PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
  • Vast and expansive troop/vehicle holding bays allows this vessel alone to carry three divisions of SLDF troopers, and even more if it's fitted for carrying strictly battle droids. This allows for each individual vessel to carry in essence an entire army into battle. This is even more effective at doing so if allowed to land on the surface of planets, which it most certainly can, even on water worlds.
  • Full medical bays capable of treating and otherwise being able to handle whatever injuries any of the crew/passengers might have occur while on missions. This includes a variety of burns, amputations, shrapnel and other wounds.
  • Fire suppression systems across the entirety of the vessel allowing for fires to be handled safely and remotely, without risking naval crews.
Remote Weapon Control Stations offering the crew the ability to be able to centralize fire control systems and have back-up stations in case those fail.
  • Atin Class Isotope-5A Reactors to power all weapons, shields, and other systems aboard the vessel offering plenty of power to supply the ship's various power needs.
  • Luft Class Life Support Systems offers the best in class atmospheric management system for the vessel, making it able to support and house various species of all different kinds without needing to utilize environmental suits.
  • Massive loading and unloading ramps along with various lifts and deployment bays allow for this ship once landed to disembark its forces quite rapidly. Whether Airborne troopers jumping out in atmosphere, Air Assault troops deploying their various ships to secure beachheads, or rolling out tanks and heavy armor to begin the main assault. This includes a variety of fighters/bombers/support craft that are kept in storage bays which must be unloaded to get them ready for combat.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Paladin Turbolasers and Deimos Laser Cannons work as a fighter/capital ship deterrent, and while not overwhelming or even really aggressive such as other vessels of her class, this allows her to defend herself should she have to, for a time.
  • MLMS system allows for this vessel to launch missile strikes in support of deployed ground forces, both while underway, and landed, turning her into a massive land battery for missiles.
  • Hyperdrive is top of the line, a 0.5 class alongside other vessels of the SLDF Expeditionary Forces. This allows this ship to respond quickly to where the Expeditionary forces are needed, making for an excellent response transport.
  • Eagle Eye Targeting Systems allow for this ship to use the smaller amount of guns more effectively to defend herself against a variety of threats. The increased accuracy and responsiveness of the turrets make these weapons threats against most if not all targets when used properly.
  • Svalinn Class Shields offer good protection from a variety of threats in a smaller package than standard capital class vessel shielding. This allows for the generator to be placed inside the hull in a spot that is difficult to locate without scanning the hull. This space saving measure allows for even more forces to be brought aboard.
  • Main space saving measure is using Phrik-A armor plating, allowing for armor to be thinner in bulkheads, allowing for increased strength with smaller and thinner armor plates. This space saving measure means this vessel can bring more troops to the fight with the same amount of protection as a standard Star Destroyer.
STRENGTHS
  • Massive hold and troop capacity: This ship has a huge amount of capacity for both passengers, but also materials and vehicles necessary to conduct war. This allows each of these vessels when making land fall, to be the centerpiece of any centralized command, or even allow armies to coordinate themselves to through the vessel, using the massive amounts of manpower and material to fight through and overwhelm defenders with relative fewer ships needed.
  • Massive Starfighter bays: This ship carries a lot of fighters and small craft that are able to be deployed at a moment's notice. This allows this vessel to use its fighters as a screening force, buying it the necessary time it needs to get its payload to the ground. On top of the already impressive amount of fighters it fields in its ready hangars, there are more of them in storage aboard the vessel, stowed in space saving compartments to be able to bring all of the support forces and vehicles necessary for each division to operate in any environment.
  • Fast Hyperdrive: This ship has a 0.5 class hyperdrive, making it one of the fastest vessels out there in hyperspace. This is extremely important when creating a vessel that may have to respond to active threats jumps away, as each minute is precious when waiting for reinforcements. And any time you can save by getting the reinforcements or response there, is lives saved and battles won.
WEAKNESSES
  • Severely undergunned: This ship is not properly outfitted with all of the offensive capabilities a vessel her size needs to win most fights. Especially when it comes to Turbolasers. This means that while she's good as a support vessel with her carrier capacity, she is terrible as a brawling vessel, and would be torn asunder if going against an equal tonnage opponent that's built for ship of the line combat.
  • Can't deploy spare star fighters: This ship needs to land to unload and deploy its remaining star fighter reserves. This is due to the way these vehicles are packed away that make them essentially inaccessible except for maintenance and repairs. This means that she can't deploy all of the rest of the forces aboard the vessel in space if she takes catastrophic damage, and needs to be abandoned.
  • Only as fast as the fleet: So while this ship has a 0.5 Class hyperdrive there is a singular issue that stands out with this vessel. And that's in order to use this to its full potential, she needs to have ships accompany her. Otherwise she'll jump into hostile space and be torn to pieces because she's not a battleship, she's a transport. And while not helpless, she can't take on vessels of similar sizes built for front line combat without some serious creativity of the command staff and crew.
DESCRIPTION
One of the most basic issues that comes with managing a large army is supply and logistics. The ability to carry and transport soldiers, materials, and other items to wherever the army is needed, whenever the call arrives. This vessel is purpose built to meet this tasking whenever called, with the ability to house all of the soldiers, materials, and vehicles of several divisions, allowing for a single vessel to bring a considerable amount of ground forces or logistical supply to an area to support combat operations. And this ship, is fast in hyperspace, allowing it to travel whatever location it needs to with whatever speed is available. This means more often than not, this ship will not be slowing your fleet down in hyperspace, but rather, it'll be waiting on your other vessels to keep up and keep it guarded. This makes this vessel not only spacious and efficient with its use of cargo space and capacity to bring stuff, but also fast and effective at getting your stuff there ASAP.

One of the major points of this vessel is its ridiculous star fighter/small craft carrying capacity. This has room for 16 separate squadrons in the ready hangar with even more of them being stored internally for when the vessel makes planet fall or begins unloading its cargo. And being able to directly land to unload its cargo, or otherwise dock with massive stations to do the same makes this vessel expedient in the process of getting as many forces deployed quickly and effectively. And once on the ground each vessel has the capacity and capabilities to act as a command center for these armies, allowing their forces to go into battle immediately. So next time your guys/gals/droids are looking to hitch a ride dirt side, save yourself some time and get a ride on an Odin. You won't regret it.

The Monster The Monster , another pretty solid looking sub!
  • Armament: Low
    • 48 Paladin Turbolasers
    • MLMS Multi-Tube Launchers
    • 100 Deimos Laser Cannons
  • Defenses: Average
    • Svalinn Class Shield Generator
    • Phrik-A laced Hull Armor Plating
    • FM-001/FM-002 Laminates

Most of these links look broken to me here. You may want to double check them.

Hangar Allocations:
Standard / Air Assault/Airborne Configuration

  • Starfighters: 6 squadrons (F-22 Star Raptor) / 8 squadrons
  • Bombers: 5 squadrons (B-1 Bone) / 1 squadron
  • Support Craft: 5 squadrons (2 Squadrons of AT-1s : 3 Squadrons of AT-2s) / 7 squadrons ( 2 AT-1s : 5 AT-2s)

As with your other submission, could you please combine the bombers back into the starfighter section?

Otherwise, I think it's ready for approval!

Gir Quee Gir Quee So I fixed the links rq, and condensed the starfighters / bombers section. One quick change as I didn't think to put it in before just now, I added a cargo capacity section just to quantify that this is a transport style vessel intended for the specific use as a transport/support vessel. My apologies for that as I had thought to add that in at some point as it slipped my mind.
