Unstoppable - Disturbed
As her wife rolled her body infront of Cynthia, her arms came up either side of
Stardust Solus Skirae
almost as if she was about to embrace a hug. What was actually about to happen was two blasters having their triggers exploited, rapid volleys of yellow bolts screech to their targets to those in sight either side of the towering Twi'lek. When Star turned Cynthia moved to her right using the scorched concrete barrier as partial cover."Isn't that always the case? It's like they have no taste in a free fall." A smirk ran across her lips as she peeked. How long it had been feeling the thrill of a fight. Bolts exchanging, blood soaked dirt, electrical sparks and smoke filling the air from flames. Together it's a drug to any battlemaster and it's come down familiar to any veteran.
The M3-A-Syke V flown by Bir did a low pass straif releasing an ion torpedo into the plaza at the core of the central building. Streaks of red flack from the AA tailed the fast moving fighter hoping to turn fast enough to get a leading shot but its low altitude made it go over the battlefield faster than one could blink. "Can't give targeted strafing runs till that AA is out. Going long to be ready for intercepts. Hopefully fried that ship in the plaza that was pointed out, don't want to risk looping around with that gun facing my way to confirm."
"Think they are working on it Bir, we'll let you know when the AA is down." As Cynthia spoke she dipped back down to avoid the returning. The man besides her wife threw down a shield that covered the two. It was not wide enough to cover herself. Though perhaps for the best as she peeked and let off another volley to suppress and prevent the few near the gate from peeking themselves.
The shield began to weaken as the energy field began to rescind back leaving holes. It was enough time for her wife to come up with a plan. "Got you my love!." She shouted stepping back, her jetpack roared as she moved closer to the gate in a fast arial slide. Yellow blaster bolts rained down melting holes in any amour the slavers had hoped to protect.
Several pirates did not react well to The Alor of Clan Solus as now guns turned to the easy target in the air. A couple rounds found its mark leaving no mark on the armor, as other bolts flew around in an attempt to shoot down the mando. However the enemy's mid range fighters in higher positions began to find themselves under fire from marksmen.
As her wife pushed forwards it showed the reason Cynthia did not land. Her faith in Rava, Delphine to cover their rear. Once the gate was destroyed the Alor landed behind her wife once more, a pistol pointed in different directions covering the angles others was not able. Ruby red eyes locked onto Kardek Alpha fighting together in unison. She would admit the two were a lethal force, an impressive force at that. "Great work you two. Reming me to have a chat with you once this is done, provided you live that is." As the man neared closer she holstered the two pistols swapping it for the one of the Alor's Reach.
There was no second thought as the doors were blown apart. She sent an explosive particle shot past Star missing the target but blowing a part of the door frame off. "Riduur I'm getting up." A single hand was placed on Star's lower back. A small burst from the jetpack gave Cynthia the height to wrap around her wifes waist, a hand gripping onto the armor at the back of the twi'leks neck.
With the position Cynthia was clear to reach her arm over Star's shoulder and fire from there. Admittedly this was the first time she had done this. Her wife was not always so giant; however, being aware of Star's strength she knew moving would not be an issue even with an extra three people on her back. Granted, two of those people were technically being carried by the Alor of House Solus. "Together." Leaning slightly with a steeled gaze Cynthia was ready for carnage.
