Private Cold Reception II

Credit to Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru for the title of the thread.

Westender City,

Winter, The Shrouded Moon

Of the missions he'd been given, he couldn't understand why he had been sent to this planet of all places. A man of complaints, he silently cursed the superior that had handed him the mission, his neutral expression masking the anger that he felt. There was an urge to clench his fist or to break something, yet, he knew that composure was so important. It was one of the things that he had constantly learned in his life, and perhaps today, it would be something he'd learn once again.

Illian was unfamiliar with the Shrouded Moon. In a galaxy of tens of thousands of planets, it was never a world that he wanted to visit, nor had he ever heard of it. But apparently, at least according to his dossier, there was an important shipment of rare goods that he needed to return back to Confederacy space. Why they had never used a major hyperspace route, he didn't know. The young squire knew it was better not to spend time questioning this things: it would not resolve anything, and it would leave you less focused on the task at hand.

And that was why it was here. For a city that considered itself warmer than the other parts of the planet, it was still cold, extremely cold. Were it not for the armor he wore, he would be freezing. No amount of regular cold showers prepared him for this: but then again, someone can only plan so far.

Surprisingly, for a planet that was a quasi-dictatorship, he was surprised to see everyone dressed in armor, even among the working populace. It was as if he had descended upon a warrior race, or perhaps it was a day to remember people. Whatever the case, the young force user was more happy to be allowed to carry his weapons. He'd been practicing on the targeting range recently, knowing full well a diversified skillset was better than being the master of a few skills. As he walked on the streets of the capital city, a part of him had hoped he could test some of his new weapons, but he'd never gotten the time to do so in actual combat.

Maybe today would be his chance.

Master of the Hyperspace Seas
The clang of his metal foot softly echoed down the street.

His ship was docked on this rock of a planet for some repairs, so he decided to make the most of it. Literally. Wherever you go, there is bound to be profit. Today it was in the form of two younger force-users. Even though he was sensitive in the force as well, that didn't stop him from collecting money where he could.

A lightsaber bounced back and forth within his jacket. It had been one he found on his many plunders. It held a white crystal inside, emitting a unrefined type blade. This suited him well while he waited to make his own.

Looking at the H.U.D. inside of bus helmet, he was able to find the general area of the first target. He was in a three block radius. All he had to do now was find him.

"Yee better be ready, cause ima coming for yah. Prepare yee self for a saber duel, the finest of its time."

Cyran scrolled though his datapad. Looking though local bounties on the moon. His armorweave didn't do too well to deal with the cold. It was designed to be airy, and breathable. A shame that he had to use it here. Huddled in on himself he looked though more of the bounties until some caught his eyes.

It was a confederate, and a Force User. He pondered it for a moment. He didn't really hand around CIS space to often. So he figured it wouldn't hurt to possibly get his license with them revoked if he captured one of there guys. It was risky, but it was also one of those blasted force users, and they always irked him. He was currently on a landing platform next to his ship. Opening the door and platform to it he activated his two probe droids from his vambrace. Hovering over to him he gave them the details on his new target and they set off into the city to help look for Illian Dragos Illian Dragos .

Making sure he had everything he needed, Cyran closed up his ship and stepped away. Leaving the landing pad and making his way into Westender City proper. He was on the hunt now.

The CIS had proven to be quite close allies to the Sith Empire as of late. All the war happening within the Sith's cloud of influence, and they were always there to back them up. It's what brought Alina to this world. A frozen planet. To help the CIS with a package that needed to be handled.. Carefully. Very carefully, from what she learned of it. Whatever was contained in the case was something rare enough to be taken a roundabout way to CIS space. It better be something good, cause she absolutely hated dealing with the cold.

Alina emerged from the spaceport dressed in a thick fur coat complete with a hood. Lined with more fur. Not the fancy kind, but the rugged keep you warm kind. Being this bundled up meant she wouldn't be able to move as much as normal, but at least she'd be warm. Last time she was on a cold planet like this was for some training and that nearly ended with her freezing off her fingers. Turns out training in the cold in minimum clothing was as dumb as it sounded. At least she actually felt stronger for it.

Her yellow gaze drifted over the crowd. She was supposed to meet someone here. A.. Illian Dragos Illian Dragos ? Yeah, hopefully that was the right name. She at least knew his face. Meet up with him, have him lead her to the shipment, make sure it gets off world without a problem. She started to move through the crowd, scanning around.

Should be an easy day, right?

For such a tall man, even he felt out of order here. The amount of people here were too tall for him. Well that and it was cold...extremely cold.

As far as he knew, he had to meet someone... an Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru . From what appeared based on their physical depictions, she appeared to be similar to a blonde he had fought a while back.

Knowing full well an old tactic to speed things up, the future knight called on the force. As he closed his eyes, he could feel a particular signature, one he had experienced before. That coupled with the similarity in her depiction made him conclude that it was her. Alina Tremiru was here.

He made his way toward her location, moving as quickly as he could. The quicker he moved, the quicker the mission would be completed. And he'd be out of this god-forsaken planet.
