Southern Systems Business Bazaar Expo [ open to all ]

After getting the Correllian part of her order out of the way, Ori'Alor walked over to the Mandal Hypernautics Booth, and got her Datapad ready again. "I would like to make an order for: 1x Keldabe Battleship, 2x Nynir Frigate, 125 Cabur Starfighters, A network of those Vulcan Mass Driver Guns for Point Defence on the Keldabe; I can install them if you can't for some reason, 2 of your Cargo Shuttles, and 3 Oya'karir Vehicles, Military Spec please."

A small electronic order would come in for [member="Zothustro Quill"], an order from Danger Arceneau for Cestus Cybernetics. This was to be an order for ATC as well as the South Systems Business Bazaar.

Meanwhile...

Danger turned to [member="Popo"], one eyebrow arching eye as she graced him with a provocative smile "That so?" she began, pouring him a glass of whiskey. "A space station eh?.... Are you trying to broker into my trading venue?" she asked cautiously, sweetness in her words, but probing none the less.

"Or are you trying to get the Kajidics up and running again..."

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

Zothustro minded his booth, standing there with naught but his cane for support. Cestus Cybernetics' booth was not a lavish thing, but it did contain holodisplays of all of their products, in addition to a large advertisement for the SC1. The advertisement consisted of a battle-worn SC1 standing triumphantly atop a pile of destroyed combat droids by various other companies. This included the battle droid products of Subach-Innes, the Corellian Engineering Corporation, Baktoid, and Czerka.

Beneath the pile stood the bold-faced words: "THE BEST, THE BRIGHTEST. BUY AN SC1 TODAY."

Zothustro was still pondering whether that was legal when his datapad beeped. He withdrew the device from his coat pocket, spying the massive order from Arceneau Trade Company. That was a whole lot of droids. It made Zothustro's heart sing. It also made the X'Ting emit a whistling sound that would be identified as a sound of joy on Ord Cestus. Here it just startled a bunch of people, causing Zothustro a great deal of embarrassment. He approved the order and stowed the datapad away before anyone else looked at him funny.

Popo

"Brokering into trading? Of course not," Popo said politely. "I know better than to try and butt into your trading venues on Tatooine. I simply wish to expand in an area that would be mutually beneficial. Casinos and the like would draw in more tourists. Perhaps even terraforming a small section of the planet into a sort of... fun land or amusement park of sorts. As for the space station, it would quite literally be a simple refueling and repair port, maybe some smaller ship construction, but most refit and repairs."

The Shell Hutt sipped his whiskey with a gracious and polite nod to [member="Danger Arceneau"]. It was a very fine, fine vintage and the smokey flavor was to die for. She knew her whiskey and Popo loved that in a woman. Which didn't help the flying and flip-flopping feeling in his stomach.

"As for the... Kajidic... Yes, I would like to expand them to Tatooine. Mainly loan sharking, spice trade, fencing, the usual things. Potentially a few brothels here and there to help lure in tourists and locals alike. I would do my best to keep clear of your business ventures and keep you abreast of activity, of course."

Larraq smiled at [member="Ori'Alor Tal'Verda"] and let a low whistle escape his lips. He couldn't help but to admire a woman who knew what she wanted. All the more so when what she wanted was expensive, made to order, and deadly.

"That's quite an impressive order, mam. The Vulcan cannons can be equipped to the vessel, but it will require an extensive retrofit. The weapons have quite a recoil and require specialized mountings. Not to mention reinforcing the frame of the ship to withstand the vibrations of multiple Gatling mass-drivers rattling her hull. We can handle the operation, but it will cost you an extra 50 million."

Larraq-

I'm about to come into possession of a derelict. 210 metres by 125 metres, unusual spaceframe, beskar a significant structural element, armed elite transport, 850 years old, probably undamaged. Can I get a quote from you on a full refit?

"Thanks for the compliment, but I'm married." Ori'Alor said, smiling at the good Captain "And I have no problem paying the extra creds, It's all for the LC and My New Company, plus I was planning on doing a refit anyway."

Nothing discreet on an order of a hundred Monitor-class corvettes. If only Jared had Ayden's scruples when it came to selling arms to the enemies. It was an interesting notion, Jared thought as he approved the sale and put in a discreet message with the approval.

Without asking you for a guarantee, think that means you owe me one.

Rygel Larraq pondered the request a moment in his head before tuning to his datapad. Size, material components, and non-standard parts crossed his mind. The width of the ship was a little unusual, which placed the vessel soundly within the frigate size category. "It's really going to depend on the sophistication of the electronics and how difficult it will be to adapt the replacement parts to the existing ones. Not to mention the added cost of finding additional material to repair damaged sections. But on the whole, you're looking at a window of one to two million credits for the job. Again, depending on the parts and electronics mainly." Larraq said to [member="Ember Rekali"] after he had come up with some numbers he felt comfortable with.

"Casinos..." now there was an interesting little venture, as she slowly took a drink from her glass. "Hmm... would be nice to see this old dusthole find a little bit of excitement... a girl can always use a bit of excitement... specially in her homefront." she said in a provocative coo, an eyebrow arching in seeming suggestion.

"Well.... I might have something that might be of use to you," she began, slowly rocking from side to side as she stared up at the Hutt. " However.... can't fault a girl for wanting a measure of security, no?"

"Say you do come down to Tatooine to build what be yours... what's in it for me?"

Popo

I'm Sexy and I Know It
"This depends," Popo said slowly and carefully while doing his best to not focus on the seductive voice and body movements in front of him. Why must human women be so attractive? "What could a woman who seemingly has everything she could ever want or need desire from a simple Hutt?"

He was honestly curious at this point. Everyone had a reason why they were in this business. Most did it for greed. Many did it for prestige or pride. Still others did it because they knew no other life. He himself was in the business because it was a game, of sorts. Everyone played, whether they knew it or not, and the credits were simply... points, in a way. The one who held the most points in the game dictated the rules and Popo had long determined that he had wanted to call the shots. He wanted to make the rules. He wanted to be at the head of the game. Miss [member="Danger Arceneau"], though, intrigued him. He couldn't read her at all. Even if he ignored the fluttering feeling in his stomach and how she could play his feelings and emotions so easily, whether she knew it or not, he still couldn't read her. And, to top it all off, she made him act very strangely for some reason. Popo had found himself recently more concerned with how appealing he was or how to better gain her attention. It both frustrated him and tantalized him and he couldn't figure out why. Right now, though, the only thing he could think of was this:

What did Danger want?

What did Danger want?

Well that was the age old question on just what that bombshell vixen desired. It was complicated as it was simple, as the true testimony of the nature of the female sex is.

There was a hidden smile betwixt those full crimson lips. A distinct predatory pleasure that glistened within the depths of eyes as green as perfectly cut emeralds.

What would she say? What would she demand? Ahh, it was always a game with her, so one could not truly ever know exactly what lay behind that seemingly perfect sugary smile.

What would she want from [member="Popo"] the Hutt?

Now now, Popo… we’ve only just begun our intimate interlude, ” she began sweetly, flashing him a wink and seemingly hiding whatever manner of thoughts lay behind her dazzling smile.

A girl can’t go giving away all her wants and desires on the first night” she slowly went ambling towards him, one hand holding her glass while the other wrapped round the base of the whiskey bottle. One she would use to pour him another drink if he so wished.

She came to a stop beside him, the spicy scent of her perfume close enough to tickle the senses.

Takes a girl awhile ‘fore she starts trading secrets in the middle of the night….” she said while lowering her eyes, her voice a low silky lush sound that went pouring over the Hutt.

So why don’t we talk about a share of those Casino profits…. and how Corseca gems are a girl’s best friend” she said with seemingly lighthearted humor.

Strask strolled down the booths, impressed by what he saw. Weapons, ships, and more, and even cookies. The last bit made the Bothan smile. But he was here for a different reason. He was looking for equipment and Spynet resources. Stopping at the Czerka booth, he checked the wares. Sniper? Maybe. It would be nice, but a nightstinger was better. Machine gun or assault rifle? No, to large for his life of work. The machine pistols, though.... those would be good. He used one himself, they were good. Mentally running up a price, he looked over the others. Ammo crate? Good. It would be needed. But what caught his attention was the assassin droid. He had heard of them, but to own one? He couldn't pass it up. Sliding a datapad with the order on it to [member="Tyri Lsu"], he added up the price.
1 Crate of CZ-835 pistols
1 Crate of ammo for said pistols
1 HK-24 Assassin Droid
Total: 14000 Credits.

Seilois looked around at the various booths and shops, many selling the kind of toys that a man like him would be interested in, but his purpose today was simple, his... favorite weapons manufacturer had sent him a message about their new products they would be unveiling, and as he used much of their equipment, he could not pass up the chance to expand his arsenal with effective weaponry.

Armtech weaponry had a connection with Seilois that other weaponry didn't have. They weren't the prettiest, but there were few, if any, weapons that got the job done better which is something he shared with them.

After what seemed like an eternity of moving past tightly knit groups of customers, he arrived at his destination, the Armstech booth, leaning against the counter, Seilois looked over the weapons, "So," he said, "I heard you have some new products for... certain people?"

Ah, seemed as if the guy he had contacted finally arrived here. It had been only a few days ago that he sent a flyer to some of his "exclusive" customers that he had some new equipment on offer, and exciting ones they were too, his Railgun Sniper Complex and his Rocket Launcher system.

Gabriel lowered his shades a little, cigar smoking from his lips, he had to be classy after all, so why not smoke the classiest stuff around. "Yup. This baby...Right here." He spoke as he lowered himself to pick up a rifle which was found at the bottom of the clear display case. Placing it on top for the man to examine "This beauty right here is the M6, uses real advanced Railgun technology. I managed to pierce a 15cm durasteel block from 3km out with this. Republic really doesn't like this kinda gear so I'm keepin' it on the downlow." He grinned, taking a long drag before pulling up his second item on offer, and it was in a suitcase-shaped container, he heaved that onto the other side of the display, undoing the clasps and lifting the lid, revealing his "Naast" Rocket Launcher Complex.

"If you're into some serious gear, we've got this for you. We call it the 'Naast', means 'destroyer' in my language. Fires thermobaric rockets capable of vaporizin' targets 34 meters around it." He spoke, pulling out the rocket cylinder from the case. "Also fires a High Explosive Tandem rocket, puts armored vehicles in a whole lot of hurt. Can even fire ion rockets if you're more the pacifistic type, which, no offense of course, you don't look." He continued, brandishing his marketing skills.

15cm from 3km away? That was highly impressive, but the size of the rifle meant he wouldn't be able to use it once they got closer, but a good hit with the M6 would take away their torso. Seilois leaned in looking at the rifle from different angels, and he could understand why the republic wouldn't want such a weapon in the hands of people in his line of work; it would punch through their armor like paper.

Before he could ask any questions, another case was laid on the counter and when it opened, his experienced told him it was a rocket launcher... one that would pack a nice punch. He noticed the revolving drum that seemed to hold four rockets. 34 meter radius on the explosion for the standard rocket? With an armor piercing variant at the ready? Yes, this was the reason he shopped at Armtech.

"This would be the last booth I would come to if I was a pacifist," Seilois said looking over the weaponry again, "You get Armtech if you want to get the job done, I would go to Czerka if I wanted toys," he said, he already knew he was getting the rocket launcher with two crates of the standard and armor piercing rockets as well as extra drums, but the rail rifle called for a closer look.

"May I?" Seilois asked as he motioned he wanted to lifted the M6 and get a feel for it.

[member="Gabriel Audemars"]

"Nah, you wouldn't. This company's a pacifist's worst nightmare." He chuckled, watching the man admire the weaponry. In truth the M6 was a lot simpler than it seemed, there was no real instruction manual needed as everything seemed to assemble and disassemble very logically. A few simple robust twist-and-tighten pins meant field stripping was easy, and the rails were relatively durable too, obviously this wasn't the kind of weapon to be trigger-mashing or bump-firing, but follow up shots were relatively quick, the sheer power and accuracy of this weapon made even testing it mind boggling.

"Sure go ahead." He spoke, keeping an eye on what he was doing, he was carrying a pretty dangerous weapon around.

Seilois slowly lifted the M6, reaching up to pull the action open to ensure it didn't go off as that would get him thrown out of there fairly quickly. From the description of it's power and weight, he knew this thing would kick like a mule, "What kind of rounds do you have for it?" Seilois asked pointing it in the air and looking through the scope to get a feel for the weight on his shoulder.

Yes, this was not one he wanted to try and run and gun with, but a few well-placed shots with it, and most fights would be over, probably before the target knew he had been fired at. Asking for the ammunition type was more to get more information as the second he lifted it, he knew he was going to buy it. His instincts and gut told him it would be a superior replacement to the rifle he currently used.

[member="Gabriel Audemars"]

"Well it fires a 1,52x114mm round and in terms of round types we got your standard Ball Ammunition, Incendiary, Standard Tracer, AP Tracer, AP Incendiary Tracer and you got the Long Sniper round, pretty standard stuff but they all get the job done. I'm planning to release a few new ones later on since it just came into stock."

He listed at the top of head, so the array of round types was pretty diverse, he was planning a baradium AP version to give a little added explosive ordanance, but he hadn't released that yet, as that was still in development stages. "Suits you." He spoke, the all matte black gun was a good fit in general.
