COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice:
    • Durasteel Fists
    • Pistol if necessary
  • Combat Function:
    • Knowledgeable Navigator
Strengths:
  • I Can See For Miles: Navi's built in systems from being a Neurocogitator allows him to see deep into the galaxy. Using constellations in the sky, he is able to locate a plethora of different planets and systems just by viewing them. Advanced processors give him an expanded knowledge of the observable universe, giving him an atlas to everything that was, is, and will be.
  • ‘Cause I Remember Everything: Basically a bigger, augmented brain, Navi has increased storage banks that allow him to hold massive amounts of information. Entries from decades ago can be held with ease, allowing Navi to keep operating and recording for hundreds of years.
Weaknesses:
  • A Little Bit Off Today: Since Navi is no longer under the watchful eye of Greystone Mercantile, his programming has begun to act somewhat strange. He is plagued with visons of his past life, trying to piece it all together. Yet he is not familiar with who he once was or where he came from. So, he is left with his own confusing thoughts.
  • I Am Machine, I Never Sleep: Having a robotic body as its few ups and lots of downs. Scavenged together by various parts he could acquire, Navi operates the old, clunky machine that his glass jar rests on. They mechanics can be slow and finicky, especially for someone without prior operating experience.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The previous life of Navi has been long since forgotten over years of torture and reprogramming by Greystone Mercantile. For the bits and pieces of his memory that have been slowly appearing to him, Navi knows that he used to be a spacer that lived in the Outer Rim, sometime around mid 840s. He was affiliated with the ORC, working with them as a guide to the treacherous systems. Many of his notes from his travels would be used to help during the war. His cause of death is still unknown.

IMG_5725.jpg
Whoever kill him somehow preserved Navi’s brain, selling it off to the highest bidder to be experimented on. This led him to ending up in the hands of Greystone, being turned into a Neurocogitator. Many electronics and programming went into his brain, allowing his processors to hold vast amounts of navigational information. He was designed to be the ultimate navigational tool. Capable of using very simply Instinctive Astrogation, along with memorizing Star charts from the entire galaxy.

It wouldn’t be long though before his purpose had been served. He was getting old, and it was time to bring in new, fresh brains that would become even better than he was. Sold in an auction to the highest bidder, the brain simply stayed in drone state, ready to complete the same task for his new master.

This, however, was not the case. The highest bidder happened to be a woman by the name of Manami Farlander, a kind spacer from the Tingel Arm. She was a starship engineer, owning and operating her own shop out on the edge of the galaxy. Travellers that were heading out to the Cosm's Well could stop at Manami's corvette Luna's Eclipse to get repairs and purchase and last-minute supplies. Bringing the jarred brain back to her ship, she hooked it up to a large computer, trying to bring it back to life. After many long nights trying to help the brain break free from its programming, it finally showed a flicker of personality. Over the next few weeks, the brain began to speak, developing its own life, remembering some visions of his past. Along with all of this, the brain gave itself a name: Navi.

Manami went on to help Navi become a person again, firstly by building him a suit to walk around on. Then alongside of her husband and two children, Navi went on to be raised as a member of the family. He worked alongside them, learning the ins and outs of the business. Spacers from all reaches of the galaxy would stop at the corvette. This gave Navi a chance to learn how to be a normal person again. While here, he began to grow his own sense of belonging and purpose. Deep in his memory was a sense of adventure. No, not a sense. A craving. An internal desire. It would something that he could not deny. Navi figured it was a part of his past life somehow finding its way to resurface.

All of this longing for exploration would lead him to learn about Baobab Astrography. They were a small-scale company that focused on exploring uncharted astronomical locations. Right up Navi's alley. Saying his temporary goodbye to Manami and her family, Navi went on to become a navigational assistant for a few small-time expeditions for the company. It was more than just dipping his Durasteel toes in the water. He was straight jumping into the ocean. The vast ocean of space that was. Black holes, newborn stars, systems and species that no one had ever seen before. Navi loved every second of it. He felt as if he was making a difference in the galaxy by charting all of these.

On one of his most recent expeditions, Navi was among the crew that helped discover Mezokara. This beautiful planet was unlike anything the brain had yet seen. For this very reason, he elected to return to the planet once the journey had concluded. There was a strange calling that he had felt to the watery moon. Something that he could not explain. This is the exact reason he needed to do more studies. After first returning to Luna's Eclipse to visit Manami and her family, Navi went and settled down at a small research station on Mezokara. It had been a few months since the expedition, so others had moved to the moon as well. Making friends with his new neighbors, Navi slowly started to explore the moon and all of its wonders. Now he spends most of his days charting down his discoveries and reviewing past flight logs of Baobab adventures, learning more about the galaxies each day.

[867ABY to Present - Okkeus Dainlei]
Needing some fresh air from the madness that was happening on Coruscant, the Jedi Knight Okkeus Dainlei Okkeus Dainlei decided to take a trip to the Seven Courners district of Denon. Traveling to the shadiest depths of the city, and with some help from his Black Tier pass, the man was able to access one of the largest black markets in the core regions.

Mainly searching for illegal parts for his X-Wing, the man ended up stumbling across this book at a small market stand. Somehow, this book had ended up in merchant's possession. While the merchant didn't know the full value of the book, the Knight sure did. Around 150 credits later, Okkeus was the new owner of the book, ready to add his own chapter to the stories it held.

The man's lack-of-free time led to the book sitting aboard the Blue Lightning for a small period. The need for it arose though when attacks from the Maw become more and more frequent. He remembered a hyperlane that was described in the book by (Name Here). The importance of this was the fact that it led the Maw almost directly on the doorstep of Coruscant.

Knowing that he had a chance to stop an attack from happening, the Knight sent a message to Auteme to alert the council. Unfortunately, it was too late. The book stayed on the Blue Lightning while an attack happened on the Jedi Temple. Afterwards when the man was locked up due to suspicion of aiding the enemy, he overheard word that all of the files from the Jedi Temple had been released to the public. Once free from his interrogations, he plans on adding some of the leaked info into the book, preserving it for generations to come.

This Is going to take a while, so bear with me.

Duneside Villa

IMG_5714.jpg
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
IMG_5716.jpg

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Duneside Villa
  • Classification: Villa
  • Location: Tatooine, alongside the Western Dune Sea
  • Affiliation:
  • Accessibility:
    • Fairly isolated from the rest of Tatooine, mainly the nearby Mos Eisley. Sitting alongside the Western Dune Sea, it is a few hour ride by speeder, or a medium-length flight by starship. Once at the Villa, the buildings are exposed. Simple password locks keep the doors sealed. When dust storms blow through the area, blast doors will seal the hangars and open living space. As a last hope effort, anti-starships cannons will raise from the ground to shoot down any attacking craft. The Villa is also only accessible to Okkeus, along with his personal droids and any friends who may be stopping by.
  • Description:
    • The Duneside Villa is a private residence of Okkeus. It is a fairly large-sized home, boasting multiple rooms, storage bays, a small moisture farm, and a trio of hangars. It is a part time home for the man, usually whenever he is spending a lot of time in the Outer Rim.

POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Hangars: One large-sized and two medium-sized hangars surround the Villa, forming an outer ring of the home. The large hangar sits in the middle of the trio, having a diameter of 150 meters. The two medium hangars fall on either side of the larger bay, each having a diameter of 75 meters. Each hangar is deep enough to comfortably fit each ship. All hangars are connected by below ground tunnels, allowing for easy travel between the bays and into the villa itself. In the event of a strong dust storm, or an aerial attack, blast doors will seal the hangar bays and provide protection. Each hangar has doors that shut off access between the tunnels, allowing each one of them to be sealed off if needed as well.
  • Moisture Farm: A plethora of moisture vaporators spring out from the home in the form of a web. These machines collect enough water so that Okkeus and whoever is staying at the Villa never have to worry about being thirsty. A large storage tank sits below the home, holding upwards of 50 gallons of water. When no one is staying for extended periods of time, the excess water is donated to his neighbors or to anyone nearby that may be struggling. The whole system is run from within the Villa, along with three small control huts spread across the web.
  • Storage Bay: Along with the hangar bays, there is an additional storage bay that sits opposite of the Villa. This underground facility is used to store many different things, from speeder bikes, extra rations, spare starship parts, weaponry, etc. This area is mainly used for long-term storage. Essentially an underground "junk-drawer."
  • Villa: The main feature of the whole lot. The Villa is divided into two sections: above ground and below ground. The below ground section makes up the majority of the home, allowing the coolness of the ground to help keep the place at a moderate temperature. Here there are multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a medbay. Above ground there is a larger gathering space, mainly for meetings and parties. There are also two more bedrooms, a bathroom, and a small kitchen.
IMG_5715.jpg

SECURITY - High
The villa is protected quite well for it being a part-time home. The main defense of it is the five VMAT-551 Predator Launch Platforms encircling the main area. Each of these are used to fend off an attacking force, whether it be pirates, crime lords, or Sith. The platforms are all hidden underground, only rising out from the sand if a threat has been identified. Alarm sensors and systems have been set up around the entire perimeter. They are able to relay if it is a simple womp rat, or a full-blown assault of Tusken Raiders. These sensors are all connected to cameras, both pointed outward from the facility, and upward towards the sky, alerting of any unwanted ships. The warning system sends messages directly to Okkeus through his robotic arm. Messages can also be directed to the Blue Lightning.

In the event of an attack, all three of the hangar bays have blaster doors that will slide shut, sealing off whatever is inside from outside attack. While not able to withstand a massive orbital bombardment, they are able to take quite the beating of various weaponry. If the enemy were to make their way inside of the hangar bays, the tunnels connecting each of them can be sealed off as well, potentially trapping them inside. The below ground section of the Villa also has a blast door that can shut, mainly sealing off the open-air section. The above ground section of the Villa has reinforced doors and windows that can seal off attackers. If the enemy were to take control of the upper section, the stairs and elevators to the lower level can be sealed, similar to the hangar bays.

At the edges of the moisture vaporators is a simple fence. While it is able to withstand a fair amount of force, it is more so to show the property lines instead of keeping full armies out.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Sometime around 880ABY, Okkeus Dainlei found himself in a high-stakes Sabaac game down in the depths of District 11. It was only him and one other player left, and it was time to raise. In a last-ditch effort to win it big, the man bet his Corvette Gypsy Starlight, his personal hangar bay on The Caravan, and fifty thousand credits. A pretty hefty wager. His opponent matched with his homestead on Tatooine, the Duneside Villa. One round later and the Jedi found himself in possession of a set of keys, and a new part-time home. Flying out to collect his winnings, Okkeus learned that the property was originally constructed as a vacation home but was forced to adopt some military-grade technology with the threat of war between the Confederacy and the Mandalorians. Not wanting the war to reach his home and be left unprotected, the owner installed massive blast doors to seal off the premises, along with adding five missile platforms in order to fend off attackers. Happily collecting his keys and bidding his opponent farewell, Okkeus began to move into his new house.

The house sat mostly empty from mid 880s to mid 890s. Okkeus was busy fighting the war between the Alliance and the Maw, so there was little time for relaxation in the Outer Rim. Instead, the Villa became a place for him to store his various starships and vehicles when they were not needed. Yet this whole time the protection systems stayed activated. When the man was halfway across the galaxy, the home was even able to defend itself from a pirate attack. By the time they had returned for revenge, Okkeus was there to fend them off. The fight was short, but the message was clear.

Now with the war over and Okkeus growing in age, the Villa has seen more company. Though he does not have a place that he fully calls "home" besides the Blue Lightning, the Villa would be the closest thing to it. Now he uses it to rest after long journeys exploring the depths of the Outer Rim. Almost like a waypoint of sorts. Quite of a few of his droids are either part time or full residence of the Villa, making sure everything is running smoothly. Friends are also invited over when they are in the area, giving them a chance to step out of the sun. The location is also home to a few creatures as well, notably an abandoned Cu-pa and a small family of Scurrier. They roam around the outskirts of the home as they please, yet still confined by the web's outer fence.

    • Basic (Fully Spoken and Comprehensible)
    • Binary (Somewhat Comprehensible)
    • Huttese (Mostly Spoken and Comprehensible)
    • Pyke (Mostly Comprehensible)
  • Personality: Short-tempered and quick to violence, Griff is a man that always gets what he wants. And if not, he makes it his purpose to do so. Raised into the family business, Griff has worked hard to continue the legacy. This will be done by any means necessary, even if that means abusing his workers, lying to government officers, and disposing of anybody that gets in his way.

IMG_6098.jpg

COMBAT INFORMATION
Strengths:
  • What Are You Looking At, Butthead?: Intimidating and controlling, Griff uses his powerful stature to take advantage of those around him. Though he lacks in brain power, he makes up for it is straight muscle power. Those who try and oppose Griff can usually be found on the other end of his fist. The man is also quick to anger, which makes those unfortunate few against him in for a load of trouble.
Weaknesses:
  • Well, Looky What We Have Here: Greed has devoured the Axchill family for years, especially within Griff. Anything that he lays his eyes on he wants. And he will stop at nothing to possess it, even if that means hurting himself or those around him. Just for the claim to wealth and fame. This had led to Griff also making poor gambling decisions in the past.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Born on Mon Gazza, Griff Axchill was raised into the family business of mining. His family had been mining for precious metals and resources for five generations now, and Griff would be the start of the sixth. Much of his youth would be spent traveling between the various operations that were overseen by his father. Griff learned early on that since they were the ones in charge of the business, everyone else that worked below them does not need to be shown respect. Hundreds of slave miners were working for the Axchills, all under their mercy. Any feelings of sympathy that Griff had growing up for these people was scorned out of him by his father. They were above everyone else. That was it and that was all.

Taking this mindset into his teen years, Griff started to gain more responsibility within the company. It was not long before he started to manage small patches of asteroids that were being mined. Profits rolled in quick and easily, which only inspired his quest for control. After his first successful mining operation was complete, Griff's father decided to take his son on a bonding trip to Tatooine. There Griff met some of his father's work friends, as well as being introduced to his new favorite hobby: Jawa Tossing. It was not long before he became a pro at the activity, earning quite a bit of money through gambling.

Years would pass as Griff kept growing the family business. The man took over the operations on his home planet as his father and mother went to expand to other areas of the Outer Rim.
