- Becomes a high-value target to whomever is around her when she holds the cleaver.
- This can be a quite drastic effect or entirely inconsequential depending on the mental fortitude of the crowd around her. Someone weak-willed might discard anything and everything, turning their back on their current dueling partner to rush towards Mercy in an infuriated, spit-fueled rage. The flipside, someone with strong mental walls and mental prowess might not feel anything more than a raised annoyance when they see Mercy with cleaver in hand. Easily shrugged off and ignored in favor of more important targets in a fight.
- Drengir hilt was a late addition to the process and confers increased empathy and a variant of the Force meld ability
- It does this by co-opting the Drengir hive-mind network. Surfing on its tendrils to create short-term bonds with Mercy's allies. The process is uncomfortable and they become increasingly more susceptible to the Drengir whispers. It is not advised to use the ability when in close proximity to the Drengir. But it should be fine if they are at least several star systems over.

Once Mercy was Knighted by Ashin Cardé Varanin she realized she was missing something. A blade, forged by Alchemy, to call her own and would fit her style. She sought out the alchemist and blacksmith, Azel Moran, seeking assistance from him. Together they forged Mercy's sword. As with many things that involved Mercy... the end-result wasn't particularly subtle. They stepped away from anything remotely graceful and thin design. Instead settling for something more akin to a butcher's cleaver with a twist. Mercy offered some additional thoughts once Moran's attendants got involved to help finish the project off.
The end-result was rather terrifying as is suitable for someone like Mercy.
The back of the Clever can also be used to slice off slabs of meat, but of course Mercy would never use it for such ends.
