GENERAL INFORMATION
-
- Planet Name: Centerra
- Demonym: Centerran
- Region: Unknown Regions
- System Name: Luminaria
-
System Features: Centerra has one sun, known as Eos, and two primary satellite moons: Oceanus and Pilos. Beyond these major moons, the planet is accompanied by six lesser orbital bodies. These smaller satellites are not considered true moons by Centerran astronomers, but are instead classified as captured planetoids, moonlets, submoons, and dark companion bodies held within Centerra's wider gravitational field.
Together, these six lesser bodies are commonly remembered in local tradition as the Six Wanderers. Some orbit Centerra directly, while others are believed to be minor attendant bodies caught around Oceanus or Pilos. Their slow passage across the sky is often used in navigation, ritual calendars, and omens tied to the Stellar Convergence.
The Luminaria system lies within a treacherous nebula formed from an imploded star cluster, making ordinary navigation difficult and often obscuring Centerra, its moons, and its lesser satellites from outside detection. - Location: Here
- Major Imports: Advanced technology, luxury goods, refined starship components, medical supplies, specialized droid parts, hyperspace navigation equipment, off-world art, rare cultural goods, and regulated scientific instruments.
- Major Exports: Natural ores, precious metals, crystals, gemstones, luminous pearls, medicinal herbs, agricultural goods, regulated gravitic minerals, luxury craft materials, and select ecological resources.
- Unexploited Resources: Centerra is believed to contain protected or difficult-to-reach deposits of Force-reactive crystals, rare metals, null-field materials, minerals, and organic compounds. These resources are not openly exported in bulk. Many are hidden within unstable zones, sacred sites, deep crust formations, lunar trenches, old ruins, Hollowite-bearing groves, or regions affected by the Stellar Convergence.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
-
- Government: Oligarchy led by the Council of Elders, with elected representatives preserving balance between the planet's cultures, regions, and major powers. Key roles include the Lord Protector, Chancellor, High Counselor, and other officials responsible for governance, defense, diplomacy, law, and civic stability.
-
Affiliation: Centerra;
Matthew of Valendale
- Character Bio : Lord Protector of Centerra, and is affiliated with the Faction: Farworlds Alliance
- Wealth: Wealthy. Centerra possesses valuable natural resources, protected custom materials, refined luxury exports, rare crystals, regulated gravitic minerals, agricultural goods, and culturally significant craft industries.
- Stability: High, Centerra is generally peaceful, law-abiding, and safe for travelers within major cities, trade routes, temples, and settled regions. The planetary government maintains strong civic order through the Council of Elders, regional authorities, and the Lord Protector's office. However, remote territories may be more dangerous due to harsh wilderness, old regional rivalries, isolated ruins, dangerous wildlife, resource disputes, and occasional disturbances caused by Force anomalies or the Stellar Convergence.
- Freedom & Oppression: Centerra largely values freedom, individual rights, and the rule of law, though its political reality is layered and regional. The Lord Protector and central government serve as an overarching planetary authority, but many cultures, territories, and native peoples retain their own kings, queens, clan chiefs, councils, elders, or traditional rulers. Local customs, old rivalries, spiritual taboos, and regional power blocs may shape how planetary law is interpreted or enforced, and not every group is equally loyal, involved, or concerned with the wider aims of the Protectorate.

MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
-
-
Military:Centerra maintains an organized planetary defense structure under the Lord Protector and the broader Sunfire Legion. The Sunfire Legion draws recruits from many regions, cultures, and species across Centerra, serving in planetary security, disaster response, peacekeeping, anti-piracy operations, border defense, and protection of vital locations.
- Submitted examples of its forces include the Sunfire Legionnaires and Sunfire Dragon-Knights, which represent part of Centerra's wider military and regional defense traditions.
- Technology: Galactic Standard, with notable regional variation. Some cities invest heavily in science, advanced infrastructure, gravitic stabilization, repulsor systems, and research, while rural or sacred communities may prefer simpler tools that preserve older customs.
Technology on Centerra varies widely by region, culture, wealth, and spiritual tradition. Larger governments and wealthy enclaves can support major research initiatives, while smaller settlements focus on practical survival, agriculture, craft, and local defense. This uneven technological landscape encourages exchange between cultures, but it also creates visible differences in power, access, and daily life.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
-
Stellar Convergence
Every 100 years, the Stellar Convergence traditionally aligns celestial bodies across the Luminaria system. The skies blaze with unusual color, tides rise, gravitational forces strain the coasts, and temporary portals or Force anomalies may appear. The event inspires awe, but it can also bring danger: floods, unstable passages, bursts of power, ecological disruption, and political unrest.
Following the 902 ABY Planeshift, the Convergence has become less stable and more difficult to predict. Disturbances in galactic orbits, hyperlane routes, and nearby stellar bodies have unsettled the old cycle, causing weaker echoes, premature alignments, delayed celestial patterns, and increased anomaly activity throughout the Luminaria system.
Sunfire Legion
As Centerra's central authority developed, the Lord Protectorate established the Sunfire Legion as a shared planetary defense arm answerable to the Lord Protector and Crown Council. The Legion draws soldiers, officers, specialists, and Dragon-Knights from many peoples and territories across Centerra, working alongside local guards, clan forces, temple protectors, and regional militias.
Sun Star Order
The Sun Star Order plays a central role during these periods, guiding, protecting, and warning Centerra's people while reinforcing the planet's belief in balance between life, the heavens, and the Force.
Settlement & Unity
Centerra was discovered by explorers during the Expansion Era and became a refuge for different groups seeking a new beginning. Early settlement brought ambition, cultural fracture, and conflict. Over time, the Sun Star Order helped mediate peace, and an oligarchic structure emerged to govern the planet through representatives, elders, and regional powers. The Council of Elders now aids major decision-making, with the Lord Protector serving as one of the visible guardians of planetary order.
Despite repeated hardship, Centerra endures as a world of uneasy unity: bright cities under strange skies, old ruins under green canopies, and many peoples trying to share one home without surrendering what makes them distinct.
