  • Material: Utilizes an Isotope-5A core laced with Ionite-A to create a source of power as the Ionite reacts to the Isotope-5. Micro-magnets keep field contained inside a Phrik-A housing. Housing is then shielded by FM-001, FM-002 and Duraplast-E.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Bridges the gap in Isotope-5A Reactor technology from the Micro-Reactor to the reactor system. This allows for much increased power generation over the standard Micro-Reactor, giving techs and engineers the ability to power even greater vehicles. This makes power generation for ships, walkers, and even other vehicles a reality as you don't require the space needed for a Zeus Reactor System.
  • Multiple reactors can be installed on ships of various sizes allowing for a linear increase in power generation aboard a vessel as each reactor is activated.
  • Replicates the sturdy construction of Micro Isotope-5A Reactors with FM-001 and FM-002 laminates and a Phrik-A casing.
STRENGTHS
  • Bigger Reactor, more power: This reactor is much more able to produce energy than the standard Micro Reactors utilizing Isotope-5A. This allows for greater power generation, and the ability to get each reactor to increase or decrease its power generation, allowing for a more adaptable product. On top of that, this reactor is no where near as massive as the Zeus Reactor system, meaning it is a fair compromise to both projects.
WEAKNESSES
  • Not as efficient: This reactor due to it being a compromise between both the Micro Reactor and the Reactor system, is no where near as efficient as its counter parts. This means that where a micro-reactor could go a life time on a predetermined amount of Isotope-5A, this reactor cannot. Instead it will consume fuel more akin to a standard hypermatter/fusion reactor, making it not near as long lasting or efficient as either choice outside of it.
DESCRIPTION
With Freebirds Industries moving into the technical field of creating both combat and civilian walkers, a new problem arose for their engineers. Their Micro Isotope-5A Reactors were simply not powerful enough to generate the necessary energy for such walkers. And the Zeus Reactor systems were far too massive. So a compromise was made, creating a newer and more power Isotope-5A reactor, intended for vehicle and could even be scaled up for capital ship use. This would allow the engineers to create a properly sized reactor able to meet each projects power needs, and for capital vessels they could install multiple reactors, increasing the power output even more. However unlike the Zeus system which increased the power exponentially, these reactors only added a linear increase to power generation, to make them more manageable and safe. This would allow for the techs working on Project Kratos to finally get a powerful enough reactor to take their test bed off of tethered power, and let it go out on its own.
