The Obsidian Spire stood tall and proud on Jutrand. The building serves as the home for Gerwald Lechner and his mate

In the center of the lobby a massive, portable, smokeless fire pit acted as more than a centerpiece to tie the room together. A massive beast, large enough to feed an entire village, turned slowly on the spit as the flames licked and danced about the prepared carcass. Those of his guests would eat well tonight. Barrels filled with mead were set throughout the room. They would serve the patrons well into the night to wash down whatever they ate and ensure that those who wished to imbibe would be well drunk by the end of the evening.
Around the perimeter, set back a safe distance from the fire, were tables set as though the feast was made for kings. Gerwald Lechner knew how to host when it suited him, and this evening it suited his purposes well. The festivities of the evening were in full swing. Gerwald ensured that each guest was greeted and felt as though they belonged under the roof. Where others had played into the sectarianism which had plagued the Order at one point, the Dread Wolf had always believed in something larger that could only be brought about by an Order with a singular focus.
Tonight could prove it was possible.
The invitations had gone out weeks in advance with a name and instructions to bring a gift for the Sith listed on the invitation. Gerwald was curious to see what would happen, the gifts which would be given, and the creativity of those in attendance. The Dread Wolf lurked about the room as the guests enjoyed themselves, and the music played. There was no agenda for the night, no organized games to play, and the usual pomp and circumstance of posture and position were gone. For one night, all were on equal footing.
Gerwald left a small kiss on the cheek of his mate before wandering off to find the name which had been held back for himself. The gift was in a box, metallic, locked with a simple force lock that the young cathar would be able to handle easily. The Wolf was not much of a gift wrapper, so he did something a little more clever.
When

“I hope this gift will help you during your time among the Order.”
