Operation 'Hammer' [Sith Enslavement of Togorian Species]

EMP, now he had to move. Jolting to the right and away from the blast he surged towards @[member="Vulpesen"] launching another strike at his head, but it was false. Leading off with the pseudo-strike, his blade curved low, under the Jedi's defense before stepping back and reaching out in the force and picking up a cloud of dirt which was then propelled into the Jedi's eyes. When he re-opened them, he'd be surrounded by clouds of dust, and Marcus would be nowhere to be seen, all that could be heard to signal his location was the clink of trophies as he encircled his prey.

The boy spoke of pain as if he knew it, had some sort of understanding of the concept. The very ideas almost made him burst into psychotic laughter. The boy knew nothing of pain, of suffering. But worry not, he would. Leaping towards his back, Marcus activated a saber and attempted to run Vulspen through. With his own family saber.

Veino jerked away the duel, relieved that backup had arrived, but not entirely glad he was so close to a duel between people who were much more powerful than he was. Like walking out of a kitchen with food on fire into a living room that was an inferno. He swung his lightsaber around to block the lightning spillage that seemed to rush his way, and his arms nearly buckled beneath the power. He couldn't imagine what it'd be like to have it directed at him. He took several steps back, still keeping an eye on the other two. The Force warned him of the sniper bolt, and he saw that it'd miss and headed for a child. He summoned the Force, and dove for it, reaching out with his arm extended to block it. He failed, and crashed to the ground, in shock. How could that happen? He should have been faster. He was faster. He used to be. Now he wasn't. And a child was dead because he didn't want to practice while travelling. Numbness settled over him, quieting the sounds of the duel and battle nearby.

"Bingo." Vulpesen grinned as he finally found a weakness. Seeing the slice at his head, Vulpesen ducked under it but found himself being pushed back as he haphazardly blocked the real attack, growling at a small burn which had found its way to his shoulder. @[member="Marcus Faust"]'s retreat gave him enough time to regain his wits and duck his head to allow the dirt to bounce and slide off his mask, away from his eyes. After all, it couldn't all be for aesthetics. Though he needn't close his eyes, he did have to look down but the lack of pain did allow him to focus on Faust's force presence. Vulpesen once again prepared himself for the assault, but found part of his focus shattered when he heard a very familiar snap-hiss.

A jedi's blade held a certain nuance perfectly fitted to them through the choosing of the crystal. Vulpesen had learned the nuances of that family crystal, and he found it sick that Faust would use such an insult against him. The clink of sabers and a waring in the force, warned Vulpesen of the coming attack and he quickly turned around, using one saber to deflect the lunge upwards, as to impede his other hand due to the angle while his free saber moved in a quick swipe towards the offending arm, attempting to sever it midway down the forearm, and consequentially free his family crystal from this sadistic sith. Vulpesen had no intention to die with his weapon being in the Faust's possession, and he damn sure wasn't going to die due to such a simple trick as that.

"You know me, Kaine... I only hide with reason...", a chuckle seemed to carry on the very wind that was even now abandoning the forest. The air, as the Blackblades moved in, was still. Dead. Nary a sound was hefted upon it's weight, and the temperature had dropped precipitously the moment they'd passed into the woods.

But Disciple wasn't hiding. There was no need to hide. He could be found if he wanted to be found, all without hiding from those who were seeking him out.

Reaching out with his considerable mind, he dug into the minds he could and projected an imagine of nighttime. The woods darkened, the moon came out, and it didn't matter what the real time was... they were now in twilight. And through all this, Disciple didn't move.

Not even when the first scout saw him standing, silver armor gleaming in the moonlight that filtered through the woods of the clearing. But this wasn't an ordinary clearing - this was a circular prison. The trees around the perimeter had been slid together, leaving no space to get through the wood.

All except at one point, an archway made of branches that allowed two men abreast, easily.

And still, even as the first men trickled in, the figure stood still.

He wasn't hiding. He had no reason to hide.

"Come to me, @[member="Kaine Zambrano"]."

OOC:
sorry for the short post, I just have no idea what to write.
"Kote bah jetiise..."Said Tracyn as he stepped in front of Krag's path, dropping a dead Sith trooper to the ground. He stood in his way of Krag getting to Marcus, or anyone for that matter. Tracyn twirled his lightsaber around his body, and scraped some of the blood and bits off his crushgaunt adorned hands, and body. The dead troopers near him, were lifeless and it was obvious Tracyn gave no quarter to the Sith, and would offer no quarter or let Krag simply walk by unchallenged. Tracyn bounced up and down on his heels, like a boxer, before dropping his blade forward, marking the Djem So stance.

The force gave him power and strength, but he did not rely on it. He was not dependent on it.
He set aside passion, letting peace and serenity finally flow through him.
He set aside the chaos of the battle around him, and let the harmony of the universe find it's way into his body.
Sith said that the force was the tool to break their chains, but Tracyn had broken his chains long ago.
The force had not set him free, there was nothing to be freed from. That was the ultimate lie of the Sith, everyone was free. They just had to take action for freedom to be presented to them. Tracyn glared at Krag, waiting for Krag to either accept or deny his challenge.

The hand attempting to cut off his arm would be caught with his now free hand and yanked it away from his other arm, the attempt at impeding his movement had failed. The saber would deactivate and Faust would leap back into the dust and mask his force signature as he continued to whip up loose dirt. With him blind and clueless, Marcus did something rather crazy, he threw a Togorian at him with the force. In all likelihood he'd be caught off guard, perhaps even decapitate the poor thing, but none of that mattered, it simply played its role by distracting Vulspen long enough for him to snake in close enough and activate his lightsaber and let off a quick barrage of attacks, the disappearing once again.

@Vulpesen

Vulpesen would quickly feel the danger of the projectile and he likely would have killed the poor being had he not felt the terror eminating through the force. Instead, he simple force pushed him aside, allowing his mind to quickly refocus, but not so quick as to keep him without marring. As his enemy closed in, Vulpesen leapt forward, growling as he took a small saber slash across his back. "That's gonna hurt in the mornin'." Still, it was good to be alive and as Vulpesen' reached his feet, he called upon the force to whip the winds around him making enough wind surround him enough to allow a discreet drop of an non-activated EMP before covering the bomb in a thin layer of dirt. Turning to the sith, he resume his stance, refusing to let his pain show. "That was rude." He doubted that the sith would be able to sense the bomb due to it's nonthreatening nature. Having been inactivated it posed little threat at the moment, especially since Vulpesen wasn't ready to activate it for a while. @[member="Marcus Faust"]

@[member="Vexander Graves"]

The fighting around them had resumed and many had come to their aid. A jedi, a rough looking one, threw himself into the fight and destroyed the enemy, he did not waste time on banter but left to go into the fray once again. This gave Vexander and Coci a moment to think about the situation, as they remained in cover for the moment. Coci looked around to the spec ops squads she had with them now. They would be able to be more use within the city, to gather more intelligence of the situation and stop any violence from the Sith.

She ducked down lower and spoke to Vexander, "We should move into the city, try and find out what is going on there, those Imps are not here for a holiday. There is a large amount of ships in the center, why don't we go and see if we can disable them, give those Sith something else to worry about". She said with a smile.

Coci gave the signal to the squads to move out toward the city, she moved with them as they all disappeared within the city streets.

Now that he'd worn @[member="Vulpesen"] down, and gotten him used to a certain rhythm of strikes, he switched it up. Sprinting in circles around him and whipping up more dust, lightning shot from his hands, hitting the Jedi from every direction at a rapid pace. When they last met, Vulspen had a slight advantage in speed, Marcus had trained to the point where this was no longer an issue, his speed matched his strength and cunning now, the Jedi had all but lost.

"Give in boy."

Vulpesen had to admit, it was a fairly ingenious tactic and it would have worked had Vulpesen not had one more option. True, the boy had used speed to his advantage, but his greatest asset was his mind. His own training had only improved it, giving him a faster reaction time when @[member="Marcus Faust"] unleashed his volley. Leaping into the air, Vulpesen avoided the cyclone of electric energy and used his sabers to deflect what traces of lightning followed him.

As he flew up, he figured it was time to unleash his next trick, sending a force nudge on the EMP to send it closer to the circle's edge before activating it with a quick depression. He had rigged two of his five grenades to explode upon activation, using them for force hurls, or tricks such as this one. Marcus, having focused on capturing his prey and not having seen the trick's start would have little if any chance of escaping the debilitating pulse. "Nice tricks. How do you like mine?" Despite his brave words, Vulpesen had to admit that he had been caught somewhat off gaurd. Luckily his training encouraged constant movement, making his ability to escape trouble a bit higher than one would expect from a being his age.

A laugh that was deep, malevolent and booming like the voice of a cruel devil unleashed upon the galaxy. In all truth, Krag was just that and there was little denying this fact when faced directly with the hulking beast. The Graug's skin was ashy black with splatters of searing fire burning brightly through fissures in his skin that could only be described as supernatural. The beasts left eye was a burning red, blinded by his birth, while his right was a deep yellow that resembled the eyes of many sith past except for the thin reptilian pupil that floated amongst the yellow yoke.

Raising his hand up and pointing a clawed finger at the Jedi, the beast gave a short, predatory snarl "You...you are Jedi." calling his blade to his hand, Krag growled in utter disgust and hatred "Your kind follows weakness around like a pack of sick dogs, whimpering for a taste of true power but never receiving any." Bringing his blade arm back behind his body and angling it at a slanted decline away from his opponent, the beast took his own converted form of Dejem So "your skull will make a fine trophy." Krag growled quietly before thrashing his empty hand out towards the Jedi and spewing a stream of force flames from his palm.

Now the young man had to choices: Follow the Jedi Knight who he has seen before in battle, back at Ithor... or join the young girl that had her own plan.

Vexander pondered for a moment, she would need backup... the Army had to know what the Sith were up to in Togruta, and going in that direction would take her to a dangerous path... on the other hand; @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] was a Knight strong enough to handle himself, and his brutallity in battle was something that would make him a big threat against a Sith.

As part of the Army's recon unit and intel gathering, he knew where to go. Lightsaber on hand, he joined @[member="Coci Sinopi"] and disappeared on the streets as well.

Once that he managed to catch up with her in the front, the young man proceeded to talk to her directly "Well lady Sinopi... we are a big number to go around walking through the street. We need to split them up in small groups and target to different ships, bigger chances of success" Although he was talking to the girl, his senses were not fully focused on her, otherwise, he might trigger stronger and dangerous visions, instead he was survying the area ahead and was ready to deflect blaster bolts should they be intercepted. "Your thoughts?"

Blessed are the peacemakers
Tracyn put up his hand, erecting a very potent form of Tutaminis that he had trained for so long to utilized in combat. He turned the energy into an equally negative impacting force push, directed at Krag's chest. "You know what's funny, I don't usually tend to responding to these little...quips. But...I wasn't always a Jedi, and I'm very good at what I do, you ugly son of a queen."Tracyn said, the last of the flames dissipating from around his body. He spread his legs out, his body powerfully poised. From what he had heard and read about Krag, Krag was like Tracyn in a way. Krag almost provided a mirror for Tracyn, if Tracyn had given into his anger. Krag was big, and dumb. But powerful, and trained.

Tracyn was brutal in combat, but there was a certain fluid motion to it all, he always acted in a sort of sledgehammer manner, but whoever was using the sledgehammer was an artist. The dead bodies he left wherever he went into combat were a testament to his extreme gifts in the art of combat. Tracyn had to exploit Krag's obvious weakness, Tracyn was faster than him, by a longshot. And he had his armor, but as far as Krag went, he didn't know how resilient he was to much. But, crushgaunts could break in durasteel plates like paper mache, so he doubted that his skin could hold up to a vicious punch from a crushgaunt. Tracyn also had the advantage of mixed training, something that Krag may or may not have in his arsenal.

Kaine heard the calls of Disciple, and called off his soldiers, ordering them to redirect themselves back to the Subjugator to reinforce another city plagued by fighting. Kaine then proceeded to enter that thicket alone, his eyes slowly taking in the new appearance of the Sith Lord Disciple, as it had been quite a long time since they had met face to face. He distinctly remembered one of the first times they had actually met, during the coup that cemented Moridin as Sith Emperor of the fledgling Sith Empire. He did not fear Disciple, he feared no one really, but still he felt unsettled by Disciple's sudden and bizarre appearance on this world, which made him wary. Kaine passed the threshold into the circular thicket, and came to a complete stop as he stood before Disciple in gleaming black fighting armor covered by a heavy crimson cloak.

"I have come, Disciple. Now what do you want?"

@[member="Disciple"]

@[member="Kaine Zambrano"]

Behind Kaine, the woods groaned heavily as the ancient oaks were bent to the will of the solitary figure who'd claimed this place as his own, even if it was just for the time being. Tapping his staff off the ground, he eyed the man before him. Strange to think he was the new emperor.

How long would he last? A month? Three? A year if things went exceptionally well? He doubted any of that, really. The odds were hilariously low.

But it didn't matter, no one in rule stuck around lock by any stretch of time deemed worthy by Disciple.

"I want to know why I'm here."

Now that... was probably the last thing Kaine expected to hear.

Coci stopped at a corner of one of the buildings as Vexander moved up beside her. "Agree, we need to move out in strategic points, we must find out the vantage point to strike at the ships", she looked up, "You and I need to get up there and take a look", she said indicating to the roof. "From what I saw earlier, they are clustered, so we need to work out the most effective plan to disable as much as we can". She looked at him now, and wondered why be called her that, had he discovered something in her life she wanted left alone? But now is not the time for those questions. She could also sense in him, a discomfort when he is with her.

"We need to do this quickly, hit and run if you will. If we take to long they will be on us", she whispered. "How to get up there?", she looked back up the street for anything to show the way.

@[member="Kei Amadis"]

Flynn ran his hands through his hair as he sat on the bunk of his bed. Finally they had arrived and so out to investigate why the Sith had come to this planet. His hand ran down over his face and pulled his face in an expression of longing. He is very hungry and the bite for soup gnarling at his gut. He is trembling with the thought of it, Sith soup, although it leaves a bitter taste in his mouth, energizes him, the more of it the better. He had remained locked away in his quarters the whole trip, he did not wish to be around Kei in this time, as he would be dangerous to him as well. Flynn has no desire to partake of his fellow Army members, but when the hunger comes, everyone is in danger. His face and skin pale now, making his black eyes and hair as dark as night. The thrill of the hunt pumping in him.

He felt the ship land and he stood up, gathered his weapons and armour and dressed. He walked to the hangar, the man assigned to him waiting there by their speeders. He did not look at them or say a word, they already had their orders. He looked out and saw Kei's group moving out. And so, Flynn and his man would follow.

Quickly they had caught up and pulled alongside Kei and his men. Flynn did not acknowledge him yet, but his eyes pierced the way ahead. The force guiding him to the Sith, he could feel them, the air thick with the darkside and he smiled. Now he simply turned his head to Kei and nodded that he is ready ...

Sensing the arrival of her Ashborn Kara could not help but frown. He should be kept in stasis until I can sort him out she thought, but at present there was far too much going on to scold him and send him back to the ship. With her Shadow Guard in tow she made her way across her city, for it was owned by she who strode within it under the jurisdiction of the Empire. When a selection of men and women were brought forth for her inspection she waved a dismissive hand, they would do or they would die, if they outlived their usage then she had no issue ending them... Which was why she had refused Kaine when he asked for the children to be massacred instead. Send them to me she had told him, I will make them useful for you. And thus they stood here now, children broken away from parents. She could sense her Ashborn was discomforted by it, but she no longer cared; she had a task at hand, and now he had chosen to come upon the planet he too would carry out the wishes of the Emperor. Even now drop ships were sending off her younglings, away from the scene of the evacuation and to her personal training grounds.

As she strode across the city she was comm'd in about an assault on several of the settlements, and a glare appeared to her gaze. How dare someone come and attack a planet under her ruling. "Send half the Legion to fight them off, send the rest my way. It's time this evacuation was taken seriously." Taking a few more steps forth she was greeted by a small host of men, at the centre of which a young man stood. He seemed a little out of place, edgy in an unstable fashion. With a frown she glanced him over, then looked to the highest ranking guard. "Who is this?" she inquired, before the man responded, "Cassus, my Lady" he then leant in, whispering so as not to make a target out of the boy, "The Emperor's son, needed experience, my Lady." With a nod of her head she gestured for them all to follow, still measuring up Cassus. "Thyrian you will remain with myself and Skydd until I order otherwise. Should I tell you to leave, do so. I will not have you as a liability, nor will I consider you one until you prove yourself to be."

@[member='Thyrian Ashborn'] @[member='Kaine Zambrano'] @[member='Cassus']

Cassus was skittish; he had barely been out of the Cell when there had been a call to arms. His Father had instructed him to dress in clothes befitting the situation, handed him the same lightsaber he had used to try and strike down his maker, and shipped him off with a host of men. To keep you safe he had been told, but Cassus presumed otherwise. He does not want me to escape he realised, he does not want me to exact my revenge on the Jedi without him. The rage bubbled and boiled within him, but he knew that to release it amongst his Father's men would result in more Cell-time. Instead he harboured it, welcomed it, brooded upon it, ready to unleash it on the first Jedi he saw.

When they landed upon Togoria the young man, not even blooded in battle yet, glanced at the scene. "The Lady Vi'dreya is waiting, m'lord, best we don't keep her waiting." He hated how they were so full of titles, and it almost made him rip the tongue from the mouth of the commanding officer. He didn't, but the thought was enough to quell him for now. Every so often a twitch would make its way down his side, a byproduct of his initial mental instability, before they marched across the land with Cassus in tow. They were just doing the bidding of his Father, but the way they acted so mindlessly infuriated him.

It was not long before they were in the presence of a white-haired female, tiny in stature and weight. Who is this? he wondered, seeing her as little more than a child. But when she spoke, and the officer replied, he was surprised to find she was more than that. This is the Lady Vi'dreya? He almost scoffed aloud, but he kept his expression in tact and simply stared the little girl down. What is my Father thinking, keeping a child for a Sith Lord? The woman did not even acknowledge him beyond a few measured stares, instead turning her attention to a behemoth of a man. Could this day get any stranger? Together they walked across the city, his small host ants compared to the guard the woman had. It wasn't long before more men joined them, and Cassus wondered what was happening. Wasn't this supposed to be a simple evacuation? Or had he been lied to, and was there more than met the eye going on here?

Everyone got instructions and a plan, if I missed you pm me. Music Inspiration

Mission - Split the Sith forces, confuse the heck out of them.

@all AOL "Everyone keep mobile, don't get pinned down. They out number you at least ten to one. When it's too hairy get out and back to your ships." It was actually a lot more than ten to one, no point scaring them too much, time to do the impossible one more time. This was a universal order, broadcast over encrypted comms to each and every one of their comm links.

In the general mindset, he had to command a very scattered battlefield, with forward lines mixed already, the Sith probably had the same issue thankfully. From the reports coming in the population was moving, and they didn't seem happy about it. Thank the force the army of light and the rebels had come when they did.

@[member="Veino Garn "] @[member="Vulpesen"] @[member="Coci Sinopi"] @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] @[member="Vexander Graves"] "Disable those ships if you can. You have speed, you can pick your battles, and you have the local population to aid you, use the Gambit wildcards moving to your positions to break any weak spots, that's what they excel at. Disable those ships and get out." Kei said to his commanders over the encrypted comms, there was crackling static as the enemy tried to jam the comms but the wildcard's tech were on it.

"Sir! The enemy is mobilizing half a legion to meet the advance. More landing planetside." Damned it, that was fast

@[member="Kaine Zambrano"] @[member="Kära Vi'dreya"] @All Sith, Strategic mind to work, he was pouring over scattered reports from intel, from local unit commanders, from everyone present, "I want the Nikto in a fighting withdrawal from the South, lure them out as far as you can from the city. Draw their troops away from the ships, and the population centers, don't waste your lives, keep mobile and keep the pressure on." The nikto commanders, mercenaries used to raiding, hit and run, they'd be perfect to stir up trouble for the legions moving to engage.

@[member="Jedediah Bagely"] @[member="Yasuo"] "House rules company, Colonel Bagely, Yasuo, I want our heavy hitters to hit their east flank imbedded in cover, I want everything you have there, I want a hell of a noise soldiers, get as many of the locals to follow your signal as you can. Until your position is compromised." House rules company were heavily armored wildcards from Coruscant, used precisely for city fighting, and sniping, they could dig in a position and hold it well, their specialty and they were damned tough nuts to crack.

Combined arms, was the AoL and the Rebel's strength here. This was going to be one confusing battlefield, good, that was what he needed, the Sith hit on all sides before they knew what was going on, spread in all directions so he could breach, get in far enough and the hell out of here. Guerrilla warfare, something the rebels used to be specialists in, he might well need them here. "Any update on the rebels?" @[member="Delila Castillon"].

"We've got to move. Thyrsians and Echani to me...." @[member="Flynn Blackheart"] "Move before they land any more men...." Almost on the city and @[member="Kära Vi'dreya"]'s landing, Kei was approaching from the west side, their speeders roared closer, away from the main engagement, coming in fast, using a grand forest for cover. His approach unseen for now, as everyone else was making the noise.

"Light be with you all."
