A young man, enlisted out of the streets of Bastion from a hard-working industrial family, Sid is happy to serve and welcomes the chance to pay back the Empire, who transformed his home from a series of slums into a bustling trade center, and the pride and heart of the newly formed Empire. With lawlessness and crime reduced to a mere afterthought, Sid feels it appropriate that he should do his duty to the Empire.
