TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Cortosis Blade: Able to block blaster bolts, and disrupt your average Lightsaber.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight: When in it's Scabbard, also made from the wood from Cathar, it looks like your average katana. Only when drawn does it's Cortosis make up reveal itself.
  • A Curved Blade!: Just like your bog-standard katana, the blade is curved, making drawing the blade quickly a breeze, and giving Jonyna quite the surprise strike to anyone unsuspecting of her blade's true nature.
STRENGTHS

  • Purged by the Light: Once a blade only able to channel the Force, now Sally has been imbued by the Light Side of the Force. With all the upsides of a Force Imbued Blade, Sally also has two new imbuements that make it even deadlier.
    • Burning Light: Sally has been imbued with the ability Golden Flash, allowing the blade to damage, or even potentially destroy, items imbued with the Dark Side upon contact. The Dark Side seems to burn away at the touch of the blade, and while it cannot negate the properties of natural materials, it does allow Jonyna an edge against those with armor rich in the Dark Side.
    • The Light of Valor: Intent on making sure she never was overwhelmed by fear again, Jonyna imbued Sally with Force Valor. So long as she holds the blade in her hands, she feels the power of the Light flow through her, making her faster, stronger, and more agile, as well as further resistant to the effects of mental attacks.
  • Cortosis, the old standby: Able to disrupt a standard lightsaber, and able to block your average blaster.
  • Surprisingly Light: Due to it's material make up, the blade is relatively light for it's size, giving it's user the ability to draw and swing the blade much faster than one would expect.
  • One Hand Wonder: Due to it's reduced weight, the blade is able to be wielded effectively in one hand, as opposed to your average steel katana.
  • Cold as Steel: With the reforged blade including a Vardium Steel as it's new base material, coated in Cortosis Weave, the blade is cold to the touch, and thus can withstand incredibly high temperatures.
  • Sheath, Not A Weapon, But Not Not A Weapon: The sheath of the blade, while not a weapon per say, is carved from City-wood, giving it quite the ability to tank damage, and be used as a bonking stick.
WEAKNESSES
  • Only the Darkness: Despite it's many imbuements, Sally is not a wonder blade. It's Golden Flash imbuement only affects Dark Side imbued items, and has no effect on normal items.
  • Armor not Withstanding: Due to being a Katana , it's ability to cut through most armor is extremely limited. Cuts through flesh like butter though!
  • What do you mean you're immune?!: Able to disable lightsabers with it, if a lightsaber is missing it's Dimetris-circuit, then Sally will clash with it like any other force imbued blade.
  • Requires Force to Work: Any form of Force Nullifcation would make the blade just another Vardium Steel katana.
  • Bonded: Given it's unique construction, the abilities the blade grants only seem to work for Jonyna, and anyone using the sword otherwise would find a regular Vardium Steel katana rather than a mighty blade of the force.
DESCRIPTION
Built by Jonyna Si during the height of the Empire, Sally was built to cover the lack of Jonyna having a saber when she first started calling herself a Hero. After months of scavenging old CIS droid graveyards, the cathar scrounged up enough cortosis to forge a blade, even if it took her several months of trial and error. In light of her gaining a lightsaber, and eventually a second, Sally would be relegated to a secondary blade for the cathar, used to surprise unsuspecting inquisitors who thought their lightsaber would grant them the upper hand. Now in the modern day, it acts as Jonyna's secondary against the forces of the Sith, the cathar still resolute that sith are arrogant show offs who want nothing more than to waggle their lightsabers around like they make them invincible.

After her battle with Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex , Jonyna once more felt a need to enhance the blade. With Corazona von Ascania Corazona von Ascania holding a ritual of imbuement on Ukatis, Jonyna took the chance to enhance the blade she had once called her 'saber'. Now a mighty blade of the Force, Jonyna hopes to finally have a blade to fight back against the sith, giving her an edge against foes she has always struggled with.

STRENGTHS
  • Tanky Boi: The Lifelight is built around a massive ship once used by the Dark Empire. As such, it's able to withstand quite a beating before losing it's hull stability.
  • Ion Storm: The Lifelight has a hefty sum of ion batteries, designed to disable heavy opposition, rather than destroy. Designed as a bulwark to defend smaller vessels, the Lifelight was created to act as a massive target for enemy ships to fire on, while it's crew evacuate the wounded.
  • Medical Bastion: Much of the original systems were stripped, and replaced with medical facilities. the Lifelight is one, massive hospital ship, designed to take thousands of wounded, and allow ruined cities to flood in, and be organized into triage networks.
  • Command and Control: The GADF's Relief Fleets have been expanding at a rate unseen in decades. As such, the Lifelight has been designed with an AI that automatically coordinates internal and external records across the fleet, allowing ship commanders instant access to who is where, streamlining the GADF and NJO's efforts in reconstruction and relief.
WEAKNESSES

  • Lack of Teeth: By design, the Lifelight was stripped of all of it's purely offensive weapondry outside of missile launchers meant for defense. Despite once being a mighty Pocket Dreadnaught, the Lifelight has been turned into a defensive ship first and foremost.
  • "Imperial Engineering": Given it's history as a refitted wreck, some of the internal structure is weak in places due to it's battle wounds. While Si Tech did it's best to restore the skeleton of the ship, a few places still bear the scars of battle, and as such, should someone get inside and manage to fight their way through, catastrophic failure by destroying key points within the spine of the ship could cause it to snap in half.

DESCRIPTION
Once the Pride of the Dark Imperial Fleet, the NIV Predator was captured during the Defense of Coruscant, and left to the SIA, GADF, and NJO to search through. Much of the ship was stripped bare, in an effort to reverse engineer much of it's tech, but once the process was done, all that was left was a damaged hull and no real reason for the GADF to keep it. While the GADF had considered turning it into a war museum, The Sentinel of Harmony pushed for it to be refitted as a hospital ship upon her appointment to the Jedi Council.

The ship was turned over to Si Tech as such, and renamed the "Lifelight", refitted into a command and control vessel for the GADF and NJO to coordinate relief efforts across the galaxy. A show of force, and a show of mercy. Jonyna once saw the 'angry triangles' as a sign to retreat, but now she has rebranded them as a massive beacon of hope in the night skies of planets in need of rescue.
