DESCRIPTION
With their ammunition line for pistols and rifles and their large caliber ammunition line the designers at Hekler'Kok decided to make yet another ammunition line to fit into another niche. For this line they picked the venerable scattergun to make this new line for and used their previous research on both their small arms and large caliber ammunition line.

When it came to the materials used for the line it was decided that all shells would use the heat resistant polymer created for the small arms line for the casing while the rim was made of Durasteel. When it came to the exact materials used for each separate shell type they decided to tackle this on a individual basis.

The first type they designed was the standard buckshot, an all around shell of sorts. The size of buckshot they decided on was the basic double aught with each shell Alusteel pellets weighing about fifty grams each, with the amount of pellets per shell increasing as the gauge increase. As a way of distinguishing shells between each other it was at this point that the Hekler'Kok design team color coded each shell, with buckshot being red.

Next came birdshot, a type of shells that was more suited for small game hunting and pest control. The size of this shell they chose was the B variety, containing seventy two pellets weighing about a half gram each. The color of this shell was chosen as green.

The third shell to be developed was the slug, meant to be more of a precision shell and designed to also hunt larger game. The slug was made of Alusteel and the size increases with the size of the gauge as well. The color of this shell was chosen as blue.

Next came the breaching slug shell, the first specialized shell that is designed for breaching barriers, doors and anything else that need to be accessed. This shell is similar to a normal slug but is constructed instead out of Quadanium Steel as it is more dense, though it is designed to shatter after destroying what it is fired at as to not overpentrate and hurt anyone that might not be harmful to possible non-combatants. The color of this shell was chosen as black.

Next was the baton shell, a non-lethal shell designed for use by police and others. Consisting of basically a cylinder of soft rubber that once fired spins so it hits lengthwise to increase impact area and therefore decrease the possibility of injury. The color of this shell was chosen as white.

The second to last shell to be designed was the explosive shell. The explosive shell consists of what is basically a hollow slug that is filled with three grams baradium that acts as the main explosive first and an impact fuze, being designed to destroy light vehicles, barriers that the breaching slug couldn't breach and detonating explosives from range. The color of this shell was chosen as purple.

The last shell to be designed was the incendiary shell. The incendiary shell is filled with magnesium pellets that once fired are ignited sending a jet of flames down range. The color of this shell was chosen as orange.
