ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Capital Ship Killer | Is equipped with powerful armament and capable of carrying out deadly alpha-strike attacks upon enemy capital ships.
  • Point Defense Weaponry | In addition to it's heavy armament the TIE/fdA "Annihilator" is equipped with a ball turreted Point Defense Cannon for defense against pursuing fighters and interceptors
  • Advanced Power Management Systems | Allows Power to be diverted to one of the three Major Systems of the Starfighter [Shields, Weapons, Engines]
  • Sophisticated Countermeasures System | The TIE/fdA "Annihilator" is equipped with a variety of Countermeasure Systems designed to grant it greater survivability rates in major naval battles.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lack of Mobility | Has limited mobility for a starfighter of it's size lacking in any considerable speed or maneuverability especially when the power is shunted to the weapons or shields.
  • Advanced Power Management Systems | When power is diverted to one of the three Major Systems, the other two systems are weakened as a result which does place the TIE/fdA "Annihilator" at some disadvantage depending on how it's foe reacts.
    • Shunted to Engines | Weapons and Shields are Weaker
    • Shunted to Weapons | Speed is Reduced and Shields are Weaker
    • Shunted to Shields | Speed is Reduced and Weapons are Weake
  • Agile Hull | Extremely Weak Hull , once the Shields are down a few shots are enough to destroy the Missile Boat.
  • Fixed Forward Weapons Placement | Has to constantly re-orient itself to lock onto it's Targets
DESCRIPTION
After the Battle of Tython and the devastating results that came with it, Grand Overseer Marlon Sularen now having assumed control over the Final Dawn in the wake of the mysterious disappearance of High Regent Derix Tirall, began works on improving the Final Dawn Military with the development of new Military Hardware and Equipment. The TIE/fdA "Annihilator" Heavy Attack Bomber is among the first of these new assets being developed by the Final Dawn under Sularen's oversight designated with the sole purpose of providing the Final Dawn with a dedicated Bomber capable of rivaling it's counterparts in the Galactic Alliance and the New Imperial Order, the B-Wing and the TIE/HB Bruiser respectively.

With the sole purpose of replacing the Final Dawn's aging fleet of FD-120 Starfortress bombers, the TIE/fdA "Annihilator" is equipped with a vast array of heavy weaponry including missiles and other deadly ordinance capable of dealing devastating blows to enemy capital ships and ground targets alike, as well as holding a single ball turreted point defense turret and a sophisticated countermeasures system capable of providing it continued protection against pursuing enemy starfighters granting the Annihilator increased survivability rates in battle. Thus with such promising features, the Annihilator has begun to be produced in limited numbers as the Final Dawn begins to prepare to test their new Heavy Attack Bomber in order to regain the initiative as the Second Great Hyperspace War drags on.

As always, very thorough and comprehensive. There are, however, a few issues that will need to be resolved. Please tag me when these adjustments have been made.

  • Defenses: Your rating of ‘high’ for the normal setting of defenses is not high enough considering all of the defensive components you are incorporating. With the laser reflective armor, copious and diverse shielding systems (specifically, the molecular shielding of note), matrix armor, missile deactivation transmitters, et al... - the minimum defensive rating this starship should have is Extreme. If you drop either the matrix armor, laser reflective armor, or molecular shielding, then very high would be appropriate. Drop another, then i’d feel comfortable with high. But as it is, this ship is excessively well armored and shielded for a rating of ‘High’. Please revise.
    • I would imagine this would throw off your very meticulous and well done ‘shunting’ settings. I will re-review this after your revisions.
  • The link for the Bio-Hexacrypt Module under the AFIRS-397 Flight Communication Module is broken. Please fix it.
