- Punchy - PGEM's ship of the line design, it is meant for space superiority and anti-capital purposes and sports weapons to provide it with the chance to wither opponents down before potentially removing them from a fight.
- Turtle Back - Well armored and sporting additional plating atop the standard layout provide this ship with excellent brawling capabilities at the front lines.
- A Queen's Throne - These vessels are equipped with more unique versions of the standard Queen Artificial Intelligence System. With higher processing capabilities due to the limited shackling of each AI, they are better able to assist the crew in their endeavor to maximize their combat effectiveness as well as sharing data between vessels with alarming speed.
- Surprisingly Quick - Even with the base design centered around space superiority and anti-capital purposes, the weapons need to get to the fight quickly, and while not as maneuverable as smaller vessels, this design does sport decent speed.

- Announces Itself - This design of vessel for PGEM is in no way able to conceal itself, and makes no attempt to. Unless enveloped or outshined by another vessel's energy signatures, this line of ships can be found even with civilian scans.
- Focused - The main weapon is mounted in the nose, and unless the whole vessel is aimed, removes the weapon from combat.
- Low Support - Meant as front line vessels, the focus of the design is largely around a weapons platform rather than starfighter support. Even with dedicated defensive systems, an overwhelming swarm can eventually punch through the defensive bubble without supporting ships.
- Blisters - A boon to defending the weapons aboard the vessel, the sliding armored panels can be damaged and malfunction, thus removing weapons from a fight if this occurs.

Citing the growing conflict in the Outer Rim, the need for dedicated company warships was placed on the company's design team. Placing an emphasis on holding a line rather than pushing the line back, the teams went about their design process with the idea of holding the enemy at bay rather than truly overwhelming them.
The process began with a well armored hull, though criticism of the typically angular Hull of the star destroyer lines were noted and revisions made to the design that ultimately lead to a compromise of designs featuring both typical star destroyer formulas blended with more natural finer details featured on Mon-Cal vessels.
This began with reducing the chances for straight-line projectile weaponry being able to gain advantage against the hull from the projected engagement point at the nose of the ship. With sloped and curved lines, the advantage is minimal given the shielding that was projected to protect the vessel, but the shape did add structural integrity when blended with the carbon lattice found in most PGEM vessels upon casting.
Debate over the weaponry followed right alongside the development of the hull, and several small scale prototypes were developed alongside the r&d development of the design.
Finding a need to protect a large scale weapon capable of anti-capital capabilities became the central focus of the weapon layout initially. Eventually finding the best option for deployment and protection of such a weapon along old designs of centering it along the vessel's hull.
Following the conclusion of the main weapon, another addition from Mon-Cal design was made. Blister style domes to protect weapons emplacements along the hull, providing a modicum of Deflection from smaller weapons typically deployed by starfighters to reduce the risk of catastrophic failures.
A small addition was the repulsor tractor beams projectors at the forward section of the vessel, citing the potential use for capturing and detaining smaller vessels or use during war time maneuvers.
While not a centerpoint of the design, a decently sized Hangar Bay was squeezed into the typical centralized location close to a detention area inside the vessel. While not capable of fielding a large number of starfighters, a rack system was devised to better allow for starfighter storage and deployment. Allowing for the central hangar doors to function as a landing pad for smaller captured or friendly vessels if need arises.
Tying the systems together and keeping to the standard of PGEM function and comfort, the design was put through mock trials against other PGEM vessels for in house war games and exceeded expectations.
