SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Advanced communications, espionage and sensor suite.
  • Communications scrambler to suppress enemy communications. Particularly advanced or exotic communicators may remain unaffected unless close to the droid.
  • Advanced droid brain, leading to an incredibly short reaction time and highly advanced predictive abilities, enabling it to to continuously evaluate motion, distance, wind strength, local gravity, and various other factors to coordinate its movements. All this significantly boosts its accuracy. The Ravager can think tactically, assess risk and evaluate a situation at a rapid rate. This means that when the droid finds itself outmatched in the field, it will adjust its approach and carry out a tactical retreat if need be.
STRENGTHS
  • Quiet, stealthy, incredibly fast, intelligent killer. Able to move quietly and stealthily, the Ravager can evade detection, use the terrain to hide and snipe high-value targets from afar. Its advanced sensor and espionage suite also allows it to gather vital intelligence. The bot is intelligent, able to think tactically and a highly talented sniper.
  • With its powerful vibro-claws, teeth and the spike on its tail, it can also hold its own in melee against lightly armoured foes. Teeth are strong enough to rip a man's arm off. Can use its tail to knock over foes.
WEAKNESSES
  • Vibro-fangs and claws are ineffective against any material a vibroknife could not also penetrate. This includes heavy armour, vehicles etc.
  • Cloaking device, while potent, is not perfect, as there is an oscillation effect. This can make it possible to detect the bot, especially when it is moving very quickly while the cloak is active. EMPs and glancing hits from ion weapons will also cause visual glitches in the Camofibre coating.
DESCRIPTION

When designing her latest killbot, Enyo took inspiration from the feline Cylixes of Dahomey. These ferocious predators are excellent climbers and excel at ambush tactics. The Cyborg decided to create her own robotic version, after a fashion. She called it the Rapid Deployment and Skirmishing Droid - RDSD. And the posse calls it the Ravager Ambush Droid or RAD. Enyo disapproves because of course she does.

Broadly resembling a feline predator, the Ravager is a fast, agile and highly intelligent operator. Using its low profile, it can hide among the high grass and other terrain features conducive to subterfuge, climb trees and scale mountains, starship hulls and walls. Moreover, it features a stealth field generator. Far from being a mindless automaton, the robotic feline is highly intelligent, and capable of self-learning, becoming more dangerous with every assignment.

A long-range sniper rifle is mounted upon its shoulder, enabling it to pick off high-value targets from afar, though it has to decloak for that. Job done, it uses its stealthiness and impressive speed to retreat before it can come under enemy counter-fire. Its advanced sensor and communications suite allow it to gather information and safely relay it to allies. With its advanced scanners it can even detect cloaked beings that would normally elude most scans. It can also coordinate lesser droids.

With its vibro-fangs and claws as well as its spike-tipped tail, the Ravager is also a dangerous foe in melee combat, being able to knock down enemies and penetrate light armour, though it cannot pierce heavy suits of armour. The droid is suited for surprise attacks, sniping and ambushes, not head-on battles.
