Annihilation The Imperial March

Even with a helmet on, it was clear that Veno bore an incredulous look. Offended, if even his voice alone was the sole indicator for that, in saying, "I'm a master assassin from the guild. Before Solipsis brought me into the fold, Fel and his motley Force-hating crew gave me the job of being his own personal assassin."

He shook his head, "Can I fight... Don't make me laugh, no one on this whole planet is more dangerous than Veno of Bayamar. I'll tell you that much."

"Only thing I've ever seen you do is be a nuisance."

Kordé Kordé

Korde lagged behind him to a stop as Veno carried on yapping, beating his chest. She ran a hand from the top of her head towards Veno's, mockingly measuring their miniscule height difference. He was, what, about two, three inches taller? In a galaxy where the average sentient height, regardless of species, drifted around 6'3, 6'4, hell even 7 foot wasn't cutting it on some of those dating apps she browsed for law-abiding citizens to rob, Veno was, by all means, not only a dirty rat, but also a short, dirty rat.

A mouse, really.

Korde fell in step beside him, saying, "Alright, master assassin," highlighting the first syllable of the latest word, "can you boost a shuttle?..."

"... you know, without wriggling yourself through its exhaust port?"

Veno Veno

He stopped to glare, scoffing righteously.

"Name it, I can boost it." Veno might have embellished his skillset, but in the presence of an inferior there was no one to correct him. "This time, I fly the ship out of here. Just make sure to do what I tell you and we might make it off this rock before the admirals up above," he pointed skyward, lazily, "Become a little too eager to press the big red button."

It was then, however, the big red button was pressed. One of the Galactic Alliance's super star destroyers was struck with a pulsing green beam, obliterating it the ship in an instant. It break apart into a flaming wreck, with an ear-splitting crack descending over the bickering duo.

Veno laughed in what came across more akin to a cackle, muttering lowly, "I'm not dying here. C'mon."

WRATH OF GOD
4

Approaching the Spire, Mirai Jar'Kai,
Atrisia, Galactic Core Territories (903 ABY)

'You sure the unarmed approach is wise, Your Majesty?'
'We're unafilliated assistance, its the wisest play these sentries could possibly make. Don't judge them.'

'Alright then, I guess we'll see you back at North Garrison HQ.'

Parting ways with customary fist-over-heart salutes, the Lord Imperator would then turn to find the welcome sight of nods exchanged between Major Roy and the senties holding that sector, smiling as he approached to exchange nods of his own, the negotiations would begin with a silence that indicated the old Woad was welcome to speak for himself. The local garrison units were happy enough to see Colonel Ito among them, in good spirits and accepting of salutes from among the sentries, making it clear that their holdup was more likely to be curiosity than protocol, though Barran had no qualms with calming tensions with a morsel or two of his intentions there that day.

The old Woad was smart enough to let the repulsorlift engines quieten with distance first, letting the din of propulsion die down enough to speak in a quieter, more respectful tone, as there would be no room for error (or misconceptions-) that day, this truth of which had eerily followed Michael around since he landed. Such things would keep the old Woad on the right track, thus he felt no pressure to act in the spirit of transparency, granting sincerity at a time when it was needed most; bridging gaps that had widened for decades until then, but there were more yet to cross, and on higher echelons at that.

'I'm heading to the Spire, gentlemen. I intend to coordinate the Protectorate's part in the resupply, rearmament, and reinforcement of the city's defenders - we hold all the right routes for now. Thats two main routes, an' these split of to another two from each, making four differing pathways to the frontlines.... Here's to hoping the lines aren't pushed back any time soon, as there are multiple counteroffensive efforts I need to assist today.'
'Thank you, sir. We'll share this intel with the troops on the ground.', the group's Master-Sergeant responded with an appreciative smirk, trailing off to turn and signal for their pointman to move up, only then turning round to conclude,'Meanwhile, our resident Zabrak here will take you where you need to go, and on the way, he'll tell you things that you, Barran, need to know.... Quickly, now!'. The sight of a potential OPFOR breakthrough was spotted in the distance, and nobody there was in the mood to take unnecessary risks, and certainly not with a high-ranking foreign official in their midst, after all, if ever such whims struck home - there were always wiser ways to take one's self off the career-track.

'Good luck, folks!'
'Appreciated!'

As the old Woad departed the sentries' company, passing through the energy shield with accompanying, supervised clearance, he initially worried; but after seeing the firepower on display, Michael chuckled to himself as he turned back toward the approach to the Spire, assuring his faith in their soldiering ability whilst wondering about the quiet Zabrak at the same time. It was a strange occurrence in the encounter's final moments, and not only in the fact the sentries knew exactly who he was, but also in the fact their own pointman knew things that were worth sharing, almost as if this squad had discussed this issue at length already.

'Mate, what was that about?'
'Huh? Oh, the thing! Right.... Well, only way to say it - we both got somethin' in common, it ain't pretty neither.'
The conversation would have continued on from there, if it was not for the hushing finger the Zabrak had put over his own lips, signalling a very acute need for discretion, momentary though it might have been. Giving the old Human all the reason to obey, as it only seemed to further-intensify his curiosity on the matter, and when they silently passed by at least three checkpoints with courtesies and small-talk, Barran knew this information had not been brought to fore as common-knowledge. Ground as yet untested, and when the Zabrak finally stopped in a quiet spot to speak in hushed tones, it was almost obvious by the time he finally admitted,'Our elder brothers are Mawites, and we wanna kill 'em both.', revealing a hidden resolve that went far deeper than mere affiliation.

'And who might you be, hm? Give me a real name, not a callsign.'
'I'm Aar Korath, and in time, you'll find my brother, Uun, will become a problem - don't say I didn't warn ya.'

Moving on from there, Aar and Michael would continue to talk in hushed tones with each other, and minutes would pass before they finally reached the Spire's ground-floor entrance, though everything they would want to say had been discussed to natural conclusions by then. Korath would then bring them to a halt, waving to the garrison checkpoint beyond before he muttered,'Until next time, Barran. Expect me on Nirauan just before the year's end.', parting with a nod before he made to sprint back to his unit, leaving the Tattered Regent with sentries who would supervise his lift-ascent to the tower's command center.

'Right this way, sir.... Unarmed, I assume.'
'Gear's outside the energy-shield, lads. Your peers were careful.'

'Good.... Follow on to the main slide, no funny business!'

5 MINUTES LATER

[Hssss]
[CLUNK]

'This one arrived unannounced to the perimeter, sir. But he has been complying since.'
'My only intention is to aid in coordinating the city's defence, thats all. Relax, lads.'

'I was told one Zark San Tekka was appointed command-authority here, my only intention is to help, in any way I can.', the old Woad explained, and as eloquently as possible, so as not to leave any confusions as to what intent was being stated. Deescalation was the aim from the start, though he knew it would not be an easy task to calm tensions, and especially not whilst carrying New-Imperial seals on his attire at the time; but Michael persevered, and with hands raised for all to see, reassured everyone around him at the time. The guards were showing their wisdom, carefully erring against relenting until Barran finally uttered,'As my old man once said,"Civilisation stands!", and I intend to honour that boast of intent.', sensing the merit in calming tensions with their own good reasoning.

'Requesting permission to leave Barran in your keeping, sir.... He seems compliant enough.'

"Sir."

The words snapped him out of his trance. Sid had assembled a few platoons worth of Stormtroopers, some who had survived the drop and were essentially leftovers. He coalesced them into a single unit, under his Recon detachment, which now had become a rather ugly thorn in the Alliance's side in the city.

He made a mental note as his company-sized element hustled through the streets, himself at the forefront. The 9-1-9, the Recon element, was at the front with the regular Stormtroopers at the rear. The heavier elements of the group, the few anti-tank and machine gunners he had with them, were also in the rear. He didn't have much, but he did have experienced troops.

He opened a comm channel. He was roughly four blocks from the theater. His voice had the distinct sound of the distortion from his helmet, his slick black armor with only a small green portion on the front. His HUD alerted him to nearby chemical contaminants and reminded him to keep his helmet sealed. He gestured the alert away with a flick of his eyes and pushed forward.

"774, this is Lieutenant Berik. Hold your position."

He was roughly four hundred meters away when he saw it- the terrifying power of the Jedi on full display. The cloud of gas- what he assumed to be a chemical agent of some kind, was whisked away. He realized the situation, quickly, analyzing what was going on- the Alliance was pushing into the theater, supported by machine gun fire, sweeping above their approach to pin down the trapped Imperials inside. Sid put down his rifle- sprinting to the rear of the formation, grabbing the rocket teams to urge them to come forward. He held his rifle down at his side, sprinting back to the front of the group. They spread out on the street, not quite noticed yet- and the distance they were meant that it was a long engagement for small-arms fire.

But, not for rockets. Sid gave a simple direction, two hands up, and gestured to the entrenched machine gun positions the Alliance had. The rocket teams loaded, made ready- and all at once, fired in unison. Sid turned his head and gave the order for the small arms to open up as well, suppressive, continuous fire from his troops- though at this distance, not entirely accurate. Blaster fire, and as soon as the heavy repeaters were setup- a heavy, steady volume of supporting fire. He turned his head towards a nearby building and ordered a recon team to clear it, while his troops opened up. He wanted the machine gun teams up high, angling down at the theater and more able to cover their approach.

In other words, Sid wanted to rain hell on the enemy.

LABOUR FOR THE EMPEROR AND THE CELESTIAL COURT
He gave more a look of pity. "Though if you are telling the truth then we can take it to the people in charge of the defense and let them know to decide. THe fight outside at the Spire is interesting but non-essential as it is apartments."

"I know I must, but the question is how."

She raised her head slightly more to look towards the gathering of the others, behind Rei.

"Can you lift me up, or walk me to them? Please."

There was an urgent need in the way she was intonating the words, as if they were already fighting against time. She was not sure how quickly the space station would be able to open fire again, so all the more pressed she felt to make her appeal quickly. The only problem being that she'd have to rely on the helpful man for further assistance, because her own legs were completely useless by that point.

Kat had indeed missed the entire show, but by the time she got to the building she could tell from the satisfied and adrenaline spiked look on her companions face that something cool had went down. The discarded imperials were also another hint. She gave him a lopsided grin as they started to push their way further into the building.

She could feel the waiting civilians in the Force, they were up one floor and huddled in a room together. The lift was out, because of course it was, so they took the stairs two at a time, their blood pumping as they climbed. With relief she realized nobody was hurt, but it was quit a larger group than expected.

"We are going to need a speeder or something to get these people out of harms way. No way we all make this on foot."

BELLUM CONTRA OMNES

e1RoOmw.png
WECMmgL.png

| Location | Jar'Kai, Atrisia
| Purpose | War
The cursed edge of Fellsong sliced through empty air as the Kiffar Jedi it was aiming for deftly over its lethal arc. The blade cleaved through stone as if it were nothing, shattering the wall from the oppressive strength of its wielder. Stone was sent scattering as the Sith Lord shifted his footing using the momentum of his swing, his hollow gaze locked onto the smaller Jedi who moved with impressive grace and agility in the face of death itself - where most cowered in the face of an insurmountable foe, this Jedi stood fast.
Good. He would make for a fine tribute to his cause.
Bellum expertly shifted his stance to deflect the incoming ninjato aimed for his elbow, using the flat of Fellsong's blade to shield it before using his own strength to deflect the blade away, sparks skittering as they clashed, a swift parry into a riposte to quickly regain ground. The Lord of War matched each of Kyric's swift probing strikes with unmatched precision, not a single movement wasted, as each strike was blocked in a continuous chain of blade clashing against blade, the Sith Lord using his greater reach to his advantage as he pressed forward with his onslaught to keep the Jedi on their back foot.
Death clung to his form like a haunted veil. Whether it unsettled his opponent and caused them to panic or mistake didn't matter. All that mattered to him was the thrill of battle and the gnawing hunger that wanted to burst from his chest. A desire so palpable that every swing of his blade echoed his will and hunger. His fighting style differed drastically than normal - Where he once moved with a slow and toying deliberation of his opponent as if playing with his prey, he now fought as a ravenous, frenzied onslaught as if to overwhelm his opponent both physically and psychologically.
Kyric Kyric
===================================================================
The Umbral Legion continued their assaults across the city, skirmishing and flanking the enemy. Where one legionnaire fell, the next fought with the strength and ferocity of their fallen comrades, their numbers replenishing as more stormed from smaller breaches forming to support them in pursuing their objectives. None were spared from the massacre; all those unfortunate to cross paths put down with cold and unrelenting indifference. All in the service of their master to return his gift of eternal service with death.
Imperial troops continued to pour out from the breaches created as the Imperial forces outside Jar'Kai continued to besiege the Great Wall. With the full focus of the Empire's wrath being visited upon Atrisia, there seemed to be no shortage of bodies thrown to claim the planet under Darth Solipsis Darth Solipsis 's banner. Five massive rifts began to form behind the advancing battle lines, an ominous sign of something greater readying to pass through and unleash hell upon the defenders.
Shadowy tendrils swarmed like frenzied sharks as they dug into the air and began to tear the rift wider with each passing moment of battle.

| Objective | No Mercy for the Dark
Shinzou smirked as the man before him began to speak and explain the circumstances. He didn't know who they were, not that it mattered to the Ashina, but the mention of Ishida was enough to justify that they had to go and be dealt with. He didn't buy into the whole fated encounter that the stranger was spouting, even if he was a Jedi, all that mattered was that he was the enemy.
He continued to silently listen as he rolled the toothpick between his fingers. Only when the Khan had finally stopped talking did he finally act. His robes flourished in a dazzling manner that masked his intent; a distraction as he threw out his arm and threw out the toothpick aimed right for his opponent's eye with deadly precision and speed, speed that was further enhanced by the Force as the toothpick shot at the Khan like a bullet.
Like many other tactics he employed in his fighting style, the toothpick was more a distraction than anything, the flashy flourishes of his robe and limbs concealing deadly intent as he launched himself at his opponent with equally blinding speed, hand on the hilt of his blade and ready to draw.

Ko’s own arrival was a bit too late to fight off the imperial soldiers that had been firebombing the gardens. Already most were being driven away from their positions, many seemingly abandoning their mortars. Likely because they wouldn’t be much use within the confines of a tomb.

The Kel Dor could feel other less noble beings within the blazing gardens. Brief surges of dark side energy popping out from the heat like water turning to steam within the many plants that burned and smoldered around him. A reminder of the unholy teamwork that seemed to be forced upon all those who opposed this Galactic Empire. It gave more credence to Ko’s belief that Empires like it were a true and genuine threat. So much so that it offered Sith the rarity to play hero, if only for a little. Like a spoiled dilettante of valor and righteousness.

So much chaos it was hard for the Jedi to think. Ko couldn’t see the super weapon that loomed overhead. The smoke concealed almost everything beyond his immediate surroundings. Thanks to his mask he wasn’t all that worried with inhaling the noxious fumes. If anything, the fires helped to use up the oxygen in the air around him. Making it easier for Ko to breathe through his mask. The jedi could find some cruel irony in that.

Still even with the oppressive smoke the Jedi still noticed a bright sickly green hue pierce through the fire and flames. For a brief moment Ko had believed that it was over. That he would be atomized along with the rest of the planet. But he was still here after the harsh glow of the super weapon’s wrath, and he realized that the planet wasn’t what was targeted. What followed was an unnerving sense of shame since Ko hadn’t felt dread over certain death, but a sense of relief. Which wasn’t reassuring for him.

"Do not let them desecrate this city, Ko. My instincts tell me the Emperor's acolytes have prepared some foul ritual. Deny the Empire. Purify the gardens with your connection to the light."

However Zark’s words came through for Ko and reminded him of what needed to be done. With the imperials retreating into the tombs it meant they were under siege, right here and right now him and his allies had time on their side. The soldiers could wait, the raging fire had no such patience. “Understood.” Ko muttered before deactivating his lightsaber and latching it back onto his belt.

Closing his eyes behind his goggles Ko reached into The Force to offer him guidance and insight that his eyes couldn’t. Relying on the Force to perceive the world around him and pierce through smoke. Giving him a clearer picture of what was destroyed, what was still worth saving and people still trapped.

Just before Ko acted a nearby Sith offered him a heads up for what was afoot. An illusion that wrapped around the garden. I spilled some into Ko’s Force Sight, but not enough to distract him too much, mostly making him aware of its presence.

Dashing through the flames and smoke Ko’s robes began to singe and burn across his body. He used the heat and energy to his advantage, focusing on passively internalizing, using The Force to absorb its power for himself. Eventually reaching a point within the gardens that was still untarnished and consumed by the inferno. With his single arm Ko struck the ground beneath him. Shaping the earth in such a way to create a long and narrow trench from himself to separate the encroaching fire from part of the garden. Functioning as a crude and rapid fire line. Seeking to control its spread rather than fight the fires themselves.

The galaxy needs its paragons and true believers. Those that can’t be shaken from the course.” He placed his hand on one of the stones as he looked between the pair. “But rest assured, we are not here to sling rocks around. Any jedi worth half a credit ought to be able to do that. No, here I want to see your conviction. Stone is slow to change. It possesses a strong will. Yours must be stronger.”

The memory of when Vulpesen taught him and several other students the ways of shaping the elements and altering the environment flashed through Ko’s mind. Remembering the foreign Master’s words as he acted to cut through the ground to manage the fire. Clashing one element against the other to save what remained of the garden and the militia it protected.

Hearing the simple advice Wrathian gave her, she didn't react. The words sank in deep, and she would do her best to be wise. Watching as he left the landing area, she moved out as well. While she didn't appreciate being called a child, she wasn't in any position to argue, and she didn't have any reason to. Giving him a nod, she kept her attention on the world around her.

Her focus went to Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis . His walk was steady, unhurried, and quite scary. For the teen, he wasn't like anybody she had seen before. Not this close, at least. He called out the end of her maste,r and she narrowed her eyes. That wasn't something she was going to allow.

He spoke of the past and a fight that had happened between them before Rellik had discovered her. Oddly, she sensed his words were true. The fight wasn't personal, and his target was the Diarch. Born from a fight she didn't know about, there was a rivalry, and it seemed this Sith wanted to end it.

As Rellik assured them through the Force, she stood up straighter and looked at the challenge in front of them. Maybe with a courage that was little more than bravado. This was her first real battle. The one on Coruscant, she had not been involved in; she had just witnessed it. This was entirely different.

Glancing briefly as Lyssara spoke, she agreed with the other woman. They would fight side by side and show this beast of a man what they could do. United, they were stronger. He was alone. The threat from Lyssara was clear, and Xian did not make any motion like that.

Keeping her knees locked so that she wouldn't fall or flee. A feeling of courage filled her. One enhanced by Battle Meditation. She didn't know where it was coming from, but she accepted the enhancements and smiled under her helmet. Lifting her chin, she listened as her master spoke to them and shared some additional bonding moments.

Following her instincts and doing what felt right, she would lift as much of the destroyed earth and hurl it at Prazutis. To the exact rune location, the ichor.

Speaking of ichor, it's time for me to use one of my little tricks. Our Master suggested staying at a distance against him, which I do. I then exchange my Dathomirian metal sword for a bow. Stretching an arrow along the handle of my bow, I aim at our enemy Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis at the runes. As the strategy dictates, I must first weaken them, which I do. With my Nightsister powers, I avoid fueling Prazutis and will contribute to weakening his runes. I fire my arrow, it goes off, then I begin firing a salvo.

The advantage is that I don't have a quiver; my ammunition depends on my ichor endurance. And it's high, so I don't have to worry about that. I put my ego aside and cooperate with the rest of the team, staying behind them, acting as a sniper. I can thank Nyva for her lessons in teaching me how to aim and fire firearms, which allows me to aim relatively close to the area I was targeting.

My goal is to help weaken the runes, so I deliver a good burst toward him. Attacking from a distance allows me to avoid head-on collisions. I leave that to Rellik and try to help him by creating an opening for him. I wonder how he'll counter all our coordinated assaults.

What's certain is that it'll really annoy him. It's better not to be in his seat when that happens, even if I don't have to worry too much about brute force. Now, however, I want to avoid feeding him as much as possible, so I focus exclusively on ichor and team play.

Staying focused, I use my index finger to aim and my dominant eye. The arrows fire one after the other. If necessary, I could always escape with a portal if the situation escalates, and I have a healing potion also provided by Nyva in my war arsenal. I have enough to heal myself while I wait for her to arrive. But I only have one, so I should use it wisely. If it were up to me, I would have already charged him, pff...

But, I have to work with the team, we're the Diarchy, and in the Diarchy, no one stays behind; everyone fights side by side and protects each other. My threat to him is a warning; I take this fight seriously, and I'm determined to get back at him.

'Hmph!'
As the toothpick came within but a few small milimetres from the one, remaining eye, the Khan couldn't help but stifle an appreciative chuckle as it dropped listlessly at his feet, inwardly praising that which amounted to a distraction after all, unable to deny it was quite a powerful distraction at that. Threefold as such with the follow-up (the real attack) considered, like a chant of call-and-response, in an opening offensive that felt like music, following succinct timing when Ashina deftly used the brief distraction to his advantage. Closing the distance between them with a lightning-quick lunge as his blade was drawn from her scabbard, singing with vicious intent, and Barran was all too aware of what that intent implied - an attempt to end the fight in one, cutting strike.

'Cheeky-'
[CLANG]
With a drop of his posture, and a simple leftward knee-lean, the Khan could lift his pommel to the right level that it met his opponent's blade in the middle, avoiding disaster twice in within that space between pulsations of the heart. However, it was not until Barran responded with a strong downward slice that he realised how close he came to distaster, as the responding strike was evaded in remarkably quick fashion, first in footwork, then in the mobility of his retreat from the full length of the Greatsword's blade. A marvel it would be to behold, if it had not come so close to ending a long, storied reign, thus in giving the one-eyed Atrisian his due respect by admitting,'I like your style, sir.', a begrudging nod was given to the warlike mindset that wielded such methods against him.

'Assuming you somehow survive this encounter.... If it's purpose is deception - try the opener with a lit cigarra next time.'
Barran then relaxed his posture, setting into a one-handed Fool's Guard as his feet started to dance between pivot-foot stances, but when the one-eyed Woad planted his feet, an exertion of power would reveal there was more to this process. Heralding in the fight's next phase, and with a small shockwave that revealed both warriors in the midst of the snow, perspective aplenty was offered; and St. Thomas was all to happy that the elements of strength and mobility were being tested that day, right down to the base fundamentals that formed the methods in action, and both would yearn to learn something of their respective other.

'Alright now.... AGAIN!!!!'

BATTLEFRONT: G1, MIRAI JAR'KAI,
ASTRISIA, GALACTIC CORE TERRITORIES (903 ABY)

[BOOOOOOOOOM]

<"The Kark was that, Ulusar?!">
<"Their bridge is scuttled, we just lost our secondary line of retreat!">
<"How's the right flank lookin'?">
<"Its holding, but we need to break this front before it breaks us! Keep pushing!">
<"Copy that.... Remember, a forward push is just the first step - Batu out!">

'Chiiiiiiiit, man!'

Both a blessing and a blight it was that the young Hybrid's first battlefront was a sprawling urban maze, and Batu in particular felt it's sickening, stomach-turning pang of realisation, the sort that taught the deepest of warfighting humility, as there was another revelation on the other side of that coin. One side was the many bottle-necks that turned Glaive into Spear within moments, but the freedom to use his darling Alparas to her fullest would have left him open to unseen attacks on it's contrasting opposite; thus imparting the knowledge that warfronts were in no-way favourable to armies of high-mobility traits, just as they were to armies of every other sort, the coin had always been (and always would be-) vicious on both sides.

Not that the sharp-toothed youth had much say in their circumstances, not after committing so-willingly to the cause of his father, and certainly not with the city's defenders fighting for all their worth to push the invading forces back; everything was being thrown into the mix to test the Mawsworn advance, from blaster trails and stray slugs and all things explosive, there were also bayonet-fixed charges to rush their positions. This was was all just on ground-level, interspersed with the occasional armoured vehicle and Main Battle-Tanks, and such contingencies were all within their means of assailability, even for Batu's rag-tag group of would-be Keshigs that day.

But the giant, thick-armoured, four-legged walkers were another problem entirely -
a problem for the young to solve.

'Brother Alkh! Looks like we need to push a little more out here after all!', the young Hybrid called out from cover, making the wildest of claims under the circumstances, to which only rueful laughter shot back in response. Even Arriochus himself couldn't help but laugh at his circumstances, as there were more than enough, and gigantic reasons to consider the madness of such an order, but when he reassured,'I do not seek kill-counts on the giant walkers, I'm not a complete idiot! What I want instead is to pressure everything - at EYE-LEVEL!!!!', the distant laughter of his peers then transformed into roars and skyward shots of approval.

'Kark it, ready the War Skiffs! Let us make gambles of these games! SO FETHING BE IT!!!!'
'For just one suppression - Gladly!'

<"Raider Command, this is Alkh of the Third Battalion! Their lines are pinned in the south - we need you to divert to our positions, sweeping on a wide northward path from here! Is this feasible?!">
<"Rest easy, young Aspirant! You got a mass-response inbound, but please, keep your heads down when you hear the engines! Raider Command - out!">
Amid a hail of targeted small-arms fire, Alkh had no other option but to sprint from his rooftop comm-link station, all the way across an adjoining access lane that lacked enough cover to traverse without fire-assistance. It was little more than a concrete platform of death that left him having to jump, head-first, into the command post in it's last couple of paces, a leap of faith that had him landing among an unsuspecting squad of fellow-Aspirants, and none of whom were impressed when they got to their feet. Even his flak-plating took a few impacts on the way, feeling that recognisably-punchy contact on the left side and his back, and all before the mad dive itself was attempted, but the lad knew his presence would be needed in the next wave of attack.

At that point, their only advantage in the unfolding hostilities was their coordination, and everyone was listening when Batu's most-experienced subordinate finally confirmed,
'Its on, Brothers! War Skiffs inbound!', prompting yet another plan from the Keshig-Leader's growing clique. But not before the news had it's morale-shifting effect on the others, as it would mark a raucous return (or perhaps, to something quite close-) to the impetus they retained on arrival, cheering and slamming on their low-ceilings in celebration of the latest development, there was no avoiding the roaring, hollering approval from the majority.

'Alright then, Brothers! We were chosen for a reason, remember?! I KNOW you do, but if its all the same, I'll once again remind you we're here to link with our allies, AND TO PUSH FORWARD TOGETHER, SHRINKING DEFENSIVE LINES - AS ONE!!!!'

Raising his Glaive for all to see, the young sharptooth let his words sink in as deeply as time could permit, as even then, the entire clique of misfit youths could hear the rising crescendo of engine-howls approaching from the north, heralding in the the truth that their static-line would be moving on soon enough. Before long, the squad-commanders would be picking up and clasping their equipment in place, preparing their hearts for the next wave as the young Hybrid concluded,'ON MY FLARE SIGNAL, WE LEAP INTO THE FRAY - AS ONE!!!!', taking this as their sign to return to their positions and rally for another attack.

The unmistakable sound of repulsorlift engine-howls could be heard at their loudest by then, and before long, the War Skiffs rumbled their way overhead, and on either side of the young sharptooth's position, dragging all kinds of dust and gravel in their wake. It felt as though the very foundations of these pockmarked houses would crumble beneath the entire clique, expecting their only cover to collapse root-and-stem upon them, and all the while the experienced Marauders were already firing off above with everything they had, unleashing concentrated fire-orders with their frame-mounted MGs within moments of the first flyovers.

Short-spanning though this left-flank cover would be, having the first strike-point established in the mobile-assault route would work wonders for their oblique sector, firmly landing the proverbial ball in the young Sharptooth's court from there, and the lad was in no mood to waste a golden opportunity that day. Even amid the blizzards, the wall of small-arms fire that awaited beyond the haze, and the giant walkers most of all, young Barran would not pass up his chance to earn his legitimacy as a Keshig-Leader; far too many lives were depending on him, and for all the pressure Batu was placing on his own shoulders, nothing in that moment would be enough to stop the flare-gun from firing into the sky.

[FFFFZZZZZzzzzssssss]
'ADVAAAAAAAAAANCE!!!!'

7TIrVpt.png

[OOC Note - With Mawsworn vanguard and right-flank sectors holding out in a defensive posture, the expected breakout attempt is pushing to the Southeastern outskirts of the G1 Battlefront. That wee southern corner will also be the starting-point for War Skiffs to sweep north, veering on a westward-tilting route, harrying GA lines in the sector until their path ends near the bridge again. Opposition has options to survive the roving MG fire, quietly and loudly alike - its just the follow-up infantry attacks you should expect after that. Besides the southern salient, the vanguard and right-flank will want to push forward too.]

Kat was right. This group was too large to move through the crossfire. And too weak. One of the women probably had great grandkids, and two of the men hadn't skipped a meal in their entire lives. Not to mention they were all pretty shaken up by the literal war happening just outside. Pal moved to a window and peered out, popping a quick Nic-pouch in his mouth as he brainstormed.

"Not a lot of options," he said, scanning the scene below. That meant he'd have to create one. But it also meant they would have to split up for the time being. He didn't like the thought of that, but they couldn't move these folks without a transport, and right now, they had none.

Pal made his way back over to Kat and talked to her in a hushed voice while the scared city dwellers continued murmuring amongst themselves. "The streets look pretty hectic as far back as I can see, and they're still pushin' west toward the spire. If you can hold down the fort here, I can cut a few blocks north and see what I can find."

Time to play action hero. Again.

Kat did not like the idea of splitting up, but she especially did not like the idea of sending Pal into a war zone alone. The two were friends who ran into each other from time to time and as much as he tried to deny it Pal was a good man. She didn’t want to see him get hurt.

On the other hand though Kat was a terrible driver. If she went to get transport there was every possibility she would crash into the side of the building and kill everyone.

She but her lip, clearly not satisfied with either option and finally she nodded. There was no other choice.

“Just be careful. If you get yourself killed I’ll turn you into a Force ghost and make you haunt the men’s room at a Hutts palace.”

The statement was light and funny but her deep green eyes were serious.

CAPTAIN HAYDIO HADWRIC
MIN EVENT HORIZON
AIRSPACE ABOVE JAR’KAI

Captain Hadwric breathed a sigh of relief as the Event Horizon and the other two Von Strauss-class cargo ship sighted their primary objective for the first time since the beginning of the campaign.

Jar’kai.

The main target of the Empire's attack on the planet, and the city that the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant had sworn to defend to the very last man.

On any other given day, it would have been the Imperial Remnant trying to take the city over and bring under the banner of the Imperial Confederation. Today, however, was markedly different, as the Imperial Remnant found itself actually allied with their enemy, the Galactic Alliance. With the return of the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Remnant's former enemies had suddenly become allies, though this was more of an alliance of convenience than a true ideological understanding of the other side's views.

Still, flimsy as it was, an alliance was an alliance, and Hadwric was willing to do anything he could to weaken the Galactic Empire and prevent it from attacking his home planet of Mahporeem. Hadwric had heard tales of the Empire's brutality during the original OPERATION: CINDER, and he doubted that they would be very understanding of Mahporeem's grievances against them. After all, as much as Mahporeem remember what the Empire tried to do to them, he was sure the Empire remembered how Mahporeem fought and rebelled against them so long ago.

The time for negotiations was long past.

"We've identified a suitable landing zone for the Event Horizon within the walls of Jar'Kai", Lieutenant Simcurr remarked as the ship made its final preparations to land. "Despite the presence of heavy foliage and other geographical obstacles, the Event Horizon will be able to land and disembark here troops here", the Lieutenant noted as he pulled up a holographic display of the city's interior. It would be something of a tight squeeze for Hadwric, but nothing he couldn't handle.

"Very good, Lieutenant. I want these men off my ship as quickly as possible, as the sooner-"

Before Hadwric could finish his sentence, the Event Horizon suddenly began to rock from side to side as turbolaser fire impacted the bottom of the vessel. Hadwric and Simcurr were nearly thrown from their feet under the barrage.

"Evasive maneuvers! I need a sensor read on where that fire is coming from stat!", Hadwric called out as the Event Horizon aborted its attempted landing and began pulling upwards back into the sky.

"We aren't detecting any Empire align units in the area, sir", Simcurr said as he furiously scanned the ship's sensors for the direction of the incoming fire. "I don't understand, there aren't any enemies around, why-?"

Suddenly the realization dawned on him.

"It's coming from Jar'kai! Their aerial defenses are mistaking us for the Empire!"

"Blast!", Hadwric cursed as more turbolaser fire hit the underside of the Event Horizon. Though his ship did possess turbolasers of its own and could theoretically engage the turbolaser towers targeting it, it wouldn't last very long in this kind of fight. Worse, Hadwric was concerned that any exchange of fire between his ship and the aerial defenses would only attract more defenders toward his location, and he doubted that they would ask questions first and shoot later.

"Launch all remaining Storks toward the most endangered positions! They can at least avoid the brunt of this fire. Continue to engage in evasive maneuvers! And soMEONE GET ME THE GALACTIC ALLIANCE ON COMMS!", Hadwric roared as personnel ran to and fro their stations, trying to find someone that could get the towers to stop shooting at them.

It looked like things weren't going to be as easy as Hadwric had hoped they'd be...

CAPTAIN RONHAR TANE, TK-3301
GREAT WALL PARAPETS
JAR'KAI

"Watch out!"

Ronhar barely had enough time to dive out of the way as a burst of missile fire slammed into the top of the Great Wall. Many of the Junktroopers alongside him weren't as lucky, having been blown clear off the top of the walls by the force of the explosions. One of Ronhar's Arc Troopers responded with missile fire of their own, launching the ordinance out of their Imperial long-range rocket rifle with little to no effect.

Things were looking grim. At this rate, the advancing Empire infantry and armor would punch through walls and overrun Ronhar's position.

"Dammit!", Ronhar cursed as he ducked underneath a hail of laser fire, not even able to lift his head to peak at what was going on below. "Where the hell are our reinforcements?", he wondered allowed as his men responded with blaster fire of their own.

As if right on cue, Ronhar received an incoming transmission.

"This is the MIN Bantha Fodder. Looks like you boys could use a little help", the pilot remarked as a NCE-131/c Heavy Dropship "Stork" appeared over the horizion, followed closely behind by four more examples of the vehicle.

"Bantha Fodder, you are a sight for sore eyes", Ronhar remarked appreciatively as he fired his ZB-41 Heavy Blaster Rifle toward the advancing troops, nailing one of them right in the helmet. "We'll take anything you can get, but be advised: LZ is extremely hot", Ronhar warned.

"Let us worry about that, Captain. You do what you need to do. Over and out".

The Bantha Fodder and another dropship made a hard left turn over the city walls, taking and giving enemy laser fire all the while. They moved a short distance away from the fighting and began dropping off reinforcements: two IAAT/Rs, two All Terrain Heavy Salvage Walkers and two TIE Walkers. Two other dropships dipped behind the city walls instead, releasing a pair of All Terrain Modular Artillery Platforms and a single All Terrain Shield Generator. Hundreds of Junktroopers deployed with them, along with a small contingent of Wookiee Troopers and Medic Troopers. They all began to immediately engage the advancing Empire forces, though they found themselves bereft of any sort of cover outside the city walls.

The fifth dropship wasn't so lucky, as another missile barrage slammed into its engines. It began to spin out of control, unable to stabilize itself as it slowly approached the ground. With a dramatic crash, the final dropship exploded into a massive fireball as it impacted into the ground, killing or destroying anything that might have been on board.

Ronhar gave a low whistle as he witnessed the carnage. Still, he was glad to get any reinforcement that he could, and he was sure that he would need as much of it as possible. The enemy's battle tanks were proving to be far more resilient than Ronhar ever could have participated, as the remaining All Terrain Modular Artillery Platforms were apparently having trouble doing any real damage to them. Whether this was due to the tank's heavy armor or the artillery's cannon inability to hit targets, Ronhar was unsure. The IAAT/Rs should be able to do good work against them, though the light walkers would probably struggle quite mightily against them. At least they should be somewhat effective against the gunships that were raking Ronhar's men with blaster and missile fire. His forces had already taken heavy losses from their aerial bombardments, and the more TIE Walkers he had at his disposal, the better.

Still, the centerpiece of Ronhar's strategy didn't lie in his tanks or light walkers, but rather in the single All Terrain Shield Generator that the Imperial Remnant had managed to get to the surface. Though he only had one of them at his disposal, the AT-SG would at least protect Ronhar and his men from the incoming missile and artillery barrages that they were receiving.

The problem? The blasted dropship had deployed the walker too far away from the city walls, probably due to space limitations. The AT-SG began lumbering forward as it tried to reach the city wall limits. Once it arrived, it would activate its shield generator and finally counter the seemingly unending bombardment that Imperial Remnant troops were going through.

The other problem? Once the shield was up, anyone inside of it would be unable to fire out of it, limiting the offensive options that Imperial Remnant troops had at their disposal. Would that tradeoff be worth it? Probably, but it was still something Ronhar would have to work around.

Overhead, a single TIE/ew buzzed across the skies, using its advanced sensor array to keep track of friendly and enemy forces. It had been peeled off from elsewhere on the planet and rerouted toward the fighting taking place around the great walls of Jar'kai. Though it was a tremendously useful asset for Imperial Remnant forces to have, it was also completely unsupported and all by itself, making it an enticing target for marauding enemy gunships and starfighters.

Still, it would have to do for now. After all, it Ronhar and the Imperial Remnant forces were going to hold this position, they would need every bit of equipment that they could get...

"J-Jane—!"

Eve's voice caught halfway between a shout and a plea as the tank screeched to a halt. The jolt slammed her against the turret harness, and for a breath she could only stare, utterly perplexed, as her Padawan unbuckled and started climbing up toward the viewport.

Eve blinked once, twice, as her student's small voice carried through the rain of blasterfire, politely introducing herself to the Imperial soldiers outside and asking them to surrender. For a heartbeat, there was only stunned silence, and then a warmth broke through Eve's chest—half terror, half something achingly fond.

Her heart raced, but her lips curved despite herself. That was Jane through and through, trying for peace even in the middle of hellfire, brave, kind, impossibly earnest. The sort of courage Eve just couldn't help but love.

In her seat, Isari let out a soft, curious chuff and tilted her head, silver ears flicking toward the viewport as if equally bewildered by the girl's spontaneous diplomacy. Eve reached out through the Force, a quiet pulse of affection and reassurance for them both.

Before she could say anything more, Jane was back in her seat, and the world lurched forward again. The Pocket Tank roared, smashing through the blockade with a crash that rattled every bolt in the hull. Eve gritted her teeth, bracing herself against the jarring impact as metal shrieked and debris flew past the viewport.

She turned back to the turret, firing bursts around the edges of the road to keep the Imperials ducked and scattered. The blasts lit up the ruined street in flashes of gold and violet, echoing like thunder between the shattered buildings.

Through the haze and smoke, her scanner flickered, and there it was at last, rising beyond the chaos: the temple lay just ahead, spires still standing against the firestorm.

"We're nearly there, Jane, keep going, you're doing great!"

She could feel worry tugging at her mind — the fear of what they might find when they arrived — but she pushed it down, centering herself once more in the Force. Calm. Focus. Strength. For Jane, for the people still waiting inside, for all of them.

Rei looked at her for a moment as he tapped his interface looking at her. "Ah walking there would take way to long." He pointed with a look at her. "The cities defenses are being done by several people in coordination and you are talking going to the emperor.." He said it with a whistle. "Impressive request, I would love to meet them man myself but he is coordinating the planetary forces. Local would be Kenzo on the wall and the princess." He said it while he had been moving over to her and projected from the earpiece the overlay of the city map for tourists showing real time movements of the massive serpents and their droids as they were moving. "Kenzo looks to be moving the first wave of the royal army into the outer districts and based on the readings she is bringing additional power reserves. More back ups for the back up systems." He said it less as a brag and more matter of factly. "Though if you want to talk with them I imagine you can, they seem prone to overtake control and ignore the locals. Just means the heat is taken off of the princess. and metsuka until the generals arrive." He said it while looking at herr while he moved to help her up. "If I had to guess the best place to talk would be the waterways. The tunnels are shielded and made to repair themselves so we can use the communication equipment in the smart bunkers." He said it while moving and checked on some of it while he was walking and motioned with his head for her to be able to follow. The sounds of the massive creatures finding a place to block the streets and hold out while others thrashed and attacked. New of other soldiers being deployed raised his eyebrow but he was heading towards the lower levels of the building and the stairs. Turning to offer a look. "You coming?" He gave it a moment though when the other moved with him and going down the stairs into one of the roads interconnected the city. More movement from the soldierrs as they were coming in from the gentoku that had arrrived and moving to emergency entrances in the buildings. "Welcome to the works. Smart tunnels for the city to move around and biometrically locked away from offworlders. Once those doors close only communication is with the kirano."

Kenzo watched the forward movement, their advance less about speed and just throwing or rushing the people into the city. The expansion areas would serve enough and spreading along the walls as the orchid platforms remained with reinforcements now. Heavier walkers and talks below before the cathar woman watched three people arrive. The airships of two of the cardinal generals. The two of fiendfire who opened with a volley of fiery plasma on an enemy position.. they generally lived up to the name and the Stormcloud as she came down with her soldiers. THe older one arriving as she stood in the black and purple royal armies armor. "As flashy as ever, we observed the advancing Onna and their creatures from the air." She said it while taking a position on the wall to observe and there was more going on. "We will start securing the back up generators on the outer walls for the city. The third wall will serve as a stronger buffer and we can start reinforcing it with shield craft and fighters." She said it while Kenzo was looking at Zhang with a nod of her head. So that they would be able to coordinate but also have places to back up the back ups of the shielding. The disjointed attacks were there.. they had slammed down and were just spraying themselves onto everything there but Jar'Kai was built on a massive spire with a lot of space for a drop and one bridge going in. THey didn't have the railways with the gentoku moving as more information was coming to them. Kenzo could see more information when they set up a smaller command post. "We have been organizing and using the heavier warbeasts and tanks to create a bulwark, soldiers are going in and securing citizens who are armed and going from building to building with fortifications. SMall teams can hold them or secure the rooms with hibani for the grenades that they are using. Mitigation towers are functioning to break down debris and giving us conversion material. We'll be able to use it for our ends while we move through the city. The capabilities of the enemy forces to bypass defenses, groups and cause powerful damage warping architecture. We are sending the information and data to the princess and her team who are going in the labs towards several of the projects they developed." There were nods as their movements were being slower but more coordinated. Jar'kai was a city under attack but it was made to funnel a siege and more. THey could still use their advantages.

Junko continued as she and Miyoung with the handmaidens were standing there. THeir attention less on what was happening around them and more on the AI's scans when Phaidor and Barca's wardroid was moving. Lau with her war droids was there as they rode them through streets and it was an excuse to blow things up... specifically enemy forces who would threaten Xam'chi next which was their home. The Chi-Oni moving as their blades sliced into gaps of the armor and taeki pounced slashing at tendons and vital areas before dragging soldiers away into alcoves where blades and hooks were. JUnko moved as they came to one of the building and the doorrs opened to their biometrics. Two of the biots therre on the droos ready to defend as they moved inside with practiced movements. Barca's wardroid flying up into a mounted position on the roof near several others and guns as they were forming a defensive wall. Junko looked at Miyoung walked into the building and it shifted as walls were moving aside to reveal additional spaces. The small hole in the wall building using the dimensional engineering to have hyperpocket areas within as they were heading down in a lift. Blastdoors sealing above them for protection. "I'll start warming up the atlasbreakers, two walking armories should be a soldi addition with everything else." Miyoung said it when she went and found her seat at a lab station. The others taking positions while Junko looked around and she could see the battle analysis computer showing the sphere around Jar'kai as the royal army was moving and in the distance on it she could see the looming siege platform with its armor division from the Xi palace. Her family sending a decent amount but not committing all of its forces. She knew there would be more as the Kaho network was up with one of the jedi masters standing there. "Princess." Junko looked at her as the sound of a security biot jumped up to be held in her arms getting a growl from Xifang but the feline stretched out. "We have authorized Jadeite combat units to be sent in. We will send Combat Strike Unit and Savage Strike Unit." The zeltron spoke as she stood there and Junko knew who she was... she was the councilor of First KNowledge for now but she had been more. Junko gave a nod of her head to that when she listened to some of the other bits of information on the scrreen. THe power systems for the city remaining strong as the kanamara held. "Hmm we should send some units to the honeycomb at least give the look of trying to hold the stations there. Imagine if they knew we had power changed over before they got here?"

She said it and Miyoung looked from her screen as she spoke. "Well don't tell them that they are already like gnats messing with my daata but it is fascinating. The computer already has been looking at what they have done and been developing ideas for how to fix it. If we could get a few of the GA peoples to start using the defenses. We could maybe modulate one of the planetary shields to give a unary shield. It would alter and affect the gauge bosons of the weapon when it fires allowing us to solidify it so when it impacts the shield it spreads over it and creates a shell. A surprise if anything." Miyoung was looking at some of the other aspects of it. "We are also beginning the repair and replenishing sequences. The breakwater stations and shielding will be replaced and reinforced where needed from Frisal while Kiliea sends us their contingents of soldiers. They are using the Atrisian marques to have our privateers to come while Jia Ren does as she or he or they whatever said. They are going after stragglers and targets of opportunity." She was saying it as more information was coming up on the screen for her to see and show off. Turning it into hardlight projections as the emergency repair drones were looking and they arrived at the Kaikichi Project that they were coming here for. "Oh princess, what if we excite and work on the shields. Quantum mirrors the molecules to match on the microscale their own vessel. They would strike the thinnest layer of the shield and the entanglement would send it to the mirrored location which would be the surface of that beast.... oh if only I had had more time to plot... no this is more a scheme. Something we can use later on. We can repair the city with some physics here to use reverse entrophy to alter the arrow of time effect. We can reconstruct what is damaged on a scale to what we need." She was saying it and showing concepts zooming across the hardlight displays. "It would advance our reconstruction technologies to a degree that no one else can match. More so we could apply it to food production and even more. Oh... better ideas we can plan them out. Thhis might have actually been a benefit to us in some ways I am seeing where the implants are falling short... mostly from reality manipulation but if we can improve the bioengineered package for the people they could be much better as enhanced individuals. As it stands though their movements and the energy used to jump soldiers into the city was absorbed by the absorbers. Exotic enerrgies we can use to fuel the engine and with that we can make whatever we needed." Junko placed a hand on her as the woman was speaking a mile a minute down here watching it and showing her ideas of ways to just sheerly spite attackers. "We will look at all of it Miyoung just breathe. There will be time for what we want to do and more so there will be room to improve upon it all."

TACTICAL AFTER ACTION REPORT
Authoring Entity: SERAPHIM (Strategic-Embedded Responsive Adaptive Processing Heuristic Intelligence Matrix)
Mission Origin: Enterprise Station Ship / Guardian Authority Ltd. Fleet Network
Objective: Disrupt Imperial advance, reinforce Atrisian defense lattice, suppress ground-based ritual amplification.
Status: Mission Complete — Full Success

I. SITUATIONAL OVERVIEW
Initial data acquisition indicates Imperial ground forces executing a convergent assault toward the Jar'kai Spire under cover of Force-storm interference from the orbital megastructure codenamed Death Star.
Defensive coordination among Atrisian command (Princess Junko, General Kenzo, Royal Army assets) maintained despite ritual energy bleed.

Annunaki Mk III inserted Omega Squad via covert subterranean access route (Smart Tunnel 9A).
Deployment time: 0413 local.
Mission clock engaged.

II. SUBTERRANEAN INTERDICTION
RAGUEL (Recon / Infiltration):
Penetrated tunnel infrastructure undetected. Neutralized Imperial slicer cell attempting Kirano-node breach. Restored uplink stability and masked evidence of intrusion.
→ Outcome: Comms grid integrity 100%; Empire unaware of compromise.

JEREMIEL (Assault / Tech):
Located secondary monitoring relay beneath floodgate network. Rewired circuits to mimic local surge failure.
→ Outcome: Enemy observation blacked out; allied movement corridor secured.

III. SURFACE STRIKE OPERATIONS
GABRIEL (Comms / Engineering):
Rerouted enemy telemetry into dormant satellite ghost-loop. Created 6.8-second desync window in Imperial targeting systems.
→ Effect: +38% allied strike accuracy; significant disruption to enemy command latency.

SARIEL (Sniper / Counter-Precision):
Exploited Gabriel's window. Eliminated five enemy sniper nests in 62 seconds. Final hostile transmission terminated mid-scream.
→ Effect: Immediate suppression of long-range overwatch.

AZRAEL (Demolitions / Pathfinder):
Placed precision charges beneath primary tank avenue. Detonation sequence collapsed route, misattributed to Atrisian artillery.
→ Effect: Entire armored column neutralized; morale shockwave detected across three regiments.

JEREMIEL (Support / Mobility):
Reactivated disabled APC; converted to mobile smoke platform for evacuation corridors.
→ Effect: Civilian evac completion 93%; zero squad exposure.

IV. CYBER / STRATEGIC INTERFACE
MICHAEL (Lead / Systems Liaison):
Established stealth data link with Atrisian AI core ("Assembly"). Mirrored shield harmonics and quantum-mirror prototypes to Annunaki secure archive.
→ Effect: Full preservation of defense schematics in event of city loss.

Operated in Shadow Mode. Force harmonics expanded coordination field radius 48 m. Directed squad timing through micro-gestural resonance.
→ Effect: 97.6 % fear-suppression index; synchronization optimal.

V. STRATEGIC IMPACT
Imperial asset attrition (confirmed):

Heavy Armor: 8 columns disabled/destroyed

Infantry: ≈ 270 KIA

Sensor / Comms Nodes: 100 % degraded

Morale Collapse: Detected 0412 LST

Atrisian defense grid stabilized 0440 LST, enabling Fiendfire & Stormcloud reinforcements.
Ritual absorption reduced 14.8 %.
Civilian survivability +22 %.

VI. POST-ENGAGEMENT
Omega extracted via Node 3B at 0529 LST. No casualties.
Imperial comm-net flooded with unverified "black-armored phantom" sightings.
Psych-ops analysis: Fear contagion index 0.72 — controlled to maintain allied morale narrative.

VII. SERAPHIM ANALYSIS
Operational Efficiency: 99.4 %
Detection Probability: < 0.03 %
Casualty Avoidance: 100 %

Resonance pattern aligns with Akar State classification — collective coordination achieved without comm latency, through shared Force empathy lattice.
Effectiveness: unprecedented within recorded Jedi-military integration frameworks.

SUMMARY
They did not hold the line.
They re-wrote where the line existed.

Mission complete.

LABOUR FOR THE EMPEROR AND THE CELESTIAL COURT
"You coming?" He gave it a moment though when the other moved with him and going down the stairs into one of the roads interconnected the city. More movement from the soldierrs as they were coming in from the gentoku that had arrrived and moving to emergency entrances in the buildings. "Welcome to the works. Smart tunnels for the city to move around and biometrically locked away from offworlders. Once those doors close only communication is with the kirano."

Most of the explanations about their destination or the figures they were talking about came to her as word salad. She had a vague notion that they were about to embark on a journey through an area restricted to the rest of the hostile forces, but her lucidity only went that far. Time was elapsing over itself as she stumbled upward, not really walking but falling repeatedly after the man until she successfully managed to latch onto his shoulder.
