Introduction Post

The Lawless Planet of Darvannis - Imgur

The World of Darvannis has been through many events within the past from the buildup of Hutt Armies to the Empire of Zakuul, each of these events changed the course of history but they did not affect the world as much as the current event happening at this moment in time. Although the ancient hutt cartel managed to fund a small garrassion to station the world, the bryn'adul invasions slashed into the very heart of the hutt empire. Leading to this world falling underneath the control of petty crime lords and other cartels which oppose the hutt clans. However the slaves on the world have been steering, being united underneath a single leader.

The Slaves of Darvannis had been reformed into a formidable force by this single leader and have begun a massive rebellion against the rule of the hutt clans. Three Hutt Clans had attempted to establish their foothold within the region and the planet of Darvannis suited their needs due to its isolation from galactic events and the mighty asteroid field above the planet which protected it from major invasions.

The Slave Industry had thrived underneath of the Three Hutt Clans, making a small fortune by turning the massive amount of sand on the planet into glass. This Darvannis Glass was cheap but costed way less than professionally made glass which made it profitable. The Slaves had been worked day and night within the harsh dunes and rough sand seas of the world. Mining sand and pushing it into immense factories to produce glass. The rough treatment by their overlords spawned this terrible rebellion as they have taken the most vital area of the world from the hutts.

The Zakuul Skytrooper Factory on the world although decades old was still semi-functional, allowing the rebellion to capture this ancient facility as the headquarters of this revolt. The Three Hutt Clans underneath the control of Lord Strako the Hutt attempted to wrestle control of the factory from the slaves with limited success. Although the automatic defenses of the factory have begun to push back the forces of the hutts. Rumors are bound to spread across the four corners of the galaxy as more and more thugs find themselves on the world looking for work.

Many of them have been drawn here for the idea of making such a big profit on crushing this rebellion flat. Although even the mighty mercenaries find themselves pushed back by the reactivated skytroopers and slave workers. Mighty though they are within the galaxy, the might of ancient zakuul is more than a match for even the strongest of empire's as proven by the Ancient Era where Zakuul ruled over both the Republic and the Sith Empire.

The dice have been rolled on the planet and time will tell if the rebellion will succeed or fail.

Strako the Hutt's Palace

The Saruton Mercenary stood within the fancy audience chamber of Lord Strako the Hutt. Opulence and Luxury was two things that the hutt clans knew about almost perfectly. Although the Three Hutt Clans were managed by different hutt families the most powerful hutt within the region had to be Strako the Hutt. Known for his outlandish style of dressing and odd manner of speaking. He was not the most respected within the galaxy but his reign of terror over Darvannis was Legendary enough for the Saruton to arrive within a few days before the rebellion sparked.

Having landed upon Darvannis within his shuttle craft, he made his way to the entrance to the palace. Opening up to reveal a large hallway which lead to another hallway, which lead to another hallway. Eventually making his way into the audience chamber to meet with Strako in regards to employment. However before he had a chance to request more details. The Massive Slave Rebellion Sparked on the planet to the concern of one of the hutt's ushers. Lord Strako was outraged by this defiance and sent out an entire squadron of mercenaries to restore order among the slave populace which outnumbered the armies of the hutt clans. 10 to one. Although the only thing that prevented this rebellion from turning more deadly was the fact that the mercenaries had training and better equipment.

Karkosuchus waited until more information could be gathered from the hutt's spies. The Slaves had managed to overtake the garrison at the Ancient Zakuul Factory and were pumping out zakuulian walkers and skytroopers. Although they could not activated the entire factory due to the decades of wear and tear. This new force was more formidable than even the mercenary armies underneath Strako.

Lord Strako had sent out an emergency summons to any person nearby to assist in destroying this rebellion against hutt authority. Promising all manner of credits and rewards for the safe return of the factory to his slimy and greedy hands. If one was to enter right now, they would spy the hutt lorda lounging upon his throne of carved ivory and wookiee skin. Adorning him was a grey robe with a large cornicle hat which sat on top of his bulb like head. Adorning his fingers would be rings of gemstones which shined in the light of his abode.

Karkosuchus himself was cleaning his gear for the up-coming conflict with the slave army. His desire to feed upon them was growing every second but his patience would last through the briefing that the hutt would give. Although he had made the decision to send another force of mercenaries to assault the factory. He smoked more spice from his cigar within his jagged teeth. Mixing in with his already overpowering odor from his mostly unsanitary living conditions.

Now they would wait for more to arrive.

Sisserith smelled the room long before she arrived.

It went without saying that Hutts stank, doubly so for her, given her species’ powerful olfactory senses. However, there was another unsanitary, vaguely reptilian stench that reached the Seseli’s nostrils as she made her way to the audience chamber, accompanied by the characteristic twang of a spice. Sisserith had once thought that Graug and Ologuren smelled bad, but these odors were on another level compared to the monsters of the Bloody Iron Sunz. Nevertheless, having moved on from that ravaging horde after the Glass Dagger Warband was decimated on Loovria, Sisserith had struck out on her own, though she hoped to find a crew sooner or later. By now, Sisserith had some experience with life on the fringes. As a Sithspawn, settling down as a law-abiding civilian was a dangerous proposition. It would only take a single self-righteous Force-sensitive to root her out. As such, Sisserith didn’t make the effort.

She never would have bothered anyways, even without the pressure of the Jedi or other types of grotesquely incandescent sycophants.

Entering the audience chamber, Sisserith first took in the massive, crocodilian mercenary cleaning his gear as he smoked a strong-smelling cigar. The tiny Seseli had spent almost her entire life surrounded by such monstrous creatures, but even she was in awe at the size of the lad lizard. Not to mention, the Saruton’s reputation as a cannibalistic killer was just as big as his physique, given his bounties in Galactic Alliance and New Imperial space.

To say the least, Sisserith had no intention of putting herself between the Saruton and a meal.

Next, Sisserith took in the obese, opulently-dressed form of the Hutt Lorda. Presenting herself before Hutt with a respectful bow, after observing the necessary protocol, the diminutive Seseli stood back up to her full height and spoke up.

“Lorda Strako, I am at your service.”

The Slave Rebellion on Darvannis was little more than an interesting news snippet or a chance to earn a quick credit for most that heard of it. For Alisteri however, it had been the best news he had heard in years. A successful revolt of slave workers against their owners, something that he could only have dreamt of back during his own enslavement. Of course the Hutts wouldn't take such blatant rebellion lying down and had sent out a call for mercenaries and bounty hunters alike to help put down the revolt.

The Sith Acolyte would venture to Darvannis to ensure the revolt succeeded.

He stepped off of his shuttle and peered up at the rebel's current headquarters, and their greatest asset, an ancient Zakuul factory. Even with limited weaponry the slaves had fought off the Hutt forces and dug in long enough to get the factory operational again. To some extent anyway. The defenses and production were online at least, and even if not at full capacity were more than enough to give the revolt a fighting chance. He idly wondered if the leaders of the slaves would be willing to send him the blueprints of the Skytrooper droids that the factory produced.

He had no factory capabilities himself of course, meaning that he wouldn't actually be able to make any Skytroopers for himself regardless, but it was always nice to have such things lying around. Just in case.

That would be a question for later, after the Hutts had been repelled. Alisteri strode forth and, after a brief exchange with the nearest guard, entered the factory. Production was going and Skytrooper droids were being armed and sent to the defenses as he gradually made his way towards what he assumed to be the control center for the rebels.

Iella stood in the corner leaned against a wall, observing the proposed battleplans silently, while also watching the people in the room with curiosity. These people were strong, but they weren't soldiers. All the same, she wasn't going to simply abandon them to their fate. Slave trade was long since outlawed, and for good reason. Fairly enough, she engaged in illegal activity herself, but... Something about the stories she had heard had driven her to action. She wondered if it made her a hypocrite. Did it even matter at this point? She was dug in with them now.

Arms folded across her chest, she continued to listen. Though would note something she felt she needed to voice.

"The facilities defensive measures are still active. We don't need people standing right next to them."

Having cut off the effectual leader of the Rebellion group, he quite frankly offered up his position, nodding her over.

'I've heard of you, friend of a friend. You think you can enhance this somehow?'

He asked her curiously, to which she would bite her lip and inhale a bit. Moving over to the table, her cybernetically enhanced eyes would scan the table in a heartbeat, brain operating at well above the average for a human being of her age...

She deleted the batte-plan, causing a few murmurs to be heard across the room, and she would rapidly begin swapping their unit positions and concentrations around. She ignored them and continued. Roughly a minute and twenty seconds would pass since the deletion of the previous battle-plan, and her holding one of the holographic representations of their current forces. A model of the ship she flew in on. She slid it ahead, near the front lines.

'You're going to attempt a bombing run? Without support ships?'

Iella was still staring at the battleplan, aware it likely wouldn't survive contact with the enemy forces. Yet still, this was optimal. Let the defensive turrets do what they needed too. Certainly, they would have anti-emplacement weaponry, but they would be forced to use it on either the turrets or the patchwork emplacements of droids. In addition, there were several points where they could set traps. Seemingly scrap droids that were more than ready for action.

If they needed to give ground, and retreat into the facility these droids would come in handy. Beyond that, between her own upgrades, and her RA-2 Battle Armor she could survive aboard The Cutter in case of an explosion... Well... She had a 75.6 percent chance of survival if she emptied the bomb tubes in time. 49.3 percent if she wasn't able too. Decent odds in a gunfight.

"Yes."

Iella stated plainly, smiling over at him, then everyone in the room. Her eyes catching Darth Strosius Darth Strosius as he entered and narrowing slightly. She liked wearing black too, but having grown up in Canto Bight, a place long held by the Sith before their dissolution; she was getting strong Sith boy vibes from him. Still, if he was on their side, then better to mind her own business. She didn't wanna' risk her odds against a Force Sensitive, if he even was... And hoped in turn he didn't notice that she was.

"The goal is to make sure we preserve as much life as possible, let the turrets and droids do their jobs. No one try to be a hero... A-"

'Coming from the one that's about to try a strafing run without support?'

She stared a moment, then nodded slowly.

"Yes, coming from me... I'll do what I need to do, you guys do what you need to do. I have to go get prepped..."

She said unceremoniously, stepping aside, and slowly trekking out of course forced to walk past Darth Strosius Darth Strosius whom she pretended to not see, while being very aware of their proximity.

Another being was picked up by their scent entering into the room of the Hutt Lorda. The Glowing Orange Eyes of the Saruton would stare deep at the small imp in front of the lounger. Trying to see if the imp would attempt to assassinate the hutt while he wasn't looking. The Saruton was an enforcer typically for the hutt regimes but he also had an unpredictable nature. This allowed him to change sides or use other methods without consequences from anyone else within the Bounty Hunter's Guild.

After checking the barrel of his DLT-19 Heavy Blaster Rifle to make sure that it was working and wouldn't jam during the conflict. The Saruton would walk to the throne of Strako the Hutt. Hooking his heavy blaster rifle onto his his shoulder with a brown strap that connected to his bandolier. He did not come unprepared having equipped himself with the power suit known as the DZ 17x Nemesis which provided full body protection against kinetic and energy attacks. Although this variant was customized by him to better fit his massive frame. His belt contained a holster for his Dissuader KD-30 as his secondary weapon in the event that his main weapon failed him.

He now waited for details from the Lorda of the Three Clans of Darvannis. The chance to devour slaves was pleasing to the beast after his recent success in assassinating colonel dragmire on coruscant. Although he himself had to lay low within the underworld to avoid being arrested and detained by Alliance Marshals. Although his reputation made accomplishing such a feat near impossible due to his habit of leaving nothing behind but bones.

<<Strako the Hutt's POV>>

The Hutt Lorda was on his throne within the palace, overlooking the slave girls dancing in front of himself. His gaze looked down from their performance when the imp arrived within the halls. Promising their service in putting down this rebellion against the rightful authority of the Hutt Clans who controlled the planet away from the Silver Jedi Concord's authority and laws. He knew well that his authority within the galaxy was limited and he was determined to keep the planet underneath his thrall.

Looking over with his silvery grey eyes towards the Saruton Mercenary and now the imp within his charge. <<The Mighty Strako the Hutt will accept your offer of service in putting down this rebellion. My spies have just returned from scouting the Ancient Zakuul Factory and have alerted me to the number of their forces.>> Strako said in ancient huttese to them both, not yet revealing such information until more people arrived due to his summons.

Taking his slimy hand and dipping it within his frog bowel, he would munch on the treat with slime pouring from his mouth in a disgusting display. Pointing towards the backside of his throne room to an information board. <<That is where the details of the factory are located, record the information then rejoin me over here for the briefing.>> Lord Strako further added, resting his bulk back down on the lounger with a slight creek due to his weight.

[Small Hutt Task Force]

The Small Hutt Task Force was nearly within the range of the Ancient Zakuul Factory preparing to engage with the Skytroopers and Slaves within. Within this task force was made up of 10 WLO-5 Speeder Tank and 200 Scrapper-Series Battle Droids commanded by regimental officers. This Task Force would begin their assault on the compound, beginning to lay siege to the factory. Although this task force was designed to provoke a response from the slave rebellion and gauge their numbers for the mercenary armies preparing to arrive from Strako the Hutt's Palace.

The battle had begun

The protocol droid translated Strako’s Huttese to Basic as his master spoke. All the while, Sisserith listened intently, before shifting her attention towards the information board at the rear of the throne room. Then, at the Hutt’s allowance, the tiny Impess pulled out her OmniLink and moved closer to the board, quickly studying the information before downloading it to her OmniLink. Immediately, the device gave her a full map of the factory’s interior and exterior layout, along with reconnaissance data and various other projections.

She was relieved to know that they wouldn’t be going in blind.

Before long, Sisserith moved to rejoin the Lorda before his throne, making sure to stay out of the Saruton’s path in the process. Once she returned, she set her OmniLink to project the holomap of the factory and its surroundings. With a swift hand gesture, she zoomed in on the entrances, intending to study the exterior defenses first, before anything else.

“This is acceptable, Mighty Strako.” Sisserith said, as her eyes pored over the holomap, before shutting it off with a swift gesture. “Have any numerical estimates been made for the enemy’s strength, compared to our own? What assets will we have at our disposal?”

A tall, black-clad figure strode from the shuttle, vibro-ax in hand, and entered the Hutt palace to which he and many others had been summoned. He wore a large cloak draped over a suit of heavy armor, serving to accentuate his already-bulky profile. A blaster pistol could be seen holstered on his leg; clipped to the other side of his belt, concealed by his cloak, his lightsaber clinked lightly as he moved. Falleen features could clearly be seen beneath his hood.

Xzinn suppressed an expression of disgust as he entered the palace proper. There sat Strako the Hutt perched upon his throne, jiggling and writhing as he fed himself like the slimy, corpulent slug he was. Part of the young Sith could empathize with the rebel slaves he had been hired to help subjugate. He had been a slave once as well, and just like them he sought desperately to free himself from the control of the Hutts who ruled his entire life. In another circumstance he might have aided them as he had been aided, giving them the chance to fight and break their chains. This time, though, he had seen an opportunity not only to access ancient Zakuulan technology, but also to forge underworld connections with the Hutt clans. If the price of that was putting these slaves back in the dirt, then so be it.

Nearby Xzinn noted the towering presence of Strako's Saruton enforcer, a beast whose reputation for violence, and especially for eating his enemies, preceded him. The giant reptilian had left a string of bodies across Imperial and Alliance space, and Xzinn expected he'd be tearing through the rebellious slaves with the same ferocity soon enough.

He kept an eye on the Saruton for a moment, studying him as he cleaned and prepped his gear, then went to check the indicated information board. Once satisfied he returned to the area in front of Strako's throne, waiting for the Hutt Lorda to speak once more.

Lirka had missed having a good war, even it was something as small scale as a simple slave revolt: the last time she had really fought in something like this was Rhand, and that had been quite the disaster in the end. But she hid her bliss well, the scum she surrounded herself with had no reason to gleam such things. Instead Lirka stood as a near immobile sentinel, accompanied only by the soft whirring of the mechanisms within her power suit: silently she watched the scum deliberate over the factory.

A waste of time.

They should have struck them fast and hard, rushed them down and crushed their leadership before they knew what hit them. But alas...the chance for such a thing had quickly passed. But, regardless of that fact, Lirka intended to voice her concerns regardless: the gruff and distorted voice didn't hide the fairly critical tone of it all.

"The longer we wait here, the stronger they will become."

She turned her head slowly to address the gathered lot of mercenaries, waiting to see if she'd find any agreement among them.

She had taken a moment to herself, sitting in the armory aboard The Cutter, staring blankly across the way at the wall on the other end. Today? Or not today? That was always the question wasn't it... Today, her armory was a lot lighter than it would normally be. She had left most of her armaments behind with her droid companion. Not telling him where she was going, and currently regretting it slightly. SOMNOL-716 SOMNOL-716 's snarky attitude was life most of the time. And beyond that, at this point she was comfortable calling him friend... A droid.

She smiled at the thought, a slight little grin that turned to her giggling to herself. He was going to be pissed if she got The Cutter blown up, but he would understand... Maybe, on the other hand Sommy was pragmatic enough to tell her how dumb it was to risk what was essentially their 'business' lifeline on people that probably couldn't replace the ship. Beyond that, she wasn't exactly... Rich, anymore. As her parents had effectually cut her off. Was that it? Was that why she was here?

Some childish outburst, if you wont help me I'll just go get myself killed fighting Hutts and psychopaths? Maybe... Maybe she just wanted a challenge. All of this chit had only gotten easier since she dumped a few million creds worth of tech into herself. As she sat there, she watched the back of her own hand, crunching her left hand into a fist before her eyes snapped the armaments that WERE left behind. It was time to get booted.

She started by taking off her clothes, fitting into the RA-2 undersuit, and giving her own chest a very light series of fist thuds. Making sure it was taut. Once done, she moved to the dock station for the RA-2 Medium Assault Armor; hoisting herself up, then sliding down into the suit via help from the docking station. With that, she stopped a moment, bringing it online and running through her diagnostics before stepping the suit off of the platform. The loud whirring thuds barely audible to her from inside. Next was her weapons, and she began to move with some gusto. Adrenaline leaking into her system. Though she knew she had to keep as calm as possible. Last thing she wanted in the middle of this was a food crash. She was dead if that happened, quite frankly.

Reaching up on the table, she grabbed a few (Four) Shiva Knives, slotting them in the Armor's pre-bored sheaths. She tested the panel covering them for defects, but it seemed good to go. Next, she picked up her HARM PDW, grabbing six seperate magazines for the weapon, and placing them directly on her armor's chest plate. Thinking about that for a moment, she would cant her head and move them to internal storage location. She was going to be a pretty big target, and a rocket was a rocket.

She paced back and forth for a moment, psyching herself. She didn't like gore, but she was learning to be more comfortable with seeing carnage. She moved back to the other side of the ship, and gathered the last items she was going to bring, fitting a pair of highly customized Vibroblades on her back. That was all she had brought, and she couldn't help but feel like she should've brought more. Well, luckily blades didn't need ammo. And she could always pop someone's head like a grape if push came to shove.

The last thing she would do, is slot out the default facemask on the RA-2 and use her own custom model. A little more fearsome, a little more personalized.

The meeting room wasn't too hard to find, although he did get sidetracked on the way there once or twice, so he managed to get in and listen as the leaders made their plans. The masked Sith had no intent of getting involved with such things, preferring to simply wait by the door and see where the front line would be. Strategy wasn't his strong suit and he had little interest in barging in and risking the lives of the brave slaves just because he wanted to be a part of the planning.

He was a bit surprised as Iella Sunscream Iella Sunscream stepped forward and simply wiped away the existing plan without much debate, raising an eyebrow at the action. Her new plan would be more efficient thankfully, and with any luck the droids would be taking the brunt of enemy fire instead of the slaves if all went according to plan. Alisteri had his doubts on the strafing run but said nothing about it.

It wasn't his place to deter someone else risking life and limb after all. And if it wound up working out then all the better.

Of course he noticed how Iella Sunscream Iella Sunscream paused her gaze on him for a moment, and he merely held his head high and gave little indication of it. Perhaps she recognized his apparel as that of a Sith? It mattered little, for she didn't comment on it. He certainly wasn't about to advertise himself before the fighting started, lest the rebels get the wrong impression and assume that he was some sort of infiltrator. Sith didn't exactly have a reputation for helping rebels.

He chose not to make a fuss as she passed him, only offering a nod of acknowledgment before his gaze returned to the battle-plan. "Well then, I'll see you all on the battlefield." Alisteri would let the defenders decide where they would make their stands without him, he knew roughly what could be defended and what couldn't.

Before he could make his leave from the room however, an alert sounded off. A proximity alert. Everyone in the room at once knew that it meant some sort of force was heading their way, and the Sith didn't wait to find out how large it was.

His cloak billowed behind him as he rushed from the command center towards the nearest exit, the message of incoming enemies soon spreading throughout the ranks of the slaves followed by urgent preparations for defense. Many were scared, resolute, or making a brave face. As for Alisteri, he for one couldn't wait to choke the life out of whatever was awaiting him beyond the factory walls.

Upon the instructions of the Hutt Lorda Strako, the Saruton Mercenary would walk over to the information board a little bit after the imp got their data. Taking out his own connection port into his imagecaster and downloading the profile of the factory. On the return trip back to the Throne of the Mighty Hutt Lord, he spotted a falleen not due to his facial features but by his distinct odor which alerted the Saruton. Once the imp brought up the image to the factory which included details of the layout and other important factors which might dampen their overall mission effectiveness.

The Saruton would study the layout of the factory, looking over to a certain someone within their armor. They had spoken out logically that the longer that they waited to attack, the more powerful their overall enemy would become. The Saruton happened to agree with the statement, peering over to the Hutt Lorda on his throne. He had worked for strako for a considerable amount of time, acting as his enforcer while not on commission for the Hutt Space Consortium. The subtle snarling of his mouth would alert the hutt lorda to his displeasure. Which meant in this case that he should hurry up and explain.

<<Strako the Hutt's POV>>

The Hutt Lorda would watch both his saruton enforcer and the imp head over to the information board as he turned his bulk some more within the chair. Looking over as a falleen joined them. He noted another person within the back which voiced their opinion that the longer that they waited the more powerful their joint enemy would become. Strako had to agree no doubt helped by the subtle threat by his saruton enforcer that he was growing impatient. While the Hutt Lorda could count on his bodyguards to protect him from the enforcer should his temper overpower his reasoning. The Power and Strength of the Saruton would be tough to bring down. So he would keep this briefing short and explain more details on the way over to the factory itself.

<<Currently there are about 700,000 slaves on Darvannis split into 7 worker camps. 4 of these camps have rebelled against my rule which should total around 400,000 slaves in total combined with the skytroopers. I called in a loan with the Qunaalac Kajidic to acquire around 50,000 enforcers to arrive here to join my army of around 30,000.>> Mighty Strako explained to the imp who asked the question, although not detailing the assets that they will have at their disposal until they were making the journey over there.

<<Assets will be explained within the transportation that I have provided, A Tatooine Repulsor Train has been purchased from the pyke syndicate. It will transport you and a small army to the factory to lay siege. The rest of the details will be provided as you make your way through the dunes. You are dismissed>> Mighty Strako further added to answer her question, pointing over to the entrance with his slimy hand. Gesturing them to the exit of his throne room which would take them down into the hanger bays which housed the tatooine repulsor train. It having already been loaded with his elite forces to carry them along.

[Small Hutt Task Force]

The 10 WLO-5 Speeder Tanks would enter into a wedge formation near the eastern side of the factory. Beginning to use their main cannon armament to blast away at the shielding which had been restored over the factory itself. While the 200 strong force of the Scrapper-Series Battle Droid would split into 4 different regiments of 50 each. Marching through the shield due to their slow speed and beginning to fight with the skytroopers inside. Looking to use their superior numbers to overwhelm the better skytroopers.

Meanwhile within the Hutt's Palace, the 80,000 strong army of the Hutt Clan would begin making preparations to join the mercenaries at the factory. Although since they were a large army made up of different thugs and enforcers, getting them to the battlefield would take time. But they would arrive before the battle ended to secure the factory for the hutt clans.

Sisserith smelled the Fallen long before she saw him, the passive aura of his pheromones causing the Sithspawn’s hypersensitive nostrils to twitch before she turned towards the being’s direction, briefly caught by his handsome, muscular features. In contrast, the hulking Sephi exuded an almost chemical, perhaps even rotting smell, weak enough that it would have failed to register in the olfactory receptors of an unaugmented human, but strong enough that Sisserith could distinguish it. Without a doubt, this was a motley group and trust would likely be nonexistent. These were all dangerous, lethal warriors, to the point that the diminutive Seseli felt outmatched even with her heavy armament.

In the event that something went wrong with the mission that involved these apex predators turning on her or each other, Sisserith knew that she would need to be ready to leave. However, if the dark side’s tempestuous tides rolled in her favor, maybe this wouldn’t become another Loovria.

Hearing the Sephi’s blunt bloodthirst, Sisserith fell silent and let the briefing play out. From there, Sisserith followed the Hutt’s enforcers down to the hangar bays, before stepping inside the repulsor train and taking her seat. Before long, an alert sounded inside the cabin and Sisserith felt it lurch as the train began to accelerate. All the while, checking her weapons for the third time within the last hour, the Sithspawn’s nostrils flared as her nerves began to tighten with sensation, a familiar escalation of her senses prior to the spilling of blood.

Xzinn nodded silent agreement with the armored mercenary who had spoken up. If the rebels were in control of a functional factory that was pumping out droid soldiers of some sort, then time was of the essence. He suspected that the Sephi was hoping to simply charge into the maw of the enemy and tear them to shreds, as if it would be that simple. A tactical assessment would be necessary, particularly given the disparity in numbers between the opposing sides, but the way this slimy Hutt took his time with it, the way he spoke so dismissively, the way he withheld information until he decided it was necessary, all of it caused a twinge of anger to stir in his gut.

He considered speaking up, but decided against it. Best to leave the ridiculously-dressed slug to whatever it was he did. Best to let it fuel him. There was work to do, blood to spill.

The Falleen man followed the rest of the assorted scum and villainy onto the repulsor train, finding a place to sit and wait. Xzinn placed his helmet on his lab and took a moment to examine his gear. There wasn't much to prepare on his part. He had a vibro-ax he already knew was ready for action, a blaster pistol and a number of power packs for it, but neither was truly important. Indeed, he fully expected to eventually throw both aside and draw his lightsaber, carving through the ranks of the enemy with its crimson blade.

Instead Xzinn used the time to look at some of the other hired killers he'd found himself sharing common cause with. His eyes stopped on the imp woman sitting a short distance from him. Her highly feminine features and figure would have caught his eye at just about any time, but that combined with her diminutive stature made her stand out all the more. Still, she was heavily armed and certainly acted like she belonged there as much as anyone else did. More than that, Xzinn could feel that the Dark Side of the Force touched her, though it was different from other Sith he'd known. Unable to fully understand or articulate that difference, he leaned back with a sigh and stared at the ceiling of the train car, silently cursing his own ignorance.

No matter. All there was to do now was wait.

Silence followed Lirka now, she had said her opinions on the ridiculous nature of the whole thing. Leave it to a Hutt, of course. But the pay was good, and that's all she needed. She could argue the tactics of the whole thing later, not like she expected any of the worms here to truly understand her brutality. Maybe the Sith could've, but they had grown soft since they had been stomped into the shadows: not that she could particularly blame them, the Maw had taken the mantle of despoilers now, loathe as she was to admit it. And while "Grand Moff Lirka Ka" never made it into any history books, she intended to remind her audience of trash that there was no such softness within her cold, dead, heart.

The whole plan was moronic, that was the only thought that filled her head as the Hutt finished up informing them. They should've launched a full scale assault and overwhelmed the slaves, they were just slaves after all, far from true warriors. But alas, she would have to make due with what the Hutt had given them, already a few schemes filled her head as the gathered mercenaries boarded the train.

"Perhaps if we rammed the train..."

She mused to herself aloud: if for nothing else, to see if it made the weaker among the gang squirm. Even Lirka liked to have some harmless fun every now and then, or at least as "harmless" as she could muster. After her statement, she found a comfortable spot to stand before mag-locking her boots to the floor for the ride to come. She looked over the gang one more time, impressed with some, much less impressed with others. If nothing else, they could take a few hits for her when the battle really began.

Thumping her chest a few times, Lirka spoke something to the void in her strange alien language. A cry to the Dark to witness her butchery once again, to shine its blessings once more upon its-once-chosen. A call to nothingness.
