STRENGTHS
- Interceptor: The Colla-class is an extremely agile, fast, and small starship making it easy to maneuver in tight situations and outmaneuver opposing starfighters.
- Heavy Hitter: The Colla-class has a high offensive capacity, with powerful laser cannons and missile launchers carrying devastating Buzz-type droids.
- Solo Flying: The Colla-class works best when paired with friendly starfighters, and when outnumbered becomes easier to be picked off.
- Just a Fighter: Without a hyperdrive or fuel for long-range flight, the starfighter must rely on starships on ground side bases for continuous resupply and support. The Colla-class lacks the means of intergalactic travel, and thus ships with hangar bays must be utilized to transfer the fighter from one system to the next.
The Colla-class Droid Tri-Fighter is the next-generation iteration of the iconic droid tri-fighter fielded by both the old and new Confederacy of Independent Systems. It is designed to excel in starfighter combat and heavy dogfighting, with high speeds, maneuverability, offensive capabilities, and a small frame that make the tri-fighter a hard ship to target and destroy. With an advanced droid brain that allows for higher levels of targeting and combat, the Colla is a capable and powerful interceptor that will bolster the fleets of the Confederacy to come.
