The Auction House in Tarko-se had just been finished when the Directorate of the Trade Federation decided to host its first official auction after slumping sales on the Galactic Market.

It appeared most individuals were not so inclined to purchase Federation technology due to their reputation so there was a small hope that the auction would allow them to unload some much needed items from their warehouses and shipyards to interested buyers in exchange for Underworld Credits.

"All bids are final and will be enforced through the Bounty Hunter's Board." The voice of a Trade Baron, a Neimoidian dressed in fancy garb and a rather large oversized hat said from the podium for the third time this evening across the floor of the Auction House on Cato Neimoidia.

There had been rumors of individuals not paying their dues on certain items so the warning about the Bounty Hunter's Board should provide a degree of security for the event and ensure that all profit was accounted for.

The guest list was equally impressive, a glittering assembly of princes, influential trade moguls, and even discreet senators, all draped in the finest tailored garments. Each had arrived with a singular, fervent hope of claiming a unique treasure from the showroom floor.

With shaking hands, Tilon transferred 40,000 credits, leaving his accounts very bare. He was now, somehow, the owner of not just a top-of-the-line hyperdrive but...five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten space stations of varying sizes and capabilities. What the actual feth was he going to do with ten space stations.

Now on the other hand, if he figured out how to tow a couple of these out to somewhere like Calimancha, he could probably name his price. And a couple others would be fantastic deep-space waypoints and supply depots for a long-range expedition. Deployment would be the trick.
