The Mancheron Type 92 Zugor Lightning Rifle is the first product of the Type 92 Line of the Mancheron Association of Manufacturing and Commerce's Heavy Weaponry Doctrine. Following the particular disaster of the Type 82 Mega Junk Pistol which was found to be defective. Doctor Igor Zugor was tasked with designing another weapon which would serve as a overall replacement. Knowing that lightning rifles were still in use in primitive but advanced enough cultures and unknown regions factions. Harnessing the power of natural lightning was out of the question considering the dangerous implications and risk of death associated with such an action. Synthetic Lightning was achieved by breaking down the already in existence Heavy Lightning Rifle and reengineering it to better reflect the current weapon development shift towards more high damage output type weaponries.
Doctor Zugor designed the lightning rifle within a week, and named it after himself to claim credit if the weapon was overall a success with customers across the board. The Zugor Lightning Rifle is relatively slow when it comes to firing due to the need to build up a powerful enough electric current to deal any damage. The recoil of the weapon was also a problem with smaller species facing difficulty in actually using it but that does not hamper the overall effectiveness of the weapon in actual combat situations. It is heavier than some rifles due to the unique z battery which actually generates the electricity through the wired frame and makes it last longer. Overall the weapon has seen some level of deployment on the battlefield with the Mancheron Association hoping for better profit margins after their first design.
