As for the imbuement, buckle up. In the intervening days, Skeevi had followed @Koh Su's directions, more or less. Instead of introducing themself and looking for training, they'd simply reconned the cultic presence and started stalking it. If you had a Dagoyan adept's unobtrusive Force presence and the many gifts of a street kid on home turf, you could learn an awful lot by stalking. You could pick up sentiments, priorities, techniques, iconography, and sheer vibe. You could meld some of that — over hours of work — with what you already knew about improvised Force-imbued tattoos. You could get real excited.

All that to say, this cyber-tattoo was a bastardized Primeval strength enhancement that invoked the power of distant godlike things.

Mercy's right arm could now be described as eldritch.
  • Right arm sometimes has a will of its own. Will try to summon starweirds and other eldritch things into existence at the least opportune times.

BIOGRAPHY:
Mercy, born Merisya Danton Eristo, was an unremarkable child for the most part. She enjoyed dancing almost as much as she liked to dash around and get into trouble from the moment she could walk.

Unremarkable... except for a stubborn streak that reared its head rather early.

While her parents tried to foster a sense of propriety and duty in her, Merisya never bought into it. Oh, tea time was fine and all, but sometimes you just want to take a sword and shatter every exercise prop in sight. Perfectly normal, no? It all came at a head on her eighteenth birthday when they told her she was to be married soon. You might already realize where this is heading.

She shattered a young nobleman's jaw and left the estate for about a month to 'calm down'.

Around this time the Sith Empire reared its head in the Tion Cluster. While most star sectors fell by sword and fire... Tion was different. They always had an affinity for the Sith and the Imperials all the way back to the original Sith Empire decades ago. The assimilation was peaceful and profitable for most of the noble and corporate leaders. It was then that Merisya realized what she wanted to be.

A Sith.

Nobody ever talked down to them. Nobody ever told them what to do. And somehow Lady Eristo doubted they were ever told to marry someone they had just met maybe thirty seconds ago. She began to train, harder, more furiously and all the while ignoring her parents entreaties to return back to more feminine studies.

At 24 she formally entered the Academy and was treated remarkably better than most students. All because of her natural talents and strength, of course (Not really, even if she wasn't on speaking terms with her parents, the Sith Academy certainly knew who the Eristo family was and wanted them as friends). At 27 she became a Sith Apprentice to an unremarkable Sith Lord with little ambition.

This is when boredom began to set in.

Stories of famous exploits, unlimited power and pleasures gave way to reality.

The reality that... being a Sith Apprentice was far more about carrying coffee, rising up early in the morning, and having to kill a bunch of wayward slaves revolting over being forced to build an oversized statue, than anything else. Once again the stubborn streak settled in. Instead of accepting her fate, Mercy (no longer called Merisya by anyone of note) decided to take an extended vacation to Nar Shaddaa. Under the guise of 'research' and 'experience gathering' Mercy lived it up. Debauchery, drinking, eating, dancing and more, until day turned to night and night turned back to day.

One morning (after a hangover that threatened to overwhelm even HER healing factor) she decided that was enough for now.

Except... for the fact that the Sith Empire had collapsed in the time of her vacation. What's more? The Academy and her now-dead Master had put out a bounty on her head. She found the last part out the hard way, when she was about to step foot on the starport and was spotted by a few hunters. She survived, but realized things were far more complicated for her now than ever before.

After all, there was now nobody who could actually revoke her bounty.

From luxurious nobility to spartan apprenticeship to a life on the run.

Nothing could ever be easy to Mercy, but maybe that was just the way she liked it.

OVERVIEW
In the aftermath of her run in the Kaggath Tournament, Mercy began to draw in a strange crowd. Broken mercenaries, aimless drifters, zealots with no faith left, and people who had lost everything. Some had nothing from the start. They saw her fury and destruction in the Tournament, magnified by Sael’s mentalism, and decided they wanted to be closer to that nightmare. They believed that if they stayed near her, they would find purpose.

Most were not worth her attention. At first, she wanted nothing to do with it. But the fever in their eyes had power. It appealed to the part of her that enjoyed the spotlight and the worship. She did not send them away for good. Instead, she made them wait.

Those she judged unworthy were told to prove themselves. They were sent into the galaxy to bring back something that showed their devotion. Most never returned. Some died, some broke, and some simply gave up. The few who came back with a worthy gift, or those who had been worthy from the start, were taken in.

Mercy does not run a typical crew. The Graspborn hold no throne, no fixed turf. They are a proto-warband. Hardened individuals who show up when she is ready to cause trouble. As long as they do not get in her way, she is willing to share the spoils.

AREA OF INFLUENCE
The Graspborn have no formal territory, but their presence can be felt. Ashline Terminal holds the largest concentration. It is their loose home port, where they gather before setting out along Nar Shaddaa lanes for jobs and raids to prove themselves. Ashline has become a recruitment ground, a place where new broken souls arrive and trusted Graspborn point them toward trials that might earn Mercy’s notice.

There is also a quiet presence in the Hapes Court. A few trusted hands remain there to carry messages if the new Queen Mother ever wishes to reach the woman who put her on the throne.

AESTHETICS
The Graspborn wear what works. Street jackets over armor plates, cargo webbing, and gunmetal hardware. Those accepted into the fold have begun marking themselves with the image of a twisted arm reaching toward the sky. It is a nod to Mercy’s corrupted limb, the Thronegrasp. The name 'Graspborn' was theirs, claiming they were born to reach for power.
