His childhood taught him characteristics that served a chloreric temperement: during fights, he developed fortitude. He learned from street engagements how to be indepenedent, and a desire for self-learning was imposed. Despite this, his economic status remained stagnatnt. And increasingly, due to crime, places for people like him became few and in between.

It was during this time that his father turned to a life of crime for sustenance. And he expected Illiad to follow him. But the Epicanthix had no desire for such a life. He would never sell out his family though. And that would come back to bit him.

In a deal gone astray, Illiad's father had to make a hard choice. Give up his son, or his wife and his entire family. His father chose the latter, and his entire family was killed in the process. Left alone, Illiad turned to odd jobs for sustenance. And it was here that he discovered he was a force sensitive. But he never cared for it.

    Until the Confederacy came knocking.

In an encounter that remains a mystery, he joined them. Left with nothing else, he searches for a new opportunity.

    Ascension

While hunting for his father's killer, he found himself in Confederacy space. During this instance, he met his would-be rival, Lavria Xedrim, apprentice to the Vicelord of the Confederacy. It was here that the young squire dueled her, and chose to join the Confederacy. Seeking to grow in knowledge, he approached the Nightmother, Vytal Noctura, and learned from Ashin Varanin the skill of tutaminis, a handy power that focused on absorption.

The squire continued to ascend, seeking a former warmaster, Damsy Callat, and dueling her. He also sought the former Lord Commander Voph, who taught him about lightsaber combat. With this successful endavours, Illian sought to rest his mind, going to a club; immediately after, he already sought knowledge once more, gaining from Darth Petrichor an -unorthodox and- interesting perspective on Sith philosophy, and view of the force.

  • Personality overview:
Illian possesses a complex personality. From the beginning, he has always had a small possessed a complex personality. Fortitudous, when he has a goal in mind, he develops the necessary dispositions to pursue it. An organized individual, Illiad seeks to maximize every moment of his time effectively. His schedule is structured to the minute detail to the point that he knows what he will it.

A loned wolf by trade, he does not seek relationships to validate himself. In particular, this is because of the tragic incident that occurred with his fmaily; additionally, it is also because his father chose him over his family. Therefore, while able to hold a conversation, he does not seek any friends.

Despite this, if persistent enough, people will find in Illian a loyal friend. He has demonstrated in his childhood multiple occassions where he will protect those he loves: whether it was accepting his father's betrayal for the best of his family; or choosing not to reveal his father's trade, Illian will protect his friends to the core.

On the other hand, he has a strong sense of justice. Illiad despises crime, and is willing ot use whatever means necessary in bringing individuals to justice. Furthermore, he possesses a kindred heart to young criminals. Having grown up in dire circumstances for his entire life, Illian understands the reasons individuals seek crime as a pursuit towards wealth. Nevertheless, he does not show a kindred heart to kingpins of a particular trade.

As someone with a choleric-melancholic temperament, the Epicanthix is known to having a strong, enduring emotional reaction. For instance, he holds grudges and masks it well. He despises losing, and possesses a strong competitive streak. For any of his rivals, Illian seeks to outdue them by any means. Competition is a conquest: something that he must win in any circumstance. In a sense, this is one of his strongest traits, but it is also a weakness. In time, perhaps, the galaxy will humble him.
