Operation 'Hammer' [Sith Enslavement of Togorian Species]

| @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] |
[OOC: On your next post, give me a relative tl;dr of where you are so I know what to write next. Thanks.]

Darth Vazela landed in a hangar bay that was under the control of Empire forces. Located in Caross, the landing area was being utilized for the Empire's forces to land and join in the effort to enslave the Togorian slaves. Several Sigma-class shuttles sent from the Obscurity had accompanied the Sith Lord down to the planet surface. "Colonel, I want this landing bay turned into a fortress. Set up staging grounds for the slaves to be rounded up and held for processing. This area is now under your command."

Turning away from James Kerval, Vazela headed out of the hangar bay, removing his Lightsaber from his utility belt to begin his search for the Jedi's presence. He was now a predator hunting prey and Tracyn Ordo was the man who would be the individual that the Sith Lord was hunting.

Stepping out of the Sigma-class transport, James Kerval lifted his WESTAR blaster rifle and motioned forwards for his troops to form a perimeter. As he did, he listened to the Sith Lord he had escorted from the Obscurity down to the planet surface. "Colonel, I want this landing bay turned into a fortress. Set up staging grounds for the slaves to be rounded up and held for processing. This area is now under your command." Then the dark hooded figure that was Darth Vazela left the hangar bay for parts unknown to James.

Turning away from the Sith, he headed towards a podium and lifted his arms ahead of him. "Attention." The soldiers present in the area came to a stand still. Some had served alongside him on the Obscurity, but the majority had already been stationed at the landing bay for some time. That didn't matter to the Colonel, so long as they listened to him. "I need two staging grounds for slaves to be put in for processing. I want a perimeter formed around this base. Let's get moving people."

Moving away from the podium, he headed towards the soldiers that had accompanied him on the Sigma he had used to make his way down to Togoria. "All of you, with me. Time to scout the area and begin rounding up these Togorians." Heading towards the exit with his team, James Kerval led the way out.

Kaine was quite caught off guard by Disciple's question, for it was one that Kaine could not possibly answer. He stared at Disciple, a little bit dumbfounded, but he recovered quickly enough from the stunning question. "How should I know, Disciple? I haven't heard nor seen you in ages, so I wouldn't know how you'd come to this world at this exact moment in time. Did you get sucked through space and time?" He casually joked as he took two more steps towards the armored Sith Lord, but the truth was Kaine was rather curious to how Disciple had gotten here as well if he didn't know how he'd gotten here. Quite the mysteries one came across in this age and time did indeed boggle the mind to no end.

@[member="Vulpesen"] had almost ensnared the Knight, almost. Diving away from the blast it merely consumed his left leg from the knee down, sadly that was the only appendage Marcus had completely replaced by prosthetics. Pulling himself up, he activated his saber and assumed a defensive stance, he had to play it safe until his leg kicked back into gear, which could take Force knows how long.

Spinning his saber in a flurry of crimson, he taunted Vulspen without a single word. He wanted to see the Knight go one the offense, see if he truly had the caliber to survive in such a field. He kinda hoped he didn't have that caliber, he wanted him dead so he could move on to more important things in his life.

Vulpesen raised an eyebrow to @[member="Marcus Faust"]'s display, landing lightly on his feet. "I don't believe we were ever introduced." Keeping a safe distant, Vulpesen saluted the sith with a refined makashi flourish. "I am Vulpesen Espadus Torrevaso, Shadow of Amar and member of the Army of Light." His wounds had put him in slight pain, but he ignored that fact, keeping himself confident. Pain could be ignored. A useless leg could not.

A buzz on his comlink and the orders of @[member="Kei Amadis"] reached his ears. Good. He was looking forward to back up, and he was glad when he looked up and saw several wildcards arriving to the scene. "The tables have turned sith. You may be stronger, but I am not alone. As such, I will ask only once. Give me back my crystal." Vulpesen placed one of his lightsabers away and put his hand on his comlink, prepared to give any orders to attack the disadvantaged sith. That crystal was his main priority at the moment, thought he kept his mission in mind. Beside's keeping this sith's attention would probably be beneficial in the objective his superior had given him.

"I am Marcus Devjorn Faust, and I am not alone." He uttered, just as stormtroopers rushed to his side and opened fire unleashing a hail of blaster fire upon @[member="Vulpesen"]. The boy forgot that the Emperor's personal fleet lie in orbit, and that the Emperor himself was on the ground, the Army of Light was heavily outnumbered and outgunned, both in manpower, firepower, willpower, and skill. The rag ag group of heroes would fall under the blades of the Sith. Anyone could see this was inevitable. But of course the Jedi would ignore this, try to kill him, and die.

As the force of energy rushed toward him, Krag deflected it with his own wall of force energy that turned the hit into a slight bump rather than a blast that would send him hurling backwards. This was going to be fun, the beast could already tell. With a sick grin on his face, Krag rushed forward with his blade arm cocked back and lightsaber deactivated. As he thundered toward his prey, Krag charged up a ball of flames in his left hand and quickly chucked it in the direction of the Jedi while simultaneously building up an attack of fire in the depths of his belly.

The ball of flame would either hit its mark, or not, the result did not much matter to Krag. The real goal of his attack was to distract while he moved in for the kill. The black creature, his massive shadow casting a veil of death across the ground and his ultrachrome boots crushing the ground beneath his feet, brought up his lightsaber arm as he got in range. The saber would remain deactivated throughout the majority of his swing but would flicker to life as soon as the hilt was less than 12 inches from Tracyn. The goal of such an attack was to make following the direction and target of the blade harder to verify due to the absence of the plasma until the last second.

If all went as planned, Krag's blade would be aimed to slice through the Jedi at the shoulder.

@[member="Kaine Zambrano"]

"That's my guess, but I cannot be sure. This is hardly the first time this has happened." The figure seemed to sigh, helmet tilting to look up and at the glow of moonlight coming through the canopy above. "You've assembled quite a bit of forces, here, Kaine. What's the reason? Why are you here."

Disciple didn't much keep up with Sith politics, as the constant revolving door of power kept him from caring much about anyone who wound up in charge. Competent or not, they all wound up leaving in the same time - usually about a month or two.

Vulpesen would smile as he finally heard the name of his enemy. It was good to know the identity of those who you may have to kill, or may indeed kill you. However, he did find himself in a bit of trouble when the storm trooper's began to open fire on him. "Wild cards, shock the saber, and blast the plastic men!" Once again leaping into the air, Vulpesen deflected the shots back to several enemies, growling as a few singed their way into his leg. He was also slightly peeved when he say the ear of his mask falling down below him, shot off by a close shot. "Great, now I have to buy a new one." While he ascended to the air, a group of AoL soldiers open fired on the troopers, lobbing grenades at them while the remainder of the men hurled a plethora of EMPs at the sith.

"Aren't you full of surprises?" He motioned for a group of soldiers to split off and begin working on the mission objective, then called upon the force to keep the EMPs on track. Vulpesen was aware the odds were not in his favor, but his actions were his own, fueled by his sense of duty and honor instead of pain and hatred. He had to keep sight of the reason he was here, and though he was out manned, and outgunned, he would hold till the last moment to keep this menace occupied while the demolition men set about rigging the ship with explosives. @[member="Marcus Faust"]

Blessed are the peacemakers
Tracyn waved aside the flames, in all of a matter of seconds. He stood still while Krag, the beast that moved like a tank, raised his blade high above his head. Tracyn closed his eyes, and trusted in the force for a moment. He brought up his hand, and Krag's blade slammed into his crushgaunt, forcing Tracyn downward, but nonetheless, he held the blade in his shuk'orok, the force of Krag's mighty blow dropping Tracyn down lower, and Tracyn grunted under the massive strength of Krag. Tracyn was strong, and could arm wrestle a Wookie or Trandoshan and come out on top, but Krag was like a bulldozer in that respect, so Tracyn literally didn't have much of a chance. Tracyn was only using one arm to hold the blade, so he had to act quickly.

Tracyn lightsaber roared to life, as it went straight for Krag's stomach, with Tracyn being so low and holding the two-handed hit, Krag would either have to forgo the pressing attack or face a very nasty stab through his gut, neither of which were entirely good options.

Skynet Spec Forces and @[member="Coci Sinopi"]
Location: Moving towards the landing site

"Roger that Kei" Vexander prepared himself and his rifle "I think that your tactic is quite great..." said to Coci while he moved towards the streets, looking carefully around corners and remaining hidden "If we serve as spotters, the hacking teams can get into the landing ships, recover information and then disable them... also, we can provide cover from up there."

Vexander moved slowly, masking his presence in the Force in order to get by surprise any troops that they would encounter, from time to time they would hear a few shouts and troop movement real close, but they were too preoccupied with the open engagement the other AoL teams had in other places. Based on the schematics that they managed to hack through the trojan they planted on Bimmisaari, they were getting close to the landing ships "We better look for high ground... while we split the forces..." looking at the senior officer from the Spynet currently involved in the operation, the young man proceeded to order in an unfamiliar way for him "... you handle that... or follow Coci's orders, I'll just get up there" Moving towards an alley way with emergency stairs, he proceeded to use the Force to leap from the ground and pull down the retractable stairs and allow Coci to go up "...we'll keep radio communication Commander. We spot and you move" said Vex while he looked down and waited for his sniper companion.

"I've come to harvest..." He said at first, his gaze moving from Disciple to the sky towards the Capital City, where his forces continued to enact his will against the Togorians. "With my reign comes the return of slavery, but that itself is a farce. I have no true need for slave labor, but rallying behind the enslavement on undesirable species is a good way to conceal my true method." He looked once again back to Disciple, "I plan to create an army, an army of Sithspawn that will wash over all who would dare oppose me, and my Empire. These 'slaves' will be the first to be experimented on with samples I collected from the Akure Leviathan, and once I have perfected the transmogrification from Togorian to Sithspawn, then I will move onto the next race, and the next, and the next until my army is innumerable." He chuckled, a harsh and violent cackle that would un-nerve some, but not the Sith Lord.

"And then I will feed them the entire Galaxy."

Coci did not waste any more time, as soon as the spec ops divided and proceeded in all directions around the city, she climbed up the metal stairs to the roof. She lowered her self into a crouch position and moved toward the edge of the roof to get a good position and sight. She removed her rifle from her shoulder and used the sight to view the ships, there is a guard set on the ships, all patrol the immediate area, but the majority of the soldiers had moved off into the city.

"We need a distraction, to draw away some of those patrols on the ships", she looked to Vexander now, "Maybe an explosion or two", she smiled. "If we can draw away some of those soldiers the hackers will be able to do their job".

Veino picked himself up, clutching his lightsaber, still in shock. Did nobody care? Or did they just not notice? But still, a sour taste lingered in his mouth. He looked back over at @[member="Jek'ai Cyin"] and @[member="Satine D'nara"]. Did they see? He pointed towards the wailing family. "Does that even matter to you? Do you have any compassion left?" Emotion choked his voice, and let out a resigned sigh. This was not the clean and idealistically fueled crusade he had expected. This was war, and as he had just discovered, even righteous crusades were still wars, and just as ugly.

"Now where are the children? My lovely Kära needs her toys and I so don't want to kill you just yet." Shinju laughed while she looked at the female and held her over the edge of the roof. With a jerk of the fiber cord the woman whelped before refusing to speak again. "Well then if you won't speak I guess we'll have to let the next one do it won't we." Shinju let the fiber cord go from her hand as the woman fell and there was just a wonderful crunch. The wet sound of a head splitting open and she turned around breathing deeply. A smile played across her face while she skipped and then she stopped seeing a head pop up and then another while she just crossed her arms and hopped onto a ledge. Oh new people to question and kill this would be fun.

"That it?" He asks, entirely nonplussed about what he'd just been told. It was a plan he'd already tried, countless times. He'd nearly succeeded too, but the army needed conventional help if it was going to truly succeed. It was a waste of resources otherwise. "You're walking down a path with no end, then, I'm afraid." Shaking his head, Disciple frowned beneath his helmet.

Kneeling, he dug into the dirt with a few fingers.

A moment later, he came up with a worm. "This can be many things.", he says quietly, turning it over in examination. "A tunneler to dig under the largest of fortresses. A battering ram to crash their walls open. Such possibilities, and yet they're always wasted." Looking to Kane, he shook his head. "You lack the hive mind necessary to run a force of Spawn that large."

Disciple's own massive Swarm had taken a huge mental toll on him, and one could argue it was the reason he'd been so crazy for so long. "Besides, don't bother making Sithspawn. Just alchemically alter them to give each race a role, and merge them into a massive army capable of tackling all things. You're thinking too narrow with just 'sithspawn'."

The young man followed the lady up the roof. Once in position, he crouched next to her and began to survey the whole place with the help of the Force. Her ideas were amazing, she was a smart girl and quite knowledgable, a fine addition to the Army of Light and Vex was lucky to have her next to him... although she a tickling bomb that could give him problems in his mind if he didn't keep focused... if he opened his mind to those images that usually were part of his biggest issues.

Looking through the scope of his rifle, the young man began to survey for the whole place... he began to look closely at the area "If we could shoot at two different places at the same time... two barrels or something..." the idea sounded quite odd, and ridiculous, how could a barrel explode just with a shot? Nevertheless, the idea stopped at the moment he saw that they were bringing Togorians to the ships.. rounding them up and bringing them like animals... "...wait!... wait wait wait!... they are capturing locals!?" the idea of causing an explosion was now dangerous due to the possible collateral damage. "Change of plans Coci, we need to come up with another idea..."

A panic scream accompanied with a nearby laughter caught the corellian's attention, taking his attention out of the sniper scope, he began to look at his surroundings and then... without warning and completely silent, he managed to see it... see her. Close to a ledge nearby, a powerful presence... a dark presence... was standing and looking at them.

Vexander inmediately turned around and faced at what seemed to be a Sith... what definetely was a Sith, the trace of dead could be felt through the Force, she probably killed someone not too long ago "Coci... we have company..." whispered Vexander while he left his rifle in the floor and stood up in a ready stance, with his right hand almost at his belt, like reaching for something.

"And who might you be?" Vexander gazed at the girl and analysed her movements carefully "Darksider?"

Satine huffed at him for his pleas, his asking if they felt sorry for it. The boy did not know what the Sith believed in and therefore knew nothing of how they felt. "You act as though we did it deliberately. It's not our fault this is what must come. The strong and the weak. One above the other. That is the rule of the universe and we intend to keep to it." She drew both sabers from her belt, not activating them, and asked "Now, are you going to preach to me all day about your bleeding heart, or do I need to cut it out of you to see for myself?" She stood ready to fight, not sure what @[member="Jek'ai Cyin"] would do, but it didn't matter. She would face @Veino Garn regardless.

Noticing that Marcus and the Jedi seemed to have a... personal vendetta against each other, Jek had moved back, preparing to shoot someone when the right moment appeared. It wasn't until the original attacker spoke did she remember that he was there. Turning to the jedi-who's-not-a-jedi, she sighed and opened her mouth to speak. "Live as a slave yourself. Go through the tortures, the beatings, and the like. And when you stand still at the end, covered in scars, tell me you can still feel anything other then hate. Life is not fair, it is cruel. To everyone, including yourself. Of that I have no doubt. Compassion is a flaw these days, for it only lets you get hurt. Call me selfish, but I'd rather be hateful and cold, but survive, then be compassionate and loving, but end up with a blaster held to my head. Sorry kid, but this is how the galaxy works." With that she started moving, having heard the familiar voice of her current commander, the famous cannibal interrogator.
@Veino Garn

Veino gazed glumly at them. So it was true then. The Dark Side did corrupt and destroy those who fell to its power. Perhaps in some other situation he could have discussed it with them. In the middle of a battleground while carefully evading a duel far beyond his skill level? Probably not, and he doubted they would agree to meet somewhere else to discuss it. He just shook his head sadly, sorrow in his eyes.

"I am sorry then, for both of you, to live that way." He looked from one to the other. Perhaps the one with a blaster could still be saved. "For there is no joy in either way. Nor much purpose. " He looked to Jek'ai, "Pain is not evil. It warns us and tells us when we have gone too far. Nor is compassion the same as weak and pacifism. The most compassionate and caring person I have ever known was also the deadliest warrior I have met." He pAused, thinking. "Second or third now. I've met a few Mandalorians."

Then he looked back at Satine. "I would prefer to preach, but if you won't listen, so be it." He rubbed his fingers along the hilt, tracing its lines. No need to activate it quite yet. Hopefully he wouldn't have to.
