• Ashstep: Like a wolf slipping through fire, the vessel relies on agility rather than armor. Designed to outmaneuver incoming heavy fire, it can evade many long-range capital-scale attacks that would threaten other Star Destroyers.
• Blazewolf: Fueled by engines as relentless as a wildfire, the ship is slightly faster than most Star Destroyers of its size, allowing it to dictate the pace of battle.
• Emberbound: Bound to the ever-burning Aesir System, the vessel achieves remarkable efficiency through automation, requiring a significantly smaller crew than most Star Destroyers of its class.

• Scorched Hide: While the vessel can evade most heavy attacks, a significant strike can still inflict devastating damage.
• Doused Flame: A successful EMP strike can disable the Aesir System, stripping the ship of the automation that defines its greatest strengths.
• Wolf Surrounded: Despite its agility, the vessel cannot match the speed and maneuverability of smaller craft. Enemy fighters and corvettes that close the distance can inflict significant damage.

As the Second Legion continued to grow, Gerwald Lechner recognized that a single command ship could no longer effectively direct every battlefield under his authority. Campaigns had become larger, battle lines more dispersed, and opportunities too numerous for every decision to flow through the Dread Wolf alone.

The answer was not another officer.

It was another pack leader.

Having proven itself across countless engagements, the Lycan-class Star Destroyer became the natural choice for the legion's secondary command vessel. Fast enough to reposition wherever the battle demanded and powerful enough to stand beside the largest warships in the Sith fleet, it reflected the philosophy upon which the Second Legion had been built: strike hard, remain mobile, and never allow the enemy a moment to recover.

When the vessel entered service, Gerwald entrusted its command to his apprentice.

The appointment carried far greater weight than the title of captain. Along with the destroyer came a permanent crew drawn from veterans of the Second Legion and a warband assigned to fight beneath her banner wherever the legion deployed. Though they remained part of Gerwald's greater command, she possessed complete authority over her ship and those sworn to it, free to prosecute campaigns, respond to changing battlefields, and act independently whenever the situation demanded.

It was a responsibility Gerwald granted to few.

He had spent years forging his apprentice through hardship, victory, and failure alike. She had earned more than his confidence; she had earned his trust. Where Gerwald could not be, she would carry the will of the Dread Wolf, commanding with the same decisiveness that had forged the Second Legion into one of the Sith Order's most respected military forces.

Within the legion, the arrangement became known simply as the Second Fang.

Where the Dread Wolf hunted, another wolf now ran at his side. Together, the two command ships allowed the Second Legion to fight as a coordinated pack, each capable of supporting the other, yet equally capable of leading the hunt alone.
