  A revitalized Dreadnaught design produced by Rendili Star Drive. The yards needed a new design fast after the planeshift cast the planet into The high Republic. Dusting off the trusty dreadnaught, once one of the most common capital ships in the starlanes, eventually having a reputation to match that claim. Heavily armed, and with a gun lay-out that allows an optimim forward salvo and solid broad-sides, the new dreadnaughts lay a strong claim to the title of heavy cruiser.
  
  More advanced automation and internals allow for an expanded hanger bay and reduce crew needs, while better reactors power faster engines and improved shielding over their old counterparts, overcoming their historical shortcomings. Though much of the old innovation was kept as well, such as the internal bridge secured in its own armored citadel and a large forward cargo hold behind sloping armor to soak up damage before it reaches critical systems. These High Republic Dreadnaughts aren’t as refined as other ships in the fleet, but they make up for it with the same elegance as a brick to the face. Because sometimes that’s what you need to hold the line.
