“Sith-Imperial star destroyers once hung low over this Plaza, and many of these structures have burned to the ground twice over. Yet, despite it all, here we are again, willing to fight for our freedom. I often find myself wondering how many terrible men have stood in this very spot, looking out across these very buildings. I wonder what they thought about while doing so; whether they were ignorant or aware of the consequences of their actions on these people.”

The Imperial Remnant on Lialic has long relied on the dangers of travel within the Deep Core and its considerable obscurity for defence. They had barely enough troops to maintain order within their diminutive dominion. The planet had no resources of its own to offer the greater galactic community, and so its utter unimportance quickly caused it to fade from even the most erudite explorers' memory. It was only by chance that a data-technician in Coruscant's archives stumbled upon an old document detailing a forgotten hyperlane to this sheltered system.
When the Galactic Alliance's expeditionary fleet arrived above the planet, its Imperial governor had realized her reign would come to an end rather unceremoniously if she resisted. Not an unreasonable woman by any means, Governor Magre contacted the man in charge of Lialic’s rediscovery,

Lialic has only one settlement, perched atop a modest mesa. The people there have lived under the rule of their Imperial garrison for the past decade and adopted a scavenger culture. The territory beyond the settlement is mostly inhospitable on account of regular volcanic activity, though, the locals have discovered sparse pathways through the molten valleys that comprise nearly all of Lialic's surface. Ruins scattered throughout those valleys suggest the planet may once have housed sprawling metropolises, but a cataclysmic event has since reduced it to its current state. Governor Magre claims a warlord’s thirst for blood had made the planet what it is. This warlord, she said, brought to bear the fearsome Base Delta Zero manoeuvre against Lialic’s people when Sith rule had collapsed, pursuing a strict scorched earth policy. It's within the ruins of their old homes that the scavengers find old scrap for their Imperial masters. Conditions are dangerous out in the valleys and the bounties scarce and meagre at best.
With the arrival of the Galactic Alliance, they need not risk their lives for mere survival under Imperial rule any longer. It's time to once again welcome the people of Lialic, the few who remain, into the Galactic Alliance and the greater galactic community.

Objective 1: Relief Arithmetic of Lialic
The people of Lialic have long suffered not just the oppression of a broken Empire’s shadow, but the terrible living conditions they’ve been condemned to. Their settlement was once a major factory, but much of it has been destroyed, broken away with much of the mesa when the cataclysm shook the planet. What little tech they have has been scavenged from old and broken equipment while their food has been slowly and painstakingly grown on inhospitable grounds only to be taken away so it could be rationed meticulously by the Imperial garrison.
Help for the people has finally arrived in the form of the Galactic Alliance. Supplies, graciously donated by the REC backed Rogue Moon Project, have finally arrived and need to be distributed. Materials to reconstruct vital infrastructure, basic tech and tools needed for modern living standards, and most importantly food are among those supplies.
Help the settlement in whatever way you can and make some friends while you’re at it. Show the galaxy the good that people can do!

Objective 2: Project PHOBIA
As part of her play for a better position under the Galactic Alliance, Governor Magre had revealed the location of a secret Imperial research facility on Lialic. Your scout team has been dispatched, led by local guides, and discovered it has lain abandoned in the heart of the Lialic’s molten valleys for quite some time. Analysis suggests the facility’s primary research object was a powerful Force-based weapon capable of unleashing psychological torment on a terrifying scale. Four of these devices were recorded in the researchers’ data, but thorough exploration only reveals three. The absence of the last device can’t be chalked up to coincidence, in fact, one of the local guides seems to have disappeared as well …
Can you find the missing device before it is too late? Hunt the thief through the hazardous wilderness of Lialic’s molten ruins and prevent the weapon from falling into the wrong hands!

Objective 3: Imperial Remnants and where to find them.
The fate of the clones who once served as soldiers for these now-defunct Empires is on today’s agenda here in Coruscant’s Senate. The manpower these clones represent could be a great boon to the Alliance’s industry and military, but can the morality of their forced servitude be reconciled with the ideals the Starbird stands for?
Decide where you stand on this matter and make your voice heard within the Senate!

Bring Your Own Objective
Lialic is a world of molten valleys replete with ruins of a modern civilization. Explore remnants of its cataclysm, find common ground with the locals, or follow a story of your own making. The possibilities are endless in a galaxy of adventures!
