SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Body glove/Undersuit contains all of the electronics, CMAS, and BMCS architecture. This is where the magic happens and the suit becomes a weapon on the field. With the combination of CMAS paired with BMCS to make controls an absolute breeze, this power armor gives unparalleled accuracy, speed, and strength compared to other armors its size. And while it takes a little bit for the computer to recognize the wearer's movements and actions, in relatively no time at all, you'll be able to sprint like you're wearing nothing, lift something several tons, and soar like a bird of prey through the sky. And it all is based off of body/muscle movements, thought controls, and specific nerves firing throughout the suit making it as simple to learn as walking. Before long your soldiers won't even have to consciously think about what they're doing, and the suit will just know exactly what it is they want to do. This suit also has the accuracy with this system to in one moment punch through a ferrocrete wall and in the next moment caress someone's face like a lover.
  • Suit uses an AR suite in the helmet to display tactical data and information to the user, relying on multiple optical, thermal, UV and more sensors to give a soldier a real time projection of the scene in front of him. And with no visor there is no longer a "weak point" where the user can be targeted, making the user's head overall more safe. Not to mention this allows for the user to cycle through vision modes on the fly, ensuring they have the best view of the situation, regardless of the environmental conditions. Alongside this is an entirely customizable HUD allowing for the operator to receive as much or as little data on the combat zone as desired, including with making several AR screens to display data when necessary that the operator can call up on command.
  • Due to the suit's accuracy with the hand actuators this suit can utilize most if not all infantry based weapon systems. This allows for the operators of this suit and command structure to not have to create specialized weaponry for this power, and instead they can use most if not all standard weapon systems with ease. To compensate for the fact that the suit doesn't allow for the user to aim down the sights of most weapons, it can either project a reticule for the operator based on the weapon they're holding, or for specially designed optics, it can interface with them to give the operator an in scope view of the optic.
  • Wind Talker Class Communicator on the suit not only provides top of the line soldier to soldier communications, but also doubles as a BluFor (friendly forces) tracker, allowing for soldiers to receive real time data on the location, strength and equipment of friendly soldiers in the area. This allows for unprecedented coordination between friendly forces as they can also use it to send and receive data about spotted enemy forces. And with this level of communication across all units of the RA2-M, you can mobilize, attack and counter very large enemy forces quite effectively with precision strikes.
  • Luft life support systems aboard this suit gives the operator a worry free experience whether they are in space, underwater, or in a compromised environment with a near limitless supply of recycled air to breath. And while you can choose to allow outside air to cycle through a series of filters into the system, you can immediately cut that supply off at the first sign of trouble with either toxins, biological terrors, or any other nasties trying to infect you via what you're breathing.
  • Multiple Isotope-5A micro-reactors provide this suit extreme amounts of power regardless of whatever it's doing. So whether the suit is going into a low power mode to just trek across the plains, or is at full power in a combat zone, it will not want for power at all.
  • Omnisiah processing units form the basis for the computing module of the suit allowing their raw ability to chew through data and adaptively get even better at doing so make the suit get even more responsive as time progresses with its operator. These processing units allow for the suit to be able to take in massive amounts of data from its various sensors and nodes and get the entirety of the suit to work in synchronous harmony.
  • FM-002 construction in this armor piece makes it entirely force dead and therefore immune to machinations or alterations from other force users with their space magic. This means attacks won't be able to actually target this armor as this armor isn't connected to the force, at all and as such neither are the wearers.
  • Boots allow for the use of magnetic boot locking technology to assist with Zero-G operations along with anti-slip treads to increase grip on otherwise slippery surfaces to include ice.
  • Voice enunciation system also includes a universal translator system that houses over six hundred languages in its database allowing for not only translation but also speech from the helmet mounted loud speaker system so that the operator in the armor can interact with any and all species encountered.

STRENGTHS
  • Great all around environmental protections: This suit works extremely well as an enviro-suit in a variety of situations. This is due to the wide spectrum of protections, such as the vacuum of space, radiation, even environmentally compromised planets devastated by war. This suit is even rated for underwater use as a dive suit, fins not included.
  • Unlimited air: This suit can either use filters to bring in outside air, if you want, or has an onboard air recycling system that gives the operator an unlimited supply of recycled air.
  • Force Dead: Is some pesky space wizard trying to drive you mad? Or "sense" you? Yeah with this suit they won't be able to.
WEAKNESSES
  • It's not rated as combat armor: This suit is very weak against energy and kinetic weapons carried by standard soldiers in the field. This means that if someone shoots you while you're wearing this suit, all those environmental protections will go away because the seal will be broken. You've been warned.
  • Force Dead: Force users be warned, this will forcibly cut you off from the force while worn. As in you can't use your fancy powers while wearing this suit.
DESCRIPTION
The RA2-M started out with a problem that plagues most dismounts in urban combat. The vertical nature of urban warfare, and most populated battle zones in general, was that it was more than like a maze for dismounts to navigate without heavy equipment. And if you brought heavy equipment, you placed a massive bullseye on your position for every artillery piece in that particular hemisphere. This problem presents several challenges, as sure you could just deploy smaller heavies to support the infantry that is more mobile, but it doesn't change that obstacles are still in your way. Freebirds initially thought to mount a jet pack to standard trooper armor, but then decided that wasn't enough. As now the soldier was in the air, which meant they needed a lot more armor. Which made them heavier, and so on and so forth until they decided a brand new solution was needed. And so, the creation of the RA2-M was initialized. The first thing they decided to do was make a suit of power armor that was a bit larger than standard power armor to incorporate all of the necessary technologies and power necessary to make this suit work as in intended.

They were going to make the infantry in these suits, the tanks.

They would start with the body glove and skeletal structure, using the BMCS and FM-002 to form the basis of the suit's control system. This along with a centralized power core of three Isotope-5A micro-reactors next to a central computing unit with multiple Omnisiah processing units with all of the necessary computer components to ensure the rest of the armor works. They would then begin to layer the body glove with laminates of FM-001, FM-002, and then FM-003 for connections between the centralized brain and all of the sensory nodes. Then on top of this is the layers of CMAS to form the muscles and necessary moving parts of the entirety of the power armor. On top of all of this there was another layer of FM-001 and FM-002 to ensure that outside contaminates didn't interfere with the electronics or damage the suit's internals.

These suits as a standalone product were definitely great products, and as such made great powered environmental suits that let users lift more, run faster and jump higher than ever before.
