- Beskar sythe: The Alor's Reach particle blasters are equipt with a beskar sythe that can be unfolded, allowing the weapon to be used in a melee weapon. While the blade adds some weight to the weapon, it does give it added versatility. The blades are also connected to a chain, allowing them to extend beyond the reach of the particle blaster's body, but these come with their own risks without proper training.
- Particle bolts are explosive, making the Alor's Reach powerful, and it's shots impossible to deflect with a lightsaber.

. The Alor's Reach uses a powerful particle cannon set up, allowing it to have one of the highest stopping powers for a weapon its size. This is provided by the explosive power of the bolt, and allows the blaster to be impossible to deflect. It also features a folding sythe blade that allows the weapon to be an effective close range weapon. Along with this the blades can be extended out on chains, allowing them to be used as mid-range weapons or tools.With the benefits come issues though. As a whole, the Alor's Reach is heavy, which can make it tiring to use. Along with this, without proper training or against a skilled opponent it is quite likely that the chain or chains, if dual welded, can become tangled. The is also the innate instability of particle bolts it is noted that firing the weapons in close quarters combat can be risky. This risk is worth it though for the power it gives.
