STRENGTHS
  • Jack of all trades: The MIN Gundark maintains a rather impressive array of different weapon systems, such as laser cannons, turbolasers, ion cannons, missile launchers, a tractor beam system and even a minelayer system
  • Shielded to the extreme: In addition to its standard array of deflector shields, the Gundark possesses a defensive system rarely, if ever, seen on a starship: a modified planetary defense system. This gives the ship extremely powerful shielding
  • Heavily armored: The Gundark benefits from the addition of extra interior and exterior armor plating, greatly increasing its durability and survivability
  • Ramming speed: Because it is so heavily armored and shielded, and thanks to the fact that it is built around an NZ Breacher Type-1/hull structure, the Gundark is capable of ramming ships both smaller and larger than itself without taking crippling damage from doing so
  • Ion sniper: The installation of a V-150 Planet Defender allows the Gundark to engage and disable ships at long distance, even ships that are over twice its size
  • Atmospheric: The Gundark is capable of maneuvering within a planet's atmosphere and landing on a planet's surface without the use of specialized equipment
  • Automated: Much of the ship is heavily automated, allowing the vessel to operate with a much reduced crew, saving space for additional troops, vehicles and supplies
WEAKNESSES
  • Master of none: Though it is rather versatile, the MIN Gundark does not particularly excel in any given role, leaving it at a disadvantage when facing more specialized enemy ships
  • Sluggish: The addition of additional armor plating and shielding has left the Gundark quite slow, unable to catch up to faster moving vessles without the use of its tractor beam or ion cannons
  • Unmaneuverable: The Gundark is similarly unmaneuverable, rendering it incapable of completing complex maneuvers during the heat of battle. This forces the Gundark to rely on its exceptional armor and shielding to survive engagements
  • Bruiser: As impressive and varied as its armament is, the Gundark is actually more geared toward engaging capital ships and can struggle to take out enemy starfighters
  • Limited capacity: Though the Gundark's use of heavy automation allows the vessel to carry a higher than normal volume of troops, it is still only capable of holding a maximum of two starfighter squadrons
  • Expensive: The Gundark was so expensive to create that the design is essentially impossible to manufacture in anything other than a single prototype without dramatic changes
  • Automated: Since much of the ship is heavily automated, this leaves the ship with a much smaller than using crew, leaving it vulnerable to boarding actions and making it more difficult to respond to internal malfunctions and emergencies
DESCRIPTION

Although the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant is known for creating a number of unconventional yet effective designs, not every project the the Imperial Remnant embarks on is destined for success. This is especially true of the so called Gundark-class Armored Cruiser.

Designed around an NZ Breacher Type-1/A hull structure, this highly experimental ship was created using parts of an Imperial Escort Carrier, an Immobilizer 418 cruiser and a Gladiator-class Star Destroyer. Though the vessel does indeed contain a single Gravity Well Projector, the main reason for the creation of the ship was to experiment with the viability of utilizing different types of equipment within empty Gravity Well Projector spheres. For example, the Gundark contains a V-150 Planet Defender, a Q7 Tractor Beam Projector and even a modified Nyalsan II Planetary Shield within its three remaining spheres.

This unusual loadout of equipment. combined with the numerous other systems installed aboard the ship, gives the Gundark an exceptional amount of versatility and makes the ship extremely difficult to destroy. For long range engagements, the Gundark is capable of disabling Star Destroyer sized vessels with its V-150 Planet Defender, while its complement of AFT-PIC.445 Quad Plasma Cannon Turrets, NZ HP1 Turbolaser Cannons and NZ IPC-1 Ion Pulse Cannons allows the ship to effectively attack targets at mid to close range. The ship is so heavily armored and shielded that it can even ram vessels far larger in size without receiving catastrophic damage in return. A Minelayer System and a number of NZ LC-2A Laser Cannons round out the vessel's versatile armament.

Sadly, the Gundark-class Armored Cruiser was considered a failure by the Imperial Remnant for a number of different reasons. Though the ship can fulfill a wide variety of different battlefield roles simultaneously, it is unable to do so as well as specialized or dedicated ships are. In addition, the vessel is prohibitively expensive to manufacture: its Nyalsan II Planetary Shield alone costs nearly as much as a single Star Destroyer, making mass production essentially impossible. At the moment, the Gundark exists solely as a single prototype in use with Salvage Team Six. That being said, though the ship is considered a failure in its current iteration, feasibility tests continue to be run by the Imperial Remnant, with a focus on converting the design to a primarily ion weapon based platform.

  • Sniper: The Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier is designed to engage enemy vessels at long ranges, enabling the ship to avoid incoming enemy fire or simply outrange its opponent's weapons
  • Disabler: The 2 V-150 Planet Defenders installed within the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier's forward facing Gravity Well Projector spheres are highly effective against enemy shields and electronic systems, allowing the vessel to potentially disable ships within mere seconds
  • Do not pass go: The installation of 2 Gravity Well Projectors aboard the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier allows the vessel to prevent enemy fleets from fleeing into hyperspace, making the ship a vitally important piece of equipment
  • Easier to manufacture: The removal of the modified planetary defense shield from the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier has made it much cheaper and easier to produce, allowing it to be manufactured in far greater numbers
  • Anti-fighter: Unlike its predecessor, the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier is better equipped to handle enemy starfighters thanks to its AFT-14.4000B FLAK Turrets
  • Automated: Much of the ship is heavily automated, allowing the vessel to operate with a much reduced crew, saving space for additional troops, vehicles and supplies
WEAKNESSES
  • Support ship: Though the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier is geared toward engaging enemy capital ships, it is not necessarily designed to destroy them, and must rely on other friendly units to finish off vessels it had stunned with its Ion Cannons
  • Sluggish: Much like its predecessor, the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier is similarly slow moving and unmaneuverable, forcing it to rely on its heavy armor to survive incoming attacks
  • Limited capacity: Though the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier's use of heavy automation allows the vessel to carry a higher than normal volume of troops, it is still only capable of holding a maximum of two starfighter squadrons
  • Costly: While it is far more economical to manufacture than its predecessor, the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier is still rather expensive and time consuming to produce overall
  • Automated: Since much of the ship is heavily automated, this leaves the ship with a much smaller than usual crew, leaving it vulnerable to boarding actions and making it more difficult to respond to internal malfunctions and emergencies
DESCRIPTION

Indirectly inspired by the Galactic Empire's Exactor-class Cruiser, the Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carrier is the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant's response to the failure of the Gundark-class Armored Cruiser program. Though many of the vessel's design elements have remained unchanged, the ship is different enough to allow it be produced in far greater numbers that the Gundark-class Armored Cruiser could ever be.

One of the most important changes to the ship involved the removal of the Gundark's Nyalsan II Planetary Shield and Q7 Tractor Beam Projector, which were replaced by an additional Gravity Well Projector and V-150 Planet Defender respectively. This made the ship far less costly to manufacture while simultaneously increasing its ability to disable enemy vessels and prevent them from fleeing into hyperspace.

The ship's NZ Breacher Type-1/A hull structure was also removed, making it even less expensive at the cost of it losing its ramming abilities, and its AFT-PIC.445 Quad Plasma Cannon Turrets and NZ HP1 Turbolaser Cannons were replaced with AFT-14.4000B FLAK Turrets and NZ HKAC/800 Artillery Cannons. The rest of the ship was more or less left intact, leaving anyone operating the vessel with a highly capable and potent Ion Cannon boat that can also force enemy fleets to stay in the fight, regardless or whether or not they might want to.

  • Sniper: The SPHA-T Corvette is designed to engage enemy capital ships at long range, enabling the vessel to avoid incoming enemy fire or simply outrange its opponent's weapons
  • Destructive: The SPHA-T's Heavy Turbolaser acts more like a Proton Beam Cannon than it does a traditional turbolaser, giving the weapon an immense amount of destructive potential
  • Small: The SPHA-T is a relatively small target overall, making the vessel much more difficult to hit especially at longer ranges
  • Accurate: Since it fires what is essentially a concentrated beam of energy, the SPHA-T Corvette's Heavy Turbolaser is surprisingly accurate
WEAKNESSES
  • Sniper: Though it is armed with a modest complement of laser cannons and turbolasers, the SPHA-T Corvette should not attempt to engage enemy targets at mid to close range
  • Clunky: Aiming the SPHA-T's Heavy Turbolaser can be quite difficult, as it requires the entire ship to reposition itself in order to properly aim the weapon
  • Cone of fire: Because of the way that the SPHA-T Corvette is constructed, it has a minimal range that targets must be away from it. Otherwise, it is unable to physically hit those targets with its Heavy Turbolaser
  • No support: The SPHA-T does not carry any starfighter support, and must rely on other ships to keep it safe from close range attack
DESCRIPTION

Indirectly inspired by the Galactic Empire's Exactor-class Cruiser, the SPHA-T Corvette was designed to give the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant the ability to engage enemy capital ships at long range, without having to resort to swarms of starfighters or close range engagements. Based on a Clone Wars era design, the SPHA-T Corvette contains a highly unusual Heavy Turbolaser system rarely, if ever, found on a vessel of its size.

Though officially labeled as a "Turbolaser", the SPHA-T Heavy Turbolaser acts more like a Proton Beam Cannon than it does a traditional turbolaser, giving the SPHA-T Corvette the ability to damage even Star Destroyer sized ships from great distances. The weapon's long range, coupled with the SPHA-T Corvette's small size, makes the ship a highly dangerous foe for enemy capital ships to engage in combat.

Of course, due to the highly specialized nature of the SPHA-T Corvette, the vessel is nearly useless against starfighters and smaller sized capital ships, as the way it is constructed makes hitting smaller targets nearly impossible since the entire ship needs to be moved to aim the Heavy Turbolaser and the weapon itself has a rather limited cone of fire. The SPHA-T Corvette can be a powerful asset for any fleet, but only if it is used correctly and properly supported.

WEAKNESSES
  • Pocket Star Destroyer: Though even more heavily armed and armored than its baseline model, the N&Z Umbrella Corporation Production Model of the Impressor-class Acclamator is still seriously outgunned by most Star Destroyer sized vessels
  • Limited space: Even in its updated form, the Impressor-class Acclamator sacrifices most of its cargo and troop carrying capability for increased weaponry and armor
  • Small hangars: The Impressor-class Acclamator holds a paltry 24 starsfighters in its hangar bay, forcing it to rely on dedicated carriers for starfighter support
  • Specialized: Even more so than its predecessor, the Impressor-class Acclamator is highly specialized for ship to ship combat, severely reducing its overall versatility
  • Automated: Since much of the Impressor-class Acclamator is heavily automated, it carries a much smaller than usual crew, making responding to onboard emergencies or boarding parties far more difficult
DESCRIPTION

While the baseline variant of the Impressor-class Acclamator proved to be an effective counter to enemy capital ships, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant believed that they could further improve upon the original design, using technology sourced from the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, First United Astral Engineering and the Dornean Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate.

To make the ship even more effective in combat, its original weapons were replaced with N&Z Umbrella Corporation examples, such as NZ HP1 Turbolaser Cannons, NZ HP2 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons, NZ IPC-1 Ion Pulse Cannons and even NZ IEPC.4700 Ionized Electromagnetic Plasma Cannons. Combined with a variety of new defensive features and software updates, the N&Z Umbrella Corporation Production Model of the Impressor-class Acclamator proved to be even more powerful than its predecessor ever could be.

Of course, even with its new upgrades, the new model of ship inherited many of the design flaws and limitations of the old model. Despite its rather heavy amount of automation, the newly designed Impressor-class Acclamator still holds a rather disappointing 2 squadrons of starfighers and support ships, and only contains a marginally larger amount of space for supplies, troops and vehicles. The Impressor-class Acclamator remains very much a vessel specializing in ship to ship combat, albeit one that does its job rather well.

  • Fleet carrier: The Vilifier-class Star Destroyer operates primarily as a carrier, being able to hold an impressively large amount of starfighters and support craft, that being 9 squadrons in total
  • Versatile: Though ostensibly a fleet carrier, the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer can act in a number of different roles, including as a command ship, an assault ship and even as a landing ship
  • Atmospheric Maneuvering: Though they are massively large objects, Vilifiers are capable of both maneuvering in a planet's atmosphere and landing on a planet's surface without the assistance of specialized technology
  • Heavily Armored: The Vilifier-class Star Destroyer is capable of taking an inordinate amount of punishment for a ship of its size due to its additional interior and exterior armor
  • Additional weaponry: To make the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer more competitive in battle, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has updated its weaponry and given the vessel additional armament
  • Automated: Much of the ship is heavily automated, allowing the vessel to operate with a much reduced crew, saving space for additional troops, vehicles and supplies
WEAKNESSES
  • Underarmed: Though the upgrades provided to the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer has made the vessel more potent in combat, the ship is generally rather underarmed when facing comparably sized vessels
  • Poor ship to ship combatant: Generally speaking, the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer should attempt to stay away from ship to ship engagements with vessels of its own size, though its weaponry can still deal impressive damage to those types of ships
  • Less starfighter capacity: Though still capable of carrying an impressive number of starfighters, the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer actually carries less starfighters than the Venator-class Star Destroyer does: 180 to the Venator's 420
  • Hangar Doors: The original Venator-class Star Destroyer had a serious design flaw: its hangar doors opened and closed quite slowly, leaving the vessel vulnerable to attack. This design flaw has been carried over to the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer, and is even more pronounced due to the heavier hangar door armor, though the addition of a SPHA-T Turbolaser turret somewhat offsets this
  • Slow: The Vilifier-class Star Destroyer is a rather slow moving ship, even when its SLAB subsystem is activated
  • Automated: Since much of the ship is heavily automated, this leaves the ship with a much smaller than usual crew, leaving it vulnerable to boarding actions and making it more difficult to respond to internal malfunctions and emergencies
DESCRIPTION

Prior to the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant's ascension into the Imperial Confederation, the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer was one of the most important starships still operating with the Mahporeem Imperial Navy, though the class of ship has been overshadowed due to the availability of more modern designs. Nonetheless, the Imperial Remnant believes that the Vilifier still has a place in the galaxy, and has set out to upgrade the ship with new technology.

To accomplish this, the Imperial Remnant sourced components from the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, First United Astral Engineering and the Dornean Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate while simultaneously adding their own modifications. Nearly all of the Vilifier's weapons and defenses were replaced with N&Z Umbrella Corporation examples, while the Imperial Remnant looked back to Clone Wars era strategies by adding Deck Guns and a SPHA-T Heavy Turbolaser. Though the ship is still somewhat underarmed when compared to other similarly sized vessels, the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer is now far more capable in combat than it was previously before.

Of course, the Vilifier's greatest combat asset remains its ability to carry 9 squadrons worth of starfighters and support craft into battle, along with its greatly increased interior and exterior armor plating. Though somewhat antiquated, the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer can truly hold her own in most situations, and provides most fleets with a good amount of value for a ship of its size.

  • Ship killer: The updated AX-Wing is well suited to targeting transports, gunships, freighters, corvettes and even frigate sized vessels, thanks to its heavy turbolaser weaponry
  • Point defense: To increase the AX-Wing's survivability and versatility, the vessel is equipped with a pair of NZ ARD-1 Mono Type Point Defense System Laser Cannons, which can be used to shoot down incoming missile fire
  • Armored: The AX-Wing is heavily armored for a starship of its size, making it difficult to destroy in battle
  • Small: Despite its powerful armament, the AX-Wing is a relatively small vehicle, making it more difficult to target at long range
  • Droid brain: Though it is not fully automated, the AX-Wing's Proton Mk I Droid Brains makes piloting and operating the ship far easier
WEAKNESSES
  • Ship killer: Because it is specialized toward engaging sub-capital ships, the AX-Wing tends to struggle against starfighters and smaller spaceships
  • Slow: The AX-Wing is a rather slow moving starfighter, even with its SLAB subsystem activated
  • Unmaneuverable: The AX-Wing is similarly unmaneuverable in combat, even when its AIMS subsystem is activated
  • No ordinance: The AX-Wing is incapable of firing any type of ordinance, as it lacks the weapon systems necessary to do so
  • Expensive: AX-Wings are relatively costly to purchase and deploy, which may limit their availability in the field
DESCRIPTION

Though the original AX-Wing proved to be a robust and reliable design, the ship often suffered when going up against more nimble and numerous starfighters, oftentimes limiting its overall deployment. The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has decided to update the design by turning the ship into a "sub-capital ship killer", specializing it for engaging transports, gunships, freighters, corvettes and even frigate sized vessels.

The AX-Wing's heavy laser cannons were replaced with NZ HP1 Turbolaser Cannons and supplied with Dornean Plasma, making them as powerful as absolutely possible. A pair of NZ ARD-1 Mono Type Point Defense System Laser Cannons were installed onto the ship to allow it to take out incoming missiles, and 4 L-s9.3 Laser Cannons were fitted to the ship's TIE Interceptor Quadanium Steel wings.

Though it lacks any sort of ordinance launchers, the weaponry installed onto the AX-Wing allows it to engage ships far larger than itself, especially when operating in multiple squadrons. That being said, the AX-Wing should still be supported by more conventionally operated starfighters whenever possible, as the ship's low speed and maneuverability can prove to be a major liability during combat.

  • I spy: The CR90-EE's CC-Y Antiradar Defense Unit allows the vessel to identify and detect cloaked units on the battlefield
  • Scoutmaster: The CR90-EE excels at scouting battlefields and gathering information on opposing enemy force sizes and positions
WEAKNESSES
  • Need for speed: The CR90-EE is an incredibly difficult ship to pilot, especially when it is operating at its top speed
  • Horribly unmaneuverable: The CR90-EE is known for being exceptionally unmaneuverable, and has a ridiculously high turning radius for a ship of its size
  • Lightly armed: The CR90-EE Corvette should avoid combat whenever possible, at it only possesses four NZ LC-2A Laser Cannons and two NZ HP1 Dual Turbolaser Turrets
  • Lightly armored: To ensure that the vessel is as fast as possible, the CR90-EE only possesses light armor, and the ship can be easily destroyed under even moderately sustained fire
DESCRIPTION

Following their experience with fighting the Sith Order, it quickly became apparent to the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant that they required some reliable method of detecting cloaked Sith ships and assets without having to rely solely on luck. The answer came in the form of Hyper-Jammers, though those ships did come with a host of their own issues, such as low speed, low maneuverability and a low squadron count.

Clearly, a more desirable solution was required, and in response, the Imperial Remnant came up with the CR90-EE Corvette. Inspired by the Blockade Runners of old, the Imperial Remnant decided to take things a step further by equipping a modified CR90 Corvette with a Star Destroyer sized engine. The first prototypes were successfully equipped with Destroyer-I Ion Engines, and after extensive testing, were ready to be manufactured in small numbers, though the production models are instead equipped with massively oversized NZ Hermes 980HIF/SE Engines.

As a result, the CR90-EE is absurdly fast for a vessel of its size, especially when activating its NZ SLAB-01 SubLight AfterBurner. As a consequence, however, the ship is proportionally unmaneuverable, much like the Hyper-Jammers of old. That being said, the CR90-EE's blazing speed and combination of electronic warfare systems makes the vessel a potent battlefield asset, one that is nearly impossible to catch, let alone destroy.

  • Automated: Much of the Pyre-class Cruiser is heavily automated, reducing crew requirements and increasing space for carry additional troops, vehicles and supplies
WEAKNESSES
  • Glass cannon: Though it is heavily armed, the Pyre-class Cruiser is only lightly armored and quite vulnerable to being destroyed once its shields are down
  • Firing arcs: With most of its weaponry being concentrated toward the front of the vessel, the Pyre-class Cruiser maintains a number of blindspots, especially towards the rear of the ship
  • Limited: Though the Pyre-class Cruiser is capable of utilizing different weapon packages, it generally tends to rely on one main form of armament, somewhat limiting its versatility
  • Small hangars: The Pyre-class Cruiser is only capable of holding a maximum of 2 starfighter and support squadrons, forcing it to rely on dedicated carriers for starfighter support
  • Automated: Because much of the ship is automated, this means it tends to have a smaller than normal crew, which can make dealing with onboard emergencies and boarding attempts more difficult
DESCRIPTION

In order to fill in the gap between corvette sized vessels and Star Destroyer sized ones, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant decided to develop the Pyre-class Cruiser. Barely larger than a frigate, the Pyre-class Cruiser is actually little more than a refitted Luxury Liner, albeit one with a number of unique characteristics often not seen on other comparably sized ships.

As is befitting of its heritage, the Pyre-class is a rather fast moving vessel for a ship of its size, and is able to carry a large amount of passengers and cargo, often far more than other similarly sized vessels. The Pyre-class Cruiser also retains many of the amenities that the ship possessed while it was still in civilian service, in an effort to keep the morale of those serving aboard the vessel as high as possible.

The majority of its weapons, whether they be NZ HP1 Turbolaser Cannons, AFT-14.4000B FLAK Turrets or AFT-PIC.445 Quad Plasma Cannon Turrets, are clustered toward the bow of the ship, giving the Pyre-class Cruiser excellent frontal firepower at the expense of its sides and rear. The Pyre-class Cruiser is best used in an aggressive manner, blitzing more poorly armed ships with its front facing weapons while using its speed to outrun anything that it cannot outgun.
