DESCRIPTION

The Artificial Habitation Ring was developed by Loymière Shipwright to provide refugees and other species that have lost their home either due to superweapons or other cosmic disasters a comfortable place to live. While other large scale refugee resettlement plans have been accomplished by the major factions with successful results, there is an uncomfortable truth that many of the native populace see these refugees as outsiders and quote on quote invaders. The Ring was meant to solve this problem before there was any major issues.

Overall, The Ring was designed based on the ancient Habitation Spheres once built by the Galactic Empire before the Battle of Endor with considerable modernization efforts to match the standards of the galaxy's current inhabitants. Coming equipped with several large atmosphere generators to provide a safe atmosphere to the inhabitants of the ring world and rotating on its own to provide stable gravity throughout the station. They were built to house a large number of people but there large size means they are a prized target for pirates and vagabonds and they lack offensive weapons to defend themselves with.
