Another casualty of the Kuati Rebellion, the Convor-Class corvette was a small capital ship designed to aid the Jedi in their fight against the Sith and later the Brotherhood of the Maw. Heavily armed with a versatile weapons complement, the Convor slid easily into Alliance fleet formations as an anti-starfighter vessel. Despite its small size they could also slug it out with slightly larger vessels if given the element of surprise due to its heavy turbolasers, concussion missiles, and proton torpedo bays all built on retractable mounts and concealed beneath the armor plating of the Convor itself. When deployed, these weapons could track fast-moving targets on their gimbaled mounts. Convor-Class corvettes could also function as home bases for elite operative teams, marine platoons, or Jedi scout teams. The Convor did not need a full crew to function however due to many advances in automation with the vessel needing as few as three to five individuals to perform. A small through-deck launch bay concealed by retractable layers of armor plating could hold a pair of scout or strike fighters. The bay most often held a pair of T-65XN "Wolf-X" starfighters but when in service to the Jedi could hold the small nimble fighters they often flew into battle. Able to land comfortably on most landing pads and hangars across the Galaxy, the small space could be fully dedicated to the maintenance and upkeep of its scout fighters rather than shuttlecraft. Quick and nimble, the Convor-Class corvette served its strike forces and Jedi teams well but would not see service until sometime after the battle to retake Empress Teta from the Brotherhood of the Maw. It would see heavier use in Jedi and Black-Ops operations against the Empire in the days leading up to the inevitable conflict.
