DESCRIPTION
Designed after his acceptance as a Mandalorian by others after the debacle in orbit over Obroa Skai, Kurayami started to work with Mandalorian smiths to design a lighter set of armor that would provide superior protection. What ended up was a set of beskargam that was tailored for a pilot, the Aquila Armored flightsuit. Many systems and ideas were borrowed from his earlier Mk. 4 Expeditionary armor, with the crystadurium replaced by beskar sandwiched between reinforced duraplast for the plates and helm and an insulated phrik armorweave was utilized for the flight jacket and envirosuit. The optical zoom was upgraded slightly to provide a greater edge in visual confirmation of targets in combat situations as well as help maintain accuracy at long range. The modular hardpoints on the gauntlets are able to mount dart launchers, wrist rockets, or other various weapons or tools with 2 per gauntlet located on the forearm of each. After the event at Obroa Skai bioscanners were added to the enhanced sensor suite to provide the ability to designate and monitor targets when necessary. One feature many take not of right away is the lack of a visor. This was done for increased protection for the head and is the main reason the suit includes a faraday cage and EMP hardening, due to the fact that if the sensors were to be taken offline it would blind the user completely while the system rebooted.
