Comprised of a mixture of veteran pilots from the second-iteration of the Galactic Alliance with decades worth of experience and the very skilled pilots from the Electra-Series Program, the Crimson Linings is a force to be reckoned with, designed as a strike squadron that engages in both conventional and unconventional warfare against the many enemies of the Final Dawn, making use of innovative tactics that always keep them one step ahead of their enemies. HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The origins of the Crimson Linings can be traced back all the way to the days of the Second iteration of the Galactic Alliance. Back then, the Crimson Linings lead by the Ace Pilot Wilhelm Vonreg were a prominent starfighter squadron within the Alliance's Starfighter Corps scoring many victories against the forces of the First Order and the Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War. However their luck ran out when they committed war crimes against the First Order and were punished by their superiors in the Galactic Alliance. The Crimson Linings was disbanded, and it's members imprisoned and put into stasis. However shortly afterwards the Galactic Alliance fell apart, and the Crimson Linings were quickly forgotten to the sands of time. That was until agents of a man by the name of Marlon Sularen stumbled upon the facility which housed the imprisoned ace pilots and proceeded to release them from their stasis.

Approximately a decade had past since they had been imprisoned and the galaxy had changed. Many of the Galactic Powers present during the Great Galactic War had collapsed and new ones had taken their place, but there was one faction that caught the interest of the Crimson Linings the most, a new itteration of the Galactic Alliance that had formed in the Core Worlds, which saw itself as a spiritual successor to previous iterations of the Alliance. Seeking to get revenge for what they perceived as a betrayal against him and his fellow pilots, Wilhelm Vonreg proceeded to pledge himself to the cause of Marlon Sularen whom himself had been betrayed by the Alliance and sought their downfall. As such the Crimson Linings became loyal followers to Sularen with Vonreg working closely with Sularen to help him advance his agenda which included the total dismantlement of the Alliance.

Eventually Sularen would be betrayed for a second time and would flee to the Unknown Regions where he met up with a growing power by the name of the Brotherhood of the Maw. Despite being comprised of marauder tribes, pirates and other sorts of scum, the Crimson Linings followed Sularen and eventually settled within a growing Neo-Imperial Military Junta on O'reen by the name of the Final Dawn, becoming the first starfighter squadron commissioned by the Final Dawn's Starfighter Corps. Given Vonreg and the other pilots of the Crimson Linings prior experience in the Great Galactic War, they soon proved themselves to be a force to be reckoned with, on par with other Mawite Elite Squadrons such as Nacheria Squadron and the House Daedelon with the former ending up being integrated into the Crimson Linings.

Thanks to the influx of highly skilled recruits from Final Dawn Worlds and gifted Chiss Strandcasts from the Electra-Series Program, the Crimson Linings continued to increase in size, soon becoming a fierce rival to the Galactic Alliance's own elite starfighter squadron known as Revenant Squadron engaging in numerous indecisive clashes with Revenant Squadrons. This would eventually make them feared across the Galactic Alliance's Starfighter Corps as such a dangerously skilled and powerful unit that not even their best pilots could defeat. Now the Crimson Linings are at the height of their power with dozens of pilots and starfighters at their disposal and numerous warships ready to be utilized for all sorts of operation. As such they are ready to face any challenge thrown at them regardless of the odds, all in the name of getting their revenge against the Galactic Alliance and to bring glory to the Final Dawn.
