Operation 'Hammer' [Sith Enslavement of Togorian Species]

Vexander ducked at the moment the suppresing fire began, the Sith troops didn't know where they were so they were not being successful, still, the young man didn't want to be spotted by Siths now that they were in full alert.

Coci's assestment of the situation was correct, the girl they attempted to shot down was definetely a major target. Otherwise, no Sith would get in the way... and on top of that, the bodyguards seemed to be Force users... and strong ones to sense the two shots.

The young man prepared his rifle and reloaded "We definetely need to get her... at the moment we can take advantage of their current disarray... but we can cause more havok" a smirk showed in his face as he peaked with his scope, kneeling at the ledge of the rooftop to look at the current situation "We need to move fast, they are mobilizing to find us... if we use the alleyways, we can take advantage of the limited personnel left on that side of the landing area and attack with one of the Skynet Teams..."

Vex looked at Coci, his mind was extremely focused in the task at hand and he didn't even think in any visions or images... in fact, they were almost non-existent at the moment. Without even thinking too much, he proceeded with the current objective.

The corellian stood up and placed his rifle in his back. "Come on Lady Sinopi!" Moving with haste, he proceeded to go down the emergency stairs of the building and then move through alleyways closer to the landing pad, hoping for Coci to follow him.

She could feel it, he was as subtle as the others who had worked to enter her head but there was a problem...She had trained anzati, had fought Twin and Isis with their bizarre relationship, had trained Viss and Vex, all the ones trying to get in her head, even Dharma who wasn't an anzati had worked to get into her skull. She had found the same problems and benefit, Teryn abnormalities weren't normal, the reason for her insanity was the same for her gender. Constant years of growing children in tubes to preform labor and tasks had them as far removed from the baseline human as others. It helped bolster her, it was why she couldn't use sensing abilities unless riding that high after eating more energy and once he tried to change her she spoke in a low hiss."Anzati."

It took a moment as she shook her head and came back into it before she focused on something more, images were one thing but she had other benefits, other enjoyments. The Harvesters for instance with their infection and hive mind that was stronger to changing, Spencer had benefited from it and the Phobis device but Shinju had been in it while she grinned. Letting that mask slip and their soothing whispers back in, Consume, Infect, Destroy. Her face sneered while letting her recall Dharma's perceptions and his clothing was talking, now there was an entertaining way to see the world with brighter colors and everything talked, all the things told you secrets or about the world. She wondered how the seer did it without going mad but madness was a point of view she supposed and started to laugh while looking at Flynn.

"Silly boy, I have fought and trained anzati. You do not do that without knowing how to resist their allure, their fun." Shinju let her lips curl with a grin until they curled into a snarl as she gripped the blades a little tighter in preparation while the pulse of darkside energy brought her into a wonderful sense of euphoria while red tendrils snaked along the length of her arms and she sent a focused drain toward Flynn to lap at and take energy while moving with a grin to the right side.

His body was crumbling beneath him, he could feel it; the suit of encasing armour was all that was keeping him in one piece, more or less. Without it his ashen skin would have scattered in the wind, dissolving him without protest. The two large bullet holes, one in his chest and the other in his abdomen, had left him powerless to stop his disintegration. This was it for him, and he knew it. Looking down at his master for what was sure to be his last time in this life, his broken self managed a faint smile; not for himself, but for her. Placing a shivering hand upon her cheek, right below where he had unintentionally brought harm upon her all those years ago, when she was still a little girl, he proceeded to lean in against her and settle his forehead against hers, all while keeping his weakening gaze set upon hers. "You brought me life once, my beloved. Now, allow me to return the favour..." His words were little more than wheezing whispers, and with all going on around them it would be hard for anyone to hear save the one person they were intended for. Grunting heavily as he then forcibly pushed himself onto his feet with the help of Skydd aiding him in doing so, his head then turned to meet the droid's metallic set of eyes. "Farewell, most loyal of friends. Take care of her. Now... get her out of here!" With that said the Ashborn shoved the droid keeping his master within his grasp away from himself, as a gesture to make the two leave the scene. "TELL SIN THAT I AM SORRY, AND THAT I LOVE HIM VERY MUCH." An ounce of strength was returned to him, at this most crucial moment in his existence. The Force was all that was keeping him from buckling under his own weight, and had granted him the necessary energy for one last stand, in service of his mistress. As Skydd backed away with Kära in his grasp, the Ashborn managed a wave of his hand, the faint smile still in effect. He then turned and stepped out onto the battlefield. His last field of battle.

Moving straight through the orderly chaos with little concern for getting hit by the occasional stray shot, Thyrian had now regained all his former splendor as his pace became more steady, and breathing heavily he felt something he had not for quite some time now; his will to exist, if solely for his Queen, was engulfing his entire being, and so it was that he removed the helmet covering every part of his face to expose his fiery inferno. The Ashborn was making one final appearance, it seemed, as his flames reached several feet above him, licking the very sky. His eyes were a fiery yellow, as was his gaping mouth as he roared, making the steady stream of blasterfire around him drown out as he issued a challenge. "I AM THE ASHBORN! YOU HAVE ATTEMPTED TO TAKE THE LIFE OF THE ONE I HOLD DEAR IN THIS WORLD, AND SO I AM FORCED TO DESTROY YOU!" His roar echoed through the streets as his voice boomed forth and verged on shattering the eardrums of those around him. "COME OUT AND FACE ME, AND GRANT ME THE MERCY OF HONOURABLE COMBAT BEFORE I PASS FROM THIS EXISTENCE!" It did not matter where they were hiding, he would find them. His challenge was issued so that he would be forced to play hide-and-seek. He loathed that particular game.

Vexander's assessment of the situation is correct, the Sith would not simply let this go and would hunt them down, as they will target a leader and injured if not killed one of their body guards. She moved quickly behind him as he proceeded to the stair and into the alley way. Coci remained behind him constantly checking for any signs of the enemy to the rear. The city will prove to be of assistance to them, as it lends for cover and escape route if needed, in her mind she mapped out the area. As they approached a position near the landing zone, Coci went on high alert, her senses attuned to Vexander and the surroundings.

This is what he was talking about, the force?, it was speaking to her now and she was using it. She remember his words he had spoken to her back in the training facilities at AoL head quarters. Now that she became more aware, she could also feel a certain strength building within her. She had felt it before, but now she had a name to put to it. Most of her life she had deliberately pushed it away. She was not beginning to understand the value of it more. She smiled.

The roar of a challenge came, it rung in her eyes and make her skin crawl. The man was not dead, "What has one got to do to kill them?", she jested slightly, but in reality it had meaning too. "We shall have to lure him into the streets here, it might be our only chance to kill him and then get to that woman, out in the open we are an easy target", she looked at Vexander for his thoughts.

Krag saw the blade swinging for his gut and knew that the impact of the blade would be partially blocked by the ultrachrome he wore. but also knew that the cylinder of energy would pierce through the fabric holding the front plates and back plates together. There would be pain, yes and there was also the possibility that the ultrachrome would not be able to displace all the heat and end up melting enough for Tracyn's blade to deal a lethal blow. Risks were meant to be taken, however, and a Graug was not afraid to risk death in order to gain a difficult kill. If every Graug decided to back away from a challenge and not take a hit every now and then, their species would have been swallowed whole by Gratos and its beasts of prey.

Krag braced himself for the impact of the blade while also continuing to press hard against Tracyn's crush gaunt so that his hand was rendered motionless. The blade struck the ultrachrome with a sharp cry and microseconds later a burning sensation lit up Krag's side. Krag roared in anger and pain, his barbaric shout rocked the trees and shook the ground as the blade pierced a few centimeters into his side. Building up his anger and pain from the injury, Krag strengthened the force in his gut and sent forth a blazing cloud of flame and ash into direction of @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] 's face.

Tracyn felt the immense heat, first of all. It lipped against his face, and in turn, he felt his skin sear from it. However, Krag had given Tracyn an opportunity like no other, as he reeled his head back, as the flames finally subsided. Tracyn's attunement to the force saved him from being fatally burnt, but half of his face was severely burnt and there would be hell to pay on Krag's part. Tracyn called upon the force, rallying his body and mind as one, in a moving meditation. He was able to resist Krag's massive strength for a little longer with his one hand, and a grunt of his body as he let his lightsaber go. He reeled his hand with the lightsaber back, letting his lightsaber deactivate and float with the force for a moment, and Tracyn reeled his hand back.

Tracyn's martial arts training not only included a number of vicious and particularly lethal maneuvers, but he typically fell back on one in this instance. His crushgaunts, one of the most valuable and in disposable pieces in his gear set, the little that he carried, proved to be quite useful. The Gand findsmen used the piercing touch technique to great effect, and Tracyn too. Amplified by his own natural physique, the force embedded strength he was currently under, his crushgaunts, and his training, and the open stomach of Krag was soon to be broken. Of course, that being said, it was not going to punch straight through. No, rather, but a big dent in the ultrachrome and hurt Krag, a whole, whole lot. And give Tracyn some breathing room as well. Tracyn did this all remarkably fast, thanks to the fact that he really didn't want to have the other half of his face nearly burnt to a crisp. The pain could be ignored for now, but numerous treatments and skin grafts were in Tracyn's near future, that was for sure.

A possible hole in Krag's stomach was in for him, however.

Before unleashing a powerful roar, a lion lowered his head to release the sound, such technique would disorient his prey and usually broke it's will... Just like a lion, a Sith identified as Ashborn attempted to use some sort of Force Scream to lure the Jedi out. Although the voice echoed through all the streets, the young man felt the surge in the Force coming from the landing area where they shot.

Although he was not scared, the young man stopped right in his track... the Sith seemed determined to face and to take his revenge at those who harmed "who he loved". An understandable feeling... but such thing would be fueling his passion and it would run wild through his veins... he would be full of the power of the darkside.

So he is the bodyguard that took the shot? thought the young man as he looked at @[member="Coci Sinopi"], the young girl who also pulled the trigger... Vex felt that it was his duty as a Jedi to confront this Sith, and it wouldn't be the first time he had faced a darksider, but he was not sure if Coci had been in a fight against a darksider... she didn't have a lightsaber nor she had the proper training in the Force... although she was more aware to it.

The images on Vexander's mind began to resurface... in them he witnessed the girl in different battles, and he witnessed the same type of sorrow that he was feeling at that very moment... the feeling that he could lose her... The padawan's eyes opened widely, he didn't know her well enough to experience such feeling, this was the first time that he had spent time with her after her first meeting. But he knew himself and understood the feeling. It was true.

Without even sharing what he was feeling, the young man began to think about going alone on his own against the darksider "You need to guide the Spec Ops to the ships... I'll handle this guy..." Vexander unclipped his lightsaber and hold it tight in his hand. "...he is a Sith and will have great knowledge in the Force... and a lightsaber" without waiting for a reply, the young man just turned around and began to find a way to lure the guy.

He didn't notice if the girl began to follow him, but he focused in finding himself... perhaps the most notable way was by revealing himself. Following the sound that was generated, he peaked through the corridors into the main street to determine where the Sith was, and eventually, after a few tries, he managed to see him...

Still behind cover, he used his own voice to lure him towards the place "ASHBORN! I pulled the trigger!" screamed Vex without peaking anymore "Eventhough you deserve worst for what your kind is doing to innocent civilians... "...you asked for honorable combat, and I'll give it to you... COME AND GET ME!" Vexander knew that it was enough... he proceeded to run deep into the alley because he knew that most likely the Sith would follow him... taking him away from where others would get in the way and to start a one on one combat against him.

Pain from the saber burned like a thousand hells, but the shockwave that followed was like only a single pain Krag had ever felt before. Before he ever knew what had happened, the sky was moving quickly passed his eyes and his feet were no longer touching the ground. For what seemed like forever, Krag just watched the stars of the sky go by and felt the wind gracing past his ashy skin. In those few infinite seconds, Krag felt no anger or pain or even hate anymore...he just felt nothing. Perhaps it was the shock or some divine hand reaching down to calm his mind, it was of little consequence either way. Soon enough, the forever long journey came to an end and Krag felt the hard skin of the planet on the back of his head as he impacted.

Rocks, dirt and other such debris were shot into the air as Krag's massive body slid across the planet's surface. Another eternity seemed to pass by as Krag slid but, just as before, eternity ended and Krag found himself still on the ground. Pain from his stomach rattled his whole body and the searing black blood from his cursed veins began to flow out through opening in his armor. Krag would not notice until much later, but the entirety of the stomach portion of his armor was crushed inward. The beast may have noticed rather quickly, actually, but something dark was overtaking his mind just as it had when he fought that old robbed witch in his days as an apprentice. Pain had overcome what little of a developed mind he had and began to flood his body with primal instincts and adrenaline. Graug were a race of barbarians, their entire life based around warfare and the glory of the hunt.

His vision narrowed and the world was but a tunnel in his eyes, but his body was still motionless. The only sign that Tracyn would have to know his opponent was still alive would be the deep growling that Krag produced from the back of his throat. The growl was dark and animalistic, the sound of a predator just before pouncing on his prey and digging long fangs into its neck. Krag, Sith Knight of the Empire, was gone and had been replaced with a much more primal and vile part of himself...if such a thing even existed. Without so much a flinch to warn the Jedi, Krag flung himself up to a sitting position and fired a burning ball of flame towards the lightsaber floating beside his opponent.

The ball of flames would hit its mark for sure, but Krag payed little attention for his gaze was already locked onto the Army of Light pawn. With the eyes of a hungry predator, Krag gave one last snarl before rising to his feet. The darkside of the planet washed over him like a tidal wave and evil seemed to manifest itself within the beasts soul. @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] had just awakened fear itself.

"Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."
Tracyn gave off a deep sigh, reeling back his hand, wiping some blood and ultrachrome paint that had accumulated on the end of his hand. He stood up to his full height, and put up his hands in a fighting position. He watched Krag arise, and felt his anger. Felt his rage. Tracyn had that, could delve into that. He could use his hate, his anger, his rage. His untapped, unquenched, and unresolved rage. But then he would no better than the beast before him. Tracyn's hands tightened, as he saw his lightsaber be flung away. Tracyn walked over to the lightsaber that Krag had in his hands, and kicked it a good distance away. Tracyn cracked his neck, motioning for Krag to come at him with a movement of his four fingers, and resumed his hand to hand stance, a mixture of all the styles that Tracyn knew. Teras Kasi, Echani, Mandalorian, Gand, among others made him a particular menace when it came to unarmed combat.

Krag may have been born a beast, but Tracyn had been transformed into one. Mandalorians made him tough from the start, and the Jedi made him put that raw talent, and turned the sledgehammer to a fine-tuned knife. Going back to the Mandalorians was almost natural for Tracyn, and his super commando training and experiences made him particularly lethal. He had fine-tuned both sets of his combat instincts, and training made him one of the more lethal Jedi for a Sith to encounter. Tracyn had no fear, he didn't have time to be afraid. He simply stared down Krag, raising a lip in a sneer.

"Come and get it, Krag."
Tracyn said, cracking his knuckles, anticipating one of the hardest fights of his life. He, for the moment, forgot the pain on the side of his face. It would definitely need serious medical attention and healing.

A strange air fell around Vexander again, after the Sith had issued a challenge. What ever it was the plagued him, seemed to have returned and Coci’s brow furrowed, if only he could tell her. But there is no time now. With more command then she had seen in him before, he determined the situation and give her a directive. He is right of course, she is not skilled enough to fight the Sith with the force, not yet anyway, and she had no weapon to match them. She let out a sigh in front of him, no time for pretences now and she nodded her agreement.

“Just … take care please .. and”, she could not finish the sentence, not really sure of her own feelings now, or why she was having them. She watched him disappear into the alleys ways and turn in the opposite direction.

Then she stopped in her tracks as she heard Vexander’s response to the Sith’s challenge. The knot tightened in her stomach more, and she had to fight the urge to run back to him. But she walked on.

The Spec Ops units assembled in a room in one of the large buildings off the alley way. Coci addressed them, “We need to get on board the Sith Ships in order for the slicers to infect their computer systems, controls and operations. Also we need to harvest as much information from their computers for intelligence. It is clear now they are subjugating this planet and removing the local population for slavery, this is typical Sith, no surprises there, however, they are without mercy and are strong. A fool would disregard this and view them as weak, therefore you all must be alert and prepared. Now take this time to do that, check all your weapons and move out”. She finished the address, however she turned to the commander of the units.

“Concentrate your attacks on the outer ships, once the splicers are clear, set charges to blow the ships, we may not be able to destroy them, but we can disable them”, she thought for a moment on where she would be of best use to aid them. Her clear talent is sniper and that is what she would do. “I will be in a secret location from there I can view and relay the situation on ground, also I will take out targets, but I will keep on the move, I don’t want more nasty surprise on my back”.

The commander gave the nod of understand and move out his units. Coci remained for a moment considering her best options. A sick knot was building up in her stomach, as she thought about Vexander. She could only hope that he would be victorious and that see would see him again, she hated the idea that he was facing this Sith alone, there had to be something she could do? But she could not be in two places at once. But for now, she had a job to do, and so she pushed that distraction from her mind, but not without sadness to do so.

She left the building and into the alley ways, her destination unknown.

A sneer, a growl and then a furious and barbaric roar that chilled the air around the flaming beast. Using the force to amplify his own strength, the enraged monster charged forward like a freight train. There would be no stopping and changing direction in a seconds notice, but the power he would unleash upon the area in front of him would be unmatched. A primitive beast had been awoken and he was anything but thoughtful in his approach of attack, for blood red had overtaken his eyes and his heart was full of nothing but hate and anger. Death would be the price Tracyn would pay for enacting the great anger of the Graug.

"YOU DIE!!!!" Was all Krag could manage to bark in his state of mind, but it was all that needed to be said.

As he got within range of the Jedi, Krag drew back his arm and built up a raging flow of darkside energies through it. He hand grew red hot from the immense heating of the skin that Krag was causing with the force and his muscles bulged from the force amplification. Then, just like a meteorite plummeting towards the planet's surface, Krag threw his fist forward. He aimed for the man's chest, hoping to break every bone in his torso and cause his organs and heart to rupture under his great strength. If the attack missed, Krag's fist would impact the ground and shake it like an earthquake. No doubt the kinetic force of the amplified strike would send shrapnel of rock and debris snapping in every direction and leave behind a large hole in the surface.

Darth Vazela came to a stop in the middle of a square. Lifting his hand to his chrono, he brought up the image of Malus Bligh via a holographic recording and spoke into it, "I want reinforcements landing in my position. ETA five minutes." After he was finished communicating to the Sith Commander, he lowered his hand to the side and observed. Smoke littered the air, whilst the sounds of fighting erupted across the city. He was curious to how the Jedi and their subordinates had managed to get onto Togoria without the Empire knowing about it.

Sat in the command seat on board the Obscurity, Malus Bligh had his hands rested on the arm rests of the seat, observing the various bridge officers going about their business. He was satisfied with the current events. The Attrition-class Star Destroyer was in a high orbit of Togoria, ready to dispatch it's compliments to help with the operation. Reports had come in that an unknown force, Jedi judging by the radio chatter, had managed to get onto the world to disrupt the enslavement efforts. That made Malus angry.

A bleeping sound emitting from his chrono device brought him out of his angry stupor. He raised it to his grey, stern eyes and accepted the hail. Darth Vazela came into life via the holographic feed. I want reinforcements landing in my position. ETA five minutes."
"Yes my Lord, it will be done," replied Malus, lowering his head. Then Vazela's holographic image faded as the transmission cut out. Turning his gaze to the communications officer, he said, "Dispatch six Sigma-class transports to Lord Vazela's location. Dominus-class fighters to act as their escorts."

Turning back to the helm, he recoiled back into his seat, wondering why Vazela wanted the reinforcements. Minutes after he had given the order, six Sigma-class transports accompanied by two Dominus-class starfighters for each shuttle was headed to the Sith Lord's position, as per his order.

Caross, center of the city, city square.

Darth Vazela lifted folding his hands into his sleeves, hood very much over his head and thus concealing his facial features, save for the tip of his nose and chin, as well as the yellow, predatory eyes that seemingly glared out from underneath and subsequently into the soul of those that he glared upon. He was a frightening, elusive individual and those unfortunate enough to catch up with him finally were due in for a lesson.

The Sigma-class transports and their Dominus escorts began to drop out of the heavens and into the immediate area. The Lord of the Sith lifted his gaze from the Togorians that were running amok, panicked by the sudden turn of their Sith Masters, to the Obscurity's compliments. As the Sigma's took their positions in the city square, unloading their soldiers, their escorts began to circle around the area. He waited for the Stormtroopers on board to make their way out of their transports. Forming a perimeter from him and their vessels, soon the city was on lock down.

"Colonel," Vazela said, as an Imperial officer approached him. The man lowered his upper body, then lifted it to listen to his master. "Begin pulling all Togorians to this square. I want each and everyone of them on their knees, in single rows, closely knitted together. It is my intention to end this Jedi intrusion on their world by gathering a large quantity of Togorians to our position and subsequently holding them hostage." Turning his gaze away from the officer, he said, "I also want something to communicate to all the Sith, in one minute."
"Yes, my Lord. It will be done."

The Colonel lowered his head quickly before running back to a Sigma to retrieve the device that Vazela asked for. He returned within a minute and lowered it before the Sith Lord. "Dismissed," he said after the Colonel was finished. The man turned away and went about his orders. Soon, word spread among the Sith Lord's forces and in minutes, Togorians of all range and sizes, ranging from children to female. Even the occasional male, which was a strange occurrence in Caross due to Togorian culture were there, as well as Human and other near-Human species who weren't necessarily native to Togoria, but nonetheless there.

Activating the communique, the Lord of the Siths voice spread to the Empire's forces, including the Sith on the ground. His holographic image appear on those whom carried holo projectors, whilst his words emitted along other communiques out loud or via text. Whatever was suitable. "My name is Darth Vazela, Lord of the Sith."

"The Jedi incursion on this planet will end, now. All of you are to come to my position and all Togorians rounded up by you or our forces will come with you as well. If the Jedi are to fight us in order to stop us, then they will fight us here; and then they will surrender, less we execute every single Togorian that we have already taken. Jedi are compassionate, it is why they have come to Togoria to fight us. They will surrender or we will destroy the people they are trying to save."

He cut off his transmission across Togoria and began to walk. He stopped at the front of the kneeling Togorians that his soldiers had already gathered, watching them quietly. Then he shut his eyes and attuned himself to the dark side, keeping his senses attuned, ready for any attack on himself, his forces and his position.

Tracyn stood still, until the heat of Krag's fist was in contact. What came next, was nothing short of a near-miracle of prowess. Tracyn sidestepped, in a graceful move, and brought his leg upwards. Krag was big, and particularly dumb at this point. Tracyn was lethal, and was clear-headed. He was also slightly faster and far better trained in hand to hand combat than Krag was, and the motion that Krag was using was easily identifiable and therefore very, very, easy to out-perform.

Tracyn made sure to his shin of his leg, the armored, heavier part. Contrary to popular belief, you were not really supposed to kick with your feet or the ankle, but rather the shin thanks to the strong bone, and in Tracyn's case, the bone and the armor, which were flying for Krag's open ribcage. The heat from his body was something Tracyn never felt before in an opponent, but it didn't deter him from dishing out the punishment to Krag anyway.

Veino paused in the attack, pulling back to a defensive to catch his breath when the message was broadcast. He tilted his head to listen, and a meteor of ice solidified in his stomach. Of course the Sith would do this. He let the chill float away, and refocused on his center. His real center. The one that went one step farther than the Jedi's and was a main distinguisher between him and them. He waited until he was calm and at peace. Then he froze it, hardening into steely resolve and relentless determination.
He stopped, and then attacked again, driving forward, blade flashing from left to right to down and then up again, sliding between her blades. Unfortunately, he had a very distinct feeling he wouldn't be able to maintain it very long. Not with two blades flashing around him.

As Vulpesen took his leave, a large sense of fear threatened to overwhelm him. It was a wild fear, a deathly fear, and a mass fear. He wasn't completely sure what this was until he saw the sith being to round up and march the togorians away. Being a fairly smart person, he quickly pieced the puzzle together. People feel this fear when there is a gun pointed at them. He can feel this fear when it is concentrated, and these people were being led in the same direction, it had to be a genocidal hostage situation. "@[member="Kei Amadis"], we've got a problem." Kark turning your back on a sith. If @[member="Marcus Faust"] wanted him that bad, then he'd need a speeder to catch the boy who was now in a full on sprint towards the location of the sensed fear.

Even as he ran, Vulpesen's mind was tumbling though all the plans he could think of. Variables were being estimated and odds were being weighed. He couldn't afford a miscalculation in a situation like this. To avoid such problems, he stayed off the main routes and away from the slave walks. He wouldn't move until given the order, but until then, he was going to keep a steady watch over the hostages. Ruurrri save the man who fired the first shot. Because Vulpesen would see justice on him if no one else. He had always wondered if he should have followed his passions and become a sith. Such thoughts were quite prominent after the capture of Nar Shadaa, but now he was sure. The sith were an abomination and he was prouder than ever to be in the Army of Light.

Hawke's Jackboots clicked as she traveled along the permacrete sidewalk. Her personal guard also added to the footfall. A large gathering of Togorian's had been corralled to this square by Lord Vazela. Hundreds, perhaps thousands. It was tough to judge the true number. Along with a great deal of military personnel and material to keep them there. Hawke stepped off the walkway and onto the roadway. The dark figure of Vazela stood like a vulture above those about to die. While Hawke was in direct contrast to him for she wore a white robe and military regalia. She was sworn by oath to protect the people of the Empire. He hadn't nor held any such convictions. The Emperor was instituting slavery back to the Empire. Hawke may of held no authority over the situation but her opinion would be heard here.

Vazela's guards made an attempt to stop them, but Hawke simply brushed them by and allowed her men to scuffle with his. She continued on the short distance to him unabated. Her heels stopped a good six feet behind his left shoulder. And she did not look at him, simply by him. Her eyes scanned the knelt crowds. Their guards settled down, the scene not worth having anymore. Hawke stood in observance for a good minute before she broke her silence with a calm, almost emotionless trail of remarks. "Lord Vazela. This is your plan. To corral these people like livestock to lure in the Jedi and their allies from stopping a massacre. And you will kill them anyways won't you. Or have the Emperor do worse to them". She paused a short moment. Not for a choke in her throat or a mis-track of thought. Simply to gauge any kind of reaction. "You know what you deserve Vazela. You deserve nothing short of being shot several dozen times in the back and left to die half submerged in a ditch. Not the strength left in your body to raise your head for air as the water and wounds bring you to your deliverance".

His flames licking the air above his head, the Ashborn stepped towards the voice which had answered his challenge. The stormtroopers in his way quickly scattered at his approach as he ventured into the alleyway, the beginning of a mace of corridors and tight corners. Struggling just to keep himself on his feet, using the pent up rage of the past decade, he was unfit to run after his target, which he had yet to see. He could sense him, though, his presence visible in the Force. Pacing through the lonely alley, he turned his head at every corner, checking for signs of his attacker, before continuing straight ahead. He marched to his doom, one way or another; should the man responsible for the attempted assassination of his Queen elude him, his surge of strength would sooner or later wane and leave him as vulnerable as he was just mere minutes ago, no doubt killing him. What kept him going for now was thinking of his master, and the decade they had shared together. She was his everything, his reason to be, and the reason he had lived for so long, even after his body was failing him constantly. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust..." he muttered to himself as he journeyed onwards through the ever darker corridor.

Meta woke up, in the middle of a battlefield. What had happened when he had seen the sith emperor he did not know. But, republic commando's were at his back. Keeping the sith at bay as they dragged him to cover. He woke up as one of the two troopers carrying him was shot in the back. He pulled the lightsaber from his belt and jumped to his feet, using his saber to deflect some bolts as he pushed back with the soldiers. Then, he joined them in cover. "Where did you find me?" He asked as a mortar hit a few metres away. "Just outside the woods sir." One answer. Meta nodded and turned to the majority of the soldiers hiding behind a bolder. "On my go, we charge!" He shouted, all of them nodded and Meta took a moment before leaping over the cover. At first he used the force, knocking back a few of the sith soldiers. A sith knight was amongst them, he was carrying duel blades. "Focus fire on the sith!" Meta ordered, he continued to focus on their troops. Deflecting blaster bolts back into their chests and the sith knight was doing the same to his soldiers. There were three soldiers on the republic side, and now 2 on the imperial sith. Though, the sith was deflecting bolts quicker. Therefore Meta felt it necessary to intervene. He clashed blades with the knight but was easily out matched and maneuvered. Meta used his force speed and augments to keep up however, before outstretching a hand and redirecting one of the sith troops as he fired, the redirected blaster shot and it hit the sith in his lower leg, he dropped down to one knee in pain, in that precise moment. Meta took the oppertunity and brought down his lightsaber with all his weight. Even a stronger sith wouldn't be able to withstand it. It crushed the siths defences and cut right through him. But as soon as the sith was down, the republic troopers shot down the imperial ones. "Good work." He announced. Nodding to the three remaining.
