Southern Systems Business Bazaar Expo [ open to all ]

Grabbing the Bracers from the table, I put them on my arms. Covering the slightly pink skin of my hands and arms. I nodded my head to the man. I wore the bracers not because of a instant want to wear them, but more so I had no bag to put them in, or carry. And since I would be using these more often than not, I decided that by wearing them it would get me accustomed to the weight "Thank you and may you sell a plenty." I spoke before walking away.

As he was formulating an answer to the girl who wished to buy a Gorgon, his tablet went off. Irritated he took hold of it, and excused himself for a second. When the screen opened, and showed him the big-ass order Arceneau had just placed.. well Jared first blinked twice, then nearly choked himself to death in the gulp of wodka he was trying to stuff.

He handwaved a rough estimate on the Dominus-class starfighters and then pushed the accept button. If someone had the credit to buy all that.. shi-- all those items.. it would be Dangerouse Rose. That was for sure.

Her credit checked out aaaaaand sold to the beautiful redhead in the back.

Then he went back to the blond girl, and again gave her one of his smiles as he apologized.

“Beg your pardon, it's a madhouse over here. Let's see.. I reckon we can find another Gorgon for a pretty lass like you...” he scratched his head, as he considered their inventory. “Our usual customers ain't really in the market for stun-weapons, if you catch my drift. Keep an eye out though, I am currently designing.. well let's just say it is gonna be a doozy. Anything else that might interest ya?”

Ayden nodded and simply handed the Twi'lek a pad. "Put in the order, we'll process it and notify you of the charges. If you accept, the requested items will go into production. If not, then we'll hold on to the order for ninety-six galactic standard hours, after which it will be deleted."

Galaar Tal'Verda

Just one more butchered soul.
A clone with shopping to do. He had arrived late to the Expo and of course, paid his ten credit entry fee. He strode into the building unarmed in a mechanic jumpsuit and with his strill looking from booth to booth. He had what he wanted in mind and knew the place he wanted to go as soon as he saw a holo-add for it.

Galaar approached the Mandal Hypernautics booth and browsed over the inventory. He had worked with Larraq once before but was here to but instead of making credits. "Su cuy'gar, I'm here to buy." He announced in front of the booth with a wide grin that was seemingly plastered to his face.

No problem, "Sounds fairly standard." Taking the pad, Domino input the request, one blockade runner in black with gold trim and two each of the recon walker A and B models. "Thanks, accounting will cut a check for yall once they get the invoice." She told Ayden as she handed him the pad back. Never pay until you had it in writing, even with a company like CEC. There was always room for legitimate mistakes. "Thanks again for the leather." Turning she waved back at him as she headed back into the crowd.

Later, she found herself near the Czerka booth which didn't seem busy at the moment so Domino skipped the non-existent line and went straight to placing her order. Domino had a lot of people to arm up and Czerka had so far proven to be the best around when it came to projectiles. After this all that would remain would be a quality blaster rifle and blaster, diversification was key to flexibility, and Domino already had a rifle in mind.

Ori'Alor Tal'Verda

Leader of the True Mando'Ade
[member="Ayden Cater"]
Ori'Alor waited in line, having paid her entrace fee, and heading to the first stop on her shopping list. Ayden Carter, the guy representing the Corellian Company, a man she had wanted to meet MANY times both when she was Mand'ALor and afterwards. Now though, Ori'Alor was here for business, as she had a rather liengthy order to complete for the Liberty Concord and the Akaan'Ade. "Sir, I would like to order one of your MCR-125s, 2 YT-1300s, and 12 Panther-Class Shuttles." Ori'Alor said, reading off of a Datapad she prepaired before hand.

Saera Willamina Savan

~+--- Skaidra ---+~ Beskarsmith, Alchemist
The young Vinferalathi had recently befallen a large inheritance. She wasn't sure why, but the sole owner of the galactic capital-military manufacturer Ri'ess Regal had entrusted the majority of her complete hold on the company's unsold shares to the young Templar, soon after disappearing without a trace to all but the Monarchy. Seventy percent of those shares were placed directly under Saera's name, the rest spread across the galactic market and subsequently picked up by the Techno Union. As the defaulting Chairwoman of RRDI, the girl had quite the lot of credits in her name thanks to the utopian ways of the Mnenchei and the billion-credit war machine that was a galaxy-wide starship manufacturer.
Saera wandered off into the expo, booth to booth, Crystal Heart's insfrastructure droid Taskmaster following close behind via internal repulsorlifts as a bodyguard. Finally, she saw a large board full of things she seemed to find useful.
"U-uhh... um... excuse me...." the cute little thing motioned at [member="Captain Larraq"] in her usual shy way. "I-I need some things, mister...."
Saera held out a nicely decorated, crystalline datapad which had a list as well as the public data on several Mandal products and links to large corporate accounts. She had hoped the man there would bring more clarity - or confirmation - to her needs. Between her inheritance and her other mother's corporation, she was certainly good for it. It wasn't for her personal pleasure, after all.

Rygel Larraq smiled at the small, green girl and accepted the unusual datapad from her. Glancing over the list, Larraq arced an eyebrow and questioned the girl. "That's a some major hardware you're investing in. The shield system and the weapon platforms are pretty strait forward, but Are you sure you can handle the staffing and logistics of such a large ship?"

(OOC: you sure you want the Skira, Saera? It'd belong to your faction, not you. I'm pretty sure IC/OOC, one of your faction reps would need to do a contract for it. Also, FYI, I've only made 3 Skira's so far IC.)

Saera looked up as [member="Captain Larraq"] cocked a brow at the rather substantial request.
"Mhmm...!" the girl happily hummed back.
She then handed the man her CIS credentials, which held in them the approval for the ship requisition - especially since it was coming out of RRDI's corporate pocket, so to speak, a CIS contractor and valuable member of the Techno Union. The other equipment was for Crystalsong.

Glancing over the credentials and the information on the young woman's bank account, Laraq shrugged. "Shouldn't be a problem then. I can get the shield and droids shipped and installed within 12 standard business days. The only Skira currently available is in active service with Hyperion Security. It'd take two months to recall the ship and get it stripped and cleaned for sale. Or we can commission a new unit be constructed, but you'd have to wait seven months before you'd have her."

Saera was very innocent-natures and didn't want to step on any proverbial toes. She thought about it for a moment, putting a finger to her lips, but dragged it down once she was finally decided.
"Uhh.... Sure, I can wait that long. Just deliver the other things to Crystalsong. The location coordinate data is already on my pad...."
The IBIS droid guarding the young girl patched through a line to the datapad system, connecting her mother to it who signed off on the requisition as she was still a minor and unable to sign in her own name despite her position. Once Ashe had done that via holonet, the transaction was complete and the company could draw the appropriate credits.
"Thank you...!" [member="Captain Larraq"]

Popo said:
Popo graciously inclined his head to Danger.

"The pleasure is mine, Miss Arceneau," he said politely, his deep voice vibrating the air. "Stories of your beauty don't do you justice, if I may speak plainly. Perhaps we might share a drink somewhere quiet? I had hoped to discuss a bit of... discreet business with you, if possible."

He was nervous as all get out, but he seemed to get the words right so far. Thankfully, so few people knew how to read Hutts. Otherwise, she'd spot the massive Hutt-blush he was giving off. Strange how that worked.

@[member="Danger Arceneau"]
Danger took notice of the slight rush of nervousness upon the Hutt; well that was a key note to slide in her favor. A little token of information. Nonetheless, she held that winning smile shining at his direction.

"Well great and honorable [member="Popo"], you'll make me blush with such compliments," she said with coquettish charm. "Hmm... I reckon we can go somewhere a bit more intimate." she said drawling out, musing internally at just what the Hutt would be so keen on talking about. Her past with the Hutts was a interesting rollarcoaster ride, and if rumors be true, Popo was one slug awanting to stir the clans together again.
A coy beckoning of her finger and a "Come on over," led the Hutt towards the far end of the Expo, where two large double sided doors guarded by Arceneau security opened up to let them in. From here they would go to a far more intimate area of a bar scene, with intimate alcoves for any kind of business dealin one was want to desire.

She led the Hutt to a large lounge fit for a slug of his proportions and luxurious tastes, "Make yourself at home," she coo'd, while following up with, "Care for a drink?"

Popo

I'm Sexy and I Know It
Popo quelled the usual internal upheaval at the tone of her voice and choice of words and followed her to the back. Once settled he heard her question and nodded.

"Yes, please," he answered politely. "And thank you. I was hoping to speak with you about expanding business to Tatooine if at all possible. I hear you have a great amount of pull there and would be the best person to talk to."

Honestly, he knew she had a lot of pull htere and that she was the only person worth talking to about expansion. Tatooine was a dustball and a cess pit, but it was still profitable and would bring a generous revenue to his ventures as well as giving him and the Cartel a safe port of call, so to speak. That and, if Popo was honest, he was head over heels for [member="Danger Arceneau"], though he kept telling himself that wasn't the only reason. Not at all. Probably.

"Pick your poison," she coo'd out with a winning smile in regards to his drink, those full hips of hers swaying to and fro as she went towards the private bar. It was a good thing her back was towards him, because her expression lightly flashed with curiosity and wariness at his commentary about Tatooine and wanting to start up a business.

"You honor me with such praise, honorable [member="Popo"]," she said in turn, taking an empty glass as she awaited his reply on what type of drink. "Are you referring to Tenloss?" she said in query.

Saera finally made her way to mommy [member="Enigma"]'s booth, who had actually remained largely foreshadowed in recent events. The surveillance droids and combat mechs she ordered from Mommy Circe were working wonders for her humble little workshop (which wasn't much at all, since no one actually trespassed in the caverns, but one could never be too safe), and it was time to order a couple more things from the slowly-recovering company. Hopefully it would be well received too, in their greatest time of need. It was nice to see her mother's corporation manage to stay afloat no matter how hard the waves grew.
"Hey... excuse me? I would like to order a couple of Mirari bodyguard droids. I already have weapons and armor all sorted out, and I know their specs by heart. The money's ready to be transferred, whatever that means...." she told the receptionist and faintly smiled.
That was all she needed; two Mirari droids, bone-stock. Whoever was working the booth - assuming it wasn't Circe herself - would undoubtedly see the girl's surname was 'Savan' and give her an executive discount. Either way, it was coming out of her mother's pocket, so it was like taking money out to literally put it right back in again.

In Umbris Potestas Est
Nodding, the receptionist smiled, giving Saera the droids she needed at a 25% discount. "Your mother says "Love." She also wants you to meet up with her soon for ice cream.

Popo

"Whiskey will be fine, thank you," Popo said politely to the redheaded bombshell. "As for Tenloss, yes, I'd like to expand my company there as well. Perhaps open a few casinos. Potentially a drydock in orbit. Possibly a waystation for traveling ships. Maybe a space station."

He cleared his throat politely. He knew she knew what his game was. They had similar... acquaintances, after all.

"I'd also like to shift more of my people... not affiliated with Tenloss to Tatooine. We already have a presence there. I simply want to solidify holdings there, is all."

Ayden ran through the purchase order and then checked the buyer's credit. After a few moments, it came back clear and Ayden smiled. "Your order has been placed. It should be delivered in a few weeks."

At the same time, he placed a discrete bid to Sienar Fleet Systems for one hundred Monitor-class corvettes.
