STANDARD FEATURES

ADVANCED SYSTEMS

STRENGTHS
  • Fast: Designed with speed and maneuverability in mind, the frigate is very nimble for a ship of its size.
  • Punch: With a lot of armament and defenses for its size, the ship can take on a variety of targets, both small and big.
  • Cheap: Designed to be quickly produced in large numbers, the Acklay-class is affordable and perfect for small navies.
  • Distance: Built for long voyages, the ship has plenty of extra resources, rations, fuel and whatever else needed.

WEAKNESSES
  • Shielding: To help reduce strain on the main reactor, the molecular shielding strength has been drastically reduced on the frigate.
  • Maintenance: Despite its sturdy build quality, the ship requires regular maintenance to keep running smoothly.
  • Hangars: Due to the size and systems on the ship, the frigate has no dedicated hangar space for accompanying ships.
  • Overmatch: Despite its punch and nimble nature, the frigate can be easily outmatched by larger ships of the line.

DESCRIPTION
Designed as a backbone for any navy, the Acklay-class frigate is a fast and nimble vessel capable of filling any role its users need. From exploration, patrol, or even front line combat, the frigate’s sturdy and modular design is up to the task.

Outside of combat, the ship is surprisingly spacious, with a large cargo hold, comfortable crew quarters, and plenty of hidden compartments. Though some unsavoury users might see its potential for piracy or other nefarious acts.
