Inquisition Of sekalus (Part 3) COTBR

Sanya Val Lerium

Neutral, Queen of Her people, Neko
Part 1

Part 2

The Inquisition Of Sekalus
[SIZE=40.4742px]Part 3[/SIZE]
The city has been taken, The people now obedient to the new ruler of this world. Even the croa thriving in their new home. This place was a Utopia for the black rose or it will be once the construction of the temple has been complete. The new foundations are set and the new croa have already started the eletricals and other things. All that was needed there now was personal and finishing touches. Not only that but mining operations have been set up all over thanks to the scans from the space station.
The dust hadn't even yet settled yet for Sanya to wrap her head around leading a planet with a population. If anything she'd been a bit preoccupied with other tasks to make sure things with the liberation and conversion of the people went smoothly. Even chasing leads for the sisterhoods benefits. Although with the important things done or in progress Sanya and cam had gone to the temple to meet praelior as requested. From all Sanya knew she had some kind of experiment that she wanted to perform. The shuttle came into land and the Amazon sized zeltron stood there waiting at the entrance. Sanya stood up from the chair holding her hand out for cam to hold while they walked.

Zaria was not a builder and she was far from being called a diplomatic. Lately she discovered she was an explorer. Zaria enjoyed spelunking cavern systems or seeking off high adventures in old ancient ruins. To her knowledge the only ruins discovered on Sekalus was an old temple - which needed to be reconstructed. Zaria would leave that relief effort to those that had knowledge of such doings. Instead she would scour the area exploring and investigating the nearby cavern systems.
Zaria was not sure what she would expect to find. Zaria may discover untouched treasures or nothing at all. Zaria would not be deflated if she came away empty handed. Zaria would be doing what she enjoyed and she wouldn't be doing it alone. In the past she had found a friend and rival in the tall girl that went by the name of Ciara Jevnkaer or simply CJ for short. Together they had discovered a holocron, a few trinkets, and some ancient tomes that where written in a dead language. They made an excellent team - even though they shared the same Master. Hence the rising of a friendly rivalry.
Zaria stood at the opening of the first cave feeling the anticipation mounting inside her. "Well CJ. Same plan as last time?" Zaria cracked her knuckles and stepped inside the cave.

Zarrah stood in the courtyard of the downtrodden temple building. At the centre of the courtyard rested an old fountain absent of water. Zarrah loomed over the fountain peeking into the dry structure with her eyes shut and her imagination taking her back to a time when the fountain had been the topic of many visitations. Zarrah placed both hands onto the ledge and using the ability psychometry began seeing events and impressions left behind from those that had long ago interacted with the fountain.

Zarrah could feel the sadness and the terror from those that had huddled around it on the day the temple was destroyed. "So much needless death," she whispered to herself. Through the visions she caught glimpses of shadowy figures darting around - killing and laying waste to those that once inhabited the temple. Briefly she caught a glowing object in the hand from one of the shadowy figures and knew at once what it was. "A Sith killing tool."

Zarrah was strong enough to quell any uprising by her emotions. Rather than letting anger to fill her up she fought the vision until it showed her something more peaceful. In this vision she saw several different species of the galaxy laughing, joking, and talking with one another. No matter how strong she was the Force was stronger. The vision once again moved to that day of destruction. Again she saw shadowy figures running around killing the locals.

Zarrah's mouth dropped open as she stumbled back and her head shaking. "Impossible!" Zarrah's mind struggled with what she just saw - but her heart knew it was true. "You're dead! I witnessed your death." Zarrah dropped to her knees placing her hands over her face. Now her anger was growing - taking control - and it was seeking revenge and possible answers. Zarrah removed her hands looking around the courtyard as she whispered, "What else have you been doing dear sister other than not being dead?"

Caves where starting to become her sole purpose in life; exploring them anyway. Her first ever assignment with another Darkside group was inside a cave, this one cold and freezing; and a site for fighting. She wasn't sure why both sides where there, or the reason for the groups duking it out, but she was there doing her part; mainly trying to stay warm. As she stood here looking at this cave, she wondered if those droids she buried under mounds of ice and snow had ever been recovered? Probably not. Nobody cares about droids.

Her first assignment back with the Jedi had been around the time they were trying to bring a lost planet back under their influence. The battle she was in began in the forest and ended up, naturally, inside a cave; where she found herself alone with a group of nasty pirates. CJ, luckily, was calm enough to outwit them and only killed a couple of them in the cave. She vowed to herself then that if she ever went inside another cave she would not be alone. Never ever alone.

Then as fate's twisted sense of humour would have it, her first outing with Zaria took them to not just a cave but into a series of caves; where they found some interesting items strewn about. They had to battle mercs, pirates, and overly protective salvagers in between cave hopping; but it was more of an experience than adventure. CJ learned something about herself on that outing; the Force was strong in her and that emotions could cause you to do unpredictable feats if you lost control of them, letting them rule you rather than the other way around.

And now here on the last stage of this expedition, here she was about to embark into another cave. What mysteries await me this time. CJ was more prepared to handle the trials of cave exploration than she had in the past; but in the future she would avoid caves for awhile. If she wasn't careful, she might end up like Lady Venefica, living part of her life inside a cave; and losing her sanity in the process as well.

"Yes, same plan. This time you lead," CJ answered.

Nothing escaped his gaze.

For quite some time Kezeroth had been tailing the Black Rose and watching their moves. He sought to aid them but did not fully trust them..yet. Covered in torn cloaks with armor spikes sticking out in several places. The Epicanthix held his Sith styled Dark armor helmet under his arm as he watched two sisters of the Black Rose embark to a Cave. [member="Ciara Jevnaker"] & [member="Zaria"]. As the wind blew the voices of a billion dead souls howled in Kezeroths mind making his jaw grow stern. It was his Armor, cursed it was. Owned by two previous Sithlords. Darth Vulcanus and Dredge himself at one point in time.

Placing the Helmet apon his head his fiery orange eyes seemed the glow brighter as if he was possesed by the Darkside, Maybe he was. The armor was a nexus of the Darkside and the Sith Sword "The Inferno" on his back was one as well. Pair those two with Kezeroths natural affinity and relationship with the Darkside and you get a production of destruction. Waiting for the women to enter the cave Kezeroth waited in his own presence.

Darth Venefica stood on a grassy hilltop, looking up into the sky as the transports carrying the new supplies, labour force, and machinery began descending down to the surface. The temple had been cleared of all inhabitants, mainly those Force eating beasts, and several of the chambers had been marked priority. However, in order for them to reach those particular chambers, the entrance way and the main assembly hall would need to be redone first. The temple would require alot of work, but time was on their side.
With the arrival of the first transport, the labourers began unloading the supplies; despite having time, schedules still needed to be maintained. Several small crates were removed from the transport, some by single workers and some taking two or three workers, while the second transport was arriving. The second transport brought the heavy equipment, the kind that is used to move the bigger crates and the kind that knocked down useless structures; in this case the front doors and face of the temple.
"With your permission mi'lady, I would like to start erecting the housing quarters for the labourers," one of the assigned enginneers asked her.
Darth Venefica had learned during her time in the One Sith the difference between forced labour, or slaves, compared to enthusiastic labouers, or those treated fairly and compensated for their performance, when it came to building structures. She didn't hold to the belief of using slaves or enslaving citizens for slave work. She believed in using labourers that wanted to be there; especially those that had families to provide for.
"Until all the transports are unloaded and the project is ready to begin.....make that your top priority."

"This cave feels," Zaria pronounced over her shoulder to her partner, "Different than the others, CJ." Zaria could feel a flicker of the Force inside the cave when she first stepped inside. Each step she took deeper into the cave the Force grew just a little bit stronger. Zaria's ability to reach out and scan through the Force was still growing inside her. In terms of a lightsabre - she could duel with the best of them. In terms of the Force - she was still testing the waters with a shaky toe. Lady Timoris - the Master she shared with CJ - was aiding her down the path of an assassin. Not a Sith Assassin - just an assassin.
After some uneventful walking the duo arrived to a fork in the tunnel. The last time she encountered such a predicament the path chosen led them to a hungry Krayt dragon in a cave on this same planet. Unlike the last cave there was no signs of primal hunger just the overwhelming sense of the Force. Zaria respected the idea that danger could be lurking in these caves - masked under the guise of the Force. Zaria looked at both options unsure which one to take.
"We should go right and explore that area first," she said with complete confidence. "We can always back track if we have to."

Maja had seen off the Terentatek. And fortunately she'd avoided its poisonous claws and spines. But she was tired and slumped to the floor. It took a full five minutes before she grabbed a candy bar out of her pocket, took a big bite and felt ready to sit up and take in the surroundings.

It was an underground crypt, so it was small - and the creature took up a large proportion of the available room. But looking past it and around, she was aware the space was covered in cobwebs - but was clearly once ornate.

There was some sort of altar that required further investigation but what drew her eyes was a large tapestry that covered one of the walls. As well as a language she did not understand - yet instinctively knew was Vahla - there was the image of a woman. A mature woman with black eyes and ash-white hair.

Vahl!

Darth Timoris

To err is human, to forgive divine. And I'm no god
Melori landed in the one thing that she still valued. Her ship was not only practical, it was state of the art. It was big enough to house its own fighter, small enough to be swift and was cloaked too. She'd eschewed extravagance of late but this ship was too pragmatic to be abandoned.

On board were two Acolytes. [member="Remy Singh"] and [member="Teresa Sin"]. Neither were her Apprentices but she'd agreed to take them on a treasure hunt - and Melori was always true to her word.

And it was a trasure hunt with a difference. They were searching for crystals - which was not that uncommon. But crystals on an uncharted world. The geological surveys had thrown up an area with caves and a strong Dark-sided aura - and logic suggested it was crystals. The fact that she'd visited the area before and noticed a meteor had crashed into the mountain millennia ago only fuelled the speculation as to what type of crystals they might find.

And she's already cleared the area of a Krayt Dragon with her Apprentice's help, so that could only be a help. But then, who's to say there might be more?

Desert

Leading the croa deeper into the desert from their fortress was the goal. To see what they could find as her teams of croa were searchign for the more dangerous locals of the world. The dunes giving way to just what looked like a dried lake bed before she touched down. "The speed of these sithspawn is quite impressive." She said it seeing them catching up to where she was and barely showing signs of being tired as they moved more and more towards the caves and deposits recorded from the orbiting station.

[member="Darth Venefica"]

Returning from the phrik mine they had established in the desert, the garhoon had sweat on her brow and walked in the thankfully temperature regulated suit she could at least breathe in. They had captured some of the locals to study that weren't being converted into croa, these ones could give them a good idea for the state of being on the planet itself. "We have returned with the first shipment of phrik ore." A mechanical laugh as they had been working on more in the desert such as establishing footholds and small outposts around the main mine and base to defend it. A shield being brought it to protect it from orbital bombardment as she stood there looking on. "This world has a great amount of special subjects."

Grasslands Mound

The grasslands of the world served a purpose as Azlyn looked at the base being set up with the walls constructed as her attention went to what was around them. The local species and humanoids had her attention as she started giving chase with some of her croa following behind her. Saber in her hand on a chain dangling off her hip as she swung it like a rope to catch or stop one of them. She had a grin on her face leaping up towards one of the trees and climbing up to get a full view over the area while the cat women soldiers were purring with their excitement at chasing down prey.

How there was still work to be done on this planet, Camellia didn't even know. Although she did really, considering that all the work so far had been taking control and ensuring things settled. The mining efforts before had been side work really anyway so it didn't really count for anything much in regards to the planetary scale. What did though was making sure that the world was secure and that the black rose were able to successfully achieve what they wanted here. Which so far appeared to be focused on a temple the group was putting together, and where a certain Sith Zeltron was requesting both Sanya and the Rendili woman's presence at. For what, Camellia had no idea, but she went anyway. Quietly following along with Sanya as they waited for Lady Praelior to appear.

Looking forward to things and how they were going the little girl danced around with her chainsword going through the temple. She was leading the way through for the croa walking around with her and the large leviathan Mister bubbles as it roared helping make the path out of the city. The only city on the planet before she danced and skipped around. "La la la la la la la la la la" Bundori was here and her master was as well wile she danced around more, keeping the pace before the croa stopped a little looking at her and licking their paws.

Sawa Ike

The Dark Matriarch Darth Shōjō
She was moving now through the temple, with the rotunda and the entryway of the temple. The grotto and catacombs were cleaned and designed for them while she walked now. Her croa and her troopers were moving. They had more things to work on like erecting statues along the main walkway and the best part. They were working on construction for the underground facilities for their research and work. A statue of Venefica was being carved from obsidian and bleached bone as she walked through the streets.

Remy had ran and found her way earlier into the northern regions as she had gotten picked up. Her minimal clothing more a loincloth and top with no boots as she crouched with her shriek hawk n her shoulder touching with her bare feet the ships cool metal surface. her facial tendrils ticked a little it preparation while she was moving forward. One hand clutching her blades and she had a new look on her face watching the ones who were there with her. Not her master and a woman she didn't know who she was before taking a seat with the croa around them and the troopers. "I am ready to begin."

More and more transports began to litter the surrounding area, each one spilling it's contents into the gathering mess called civil engineering. The main focus would be to rebuild the temple, while salvaging what resources that were still useful from the old structure. Other projects, some military and some civilian based, would eventually crop up around the area; but not in a cluster sort of way.
The area, like the planet itself, was ripe for building upon, so she saw no need to build one building atop of another; when each structure could be safely spread around. This was also a military decision, one that would prevent multiple attacks at once against them in the event of invasion.
The temporary barracks and housing units for both the workers and the assigned troops to this project that been completely quicker than she had suspected. Back on Eriadu, where her lone Sith temple sat unmolested and nearly forgotten by everyone but her, she forced the workers, slavers then, to work constantly throughout both day and night.
Many slavers had died, but the One Sith had plenty to spare. This time around, she was older and more mature not to throw lives away. She learned how to utilize her work force properly, and still maintain a steady and consistent productive level.

Constructing

The city needed ports... well larger ports and hangers that were being constructed into the mountains. As more haulers came to unload and work on things for them. The haulers working to construct a larger space dock they could use to construct ships. She let her eyes fall on the city while she was going through it with her arms crossed in on her hip Azure sat to see what she could do. These croa were proving skilled in making sure they had people working as the ones who couldn't fully transform were added to the growing pool of black ooze going through the city. She could feel the darkside emanating from it as they went off further and further towards the main buildings.

Temple

Shinju had moved off, letting her daughters play around in the city as she was leading a team off into the distance towards one of the temples near the equator. There was plenty outside the only city on the planet as her attention was on some of the things sending the croa out towards it through the jungle. She could taste and feel the nexus of the world seeping into her skin while she ate at it pulling the darkside into her while making notes of the different things they could do. "Now go forward and work to make the place our new home." She grinned to herself rubbing the gloved hands together while hearing and feeling new sensations from the species around them.

Balaya had been working with the other sisters, her croa were preforming better then she had expected when it came to taking the world for their use as she walked forward holding the large axe she had found in the catacombs while her pouch held the fist sized pearl of black stone. It had been beneficial for her to find when she was walking. THe croa moving around under her feet before she was walking to see what Sanya and Camellia were doing when her fingers tapped the wall going forward in the zoosha dress she had made with Raven before the woman had disappeared leaving her rather lonely and wondering what else she had denied herself in the past. "Come to me my pets."
