Endless Knight

Note: Enjoy - But take care. Sometimes, the nightmare is real.
Vylmira is a world that has adapted from the dredges of antiquity. Instead, it is blessed with Intrigue, and home to an Archivist Outpost for the Knights Obsidian. People travel from far and wide to visit the different technological and historic sites. Ever since

Some come for a quiet life in the city. Some, come for training, via the Knight Obsidian Acanthus School. Some come for the thrill of questing through overgrown jungle landscapes while others still may simply have arrived by accident. Living a life that revolves around floating through space, from ship to ship, place to place, is not entirely unheard of. Space fairing wanderers will find themselves with plenty to do and may even find it hard to leave. For the most part? Where something valuable exists—There is always someone willing to get down and dirty to find it.
Most would think that entrepreneurs would come looking for the latest and greatest export: Vylmirium.
Interestingly enough Vylmirium wasn’t the reason for the influx of visitors. For the longest time, the people of Vylmira have avoided the Great Temple due to the rumors about a creature named Bogan. Not much is known about it by the general public, except, that it kept Vylmira hidden and captive from the rest of the galaxy. They were buried in the dark ages and the beast prevented them from being able to advance. Whilst the creature is long gone, the stain of it, still exists.

Within the Great Temple are many mysteries. Some of which have less to do with treasure and more to do with hidden, old practices, and looming doorways to realms unknown. The Force Nexus that holds influence throughout the majority of the planet is based here. Beyond that, there is another place, a Gateway where the barrier between the living and the dead seems to have become thin.
This path is dormant. No one has used it in hundreds of years, but somehow, the gate looks new. Well maintained. There is a form of power there that a particular group seeks to use to aid them in potentially bringing a friend back to life. Just like the Force Nexus—It is neither light not dark. Just power. Hopefully, it is enough for them to succeed.
