hoped the location would still be reachable after the tectonic activity that had occurred. This activity would hopefully secure whatever articlfacts were being sought on behalf of the Rimward Jedi Council. The Spectre leaved her bike as she followed a dried up river basin towards the suspected location of the vault. <<This is Master Dural, I have made landfall on Tython and proceeding to the vault, I will update you again once I arrive if possible.>> she sent an update to her orbiting ship who would relay it to the Jedi temple on Dagobah, there was a lot of interference in the atmosphere so she couldn't be certain how long she would be able to remain in contact. The ground flashed along below her as she moved and she whipped past the skeleton of a long deceased animal in the river bed. Rhiza reached out to feel other presences and she could feel someone out there, but it was never clear near force nexii at the best of times, but with the wounds in the force caused here it was anyone's guess.

Csilla? That was a system Aeshi had never planned on returning to, not since she had been part of the expedition along with her distant cousin Vera and the Rescue Service to save who they could after the Maw broke the planet.

She let her hands rest carefully on the controls of the Requiem. Debris and wreckage hung frozen in the system and Aeshi studied the readouts. It sounded like the magnetized asteroid field she'd heard about recently that the Service had responded to a distress signal in.

"So, we're looking for an ancient vault?" Aeshi mused. "Red-eyed Skywalkers..." She scowled. "Why in the Force's name would someone hide a vault here."

She nudged the thrusters forward and let the freighter drift forward into the void, using maneuvering thrusters to move around the vast chunks of wreckage the size of cities.

Siala Vash had managed to hitch a ride to Phelope.

She'd been on Hapes, so it hadn't been far -- lucky for her. Her mercenary 'friend' had asked that she meet him for a drink as 'payment.' Of course, she'd agreed. But, in reality, he was in for a lonely night at the cantina.

Vash had her rucksack packed, and she threw it onto her shoulders. Normally, she'd be dressed for a night out on the town... but not this time. Instead, she'd traded her shirt and heels for cargo pants and boots. She had a tan trench coat over top, gotta keep it a little classy. Though she did not count herself among the Jedi, she'd heard whispers about treasure.

Where there was treasure, there was Vash.

If a few credits could be made, then she was in. A few artifacts could fetch her quite a haul -- enough for some new clothes. Maybe even a place to stay for a while. Sia quietly stole away, leaving her companion to wait. Now, to ponder this clue...

"River under the forests..." Siala said, eyes narrowing. Well, it seemed she was in for quite an adventure.

Ethanael had left the safety of Dosuun and the greater systems surrounding it. It was his first trip beyond the reach of the Ison Corridor or the Southern Imperial Trade Route. As such his aunts Ryssa and Ariel Yvarro wanted to be sure that their nephew would be well looked after on this 'treasure hunt' on which he so embarked. His small vessel was a replica of the Phantom, and was ahead of what felt like an over-the-top fleet that had been assembled. The fleet consisted of mostly smaller, faster ships, and even aboard the Phantom a contingent of guards were aboard. All to ensure his safety, which he wasn't sure he needed perhaps his aunts were overreacting. They did fear his mother which he could understand still, Ethanael was rather delighted to be on the trip.

Of course, they had just entered Phelope's system.

And of course, he was unaware that his aunts had written quite the letter to Mr. Kurayami Bloodborn with regard to Ethanael's well-being. While Josephine, his sister gunned for control of the family company, his aunts were sure that the young man would likely gather it by simply doing the work he had done thus far with RTL. It was of course of the utmost importance that he comes back home, alive.

KohZBng.png
Looking behind him and over at the guard, Ethanael sighed, he then lamented, "uncle, don't you think it is unnecessary? I am not even considered in the line for the throne, none of us are and yet..." the young man looked at the guards directly before turning his attention back onto 'Uncle Ami', "here I am being treated as one, but I digress... Perhaps they, my aunts, have a point. Now then!" The engineer's hand clasped together as he tugged on his suit. "How much further until we've reached our destination?" He had really joined the expedition out of sheer curiosity. "You know, I once had the opportunity to observe an archaeological expedition on Mephout? That's right the Society of Archaeological Researchers, an extraordinary group had gone about-" Continued Ethanael, he rambled on about the society and his time with them.

His excitement at being so far from home and exploring for treasure made him feel,
"as if I were in one of those fancy holofilms, do you recall the one about the man with the whip? Exploring various tombs and shouting it belongs in a museum!" The lad was certainly beside himself but couldn't help but notice something, "Uncle, are you listening?"

Tython | Treasure Hunting
Return To The Galaxy

————————————————
Funny, the first place he returned to in this galaxy was the last place he left.

The Battle of Tython was one bloodiest engagements that he had been involved with. Casualties on either side were immeasurable. It was going to be a long time before the planet healed. Who knows if it will ever be restored to its former glory. Only the Force could tell.

It had been around a half-hour since the Blue Lightning touched down on the surface. Lowered fully, the cargo bay door let in the fresh smell of air. A slight breeze carried scents from nearby forests and rivers inside the loading area. Yet the man sat at the top of the entryway, looking out upon the landscape. Signs of the battle were already fading away, but it would be a long while before they were unnoticeable. Okkeus scanned the plains ahead. This head told him to stand, go search for this long-lost treasure that rested somewhere within Tython. His body held him back though. So much pain was endured here. So much suffering.

His journey to Companion Forn was not one out of pure adventurism. It was an escape from conflict. Out there, no one knew who he was. No one knew about the Alliance, about the Maw, about Tython. Some have never heard of the main galaxy itself. A fresh start was available for him to take a hold of. But life was not the same. Part of him deep down inside craved the conflict. He wanted to help others, making sure the defenseless were defended. That life took a toll on someone.

A lot of convincing had been done to tell himself he wasn't running away. Yet it felt as such.

————————————————

Cool air flew past the Overdrive as the Knight raced across the landscape. It had been some time since he drove this buggy, so it felt nice to get some new mud on the tires. The rear turret has long since been removed, now allowing more cargo capacity for whatever treasure he may find. A signal had been picked up from some other Jedi that were also searching for the frozen tears covering the vault. He was unsure what the tears were in reference to, but hopefully it would not be too hard to solve.

Then again, it was a long-hidden treasure they were after.

For now, he continued his drive towards his fellow Jedi. The air around him still held scents of battle, but the environment had been to heal. Newly grown plants and trees could be smelt, along with various wildlife passing through the area. Maybe the revival of Tython would be quicker than he thought.

The Rimward Trade League was dishing out a few credits and some ships to teams who were going after this 'Jewel of the Unknown,' and frankly it was helping Jared. He was a Starchaser, sure, but sometimes you needed the capital upfront for a little expedition. One thing he needed to do was change his ship. The Cutter was a great ship for what it was, but there was a need from Jared to update to something a bit more roomy, and a bit more modifiable.

Picking up the Niathal shuttle was one of those ships. There was a limited run that his father had put out to modify it, but Jared was doing that from the ground up on his own. The navy blue painted ship reverted to real space in the suburbs of the cataclysm that was Csillia. A few scanning items were essentially welded to the ship and not totally in their final location, all compliments of his father, but the ship was paid for by Rimward.

And his sister.

Jared didn't need people to remind him of that.

"Alright Hopper, lets get some scans. Csilla…."
It was home, once upon a time, and he hated seeing it this way. "isn't here, so we're probably looking for anything with power among the wreckage."

The Wavebreak didn't notice the Requiem yet.

The Heartfire came out of cloak as it made the jump reversion checks, and floated just outside of range of the grave of Csilla. Ultra low profiles on full, Tessa nosed the ship forward into the field, and confident no one present represented a threat, she began actively pinging and scanning with the more advanced systems on the ship.

At first looking for any stragglers scuttled in the hunt, then looking for signs of ruins or hulks that might be worth exploring, she pitched the experimental ship to one side to slip past a tumbling chunk of debris and circuitry laced hands flew just above the control boards' touch screen, wiggling in complex patterns that the ship responded to without hesitation, the craft likely glowing like a beacon in the Force with how she was scanning and piloting. Her personal hope was some bleeding edge tech had survived the planet, and that she might get to study it. The Chiss had some interesting ideas, for certain. And if anyone picked her up, the Heartfire could vanish without a trace easily and wait for the right time.

But the first to the prize would claim a bit of a name for themselves, for certain. And she was tired of being known largely by her father's lastname. Time to make her own.

Kurayami never had an issue traveling the galaxy, even with a companion usually, however when it was that person's first time traveling beyond their homeworld, that was a bit of an annoyance to say the least. Thaat is where he was at with this trip, granted he was onboard a replica of an X-70B Phantom, so it wasn't that travel was uncomfortable per se, but thanks to Ariel and Ryssa he was travelling with his 'nephew' Ethanael. To say that his nephew was excited for the trip was putting things quite lightly. Of course they weren't alone for this endeavor oh no. That would have made some modicum of sense or mayhaps even shown that they placed faith in the oft drunken Corellian Jedi Master. Instead they were at the point of a fleet of ships most of which were smaller and faster. Of course there were also the guards onboard which was always fun.

So far he had kept himself occupied during the journey by working on a new design for...well he hadn't worked out exactly what kind of ship yet. His work was interrupted by his nephew coming up and asking multiple questions in rapidfire succession. "Yea, the guards are a bit overkill. The fleet is definitely going too far. I suppose your mother doesn't know me as well as your aunts do though so they decided overkill was best. Their point is that you aren't used to being away from home. So they're just taking precautions is all. Kurayami stood and stretched, going to check their progress on the galaxy map. Standing at the table he pressed a button, watching as a projection flickered to life. Zooming in on the holographic map it was focused moreso around their ship, but still showed the system as well as the distance and time to arrival. "Right here. This marker is our ship, around us are the ones that let us know which ships belong to our fleet based on their IFF transponder codes. Above that is our distance measured in lightyears from our destination, the dashed line is our route, and under our ship is listed the ETA. According to this we should be there in about two standard hours."

Right after that as he was walking back to sit back down, Ethanael started to tell him about how he had the chance to observe an archaeological dig on Mephout and some society of researchers he had been attached to. Honestly Kurayami had zoned out a bit after the first part. The question about a holofilm was met with a half attentive nod and the final question was answered with a simple and direct "Sure."

Treasure Hunt Across the Galaxy

Mnoi Akûti sat in the corner of the Requiem cleaning and maintaining his sword Mnirmi'ntima. It didn't actually need it, as the sword didn't get dirty and could repair itself if damaged. Still, it was a task that allowed him to focus, especially considering how dangerous it was. Not only was it incredibly sharp, it could also give him frostbite if he carelessly touched the blade.
"So, we're looking for an ancient vault?" Aeshi mused. "Red-eyed Skywalkers..." She scowled. "Why in the Force's name would someone hide a vault here."
"I'd assume it was for the same reason it would be hidden anywhere else. They thought they could hide it away safely until whenever. Whoever and whatever 'they' and 'whenever' are. What's Csilla like, anyway? I've never been there."

The Rimward Trade League had let a number of people reach for them to get credits to improve their equipment to find the treasures scattered on the galaxy. Some of the beings had an understanding that the treasures on each of the worlds were what they were looking for, or could be a map leading to the final goal. What people found on every step of the journey was known only to the beings who put these treasures away.

Some survivalists. Some hoarders. Some preppers.

All seemed to be before the Gulag.

Some may even predate the Clone Wars.

But history wasn't what every member of the team was looking for. Most were in these sorts of endeavors for treasure.

Tython –

Those who sought Tython were following clues for a specific locale. The people who put this treasure down were part of the Jedi Order, or at least, one of its off shoots. What beings didn't know off the cuff were the entirety of the riddle. However, the Frozen Tears were a locale in the Meridional Ice Cap. And Ashla, that was one of the moons of Tython.

Very clearly, this was a treasure hunt. So it wasn't going to be just as easy as getting to the Tear… What did Ashla have to do with it?

Phelope –

The location on the clues pushed people towards Phelope, one of the few worlds that had the right geology for the underground rivers. There was a forest on the world, it was one of the common drinks. And that was mostly where the underground rivers were. They may have been called Phelopean Tubes locally, but they were just known as the 'The Tunnels.'

Apparently set up by ancient Hapan… There was no tell what this was going to be hiding.

Csillia –

If the explorers had found the world before the Cataclysm, they would be finding a world of ice, with a pocket of thermal generation around an ancient navigation temple. Home of the Chiss Skywalkers, the temple protected a map. And the protections? Chiss war droids, full of maser type weaponry. The temple required the solution of an Unknown Region route through the darkness. Connecting three worlds with only the riddle to direct them properly.

And now? It was unsure what awaited the pilots in the void.

The flight to the Martyrium was a trip that few others could meet. She could sense other and being on Tython she could see the force storms from imbalances of the planet. Her mind shifting and focusing on it as she allowed the force to guide her and sense the path towards the solid kyber confessional... it was the biggest source and you could track it. She sensed others and touched down on the ground as the petite jedi master clasped her hand sin front of her. The robes concealing her sabers and utility belt as its force koije bag was on her hip and the cracken field kit. SHe slipped her hand to the compartment and the glow rod came out into her hand as she activated it and the orange light illuminated the entryway while she was walking in. Looking up towards the sky before she saw the moon and there were some ideas in her mind what she could do.... depending on who else might be coming here.

Captain of the Final Dawn
This was Varos's first formal mission under the Final Dawn and he was quite certain he would be able to accomplish it. Being that he has been on some excursions to the Phelope System with the Empire, he already had some sort of experience under his belt. The captain was in the control of two warships, a Quasar Fire-Class Cruiser Transport as well as a Constance-Class Patrol Ship. Each of the ships were heavily equipped with their respective cargo, whether it's people or starfighter squadrons, they have what's needed. Aboard the cruiser transport there are 4 hangers on each ship, each holding 12 starfighters and a support craft, consisting of a GPL-2307 and varying TIE/fd Fighters and TIE/fd Advanced/Interceptors. In other words, they were ready.

The patrol ship, as well as the cruiser transport, jettisoned out of hyperspace right outside the atmoshpere of Phelope, "Sir, we are approaching the atmosphere, would you like to land now?" He looks over to the navigator, "Sure, take us in, just be careful, I'm picking up various starfighter signals on our radars." He scratches his head, "Oh, I almost forgot, have the cruiser transport deploy the GPL-2307s. We need to get the 202nd Legion on the ground to scout out the area." They proceed to send 3 transports down to the surface, each carrying roughly about 120 troopers. "Alright, take us down now," Varos says with confidence.

Upon arrival of the surface, each platoon was setting up camp in seperate areas. In the preperation of conflict with other groups they decided to set up in quite a barren area. Talking to one of his the elite troopers, "We leave camp next morning, prepare to head to the forest, I've heard from an informant that the treasure could potentially be in the area..."

The Zygerrian pulled her speeder up near the target location and dismounted, now she was here, she could feel another presence much more clearly, it was up presence of light, which was reassuring, many many dark creatures inhabited this world, it was a world of contrasts, representing representing dark and the like after all.

The skies were clearing above and Rhiza touched her rosary, making a brief request that Ashla guide her. She had not been a believer when she first joined the crusade, but Ashla had guided her to forgiveness for her earlier life, so she would at least honour the faith with gratitude, if not outright reverence. She thought she spotted something ahead, in the caves, an eerie orange light, that of another explorer perhaps? She quickly checked her gear and picked up the pace to catch up. "Hey, who's in there?" she called ahead when she entered tunnel and could see movement that made it obvious that it was a sentient and not just a trick of the light. She couldnt be too careful though, so the master spectre kept her hand close to her lightsaber, ready to face down a challenge I needed.

"I am a Jedi, I believe we might be here for the same thing." she called out again to Matsu Ike Matsu Ike ahead of her before rounding the corner to confront the stranger. The hairs on her neck prickled with anticipation to see who would answer, dark or light, it was a toss of a coin on this planet.

A Walk in the Phelopean Forest...

This time, it wasn't the popular drink served up at local cantinas, but an actual walk in a forest. At least, that's what Vash was planning. For now, it seemed like the best lead. After a few quick stops to add supplies to her rucksack, she'd acquired a speeder bike -- and was now on her way.

In the distance, the dense forests could be seen.

She wondered what she'd find there, if anything. Vash hadn't exactly planned this out as much as she probably should have... but it was her way to improvise. With the mention of rivers, she figured she'd find the nearest one and follow it. The wind whipped through her hair as she rode, it was a nice feeling. But, the feeling of credits in her hand would be so much better.

This better be worth it.

Two hours had come and gone, Ethanael in the meanwhile supposed that his uncle had a point. He had not been so well versed in the galaxy as his sister Josephine, or even aunt Aerys. No, Ethanael had spent most of his life within the Commonwealth's protection. An established region featuring Dosuun as its capital with the surrounding systems participating, hailing one of his relatives as their sovereign queen. Galidraani by blood but Dosuunian born and raised, the young man wandered from the ship's galley and up toward the command area once more. His guards were not too far behind much to his annoyance.

Gaining a look over at the map,
"uncle, what are those other blips there? They don't seem familiar." Ethanael gestured toward the small blips where the IFF markers had listed the signatures as hostile. Final Dawn to be exact, which of the Yvarro sisters programmed it this way one couldn't say but what one could say was that the guards pushed the young man back behind them and took him back to the galley. "I say! How remarkably rude, I would like to know who they are."

"They don't matter, sit." Ordered the guard who then turned to look toward the man supposedly in charge.

Ethanael really didn't care if they did or didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, he needed to know who they were as the rest of the fleet arrived.
"I have an artifact to find and I should like to find it!" Shouted the young man from the back as the guards spoke with Kurayami Bloodborn Kurayami Bloodborn in private on how to go about the expedition. Soon after things were settled the Phantom departed from the fleet's formation with several of its own escorts including private fighter contingents. The ship broke through Phelope's atmosphere and descended toward a safe spot away from Final Dawn but near enough that Ethanael and Kurayami could walk to their destination.

Once they had landed, Ethanael dressed in his exploration gear excitedly disembarked, seemingly having forgotten his transgressions aboard the ship earlier. Although he would say not forgotten, he just didn't want that to spoil his fun.
"What a beautiful world, why this quite reminds me of Skye, do you recall the national park there? Such lush forests!" He then went on to ramble about the beauty of Skye and this world reminded him of when legislation had passed to create aforementioned parks there on that world, "uncle, are you listening?"

He assumed so and looked over at his data tablet and then up to where he should be going,
"now according to the clues here, we should be heading down this way into what the locals call... Phelopean tubes... I say, how vulgar." Declared the Dosuunian who then cleared his throat. Ethanael pushed forward once more, going through the forest and then he looked behind him to see uncle with speeders. "Oh yes, this would make it quite faster wouldn't it? Right then," he worked meticulously to put the tablet into place and then got on the speeder with ease. "Ah, a little rougher than the models at home but should suffice, now which button..."

The young man soon found out which button made it go,
"by the Balance!" Exclaimed Ethanael as the speeder took off like a rocket and he held on for dear life. "UNCLE!" He held onto the speeder's handles and pushed through the forests keeping an eye out for the rivers he read about in the clues. "How do you slow this bloody thing!" He looked up once more and hoped no one was ahead of him but it was quite hard to make out otherwise. "Please get out of the way!" Shouted with the purpose he did not want to harm a single person or thing.

Captain of the Final Dawn
As, the one sun in view rose, the small platoon squad that Varos had organized was getting prepared to head off into the forest that another group had uncovered around 10 miles away. Raising his voice, "Get those speeders checked, I don't want any of them breaking down while we're off." Then grabbing another trooper, "You, yes you, make sure no one gets in here, no one in, no one out until were back." Then Varos walks over to the center of the camp, stands on a platform, and clears his voice, "Alright ya'll, I need all of you to hold down the fort while me and Platoon 3 are gone. We're off to the forest, that's the best lead we have at the moment." Heading off to the prepped speeders, Varos gathers Platoon 3.

"Alright guys, make sure all your gear is in check cause we wont be back any time soon. " As the hour passes, they hop on their speeders and head off to the Pheopean Forest. Unknown to their knowledge, there's already people in the area.

During the intervening two hours Kurayami did what he could to prepare for the outing on the planet, he wasn't overly familiar with Phelope other than the fact that it was in the Hapan cluster which could turn out to be an adventure in and of itself, what with the matriarchal society and their view of men as second class citizens. As the thought was crossing his mind his nephew made another appearance and pointed out new pings on the map, interrupting his very detailed, but more importantly calming design work. He turned to look as Ethanael was whisked away before he was able to answer the kid. Final Dawn transponder codes. Well shit. There went a decent expedition and a good chance to tech the kid how to properly excavate a site without too much pressure. Of course they just had to show up here to ruin what could have been a nice...well nice-ish outing here.

"Yea, how incredibly rude of them to whisk you away why the adults talk. Don't worry about it Ethanael, just know that if we run into them they ain't exactly friendly."

He turned his attention back to the guards and worked on a plan to figure out how to proceed with the expedition. Once settled, Kurayami moved to the rrom he had been assigned during the trip and suited up in his Aquila armored flightsuit and two MSD-32 disruptor pistols, plenty of extra ammo for them, as well as his lightsaber, clipped to his belt. Sealing his helmet in place he powered up the systems as the Phantom peeled off with its escort and settled into its designated landing spot. While it was close enough to walk, they were going to be taking speeders for efficiency.

Walking down the ramp after his nephew he nodded while the kid excited rambled some more .
"Yea I remember the national park there. It was rather nice." Again his nephew went on to ramble about Skye and remembering when the legislation was passed that created the park. Yea kid, definitely listening. Beautiful laws and such. That's great." Just those words made it clear that no, he had not been listening, at least not very closely.

The next part about clues he was indeed paying close attention to. And the name of the location made him burst out laughing as Ethanael seemed utterly disgusted by the naming of the underground river system. As he brought the speeders forward and caught his breath he replied to the his nephew,
"Listen here kid, you get a planet ruled by women for a few thousand years and shit like this happens. Don't put too much thought into the fact that we are going inside..." He couldn't even keep a straight face beneath the helmet or stop himself from bursting out laughing again.

Hopping on his speeder Kurayami mentally facepalmed as the kid was having major issues with finding the throttle. He opened a comms channel to him and sent a brusque but informative message.
"The handles, they only move forward and back. Pull toward you to slow down, push forward to speed up. Pedals are for pitch and yaw." He could only hope that Ehtanael managed to hold on and not snap his neck, or Josephine would be very unhappy with him to say the least, even if it wasn't his fault.

The feeling of arriving in the supace of a world that was no longer there, a world he had grown up on, at least some of the time, was definitely nostalgic… Or it would have been if the world was there. The Wavebreak was an agile ship once it got a few upgrades and Jared was flying towards the ruined world, his eyes on the asteroids of the planet and had shields up to block anything smaller.

Hopper, his BD unit, was trilling a few signals, indicating that the Requiem and Heartfire but nothing else yet. If there was something, it was too weak. Perhaps another scan, or getting deeper to the core of the world…

Meanwhile, Jared announced his intent. '"This is Wavebreak to Requiem and Heartfire. What brings you two to this graveyard?"
